The service is phenomenal. The food is to die for. Great spot for late night bite and good place to get a taste of the local wines. Will definitely be back.
Good food, great drinks. Very attentive friendly staff. Comfortable bar. Unique menu. All in all it's a big yessss!
Great happy hour. Sliders are delicious and they have Mumm Napa bubbles for $7 a glass. Can sit outside or inside.
Great local favorite! I love going here for their happy hour...*try their daily special tacos*..I never leave hungry! They also carry my favorite hard cider, a long with SO many great *local* wines..plus the service there is so welcoming!
They’ve got this Porter from a local Calistoga brew that tastes like the best milk stout I’ve had. As a dark beer connoisseur, I admit I’m very impressed. Their happy hour prices are half normal prices, which seems like a steal, especially just moving from San Francisco. I’ll become a regular here.
We’ve been in the area for three days. And we’ve eaten all our meals in restaurants. We wandered into Jonny’s today and had a great meal with attentive, excellent service. Unlike our dinner at Lovina two nights ago, the oysters were very very good and were delivered to the table promptly after ordering. It was obvious that one of the gentlemen behind the bar was an owner. Unlike every other restaurant in the area, including Bottega, his demeanor made it obvious that he appreciates every customer. The attitude was refreshing. Also, they have another restaurant next door, and we were able to order off that menu too. Which was great. The grilled octopus was delicious (as were the bar snacks we had - fries and the tacos of the day). Just after happy hour ended, a couple walked in. Though they missed the time cutoff, they seemed to be folks who’d had a tough time lately. The co owner gladly made an exception for them. He didn’t have to, and they weren’t pushing. He just did it. I’d happily return and heartily recommend Jonnys.
Really Loved this place. "Straight up east coast food." Says my friends from Princeton Juction "9". The owner was from junction "7". Dan is the owner. Food "right on". We had the buffalo wings.(not frozen) excellent food, "death and taxes"black larger. Artichoke hearts. Very good. Good sports memobillia, good music. Good atmosphere, not too loud.
Best Happy Hour in town... good food for reasonable price, cocktails at reasonable price, and their house brews are excellent... and only 3 bucks at happy hour? Count me in! (Their pilsner was one of the best I have had) It's sort of an "upscale sportsbar" vibe, and we have been regularly going out on Mondays to watch the NFL games (in St. Helena), so might have to switch our spot to Johnnys
Really enjoyed the place. The bartender/waiter was very helpful and made and explained all his recommendations. They had a fun menu with Duck and few other interesting items. The place was clean and the service was very good.
They claim their dishes are inspired by the rich cultural diversity that is Napa Valley. Their wines are lesser known labels from all around California and the larger world. Plus, charcuterie and cheeses are prepared at a bar (so sit at the bar if that's what you're after). The atmosphere is clean lines, soft lofted music, and candles. The result is a relaxed, delicious experience. A great addition to the Calistoga restaurant lineup.
New favorite reasonably priced restaurant for a family dinner in Calistoga. The mini corn dogs were freshly made to order. The pork schnitzel was delicious. The nachos were impressive. Mainly locals. Sports bar vibe but elevated food. Friendly staff
Great place to enjoy the evening. They have local bands playing. The food is great.
Hey, looking for a place you can grab a bite and a cocktail delight? You can go big ol’ burger or maybe just grab an app of deviled eggs. Or maybe you’re like me who’s feeling the chicken Cobb salad which is what I got and it SATISFIED. The crowd here is great. I had a delightful time chit chatting with another brewski loving bro and trading war stories of life in Cali. If you’re in Calistoga, head to Johnny’s!
Fantastic!! Happy hour is A-MAZING! The sliders, omg.. do yourself a favor and get one of each. You will not be disappointed. In fact, you won't be disappointed with anything you order. We practically ordered one of everything off the menu and were pleased with everything... wide selection of drinks too. Ask Luigi the bar manager to make a bartenders choice. He asked us a few questions to see what our interests were and whipped something up that was devine! Mike the manager and Luigi are the definition of hospitality and customer service. Be sure to check out this gem!
Sunday Breakfast ton a wet day turned out fantastic. great service. food and friedly staff. eggs to order.. avacado toast topped with Irish coffee.
Great local pub. Had the fried pickles it was amazing and so was the surf and turf burger. Chatted with the owner for a bit. Cool little bar to watch sports enjoy an adult beverage and get some food.
The breakfast wrap was great, I even swiped some of my son's sandwich. Fast and Hot food even Tv's for my Saturday Morning College Football fix.

