My first time here and we loved it! Food was delicious!

We love Kennedys, the food, the service, the location, atmosphere and owner are ALL amazing. We loved Kennedys so much that we had an amazing wedding here, this summer. Owner Christines attention to detail was perfection. Our Ceremony was on the sand and then transitioned inside for the cocktail hour and the party. All our guests said best wedding ever. Absolutely love this restaurant. Went for my birthday and everything was perfect. The server was very nice and attentive. Food was delicious. Sitting right by the beach was wonderful. Definitely recommend and will be coming back.

Everything was perfect from appetizers, to drinks, entrees and then the desert. We had a salad, the mussels, oysters to start. My wife had the mushroom and truffle risotto. I ordered the NY strip. Was absolutely perfect. Can't wait to go back again

I've eaten here many times over the years and my daughter had her wedding ceremony/reception here a few months ago. The staff is friendly and accommodating. Service is excellent. The food is very good, moderately priced (a bit on the higher end of the scale) and consistently high quality. The ocean/beach views and atmosphere are pleasant, but it can get a bit noisy when crowded. This is a very nice place for a family dinner or an enjoyable night out. The main dining room is not too fancy nor upscale for all to enjoy in casual attire. There is plenty of parking, and it's well worth the drive out to Breezy Point for a fine meal.

Great outdoor dining by the beach on a beautiful night. We had the 815 seating and had a little wait but the service was great and the food was really good. Had mussels appetizer which was awesome and the shrimp risotto with scallops. Really good and a hidden gem in NYC

Our family lived in Breezy for almost 50 years and it was always a treat when we could go to Kennedy's. It was a great feeling to have our favorite restaurant within walking distance. The food, service and views are amazing and now that I live 150 miles away I really miss our meals at Kennedy's.

This was the third time that I have been here and I have been pleased each time. The menu is varied and always good, the service staff are attentive and the bay water views with the NY skyline in the background all make this a special place. I have been here for both lunch and dinner but they were in the off season. Even then, I made sure that I had reservations. Breezy Point is a restricted community but if you are going to Kennedy's you can get a car pass to park in their lot.

Beautiful nautical inspired decor with a great view. Went there for lunch and although they had a small pub lunch menu, the food was very good. There was a private party going on in the dining area but it did not interfere with the excellent service that we received.

We had a small holiday party from my my job at Kennedy‘s tonight. I have been to this place in the summer and also in the winter season. It is a beautiful place and the holiday decorations make the place very festive. The food was excellent. We ordered the 2 tomahawk steaks for five people. We also ordered four other main courses. In addition, we had delicious, baked clams, fried calamari, and dumplings for appetizers. Lastly, we had a Caesar salad for the table and desserts, which I will get to later. The main courses were all very large, tasty, presented well and Cooked to perfection. The vegetable of steamed broccoli was very tasty with just enough garlic. The mashed potatoes were excellent, and the onion rings strings were super crunchy and delicious. For dessert we had apple pie, carrot cake, And hot beverages. Everything was top-notch and an excellent way to end a most amazing meal. Our waitress was Danielle Who was very attentive, knowledgeable of the menu and helpful when it came to explaining the specials. Our eater glasses and drinks were always full. All dishes were properly removed when we finished with them and she Genuinely cared that we were well taken care of. This is an excellent restaurant to visit anytime of the year. I recommended highly.

Over the years, we have celebrated many special occasions at Kennedy’s (birthdays, graduations, engagement, etc). In January, twenty of us celebrated our mom’s 79th birthday. Christine and her staff were exceptional. The food was delicious and the atmosphere is stunning. To creating many more happy memories in our family at Kennedy’s.

Food and service are excellent. We sat upstairs for the first time and last time . The view was nice, but prefer sitting downstairs. The table next to us was so loud, we could barely hear ourselves. I guess that's because the upstairs is much smaller than downstairs plus there's no bathroom upstairs. Definitely prefer downstairs. Nonetheless, this is a great restaurant with great food and drinks and service. Plus, I believe every weekend there's live music which is a nice touch.

Took my best friend out for a girls night. What can I say about Kennedys? Delicious food, great attentive service, beautiful location, amazing sunset views, and top notch drinks. I will always highly recommend Kennedys

We had a small wedding dinner in the loft area this past weekend. We were so happy with the entire process. Christine, who organized the event, was so helpful, accommodating, pleasant and overall great to work with. The day of the staff was so quick to help set up exactly how we needed. They were friendly and attentive to all of our guests. The setting was perfect with amazing views of the beach and city. The loft area created a quiet intimate setting while still being able to enjoy the live music from the main dining area. And finally the food! Everything was perfect and delicious. I would highly recommend hosting an event here but would also recommend enjoying a delicious meal any time!

