I can tell it was great. whatever you expected, it could meet perfectly. I tried a sweetpotato cheese katsu and my husband tried a spicy katsu; Both were great. The shape of sweetpotato cheese katsu was different from what i ate in Korea. But the taste was same or batter. I sincerely recommend this place!!!

this place is seriously a hidden gem; came with my friends to eat dinner and ordered the curry chicken katsu and soba. the seasoning in the katsu was perfect; the outside crust was super crispy while the chicken inside was juicy. the selling point was the katsu sauce, matched well with the chicken katsu. the soba noodles were perfectly cooked too. i would definitely recommend this place to anyone who wants eat pretty good katsu in oc!

My go-to takeout spot for their soba donkatsu combo! Their bento boxes always come neatly packed with perfect portions. Located in a Korean market plaza with decent parking, though it gets busy. Staff is always friendly. Cozy vibe inside.

Delicious thick slice of Katsu that was juicy on inside and crispy on the outside. Had the katsu set with curry. The corn appetizer is also a must try. The fact it's grilled along with seasoning o top made it taste so flavorful. On contrary the Katsu sandwich could use a nicer toast (maybe warmer or better texture). Also if the store owner sees this, pls put a more visible restaurant sign or else hard to find Katsu+curry ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Grilled Corn⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Katsu Sando⭐⭐

This place did not appear automatically on Google Maps and we just saw it in the area. But so glad we did! Got the donkatsu (Donkkaseu) combo with soba. Portions were pleasantly larger than expected and we felt contently full afterwards. The katsu was fried perfectly and had a nice crunch! The donkatsu had lots of meat, and there were also side dishes that came with the meal! It definitely felt like we got our value's worth.

Hands down amazing katsu curry. Not only was the food amazing but the service was outstanding. I felt as if I was transported into another country. No judgement when I asked what everything was and how to eat it. Felt very comfortable would definitely come back.

The food is great, Donkatsu is really crispy and juicy. Soba is firm and good. However, I did not expect that the dipping sauce for soba a bit too sweet for me. Overall, I really enjoyed the meal. :)

Their katsu is one of the best I've had: crispy on the outside, tender and juicy on the inside, and good sauce. Portions are good too, though it went down slightly but since it tastes so good, it's still worth it. The hamburg steak on the other hand, was mediocre at best. They said they were trying a new recipe so that's probably why. The meat was almost too soft to the point of being stew like but it was the taste that ruined it. The ground beef was cooked to medium-rare and that just doesn't work in hamburg steaks. Spices and herbs used in it didn't help either. And for those wondering about the bathroom cleanliness, it's probably the cleanest around anywhere. Overall, I still totally recommend this place (sans the Hamburg steak) because their katsu is one of the best around!

I always enjoy my meal here. The restaurant is always hot. Please make it a little cooler. The food is always delicious.

Came here for lunch and was greeted by a friendly staff. The food was okay and portions a bit small for what you pay for. Regardless, the donkatsu was crispy and the pork was tender; however, rather thin. Not entirely sure I would come here again, mainly due the the pricing.

so ever since covid i've been ordering from here frequently and today there was a piece of hair stuck underneath my katsu...very disappointing....used to be 5 stars.....its a shame really....no matter how the food tastes finding hair left and right is kinda disturbing no? not too sure if i would order from here again.
