Honestly some of the best steak and lobster I have ever eaten. Every bite was to die for. I did the New York steak medium rare for $32 and added a 10oz lobster for $35. My wife did the filet mignon )$34 medium rare both Paired with asparagus and cheesy mashed potatoes. $67 -$69 each. Well worth it. Highly recommended
Great happy hour experience, the food was amazing, my favorite was the Coppino, and they also have a huge selection of cocktails. Their fish and seafood are fresh and delicious. Go for the happy hour and you can save $$$. It’s juggler recommended!
Never a bad meal here. The food is delicious, and always fresh. Their jambalaya is fire. If you've never tried it I highly recommend it. The service is great, always greeted with a smile and kindness.
Great food, reasonably priced for fish. Chef knows how to properly cook fish. Excellent. I had the combo meal, Mahi Mahi with a shrimp skewer. Wife had Trout with a scallops skewer. All were fantastic.
Food was phenomenal. Decided to try the filet with shrimp scampi and it was cooked perfectly - I was pleasantly surprised to have a great steak at a seafood restaurant! Scampi very tasty. A special order was made exactly as requested. Great service from Janet. Great dining choice!
We were seated when all our guests arrived for a birthday celebration. The staff was friendly, helpful, and eager to make our vist an enjoyable one. The entre I ordered was fresh and tasty. Everyone in our party enjoyed there food as well
Was craving clam chowder and this was the perfect place. Their clam chowder is exceptional! And their sourdough bread was the perfect companion. We couldn’t decide what we wanted because everything sounded so good. We tried the sashimi scallops which were so sweet and delicious with the masago and green onion. The half shell oysters were good, but nothing to write home about. We tried the California roll made with real crab and it was good but the rice isn’t right for a roll, but then again, this is t a sushi restaurant so maybe that’s too critical. Lastly, husband had the Harvest of the Sea which was a fantastic mix of fresh seafoods with linguine pasta in marinara. He’s not really a seafood pasta guy, but he really enjoyed it. All in all, delicious food. Clam chowder hit the spot. Took an order to go for lunch tomorrow. 5 stars for the clam chowder.
Welcoming atmosphere, our waiter excels at his job. My water and tea were full and he brought two spoons cause my husband wanted to share a bowl of soup and an appetizer. He frequently checked on us throughout our lunch. The food was hot and delicious . Lovely first time experience, Will visit again, highly recommended.
The food was insanely good! My family and I loved every single thing. We even ordered extra sides of brussel sprouts to go. Steaks were cooked perfectly. This was a last minute choice for a late dinner and we were so pleasantly surprised by the food. The service/ food was really quick and the server was very polite.
We made reservations for 6:30. Qe were seated quickly. Our server was friendly and helpful. It took a minute for them to order our drinks. The sourdough bread was hot and crisp on the outside and fluffy on the inside the butter was kind of hard so it took a minute for it to melt on the bread and thank goodness they already pre-cut the bread a little bit so you just have to do the final Cut and then try and spread the butter on it. I put butter slices between the pieces that were still together so it would melt. I ordered the parmesan crusted halibut with cheesy potatoes, charred asparagus and herbed spinach. It was seasoned and cooked to perfection. Yes, I said it. It was a perfect plate. I don't say that often, but it was. My husband got the New York steak well done. He luckily gave me a bite of it before he defiled it with A1 steak sauce. I really enjoyed my dinner. Wish I had enough room for dessert, but for the first time in a long time, I actually finished my plate so, no doggy bag. I would definitely go back and recommend.
Market Broiler was a "random" restaurant that I picked to meet friends. The waitstaff was wonderful. The bread that was offered was yummy! We ordered the following: 1) The seafood pasta dish with scallops, calamari, mussels, and shrimp. Very tasty! 2) The sea bass with asparagus and cheese potatoes - a winner! 3) Wedge salad with the bacon wrapped prawns. (The salad, very good and prawns were good- but not as tasty as we have had in other restaurants.). All in all the dinner was enjoyable and delicious. Thank you.
Was in the area due to a work conference. Group of colleagues hit up this seafood place for Happy Hour. Table pic of food were all from Happy Hr menu and had HUGE portions for almost half the price (I checked the next day and it was almost half off for seafood!). Food was delicious. Staff were friendly and attentive. It was so good a couple of us went back the next day and ordered dinner to go! Snapper and clam chowder were amazing- comes in pint or quart and one whole round sourdough bread. We ate it before we remembered to take pics. You can see and taste the clams in the chowder. Thick type clam chowder, not watered down like at other places. Lots of locations in SoCal, but variety may vary. Also took pics of the fresh seafood display case while we waited for the takeout on our way home!
