Flipside Gastro Burgers

A very busy little place, great tasty burgers and drinks, a little bit pricey but normal for Broadway area. everything is close and level ground.

Excellent service booked a table on the 4th November for the 5th and then realised that it was bonfire night and we had our very scared of fireworks dog in the campervan. Rang flipside on the afternoon of the 5th to change the order to a takeout which was no problem. I had the Pb&j and rosemary fries, my partner had the Forget the colonel and standard fries. Definitely up there with best burgers I've had 10 out of 10 🍔😋

Wow 🤩 this place is just wow 🤩 the atmosphere is truly incredible, the service was exceptional, we were served by Rhiannon and she made our experience one to remember, she was very attentive, very friendly and always with a smile 😊 the place is very stylish and the music compliments it all! I would definitely recommend this place and look forward of coming back 🙏🏽 and finished our experience with an amazing Sunday

Stopped off during a Cotswolds day out. We love Broadway & found we love this place too. The girls working there were very friendly & welcoming & the service was great. It's really nicely decorated & in a great location. The food is just amazing. The tastiest chips I've even had!! The burger was so tasty too. We will be going back. Highly recommended.

Fantastic burgers, fantastic service. It's a burger restaurant, so focus is on burgers. Accept that and you'll have a great experience. Succulent 7oz burgers, various options from the plain through variety of toppings. Small but tasty direction of starters (wow the Korean chicken has a kick!). Good value, very friendly staff ... A hidden (quite literally behind the wisteria) gem. Don't miss it!!

Such a lovely restaurant! The food is very delicious, especially the plant based burgers. Our fries were nice & salty too, just as they should be :) The service is excellent, the lady who served us was super friendly💗 and our food arrived quickly. The atmosphere is really wholesome as well, I love the background music! Thank you for the great experience xx

I had the Flippin' Hot Chicken which was the best chicken burger I've ever had. The chicken was so crispy and juicy and the combination of flavours all worked together. It is very hot though, just the way I like it. This will definitely be our go-to restaurant whenever we're in Broadway.

We ended up here by accident while on holiday. The food could not have been any better! My husband had a two brothers burger and onion rings, and I had a show me Merck chicken sandwich with slaw. We ordered a side of rosemary fries. BEST CHICKEN SANDWICH EVER. when the waiter says it’s their favorite, listen. We will make this a regular stop when in Broadway.

Came straight from Birmingham to try their delicious burgers and meet these cool guys who run this business. Totally recommend it, cozy place, friendly service, lovely menu with a few burgers - easy to choose. P.S. We arrived late 1h before they close (approx. at 21:00) and they kindly served us, even though it was Friday 30/12!

We managed to get a pick up to eat at home (note they can't always do this, right place right time) and they had been really helpful in sorting this. They called to let me know when to collect, all the food was labeled and in eco friendly packaging. The burgers were great and frys. The onion rings had been well cooked and the slaw was that good my fussy 6 year old ate it!

Great burgers and lovely service. Portion of fries is big enough for two. Great choice for both meat eaters and veggies alike. My only negative is no changing facilities but it’s a small loo in an old building so can understand that!

Super tasty food with genuinely lovely service. Recommend the Lonestar burger and the Cajun fries, no photos though as we wolfed them down, sorry, not sorry!

Great burgers and nice outdoor seating area hidden to the back of the main restaurant. I had the cheese burger, my companion had the very tasty but massive notorious P.I.G. burger

Flipside literally "saved my bacon" by having takeaway option on a slow Sunday summer night: all family was pleased with the burgers, myself I really enjoyed the pictured "Lone Star" that I definitely recommend and by itself - and besides the friendly and helpful staff - justifies your visit

This quaint place in the heart of Broadway is a 5 Star experience. One of, if not the best burgers I’ve ever had. Excellent menu choices for the Burger connoisseur!!

