Love the vibe at this place. The bartender made me the most amazing BLENDED margarita with sugar on the rim. Seriously orgasmic. 10/10

Outdoor atmosphere is great. Very laid back and comfortable but great aesthetics and feel. All the cocktails are world-class and amazingly balanced. Off menu, but they made me probably the best pina colada I have ever had (it was Jamaican Jerk) by suggestion. Wine list is great with excellent pricing. You don't feel gouged on some excellent bottles. Had quite a few food items, each were really good. The caviar service was done really well. Service was excellent, topped by Robert. He went above and beyond, making us feel welcomed and also inviting us into the not open Rum Room in the hotel, sharing an impressive rum collection and conversation. This is an absolute must if you are in Calistoga. We wished we had actually spent more time here instead of exploring some of the other passable locations.

The hospitality here knows no bounds. The staff is so generous and gracious. Over two visits I had several on menu cocktails including the Pina Fresa, Coconut Fat-Washed old fashion, Jamaican jerk old fashion and favorite Rye Tai and all were excellent. Additionally the bartender made off menu Pina coladas including one with jerk spice that were absolutely amazing. I also need to mention the caviar and chips, served the way the Lord intended on lays potato chips. This is a not to be missed spot in Calistoga.

As you journey thru life, sometimes you’re fortunate to stumble upon a gift…today 09/23/2024, Robert’s Tropical Table Bar & Lounge was my gift. Within downtown Calistoga, adjacent to a boutique hotel, island vibes resonated from an outside, umbrella shaded bar and lounge area. The wife and I were greeted by Robert and made comfortable with cooling fans, shade and cushioned seating. We never looked at the menu and asked to be surprised by a couple of cocktails. Upon delivery, I was instantly transported to a tropical paradise. The hand crafted cocktails mimicked the colors of a sunset, with aromas of sweet-n-spicy and garnished with petite flowers or various floral petals. The ice cold drinks enlivened our tastebuds with fruit, sweet, sour, smoke and spice. The cocktails were amazingly delicious. To crave our appetite, we chose the watermelon salad and jerked pork belly small plates. The watermelon salad was cool and refreshing this hot September day; delicious, fresh and in a way-hydrating. For me, the jerked pork belly was a sweet and savory dish I would want to share with everyone. Tender, pork belly you could cut with a fork, resting in tangy, sweet jerk sauce and I think chickpeas for crunch. So tasty. Robert and staff were welcoming, attentive and personable. I highly recommend and encourage you to visit Robert’s Tropical Bar and Lounge if you’re looking to enliven your tastebuds with food atypical of the region, made with the wholesome ingredients and love you’ve come to expect of the region and served/prepared by friendly folks.

One of the best things about Calistoga is Robert’s. The Side Effects #2 is a terribly balanced, refreshing cocktail that has blown away everyone I have introduced it to. The coconut washed old fashioned is at another level. And their superb cocktail skills aren’t limited to specialties…my friend had a vodka martini and said it was the best she ever had. The jerk chicken and Robert’s gumbo are delicious. And the atmosphere can’t be beat. Robert and/or Patti are always here and will greet you with a smile.

We stumbled upon this place while walking in downtown Calistoga and it was one of the only places open on a Tuesday night. It had an amazing vibe with a tropical vibe and great music playing. We had some tasty cocktails that were beautifully made. They had mister fans going so it was really comfortable in 90+ degree weather and they also handed out ice cold towels. They have live music on Wednesday which we will sadly miss.

HOWEVER, Robert was so kind to surprise me with a lovely glass of J Moss (Black owned wine company) and a lemon ricotta that was so delicate and flavorful. Truly, this is a place for foodies who can appreciate flavor and texture distinctions, ambiance and hospitality. Come hungry ONLY if you can splurge hard on multiple plates for your meal. DO come ready for a food & bev experience that is worth the ticket price 😉 Cheers Robert!

What a gem in Calistoga 🙌🏽 the cocktails, atmosphere & service were all incredible. As it was carnival weekend I was longing for soca music & as soon as I asked they started playing it!! So cool!!! We met Robert and all the other folks there were incredibly personable too. They also brought complimentary cups of soup for us to try which were delicious!! Definitely recommend spending the night here!!

I really wanted to like this place, but after two attempted visits, it’s a hard no. We first stopped by on Wednesday around 9:10 p.m. (they close at 10), only to be told they were closed—despite music still playing and other patrons clearly enjoying freshly made drinks. Odd, but we figured maybe they just have an early last call? We decided to try again on Friday. This time, we were seated and handed both cocktail and wine menus. But when we went to order a cocktail, the server abruptly snapped, “Wine only.” It was roughly 9:30pm. Again, people around us had cocktails on their tables—fresh ones. Between the inconsistency and the rude service, wouldn’t recommend.
