My friend and I came because we heard their chicken and waffles were spectacular and it did not disappoint. Everything tastes amazing. They have the best fried chicken that I've ever had to date (and trust me, I've had lots of fried chicken ). The limited edition Carrot Cake Waffles were fantastic as well. The flavors were all there without it being overly sweet. The 3 piece bucket was awesome as well, with fairly large wings that were fried and seasoned perfectly. The drinks were both PHENOMENAL. We had the Strawberry Frozen and the Whiskey Peach Can, and both were just so delicious and refreshing. The only thing we weren't a big fan of was the butter included for the biscuits. It was a bit too sweet. Maybe it's just me, but I didn't like the way it paired with the food. Portions and pricing was great, especially considering we were in the Union Square area of Manhattan. One thing to note is that this location doesn't have waiter service; you order and choose your seating, and then pick up your order when they call your name. Nothing wrong with this approach, but we had expected to have a waiter. Regardless of this, the customer service was amazing. The staff were attentive and welcoming, and worked diligently.

the staff was so friendly and nice! I got chicken and waffles. the strawberry butter was soooooo good. 10/10. waffles were so nice and soft 8/10. and chicken was 7/10 just a LITTLE salty but it was nice! I also got a mango passion fruit drink, it was pretty sweet so if you’re not into sweet stuff this isn’t for you lol. and some loaded fries. best part. love love love.

St. New York, NY 10003 Chicken Sausage, Egg and Cheese Buttermilk Biscuit Classic Chicken & Waffles Located in Union Square is a southern style chain restaurant directly across the street from Union Square Park. Let’s explore a couple of the brunch menu items. Chicken Sausage, Egg and Cheese Buttermilk Biscuit: This breakfast sandwich was topped with melted cheddar cheese, an egg white, and a sausage patty on a gigantic biscuit sprinkled with sea salt. The cheddar could have been melted a bit more, but this sandwich was overall decent Classic Chicken & Waffles: This signature brunch plate includes three boneless chicken tenders along with honey and berry butter. There is more than a fair share of powdered sugar. The tenders are crunchy on the outside while tender and juicy on the inside. Don’t be shy with the syrup; the more the merrier. This was definitely my favorite meal of the two. On a positive note, complimentary water is provided. However, I couldn’t purchase a frozen alcoholic beverage because they are always out of stock. A variety of apparel is available for purchase which includes sweatshirts, canvas bags, and kicks. Feel free to purchase apparel ranging from hats to sweatshirts. As a bonus, this chain restaurant has an enclosed indoor hallway which effectively keeps the cold air out during the chillier months. The atmosphere and music at this location is awesome! The workers were really chill and nice too and gave me recommendations of what to get. Their sandwiches were delicious, I got the Nashville Hot and it was spicy and well cooked. Also their hush puppies are so good with their remoulade sauce. My friend got the wings and said they were tough though, so I would be cautious about ordering those.

