Was Kunden über Royal Kebabs & Gyros sagen
Royal Kebabs & Gyros is praised for its authentic Turkish food, friendly staff (especially Rosa, the owner), and clean environment. The lamb/beef gyros and Adana kebab are popular. Some found the kababs and gyro meat dry, and the lentil soup inconsistent.

If you like Turkish food, then this is your place in South Bay area. Their lentil soup is one of the best! Adana kebab is perfect. Definitely taste gullac dessert and Turkish tea. This place could put a bit more Turkish art and decorations so that I can come with my family next time!
Great turkish food, authentically prepared. The turkish delight is a bit expensive at $2.5 per piece, but definitely get it (pomegranate, rose water!). The appetizer sampler ($17) is a must get, you get to try all favorites. The salmon plate was delicious. The falafel wrap was quite dry, but fresh. The service at the restaurant is pretty fast. The ambience is take-out type, but they do have chairs on both sides.
During our trip, my friends and I visited a lot of different places to eat, but one thing I can say for sure — this spot was hands down the best one of the entire journey. The food was insanely delicious, full of flavor, and left us more than satisfied. What made the experience even better was the kind and welcoming girl at the reception — she was incredibly friendly and even treated us to a dessert! Highly recommend this place to anyone looking for an unforgettable meal.
Had Baskin Robbins before dinner at Royal Kebabs and Gyros which were so good. Fresh ingredients for the salad and great meats in the wraps. Delicious! For the full details of our 5 months Round The World (RTW) travels, visit 2bearbear today!
Very good and fresh ingredients! The outdoor seating and heating is a plus! Great place to bring your dog out for dinner/lunch!
Wanted some Turkish food and found this place. Saw that the vertical rotisseries were on - a great sign. Got the lamb and beef gyros (döner). Very juicy and tasty. Also got the Turkish coffee which came with the lokum (sweet pink cube that tastes like Tomoe Ame). Was so good came back a few days later to try the Adana kebab. That was very juicy. Easily one of the best spots for a Turkish meal. Recommended.
Royally Satisfied at Royal Kebabs & Gyros! I recently had the pleasure of dining at Royal Kebabs & Gyros, and it exceeded all my expectations! From the moment I stepped in, I was greeted by friendly staff who made me feel right at home. Rosa, the owner, has truly created something special here. The Lamb & Beef Gyros were packed with flavor and cooked to perfection, and the baklava and ice-cream for dessert were simply divine. To top it off, the Turkish tea was a delightful addition to the meal, adding to the authentic experience. With such fantastic food and warm hospitality, there's no doubt I'll be back to Royal Kebabs & Gyros again soon. Highly recommended for anyone craving delicious Turkish cuisine in a welcoming atmosphere!
Very nice people and place. Everyone speaks Turkish which is nice as I do too. My family is Turkish and we come here frequently, the food is amazing every time! Never any complaints, everyone we've brought to the restaurant has loved it. The Dolma and beef Döner wrap have to be my favorites! Absolutely love the Lokum (Turkish Delight) too, rose flavor is my favorite. My family recommends the Adana Kebap!

Excellent and authentic Turkish lamb beef doner. Really did take be back to Istanbul
I really liked this place! The chicken soup was very tasty and warm, and also enjoyed the chicken kebab. At the end, we tried a traditional dessert called künefe. It was something new for me, very unusual but really delicious. I loved the sweet taste and the texture. The staff were very friendly and welcoming. From the moment we came in, they explained everything to us and helped us understand the menu. I truly recommend this place 🫶🏻
After a long day at work, I love treating myself to a great meal, and this place delivers both delicious food and a welcoming atmosphere. The girl at the front desk is always so friendly and pleasant. I usually go for the Beyti Kebab, but the lentil soup is definitely another favorite of mine
With so many Mediterranean options nearby, wanted to try something new. And we were not disappointed at all. The wrap was full of flavor, the lamb was perfectly cooked and juicy. This is our new go to place for Gyros and Wraps!!
The food is amazing it is always very fresh and the staff is always friendly. We ordered the chicken shish kebab and it was 5*. The service is impeccable. They also have a very nice outdoor seating which is great
The food was delicious and served warm, even with a phone order, it was ready for pickup without compromising quality. The customer service was exceptional: the staff were very kind, respectful, and genuinely welcoming. The environment was clean and well-maintained, creating a pleasant dining experience. I highly recommend this place, and the prices are quite reasonable for the value you receive.