Firstly lovely warm greeting off the 3 girls, lovely room with a great seat area out back. As for the food, magnificent burgers and fries. Highly recommend

We had the best family dinner here last night - the burgers are absolutely delicious, and the service was so friendly and welcoming! It’s a gorgeous dining room and just an overall brilliant set up. We can’t wait to come back!

One of the Best Beef Burgers I've Had! Tried a beef burger in Broadway and it was absolutely delicious! Juicy, flavorful, and perfectly cooked. The meal came with fries and was very satisfying. Highly recommended if you're in the area and craving a great burger!

Waited a while for the food due to a big party before us but worth the wait, burgers were delicious, service was very good, decor very much in line with building adding a modern vibe, highly recommend l!

What Jalapenos? served with Cajun Fries and a side of mixed bean salad Recently was in Broadway in August 2023. Had lunch in Flipside. Not had a Gourmet Burger before but this was excellent, moist and tasty, the Jalapenos provided the right amount of heat for me. Very filling burger. Very good experience and lovely waiting staff at Flipside. They have a garden seating area if you want to be outdoors at the back as well. Would highly recommend.

Service was great, good atmosphere and good food. One thing that I found odd was you are not asked how you like your burger, both our burgers were medium cooked. No pink at all. Something to bear in mind. We enjoyed our meal regardless.

During our visit to the charming village of Broadway, we decided to give Flipside restaurant a try. While our experience was not without its upsides, we left with mixed feelings about the overall dining experience. To start, upon entering the restaurant, we had the impression that we were the first customers of the day. The atmosphere inside was a bit dreary, and the cooking smoke had permeated the air, leaving a slightly off-putting aroma. However, we were optimistic about the meal to come and decided to give it a chance. Unfortunately, the service seemed a bit distracted, and it was clear that the staff could have been more attentive to our needs. This did detract from our experience somewhat, as we felt a bit neglected and not entirely welcome. On a brighter note, the food at Flipside was actually quite good. The menu boasted an array of classic American-style dishes, and our meals were well-prepared and tasty. However, we couldn't help but feel that the prices were not entirely justified, given the overall experience. We were left feeling that the value for money could have been better, and we would have expected more for the price. To give a comparison, Flipside reminded us of Five Guys, with its fast-food-style atmosphere and menu. While we enjoyed the food, we felt that the overall experience and service were lacking, especially given the prices charged. In conclusion, our experience at Flipside was a mixed bag. While the food was good, the atmosphere and service were somewhat disappointing, and the prices felt a bit steep for what was offered. While we cannot deny the quality of the food, we would hesitate to recommend Flipside to others, and there are other dining options in Broadway that may offer a more well-rounded experience.

Really great burgers in a beautiful building with good atmosphere. Service was excellent. Burger options were innovative and delicious.

I wish google allowed for half stars. I think it's a 4.5. Food was fantastic, service was great and overall the atmosphere was good. We sat outside and it was a beautiful day. Really enjoyed it but it was a burger and fries so difficult to mess that up! :)

Lovely burgers and very good service. We were visiting for the weekend and wanted somewhere chilled to visit with our young toddler. The waitresses were very helpful and speedy. However, was quite disappointed with the W.C situation. Only one very small toilet ( not very disabled friendly). I was abit disappointed they had no baby change facilities. Perhaps something to look at in future ? Otherwise a brilliant place.

Creative wall decor with food-themed vinyl records. The burgers were just about average. The service was okay, except that we were kind of forgotten when we asked for the bill and spent 15 minutes just waiting in vain. The cheap plastic tables and chairs in the garden area were disappointing. Hard to say but honestly, this place should make more effort to live up to its ‘gastro’ name and its prices.

Nice place to eat, burger was pretty good but for me was spoiled by the sickly sweet relish added to the burger, would’ve been so much more enjoyable had it not been for the sickly sweet taste & I say that as someone with a sweet tooth!

Fun stop-off for a burger. Very pricey for what was essentially the same as a McDonald’s’Filet O’ Fish’ burger! Nice staff.