Mixed experiences - one day the service was friendly and they made suggested modifications for the choices for food and drink personalizing the experience. The next time I felt I was being processed by a low moral fast-food joint. Many of the bar choices for food are worth trying!
I was in town with my girlfriend for our 6th annual visit to Indian spings down the road and we're looking for a place near by with the NFL ticket and found Johnnys. I got pancakes, she got a breakfast burrito and it was all really good. I tried one of the pilsners that was on tap, it was too lemony for me so ended up with a classic cold pbr instead. She got a bloody mary that was spicy & delicious. We will be back to watch the Patriots again next year... hopefully they play better then.
Great central location. Food was yummy. Actual anchovies in my Caesar Salad. Cocktails are strong and delicious. ☺️
My bestie and I decided to give this place a try today. We like to try places we've never been. The courtyard was lovely, the staff friendly, and my food was delicious. I had the crab risotto and it was phenomenal. Creamy, slightly tangy, and nice large chunks of crab. My friend had the hamburger. She wasn't super happy with it. She said it wasn't worth the money paid for it, and $2 extra for a little slice of cheese was outrageous. So, one star off for her being unhappy. We also had tater tots. They were so crispy! I would absolutely come back again. My food was delicious. I thought the price point was fair for being in the Napa valley.
By far the best tomato soup we've ever had. The bar tender was super fri ndly, good conversation and wine recommendations. We tried the beef carpaccio and raw oysters as well.

Very good food last night, friendly staff. We ordered the Cubano, which was good but kinda wish the french bread was pressed like a traditional Cubano. The side of tots with cheese and chili was very good. We also ordered the tomato salad which was very good but seriously missing an appropriate amount of mozzarella, should have been about half the price for what was on there but the flavor was good.
Food was good and service was great but the prices at the restaurant did not match the prices on their website. That difference was the only reason they lost a star for me. The fried pickles and the spinach dip were both extremely good and I would recommend.

I'm giving three stars because I cannot attest to the food, but honestly with attitude like this, I am surprised they have the star rating they do. "You can yelp that", "we are a French bistro" x3, " I am not going to cock block a table". These were exact quotes from the waiter/server/hostess, I don't know. Either way, this attitude was so off putting that we decided this place does not deserve our time or money. For the prices, this type of attitude is unacceptable. Whoever this guy is, he needs to work on his delivery of his business. And I would say, whoever his boss is, needs to examine this behavior. Needless to say, we will be going elsewhere.
I ordered a burger there and it has no salt or flavor i had too add loads of salt and even after that it still had no taste . Gave me a stomach ache, and on top of that the manager was very rude too me and my wife. Never coming here again.
Service was less than stellar until I peaked the bartenders interest in whiskey. Fish and chips were average. Swapped the fries with tots. Has a good selection of whiskey and bourbon. Small places which is cozy
This restaurant/bar seems to share a kitchen with another restaurant/bar. We ordered for pick up the last hour they were open so I think staff was tired because they were not very friendly. And they didn't give me my change back. would have still given them a tip just didn't appreciate that they didn't give me the opportunity to chose. Food was decent though. Tator totes were delicious.

Art Deco style bar near an Art Deco themed hotel. Service was good. The only disappointing thing was the absence of even medium shelf liquor. Looking for Bacardi, Tanqueray, Wild Turkey, or even Jim Beam? Nope, they gave none of that. All no-name spirits. The bathtub gin era of the 1920's is gone, for a reason.