We took our parents there, the food is amazing. Mom said the New England Clam Chowder is great. The crab cake is made with real crab! The bacon... is QUALITY. This restaurant is one of our favorites.

Kennedy's and Buckley's have been my favorite restaurants since I was a child and still to this day. The owners are one of the most sweetest families I've ever met and have such big hearts. The owners and staff make you feel like you're family and go above and beyond for their customers. It's a great place to go out to eat with your family or a girl's night out. Amazing food and atmosphere

This place is fantastic! The service is impeccable, the food is incredible, and the bay view is beautiful. There was live entertainment this evening, Magic Bones! Talented duo that had everyone singing along and dancing. The restaurant and their menu are sophisticated and elegant, but you can be yourself, hang out at the bar, and watch your friends eat free peanuts all night 🤣

I hosted my daughters bridal shower at Kennedy's on Saturday, 10/21 and I couldn't have picked a better place, the staff went above and beyond to help and were so sweet. Christine, the event planner at Kennedys was wonderful to work with. If I could I would give Kennedys 100 stars. Thank you all so much for making my daughter's day so memorable.

Went to Kennedy's to see CatNip Live Music who were incredible! The mushroom risotto, chicken parmigiana and short ribs were excellent as was Kennedy's staff! Kennedy's is a great restaurant and live music venue!

We love coming to Kennedy's. Great food, service and atmosphere. The views are a plus too. During the summer, eat outdoors and you won't regret it.

Went for a special 50th birthday family dinner on a Sunday afternoon. Excellent food & appetizers, great service, pretty atmosphere seated by big open windows with views of the sunset

I love this place and community but you have to be respectful to the neighborhood since it’s a private everywhere here and you can only park based on a permit and access to the restaurant which is fair. Be nice and people will be nice back at ya)

Dylan was the best waiter I’ve had in years. Attentive, knowledgeable & great recommendations. The pork chop was epic, perfectly cooked juicy & flavorful. Bartender gets applause for the chocolate martini also.

Seeking refuge from the torturing windstorm, we drove from fort Tilden to Kennedy’s. Spacious and beautiful view of the beach from the window side table. We had an amazing host who accommodated us thoroughly. Reasonable price and delicious menu options.

Never disappoints. Great atmosphere..Specials are always changing. Friendly staff. Full bar. Great selection of tap beers. Wine as well . Reservations highly recommended. Probably necessary during the busier Summer season which is fast approaching.

It has the look of a beautiful beach front house. They have a full bar and indoor and outdoor seating. You have to make reservations because it’s a busy place. If you want to sit outside, you have to let them know that as well when you’re making the reservation. They offer live music and the service was great. if you go outside in the back over the sand dune, you get a beautiful view of the city skyline.

Oh we loved it!!! Please never get rid of that Chamboard and Proseco drink. It's the most refreshing alcohol drink ever. The steak was top notch especially with the red wine sauce. The key lime pie was sooooooo good!! So was the fresh onion soup. Just order everything.

What a gem this place is. I had the Surf and turf was fantastic all the apps we had (clams and mussels) were phenomenal i love it here , the atmosphere of being right on the sand plus the classy interior and good chill music was a great combo. My dad had the stuffed salmon which he greatly enjoyed. Service was very cordial and well done. 5 outta 5. Will be back.

My husband and I had our wedding at Kennedy’s 9/16/23. Christine and the staff were so helpful and organized the perfect day for us. We wanted a wedding with amazing food, an open bar and a laid back, different but beautiful environment that wasn’t like all other weddings. Christine helped plan the perfect day and was very accommodating to us and our families. She helped with planning the seating, the menu and everything In between. Still to this day, when we see our wedding guests they talk about our wedding and how amazing the venue, food and drinks were. They also could not believe how amazing the bartenders and servers were. By far the best open bar for any event we’ve ever had or been to. A year later, we came back to celebrate our 1 year anniversary and just like our wedding day the food was simply amazing. I recommend having any event here or even a nice lunch. It is such a special place.

This was a nice spot for dinner. It is right on the water. They do offer outside seating. There is a parking lot in front of the restaurant but you have to check in with the parking attendant first. The menu was expensive and they offered great specials. I wish the service was a little better.