I thought the food was pretty good but not quite great. Our service person was really friendly and attentive. The chowder was pretty good and the bread was very good .I would probably visit again and try another dish.
I’ve driven past Market Broiler in Riverside so many times and finally decided to stop in today. The restaurant felt cozy and welcoming, and the service was genuinely friendly. The clam chowder was the highlight—it honestly made me feel like I was in Seattle. While the fish and chips were decent, they could use a little improvement to really match the rest of the experience. Overall, a pleasant visit and I’d definitely come back to try more items on the menu.
My wife and I are frequent customers for MB. Usually are meals on point with our selections. Unfortunately tonight our meals did not align with past visits. My wife ordered the pan seared halibut and I ordered the filet mignon. Both of our meals were not cooked at all. Which is not a major mistake. Issues come up from time to time.... I feel going out to be far more costly then in the past... Due to that people are willing to pay for the increase in the cost. I feel the restaurant should be raising the level of customer service for their customers. Server and Manager apologized. Which was a nice concession to the issue. The head chef came out and validated the meals were cooked to perfection. Which was a nice touch on his behalf. I feel since both meals were extremely undercooked one of the meals should have been comped. At the very minimum the drinks should have been comped. We had a glass of wine and soda. Manager did offer a dessert. Which I feel is a basic offering. Just to be fair this was one moment. So it's not going to deter us from going back. Only issue is MB raising their level of customer service. Food is 9/10 on par with delivering a quality meal. Stop by I'm sure you will be happy with your choice.
I had been hearing that this place has good Bloody Mary's so I stopped by for some drinks and appetizers. I had a clam chowder which was delicious, half a dozen oysters which were good and two drinks. The bloody was top notch, one of the best bloody Marys I have had in a long time. The other drink was a pineapple mezcal drink which was okay. Nothing special. The waiter on the other hand was friendly and so helpful. I appreciated the service. I will be back to try some of the main dishes. I spent around $70 for two drinks, soup and half a dozen oysters.
The sourdough bread is awesome as a starter. We then had the clam chowder which was also very good. My wife had the Honey Walnet Shrimp Bowl which she said was really good. I had the lunch specials fish and chips which I did not enjoy. My wife also tried them and found them bland. The waitress said they were a very popular item so maybe it was just us. The waitress was very professional and understanding. She took the Fish and Chips off the bill and brought me a complimentary cup of clam chowder. The dining area was clean and not very loud. I'm not sure I will go back, but I wouldn't dissuade anyone else from giving it a try.
We went there for lunch in the middle of the day. There were not a lot of people, but the service was very slow. I got the tuna ahi. It came with so much sauce on the top that I could not taste the tuna, so I would recommend telling them to put the sauce on the side- see picture. There is a parking lot as well as off street parking. Bathrooms were clean. Staff were pleasant.
The lady that sat us was super sweet, greeted us and even held a nice quick convo on our way to the table. The customer service was great, we were served by a young new girl named Erica. She was nice and pleasent, answered all questions and the questions she didn't know the answer to she had no problem with double checking. She started us off with sourdough bread and butter. I immediately knew it was sourdough (which I'm not a fan of) due to the sour taste soon as I took the first bite, it was sent back right away. The food was tasteless, and the portions was super small. The skewers was cooked to perfection, however again, it was also still tasteless and kind of sour, I had to double salt all my food and still made it home to cook something fulfilling. The price for the small portions was giving me michellien restaurant vibes. 2/10 will not be back again.
I left a glowing review for this restaurant about a year ago, but after visiting again two days ago, I’m honestly shocked at how far it’s fallen. I ordered the bass with lemon caper sauce, cheese mashed potatoes, and asparagus. The asparagus was cooked decently, but that’s about the only good thing I can say. The potatoes were dry and flavorless, the fish came out cold, and the sauce had hardened like it had been sitting out for a while. Overall — a complete zero. My fiancée ordered the lobster tail and steak with roasted potatoes and asparagus. Once again, the asparagus was passable, but the rest was a disaster. The potatoes tasted boiled and bland, the steak was mostly fat and clearly reheated, and the lobster tail was chewy like a stick of gum with absolutely no flavor. By the end of the meal, we were just hoping we wouldn’t end up with food poisoning. This was a far cry from the great experience we had before. Whatever changed here, it’s not for the better. Stay away from this establishment at all costs. Honestly, someone like John Taffer from Bar Rescue needs to step in and fix this mess.