Got the steak and fries. The fries were hot, fresh, and tasty. The steak (which I ordered medium rare) was a hockey puck. Genuinely bad and overcooked. It was late and service was so slow, I didn't bother asking for a new steak. Probably a fine bar - wouldn't go again.
Mehh.... This place seems confused. Is it a sports bar? a dance club? or a fine dinning experience? My kids $4 lemonade was the same price as my beer. The wives $21 lasagna was 5 flat pieces and my dish may or may not have gave me the sh!ts. Either way, if you are with kids It'd be a strong pass for me. Overall the worst dinning we had while in Nappa Valley :(
First off our waitor attempted to fix our issues but with an attitude while correcting the bill. We just got done hiking twelve miles and the four of us were starving. Seriously, anything would satisfy a hungry hiker... except the way this meal went.... We ordered appetizers and drinks. Both my friend and I ordered habenero mango margaritas and got regular margaritas. We asked for guacamole on the side of the nacho order since our friend has a severe allergy to avacado. It came covered in it and the chef that delivered it said he would fox it and never did. My husband ordered sliders as a dinner and it came as an appetizer. On top of that there was a bone or something extremely hard in one of the beef sliders. He ordered four and three only came out. The waitor eventually brought one more and then tried to charge us for four after they originally only gave him three. We are really disappointed as we were looking forward to good food and service as this area is supposed to have the best alcohol and food in the area. We were disappointed and won't return. If your looking for something good to eat and good service. Try somewhere else.
The omelette is 11 dollars for nothing. Whatever you add for the omelette, this is gonna be extra charge. Spinish 1 dollar, tomato 1 dollar etc. do not worth.

Lots of yelling. Rude service from the bartender/server. It wasn't that busy and they were super slow with everything. The food was mediocre and the drink i got was weak. The Italian beef sandwich was not right at all and was overpriced.

From Sacramento , burger was too big I asked for my burger to be cooked WELL DONE it was bleeding from the middle 🤢 & +I have stomach issues so wouldn’t really recommend for sensitive groups maybe other dishes are ok I’m not sure
Absolutely asinine restaurant management. I book a reservation for four, but find out the reservation is "at the bar" - not in the bar area (which would have been fine). The problem is that my party included two children who cannot be "at the bar" under CA law. Who books reservations at the bar? So we are told we can't be seated... no attempt to rectify the situation whatsoever. Just a "sorry"
Says open til 10. Walked in to an open door at 9:10pm and asked the bartender if they were still serving food… “Sorry, we’re closed..” — but for the 7 tables still eating and talking. In a town where everything closes at 9, don’t say you’re open til 10 if you aren’t. Not impressed.
Totally bad experience. The published happy hour was not honored because the warriors game was going to be broadcasts. I guess they wanted to max. their revenue, but it does say a lot about the owners customer good will, or lack there of. Bartenders with - want to be - tough guy attitudes (I guess they think this makes them "cool" / it doesn't). Management not any better, stay away - not worth it. pathetic.
If I could give zero stars, I would. We sat at the bar for 30 min with the server telling us "you're next", while passing by us and chitchatting with other tables while we didn't even get a glass of water. Maybe non locals are not welcome (they heard us asking for a non local team to watch).
Bartenders are very rude and racist. I wouldn't go here if you are a person of color. Walked in after a spa experience and saw that there was about 4 couples eating (all white) the guy turned around and shouted the kitchen closed before me and my boyfriend could even asked a question. I went to speak again and he shouted again I said the kitchen is closed but everyone just was served there food when we stepped in. Its 2019 get over yourselfs! Never spend my money anywhere were not welcome!
My wife and I were staying in Calistoga and walked past. I saw the game on tv and thought it would be a great place for some drinks and dinner. Place was empty. We waited about ten minutes before anyone greeted us with menus and take our drink order. Took forever to get my wife an iced tea. They never returned. We left without ordering. Don't waste your time- if I could give them zero rating I would.
I ordered the fish and chips. The fish was overdone and the fries were cold. The fish I think is pre-made and served when ordered. Fish and chips is always cooked when ordered, not pre-made and served. I am a resident of Calistoga and have had fish and chips at several places in town. Perhaps they will take notice and give the public what they pay for.....
I really liked this place the couple times I had gone before. But all it takes is one bartender with a bad attitude and the common decency not to express his opinions within earshot of my table and an undercooked slider to undo all the positive .
Sat down and waited 30 min, no service. A couple comes in and gets service immediately. We left and found another place. While finishing up our food at the new place we saw a couple that had been seated close to us looking for food. They said they waited 45 min with no service and left....