Beautiful atmosphere with very good service and nice bar. Great food. I recommend the onion soup and I also had a scallop special. I liked that they gave the pricing of the specials up front. You enter the Breezy Point area through a check point and need a pass to enter and park. Reservations are a good idea as the place was packed at lunch on a weekday on a lousy weather day so views were limited. Looking forward to returning here.

We celebrated our anniversary celebration and we had a wonderful time and the service was perfection!! Just make sure not to visit the day after a storm like we did tons of water blocking the road but thank God our RV is high enough to prevent the water from effecting our vehicle. Over all everything was just right, the food was perfect the views were superb and they took care of us really great. This location is very clean restrooms clean parking and the Food came out on time drinks and wine was outstanding thank you guys for the great service! Thanks for making us feel special during our anniversary celebration 🎉 the views are spectacular!!

During our visit to Kennedy's restaurant with friends, we thoroughly enjoyed the friendly and welcoming atmosphere created by the staff. Their smiles added to the positive ambiance of the place. As for the food, we decided to explore the specials for the night. The surf and turf dish was a delightful combination, and the Tuna salad was prepared to perfection, satisfying our taste buds. The fry calamari was also a standout item, and the filet mignon cooked to medium rare was tender and flavorful, leaving us impressed. However, when it came to the dessert, we found it to be a bit underwhelming. It didn't quite live up to the high standards set by the main courses. If I were to give a suggestion, I'd recommend skipping the dessert. Overall, our experience at Kennedy's restaurant was enjoyable. The excellent service, delicious main courses, and friendly atmosphere made for a memorable evening. It's a place we would recommend for the savory dishes, but perhaps opt for dessert elsewhere. A beautiful escape from the urban lifestyle to this posh sea front restaurant where the views are as priceless as the food itself. My husband and I arrived with 4 kids at the start of their dinner venue and were accommodated promptly. The venue packs up quick so reservations are highly recommended. We had some of their specials for the day; tuna crusted salad and the halibut in capers sauce over truffle mash. For the kids we ordered broiled snappers over mash which were delicious and cooked with a perfect crunch on the skin. I highly recommend the maple duck over the sweet potato mash because it just melts in your mouth. For dessert we tried their flourless chocolate cake which was very decadent. Our wait staff were truly remarkable, attentive and professional. The overall experience had a Hamptons vibe and it was truly fabulous.

Creamy mushroom risotto was splendid and the Chicken Puff pastry! what a gem! The deserts were wonderful too. Warm apple tart was incredible! Will definitely be back.

Delicious food, Tuesday special Tomahawk steak with yummy mashed potatoes & freshly cooked string beans!!

Lunch was lovely, though a little noisy. They had the sliding doors open to the wonderful view of the bay which did make it a little humid. The food was excellent. Delicious French onion soup nice and hot and beautiful spinach salad with blue cheese, honeyed walnuts. Dessert was nice keylime pie.

Lovely restaurant, beautiful environment and mood. Tastey food, and well prepared. Service is always good. I recommend to call ahead to make sure they aren't booked for an event. We've been turned away on more than one occasion because there was an event of some sort that had booked the entire place. Also, remember to stop at the booth at the town entrance to get a parking token. Overall great, lost a star because it's tad bit overpriced, and I would like to see some more menu options as they only have a handful of entrees and a limited wine list.

Food is 10/10 every time! Staff is super friendly and attentive, only one minor complaint was my drink was 95% champagne and a drop of aperol, which is really not how an Aperol spritz is made. Otherwise really love this place

A good place to try now that outside dining is an option. Eating on crowded city sidewalks is not really an appealing idea. Here you eat on the side of the restaurant right near the sandy beach. Beautiful view, ocean breeze. They have set up a floor and canopy tent.We did the earliest seating for dinner to avoid crowds. Even on a Tuesday the tables were full by 5, but they are reasonably spaced apart. The sun was up and quite strong. I would opt for the tow of tables further under the tent if you're there at that early seating time. Now that I've seen I'm comfortable with the set up in terms of social distancing I would go later to see the sunset and it would not be so hot. The food here is good, not great but okay. Cocktails good, service good, views beautiful and unfortunately for now the health and safety becomes my number one concern and for that Kennedy's outdoors under the tent or by the patio is a good choice.