This is at their Union Square location. It is set up like a regular fast-food joint, with order/pick up counter, and table seating. Not so big, but had enough seating. The staff at the ordering counter, Marcus, was welcoming and very helpful. Since it was my first time visiting, he gave me good advice and made sure I was happy with my order. We ordered The Original Chicken & Waffles, and Chicken & Fries, and a couple of their Daily Lemonades. I chose Peach Nectar Lemonade and Mango Nectar Lemonade, and the mango one had stronger flavor, and it tasted like made with real fruits. Chicken & Fries It comes with 2pc. bone-in or 3pc. boneless chicken. Marcus told me that 3pc is like chicken tenders, and I chose the 3pc thinking that it is easier to eat. I asked Marcus which sauce flavor is his favorite, and he said Maple Chipotle is the best. He also asked me if I wanted the sauce on the side for dipping, instead of the chicken being coated in it. He told me that is how he prefers, so I went with that recommendation. He was so helpful with my order, making sure I was taken care of and happy with what I was getting. The Maple Chipotle sauce was really delicious. Sweet with a nice kick to it. Chicken was tender and moist, juicy with nice crunchy exterior. I was happy to see the side of fries being the crinkle cut fries, reminded me of the good old days... They were soft, potato-y, and very tasty. My husband was excited for The Original Chicken & Waffles. He chose the sauce flavor and waffles, which was both available with additional cost. He went with Maple Chipotle flavor sauce and Bacon Cheddar Specialty Waffles. And we got this one with 2pc. bone-in pieces. The bone-in chicken pieces were definitely more flavorful. It had that deep, savory flavor that you can only get with the bone-in chicken. And they were super juicy delicious! I think the chicken does not need any extra flavor added, since it was tasty on its own. Same can be said for the waffles. The waffles were tasty on its own, so I don't think the sprinkles of bacon and cheese was not necessary. Their special butter, however, was amazing! It was Honey and Berry Butter, and that was super awesome! Our first trip to the Sweet Chick was a success! Thank you Marcus for making our visit easy and tasty. We enjoyed our orders, definitely bone-in chicken, and don't need additional fancy flavors... Or maybe get one side of Maple Chipotle sauce to dip in. Speaking of chicken, they offer Vegetarian Chicken too! So if you are in a mood for some fried chicken dishes that are kind of southern style for quick, try the Sweet Chick!

Wet cute inside. The staff was friendly and helped guiding me through the menu. I did have to wait a bit for my order so definitely set time aside or order ahead if you’re in a time crunch or on your lunch break. The Brussel sprouts are so good that I ate them all before I could even take a picture! The chicken sandwich also very good and fried to perfection. The fries were good but nothing special. I definitely want to be back to try their ice cream for desert. The only reason why I’m taking off a star is because of the pricing. I understand that this location, everything is expensive. I just felt like I was paying restaurant prices for a place that is fast food. Other than that, it was great! Will definitely be back.

Food is decent but seemed pretty overpriced to me. Have had chicken and waffles from other places at a much lower price point and better quality as well. Seems pretty overpriced to me after taking that into consideration, probably wouldn't go back because of that

The food was ok. The service was good. The atmosphere was alright. I dined in. The pricing was outrageous. How do you charge an operational fee? I'm paying an additional fee on top of my food for you to stay in business? That's what it seems like. Anyway, I ordered the cinnamon apple waffle with 2 pieces of bone in chicken (fried chicken wing and thigh). I got the meal and they gave me their honey berry butter that was good. The maple syrup was terrible. I love syrup so I dont know what happened here (maybe it just didn't go right with my particular order). I ordered the garlic sauce on the side and that was good. I don't like that they don't have their nutritional information up on their website.

The wait staff was questionable. Only one girl was actually working while the other seemed like I was bothering her. There is an operating surcharge that is outrageous. The waffle was amazing! Perfectly cooked. Crispy n fluffy at the same time. The chicken was okay. However, the mac n cheese was the most bland mac n cheese I ever had in my life. Barely seasoned at all. Becareful with you sauce choice because thr staff doesn't explain if they are spicy or not. The honey garlic still had a small kick to it.

The place is bright and spacious. Things moved along pretty fast. The main ingredients here are fried chicken or grilled chicken. The fried chicken has a thick coating and the meat was a little flaky. You can order the protein alone. The chicken had to be in sandwich, with waffle, with fries or over salad. Definitely not a healthy choice place. One time experience. Outdoor seating is a plus though.

Wasn’t a fan. No sauce comes with the chick bucket and the breading was way too thick on the chicken. An operating surcharge randomly gets added when you order without any notice which feels very deceptive. Just feel like it was expensive hot chicken despite it being worse quality than the other options

I’ve been going to Sweet Chick for years. They used to be great, but the newish Union Square spot doesn't hold up. I live five blocks away, and they still can’t get a warm chicken sandwich and fries to my door. It always shows up cold and soggy, even though they charge for delivery. Feels like they’ve taken their eye off the ball and expanded too fast. When you can’t get your own signature dish right and send it a few blocks away, that says a lot.
