Always consistently delicious! Large combo is our go to. I miss the salad bar but it's par for the course these days. They had a great pre made house salad in its place.

I love coming here to eat and relax, the staff is so nice and pizza,sandwiches are great. The one trip salad bar is more than enough to fill up on and delicious. There is a area in back with a few arcade games, I go play pac man and eat lunch! Good times...

We were visiting from Nevada stopped here for dinner. Can't say enough how delicious this pizza is!!! Even my picky eater kids loved the pizza. You gotta try this place, only sad we don't live close so we can come back again and again.

I’m on a solo work trip, making it a habit to sample pizza from all across the country. Although I don’t frequently write reviews, this place deserved an exception - their pizza is extraordinarily good. I opted for the petite pepperoni, which, in hindsight, I should have upsized given its deliciousness. However, the fact that I’m full is a testament to its satisfying quality. I find myself in this town every year for work, and I’m delighted to have discovered my new favorite local pizza joint.

Awesome pizza! We've been coming to Village Host for over 20 years and we have never been disappointed! The veggie pizza is my favorite; my family also loves the combo pizza, and the cheese burgers are fantastic!! The restaurant is warm, inviting and very family friendly, and the take out/delivery service is both professional and on time. Simply put, this is the best pizza ever!!

Village Host Pizza is our go to place for parties especially for kids birthdays. The pizza is consistently great and the staff is friendly, helpful and professional.

Came in from out of town with the family. The pics shown are what drew me, and location to our hotel. Pizza was hot and great. Flavor was awesome, crust was good. Also had their pesto bread with cheese. Had a half Hawaiian/half combo. Salad bar was chopped iceberg lettuce. Overall good experience! Would

I've been coming to Village Host for about 20 years. It has always been one of my favorite places to go for pizza in the Peninsula. The pizza has a great sauce, the cheese is a nice mixture of cheeses including cheddar which most pizza places don't use and the home made ranch sauce is the best. Some people complain that the crust is too hard but that is actually one of my favorite parts of Village Host pizza. I hate NY pizza that is super thin and flops down when you pick it up. The service is decent. Price is fair. Definitely recommend it.

Good pizza but can be a long wait if you're dining in. They get a lot of neighborhood takeout orders. Expect lots of little kids coming out of soccer or little league practice and running around squealing. Read: this place is not for romantic dates :) Salad bar is meh.

I continue to love this place but unfortunately it seems there might have been a change in the polish sausage use. Have you changed it? I'm really hoping it's temporary, and they being the old polish sausage back, but give this place a try! It's super good and always has had such great people working here.

This is a 3.5 stars review! Not the most authentic pizza for sure, maybe because it reminded me of pizza from back home (Lebanon), but I liked it. The crust is thick and very doughy. The combination has almost everything on it, in a very generous way. It kinda feels like a homemade pizza, not perfect but definitely comforting. The Hawaiian pizza was also good, nothing great but again very comforting. I personally didn't like the burger sandwich, the patty lacked seasoning and it felt small in the sandwich. If you live nearby and want a very hearty pizza, without waiting long, in a very low key place than this place is for you. But I wouldn't drive all away to Burlingame to have it

Good, old-fashioned pizza joint. Order your pizza and drinks at the counter, scout out a free table or booth, and watch every kid in the joint mob the video game arcade at the back while they wait for their food. The pizza itself is good though not outstanding. Salads are only from the salad bar which doesn't seem to get much use and always feels a bit stale. Overall, a good no-frills pizza dinner, especially if you have the kids in tow.

Old fashioned neighborhood pizza parlor. Nice location on downtown Broadway Ave. Pizza is okay, but could use a little more soul, I.e. dough, grease, salt. The crust is crispy liked a baked cracker which is neither bad nor good but it's a signature style. Toppings are satisfactory as well. They serve beer and soda at a separate counter/bar. There's also a salad bar but without a sneeze guard. I want to love this as a neighborhood joint because of its long history in the area and probably a nostalgic place for many locals but the pizza is just underwhelming. Good meal when I was hungry, but no return trip.

Nice host and friendly service but the veggie pizza is unfortunately mediocre at best. Very cheesy but doesn't taste like much. Baby chair available (but broken belt).

The pizza is really good and happy with the main service. Only issue that happens if you order a small meal you can never tell when it is ready. You number never gets called and you wide up waiting 30 to 40 minutes and then have to get in line to ask for the status. By then your meal is not fully hot.

Ordered a sandwich; it took 30 minutes to make. Other people that came after me ordered pizzas and left before I did. Furthermore the person who oversees the oven touches the food items in the oven and touching/grabbing counter itens without washing hands, thus cross contaminating food.

Pizza here is really good, I grew up visiting three of their peninsula locations. I had a terrible customer service experience last night (5/10/23) at the Broadway location. My girlfriend and I walked in at 8:35pm, I was told by a young blonde lady at the register that they had no more pizza because they close at 9 pm. I asked if I could order to go, she denied me pizza to go and made it seem as though they didn't have pizza making capabilites 25 minutes before they close... I hope management/ownership sees this review so they can be made aware that their employees conduct themselves this way and turn away business well before closing.

Pizza is meh. We ordered light cheese and well done but it definitely was not cooked that way. Pepperonis tasted strange.

Food is not good at all. The location is awesome and I wish they did better with the food. It would make it a no brainer to go to this place. I wonder how they are still in business.

Very bad service. Came in here and ordered a large hawaiian. Waited 40 min and still no pizza. Everyone else who ordered after me received and ate their pizza. Meanwhile, I was waiting with both my children getting ansy. Well, I finally decided to go check on the status of my order. To my surprise they told me they had burned my pizza and had to put another one in the oven. After being there for an hour I decided to ask for a refund. So, all the guys attending were to busy talking and watching football that they neglected our order to the point of BURNING the pizza. Well, never again will I be going here. Very bad service.

We came here with higher hopes. It had 4.1 stars overall and a 5 star review from a family. We ordered a simple pepperoni pizza. The crust was so hard and gross it reminded me of Chuck e cheese. The toppings were good. The sauce was okay. The service was okay. But nothing about this place deserves more than 3 stars. We are highly dissapointed. My toddler couldn't even actually eat the pizza because the crust is too hard. Gross! 😝

I obviously got mad about this terrible service and asked how they could do such a poor customer service , some young teen apologized with attitude and as i was exiting, the same teenager cursed at me using the F word with some racist words. Not only i will leave this review i will escalate this to Burlingame city hall labor department!