If you go here on the weekend, be prepared to be overwhelmed with noise. It gets very crowded and they have live music. To me it’s not a pleasant experience. And if you should have any issues with hearing, it will not be worth going. Definitely make reservations for the weekend and if you can sit upstairs do so. It’s a little bit quieter. I recently went on a weekday afternoon. It was a good noise level, though I still think they could work on their acoustics in the building. Service was good as well. I wasn’t as impressed with their menu. Not a lot of vegetarian options at all. Not even with the appetizers. Overall, I like it here because of the view, even though they’ve built up the dunes, so you can’t really see the beach itself. But it’s still a much nicer view than being in Brooklyn. However I will only ever go again during the week. The weekends are completely out for me.

Food was uneven: skip the Alsatian onion soup. It was only fair. The crab cake appetizer was good, but very skimpy and overpriced. Salads were excellent. Their Caesar salad was extremely good. Fried calamari and marinara sauce were very, very good. Desserts were very good, too. The atmosphere is lovely and staff is very accommodating. Choose your food wisely and enjoy yourselves.

I just don't like to give 5 stars. Service was adequate. Views from the beach are great. The fried calamari was very good. My son and I shared the tomahawk for 2. Ordered medium rare. Wasn't red enough for us, but was good. They have a fairly good beer tap selection. Overall a good experience.

A very special place with great vibes in a quaint neighborhood with American flags everywhere, stunning sunsets and views of NYC. Friendly, accommodating staff, delicious food and great ambiance. Perfect for a casual lunch, cozy summer dinner or a special celebration. Absolutely coming back.

Very good food. I had the swordfish and it was juicy and delicious. The skin could have been crispier, but as I said, it was juicy and well seasoned. It came with plain white rice. My companion had the steak and it was very well cooked as well. The waitress was very friendly and all staff were pleasant. The patrons were a little strange - we felt like we were being stared at.

This was my 3rd time here, went on a Sunday afternoon, party of 9, very crowded. Waiters did a great job considering how busy it was… they were very attentive, quick, and courteous. Surprised to see a lack of variety on the menu to be honest. Yes, there were specials but the main menu was slightly above average “pub food”. I had the beet salad which was surprisingly a huge serving but it was drenched in a vinagrette that would have been best served on the side. Several others and myself had sandwiches which were “ok”, as in nothing special. My sons had the wings which were tasty but slightly overcooked (meat was very dry). The salmon dish was a very small serving of fish. Ribs were average as well. Overall, everyone of us was unimpressed with the food. It wasn’t bad, but none of us were “wowed”. So 3/5 stars… Everyone enjoyed the fries for what its worth. Atmosphere is bright, clean, and fresh. Bathrooms are clean as well. Plenty of parking as well and no steps so easily accessible for everyone.

excellent food, well prepared and presented in a gorgeous scenic location, but you park for what you get, and dinner for 2 without alcohol was $220. Live music by 2 above average singers doing all the great American songbook standards I'd definitely say it's worth it for special occasions. and their catering room and service is highly recommended.

I have been here many times with small and large groups and loved it. However this time was very unhappy with the older woman at the front desk. Seemed upset bec we arrived 20 mins earlier and did not go to bar. So we went outside. We then came in and were seated on the worst possible table near the serving station when I was told I was sitting near the window in the atrium. I was as polite as can be and did not make a problem since I was taking family there for the first time. We were just excited to be there again. I also had my son w autism and husband w beginning of dimentia. Please be kinder. Thank you.

I went to Kennedy's for a family members birthday lunch on a Saturday in December. The place faces the beach and city so it was a nice view. The wait staff was very patient and nice. I had Ceasar salad, penne alla vodka and chicken parm with an apple cider spritz. I did not like the salad, I've had plenty of Ceasar salads from various restaurants, and the dressing never tasted fishy but here it did. I didn't really like the chicken parm, I think it might have been the flavor of the sauce, but that's just personal preference. The spritz only tasted like prosecco, I didn't taste the apple cider, so I was a bit disappointed in the cocktail. However, this was a warm and cozy restaurant, I would recommend a couple checking it out as it had a romantic vibe to it.

This is a local seafood restaurant and it’s very nice, but it’s full of a lot of older grumpy people. The food is good, not quite 5 stars, definitely 4, the service was excellent! The prices were reasonable for a beach side restaurant, and although the decor is very nice and it’s well laid out, the patrons were rude, loud and lacked some manners. Remember all experiences are different, but for example, as I stood in the lobby waiting for my partner to use the restroom before leaving (not blocking the lobby just standing patiently) a lady walked up behind me and said quite loudly “it would be better if you moved.” Not excuse me, or, walk around me, (again, not blocking the way) just rude and entitled bc I happened to be standing somewhat in her intended path. This is not the fault of establishment nor the fault of the staff, they were great. Also, the entrance is gate controlled, which I get, but yet again as I was trying to enter a truck sat in the way chatting with the attendant in the booth for a solid 5 minutes. Never looked behind, absolutely no thought I was there at all. Just chatting. Also. Oddly one of the bathroom stalls in the ladies room has a door “situation” see the picture. Conclusion, it’s a very nice local place with good food and excellent service that is full of at least some entitled patrons who bring it down. The food was very good but not quite exceptional. Overall, good experience but I’m not sure I’ll be back.

