Sports on TV and Jazz in the corner...win win. Great selection of spirits and beers on tap. Mike the bartender seems like a good guy to boot.
really cool place, bartender was super nice would defend drink here again
Great local spot with variety of options for drinks. Snacks limited to super tasty pizzas oh and trivia night for the competitive crowd- great hosts and questions
Great beer selection. Friendly staff and owners. There is a backyard space but I didn’t get to check it out. It looks nice, though. Plus there is a dart board. The dart board could use a proper light set up because it’s currently kind of glaring if you are on the sides. Thats really a minor issue.
Several selections to choose from and friendly/efficient staff. I loved the small town bar feel in a big city. I’m glad I stumbled upon this place!
What a great place! I was meeting a couple of people from my Reddit group. The atmosphere the beer and ale selections were perfect. And Mike the bartender is THE BEST. I I immediately felt at home . Seems like such a great guy. I don’t go to bars often but if I did this would be my regular go to place 100%
This place is my jam. Not only is it the coolest Bills bar in the city, but it has the best owners and employees. Mike & Diana have been so kind, generous and amazing to get to know. As well as Sam! What a gem of a human. I love coming into the bar for bills games of course! Go bills! But also to just hang around for a wonderful neighborhood atmosphere. Their hot dogs are wonderful & their beer list is unmatched. Go check them out if you’re in the area :)
This was a very nice place to hang out with friends and family, so of my coworkers and I went and the food and service was good they need to improve on the quality of the drinks ,happy hour is the way to go
The ambiance is incredible and it is a nice place to hang out and have good drinks. It’s just a shame that tonight, there was a bartender who was very short with my group, even though we were not excessively loud or drunk. He charged us for things we did not buy and he refused to serve us for asking about the charges. It’s a shame that such a nice night was dampened by such rude service but I would still go again because it was so pretty.
These ppl are so nasty, I asked how many beers I was charged for and apparently that is offensive, I paid the entire tab w no problem for myself and my male friend. I just didn't realize there was $10 charge for gratuity already added in and had intended to give them $55 regardless but thought that I was charged for a second beer. At no point was I rude or nasty, that is not who I am.As a bar owner if ppl would like to see or have a copy of the receipt it's NOT offensive but apparently these ppl are that fragile. They were also upset that I paid w a card as opposed to cash. (At which point she pointed her finger at me and said YOU but didn't finish. When I returned they screamed at me as though I had violated or NOT paid. I can not believe fellow business owners behave in such a deplorable desperate manner and am embarrassed for them. ESPECIALLY being that I am from downtown Buffalo and so is my dad whom before becoming an eye surgeon, post Vietnam, was the manager and head bartender for the most famous bar out of Buffalo, the Ancher bar, where buffalo wings were founded... With that said these ppl are NOT representing Buffalo aside from hosting the games, sad and despicable.
The worst service I have ever experienced in my life. I felt extremely discriminated against and targeted. Out of a group of people the waiter’s assumed that we wouldn’t tip and I can’t attribute it to any other reason than us being black. To be so singled out and the butt of some miserable waitresses racist joke in BEDSTUY in 2025 so boldly I honestly almost couldn’t believe it. The neighbor I've grown up in my entire life. When I went to speak to the manager they were even worse than the waitress ignoring her behavior and acting as if we were the problem. This was all in a matter of 10 minutes at this place. I couldn’t even get my food without dealing with racism in a bar in my neighborhood. Worst bar I’ve ever been to.
Please do not patronize this establishment, was here earlier this evening with some friends and witnessed a bartender telling all the patrons that were brown that they had to tip or she would not serve them. However, the patrons who were not melanated did not receive the same treatment. The blatant racism was so clear and evident. I am beyond disgusted.
I am a Brooklyn native and it is sad when people who have no real intent to connect with a community that they are serving. I had the most racist experience all because I didn't tip at the bar. First of all, tipping is voluntary and second of all the bartenders attitude was so nasty to my friends that it made me not want to tip. We all had to leave because of how racist it was and the owners were excusing the bartenders behavior. NEVER AGAIN.
Came in to use the bathroom. The bartender said it’s for customers only to which I asked for a soda (which I was planning to give away immediately). I used the bathroom and 10 steps out of the door realized I left my phone. When I came back and opened the bathroom, I got screamed at by a patron at the bar (probably a woman on the spectrum) to which the bartender told her she’s just looking for her phone. It was super embarrassing being the only not white person and being yelled at. I don’t get an apology or anything despite my politeness. I like bars that look like this but this comes with the prejudice and screaming patrons
Blatant Racism and Discrimination at Fulton Ale House I recently had an appalling experience at Fulton Ale House that reeked of blatant racism and discrimination against people of color. Upon arriving before the Champions League game started, I was simply waiting for friends at the bar when the owner, a white woman, aggressively approached me and the gentleman of color sitting beside me. She rudely demanded that we immediately purchase drinks and not just "sit around", despite not making similar demands of the white patrons who had been sitting longer without drinks. It was clear we were being singled out solely due to the color of our skin. This was an outright racist attack masked as a policy that was only being enforced against the minority customers present. The discrimination continued even after my friends arrived and we had purchased four drinks. The bartender then began screaming at us that we couldn't watch the game for "free", again treating us completely differently than the white patrons. The staff's hostile, aggressive, and demeaning behavior towards us as people of color was absolutely unacceptable and inexcusable. We were clearly profiled and discriminated against based on race from the moment we entered the establishment. I would urge anyone who believes in equality and has zero tolerance for racism to avoid Fulton Ale House at all costs. Support businesses that treat all customers with dignity and respect regardless of skin color. Racist policies and behavior like this should not be tolerated or enabled.