We online ordered chicken kabob plate, beef lamb gyro plate, and a chicken gyro wrap. The chicken gyro wrap is very delicious. The chicken kabob is very good, too. The beef lamb gyro is a bit dry for me, but the salad and rice are all great! It would be much helpful for ordering food if the online order menu has pictures. But all in all, the food is great!
I ordered the kofta plate and the gyro plate, and both were excellent. The kofta was juicy, well seasoned, and grilled perfectly with a nice char on the outside while staying tender inside. One thing to note, the kofta is on the heavier side. I am not sure if they add something specific to it or if it is just very dense and filling, but it definitely fills you up fast. Not a bad thing at all, just something to know going in. You can taste the spices without them being overpowering. The gyro meat was generous in portion, nicely crisped on the edges, and full of flavor. Not dry, not greasy, just well done. The rice was fluffy and clean, not soggy or bland, and the salad was fresh and bright with a good balance between tomato, cucumber, and onion. The garlic sauce and tzatziki were both solid. Creamy, well seasoned, and not watered down like at some places. Portion sizes are very fair for the price. You definitely leave full. The outdoor seating is also a nice touch, especially on a sunny day. It is clean, relaxed, and comfortable. Overall, this is a reliable Turkish restaurant.
Popped into this place for dinner. The chicken gyro plate was fresh, the veggie dressing was zesty and tangy, but the chicken needed more seasoning. The gyro wrap was packed with flavor. The chicken pita with fries hit all the right spots - juicy, savory chicken paired with crispy, salty fries. Diner style decor with cute kitty photo on the wall. Staff was friendly. Solid spot.
This is our first time eating this kind of food. Lamb shish was very delicious. Chicken shish was ok. The Turkish delight was too sweet. Baba Ghanoush was ok. The coffee was very small and bitter ( maybe because it doesn't have milk). The rice was tasty.
Pretty good gyro place, we went there for weekend lunch. We had a lamb-beef gyro with fries, kids chicken gyro with rice, and hummus. The food was good. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Plenty of parking in the area.

The Gyros are good. The kababs were dry. The lentil soup was blended nothing like lentils anymore and doesn't taste good. Overall it's ok.
Walked in for take out on a Monday night, they had me out the door in 3 minutes. Ordered the lamb/beef Gyro plate, the pilaf was lacking in flavor, the meat was also but, the salad wasn’t too bad. Pita bread tasted like it was out of a bag.

Great service and atmosphere with outdoor seating. I had the combo gyro plate. The presentation and the amount was very good. The prices are ok for the quantity. Sadly I was quite disappointed by the lack of flavor. The meat felt like it was grilled as is, without any seasoning or marinade. The rice also lacked flavor and was closer to Asian white rice than anything we see in most shawarma/Greek/Mediterranean places. The pita was great but overall the star of the show underperformed and it was not a success for the family.
Today I went to this restaurant to eat. I told the girl at the counter that I would be eating at a table. After sitting at the table for about 10 minutes and seeing that no one was coming, I said I wanted to order, and the same girl told me that orders had to be placed at the counter. I ordered Iskender kebab, but it was the worst Iskender I've ever eaten; or rather, it was as if they had poured hot water over the meat, and the color was slightly reddish, and there was no garlic taste at all. As a Turkish chef, it saddens me deeply that Turkish cuisine is being presented to foreigners in such a terrible way.

Saw great reviews, so I had to try it out. Sadly, the food was just horrible. Ordered a Greek salad with gyro chicken on top with a chicken gyro plate. The chicken was super dry with zero flavor. Salad was missing the dressing and the tzatziki sauce was super runny. Cost 46 bucks for these two plates and they went in the trash. Avoid this place and go somewhere else.