Elegant place to go for a romantic dinner. This restaurant also has an excellent view. The huge windows make it possible to enjoy. Very nice atmosphere and people around. The service here very attentive and I was not to impressed the food, just ok. I liked the calamari the most. I recommend to make reservation because this place is very popular and you can have a problem with parking.

The lobster bisque was excellent but the sirloin burger was not so good. I ordered the meat to be cooked medium which should be pink in the middle. It was very well done and tasteless. I only ate part of it. It made the food part of a nice evening out disappointing.

Great location, but unfortunately no access to the beach. You have to leave the community after. Restaurant is good, but feels like not really clean. Some stains on carpet, the tables scratched, smell Like old building inside.

Been there 1000 times because it’s close to the house but they never accommodate me or make me feel welcome. It’s the only game in town so they don’t go out of their way to make you feel special. Also hostess not very friendly. Very busy.

The food, service, and music were excellent. This was my first time here so I had no idea it was in a gated community. I had a view of the bay with boats on one side and a beach house adorned with the anti-black lives matter on the other. I felt uncomfortable with the neighborhood politics. I saw few people of color in the restaurant. As a result, I will not be back.

They got 3 stars for location because a restaurant on the bay is an amazing thing. I was there for a baby shower. The staff seemed bothered the entire time. We had to ask for things several times, and they brought things to only half the table every time. They rushed us out. I barely saw anyone smile. I dare to say its inclusive to their locals. We were a large, very diversified party. I didn't feel welcomed

Delicious food and beautiful ocean views. I went with my boyfriend for an outdoor dining date. The tables were decently spaced apart and the servers wore masks which was great given the current situation. My only complaint and the reason for the 4 star review, is that one woman dining a few tables away from us would continually get up without a mask on and light a cigarette which she would smoke under the tent for a few minutes before moving away from the restaurant. This happened 3 times during the hour we spent at the restaurant. My first thought was “ewww I’m sitting at this expensive restaurant and all I can smell is cigarette smoke.” But beyond that I was worried that she was blowing smoke so close to us given the fact that COVID 19 could definitely have been transmitted to us if she had it. The staff saw this happening but didn’t say anything to her. My boyfriend and I just ate our food and left as quickly as possible. I loved my meal and will definitely be back but only once indoor dining opens up so we don’t get into another inconsiderate smoker situation.

Went down to celebrate with my family and left disgusted and disappointed. The service was dreadfully slow and after waiting 40 minutes between ordering our food and the first plate coming. Then we had to wait another 10 minutes for the rest of the food to come out. The food was just thrown in front of us and it lacked any presentation. The prime rib, which was a special, was raw. The management just stood there asking if we wanted anything else hoping to milk more money out of us. We wanted to get up and walk out right then and there. Our night was ruined. The management was spineless in this dealing with the situation. They also did not check our vaccination cards upon arrival which is a requirement in NYC.

My roasted chicken was so dry and tasteless. The potatoes felt like they were prepared the night before. The question is, is it really that difficult to make a good chicken with potatoes?

Ordered the lamb chops medium rare. They were chard. And not even an inch thick. What happened to the 2 inch chops? I asked to have my vegetable in a separate container. Nope the entire dish stunk like broccoli. Shame on you for charging $42 for a dish that is so subpar.

Don't waste your time driving here, they don't want to serve you. "No food served" "Don't you have the pub menu?" "Oh yeah, we do" You do your namesake a great injustice.

Showed up without a reservation, on a slow night, and was treated extremely rudely. Front desk staff and bartender made us feel very unwelcome. Food is fine but not worth the awkward interactions with staff that treated us like garbage. Save your money.

Beautiful restaurant and views. Did a private room here for a family event and heard multiple bad reviews from our guests. The thin manager with frizzy blond hair was especially beastly, can’t recall her name. Fine for residents but don’t waste your time going here if you’re not a regular. They don’t want your patronage and are going to make that clear