The staff were nice enough but the burger was possibly the blandest I've ever had. Dry and fell apart not juicy or having a caramelised crust. Starters were nice enough. Desperately need some direction for the very young staff.

Firstly, it's a burger, just get on with it. Slow service all round and food took 20mins or so to arrive. Cotswold pace, perhaps? Maybe I'm too impatient. The burger itself is average at best. I've made better at home. It's rather dry, despite what the menu says about a 7oz burger being more moist. Burger sauce is too sweet, too much and overpowering. Bun cold to the touch. Chips are fine but nothing dramatic. SFC is a Southern fried chicken fillet sliced up. On lettuce. Makes me think of a cheap kebab shop in [any student town]. Halloumi sticks are ok but wouldn't do it again. Overall, avoid. £60 for 2 (two!) burgers and 3 sides is a shocker (drinks are pricey). Plenty of decent eateries in Broadway. Heading further afield, try Beefy Boys - even Five Guys offers better. Service charge of 10% automatically applied though this is taken off without fuss. Service is inoffensive, and inefficient.

Burger very dry, ( surf n turf ), Prawns were over done, hard…. Fries cold & hard…. Rose wine & server good Ambiance & location good Chef needs a reset & needs to step back & start again guys !!!!

So disappointed.... I'd been looking forward to trying Flipside's burgers for so long as they've got pretty good reviews... we ordered click and collect last night, which was a smooth process and the food was ready to collect on time. We had a flipping massive, a what jalapeños, fries and a side of Korean spicy bites. My partner's jalapeños burger was good but the burgers on my flipping massive were over cooked and dry... not the tasty, juicy, dirty burger I'd been expecting. So disappointing

I'm really not sure how this place has such good reviews. We had the korean bites to start, which where nice, however a tiny portion. We also had the Mozzarella sticks, which were probably the worst Mozzarella sticks I've ever had. Both starters were definitely frozen food. I had the the chicken burger which again was definitely frozen. Tasted and looked like a birds eye burger. I was 3 others who had beef, which said there's was a bit better than my chicken. However, they brought 3 of our meals out and we was told the other meal was coming. After 10 minutes we literally had to ask where the food was as we was trying to wait for our friend. Staff didn't seem fussed at all, and we had finished our meal by the time there's had arrived. No apology, explanation or discount. Poor service and poor food.

Attention dog owners, this place is not dog friendly, as stated online. It's only suitable for pets when the outdoor seating is available which, as we know, is a rarity in England. I had heard great things about this spot and traveled with my dog, but unfortunately we couldn’t enjoy.

I can only comment on the service, as we didn’t actually get to eat. We arrived for the 12pm opening and were told it would be a five‑minute wait, which was completely fine. However, we ended up standing outside until 12:30 with a four‑year‑old, without any update, before deciding to go elsewhere. We understand that places can run behind, but being left outside for half an hour with no communication was really disappointing

After sitting down at the white plastic furniture in the garden, we asked if we could order some drinks. The waitress took one persons order then tried to walk away, we had to call her back to take the rest of our tables orders. They only serve a limited drinks menu of bottles hear and was £6.50 for a bulmers.. service was slow and we'd almost finished our second drink by the time the food arrived. The squid was chewy, although the garnish was nice. The burgers had nice toppings but the burger itself was nothing special and needed more seasoning. The final disappointment was when we got the bill and they had added a £11.20 service charge. We wouldn't of mind being asked of we would like to tip.. we wouldn't have mind if we got great service, but we didn't! We won't be returning to the premises in future even though we only live 6miles away.

Was going to try this place as I heard great reviews but backed away after I saw how they treated another group ahead of me. Heard them immediately turn away the family asking to be served and said that it was 'going to get busy' when I could see that the place had plenty of space and remained that way when I walked past later in the day. This was definitely discriminatory and racially movitated. No reasonable explanation was given to the family and we were disgusted by their treatment and walked away as soon as we saw the mistreatment. I hope no one experiences this ever, especially when people were excited to visit.
