Lock Stock Bar & Grill is a popular spot known for its great atmosphere, friendly service, and tasty food. The Friday fish fry is a hit, and the Reuben sandwich and burgers receive high praise. Some find the prices a bit steep, and consistency can vary.

Great honest down to earth vibe, a fantastic Reuben with house smoked pastrami, reliable bar food staples, and a good selection of beer.
We all enjoyed our meals. Waitress was very helpful. Our first time there answered and explained various choices. Lock Stock. Bar & Grill will be a definite stop on our future road trips.
This place is a gem in the woods that everyone should try! Custom pizza taco Tuesday amazing wings and a cozy feel too it that kind of feels like hot coco on a winter day after playing in the snow I haven't been here in years but me and my wife were in the area and decided to stop in for lunch we shared a too Salad and our son ordered from the 6 dollar kids menu- nice kids choices and all the same price 6$ not bad in my opinion I ordered a 3 dollar tacos since it was the special nice variety of choices too beef chicken prime rib or ruban tacos all sound tasty, stop in after a visit at Bristol resort for a few drinks or anytime for some feel good foods burgers fries bar foods ect either way you won't me disappointed and it won't kill your wallet
Impressive selection of beers on tap. Seating inside and outside. Today was Taco Tuesday. I had a beef taco, a chicken taco, and a pulled pork one. They were wonderful. Fine place to stop after playing golf with the boys at Reservoir Creek.
Their mac & cheese is to die for with the brisket. We ate outside and got great service. This is the third time I’ve eaten here. I highly recommend it.
Loved the hospitality of Dave the owner. A welcoming character who loves his Harleys, and has skied all over the US and Canada. He prides himself in his smoker to do ribs, brisket and a few other meats, and does a great prime rib on the weekends. The place is well situated beside Bristol Mountain and an easy walk from Filigree Inn. If your staying at the Inn, put this spot on your dinner stops. If your on a road trip through the finger lakes region this is a good place to stop.
I’ve had the take out now twice from here during the quarantine and the food has been excellent I did the family style country fried rib eye tonight and its the best I’ve ever had. Prices were very reasonable and great size portions. Friendly service also highly recommend
Automatically I got in and was able to sit at the bar for food. The bartender didn’t hesitate about asking if we wanted anything to drink (we are 21+). Absolutely amazing. Would really recommend!
Amazing new owners have updated this long time fav for Bristol skiers & all who appreciate the Finger Lakes region for wine, food, art and more. Excellent food with caringly attentive service, great beer, wine & bar selection and more. Definitely recommend! Luv the house artichokes
The prime rib was excellent! The rib eye was excellent! Very impressed with the quality of food. Good beer, good sides. Definitely will be going back.
Can't beat this place after a long day of skiing. Ordered a burger and 20 wings with 2 beers for me and my girlfriend - 40 bucks! Bartender/server was a sweetheart and the atmosphere was cozy. Cool stuff covered all the walls - check it out on your way home from bristol mtn!
Fun little roadhouse with pub food and better (eg, housemade pastrami). Occasional local mountain music is quite good.
The owner was so nice! We were able to bring our dog as we were going hiking after lunch. The food was an amazing upgrade from our last experience a few years ago!
The fish fry is wonderful and the plate is equally as good. One of the best meat sauces I've ever had. Great job!
This was near the house I rented. They had music, a great beer selection and my burger was perfect. It's a few miles from Bristol ski resort.
Rochesterians- why aren't you day tripping here for brunch! Get the waffle. This place is a gem. Never had a bad meal. As it gets harder and harder to find a good place in the city, this location is worth the drive. Trust the servers guidance and you can't go wrong. We had chicken and waffles and they're better than anything I've had in the south. There BBQ options are great as well. Great destination if you're a motorcyclist.
Food was amazing, chefs were incredibly accommodating, massive portions but still incredible quality. The calamari was the best I’ve had in years. The waitress was top of the line! 10/10 would come back!!!
The fries were pretty ok. I really liked their pulled pork items. Their waffles were amazing, I swear it was fried in maple syrup. We went in the off season and it was very cozy, I'm sure they're very busy when skiing season is on. The staff were very very kind and patient, which is much appreciated.
The owner was our bartender. She was absolutely amazing. So personable and so attentive. We ordered chicken wings and cheese garlic bread. Both items were exceptional. Our drinks were well made and they did not skimp on the alcohol. This bar has darts, a fireplace and outdoor seating. Come support this new ownership, they are doing it right!
The food and atmosphere here were awesome. I went on a comedy night presented there monthly. Very fun. The two employees that I talked to Beyond hello, Bridget and Savannah, we're so nice and friendly. It's seasonal so as it approaches skiing season that's when you want to go there's a mountain down the street, and there's friendly people there you can meet.
Great burger and service. April was great she is handling the bar and a ton of tables with ease. Good place to stop off for lunch or a drink.
Great local hangout with really solid food options. Highly recommend anything with the homemade pastrami on it. It was delicious! The place can get noisy inside. Typical bar/pub atmosphere but they have a bunch of outdoor seating that's a bit quieter if the weather's cooperating!
Fast, friendly service and great food. Solid drink selection, and the Bavarian pretzel was amazing. The "Back Country Burger" was one of the best burgers we've ever had. Can't wait to go back and try other menu items!
It’s great my wife and I needed a pet friendly restaurant on a road trip. Everything was amazing food and friendly staff.
What a gem! We've been in Livingston County for so long but never ventured south enough to try this place. It has a really great atmosphere, friendly service, and a great selection of food. Great place to cruise down to. The cajun buffalo wings are 🤌🤌🤌
The rueben sandwich was the best I've ever had!!! Thick sliced House smoked pastrami was amazing. I'd go back just for that. Great service and friendly patrons!
Amazing food options (for carnivore and herbivores alike), LOVED cream of mushroom soup and baked Mac n cheese ... All the way to dessert lemon blueberry crumble cheesecake. Extremely friendly and helpful staff ... Missy was a gem and great atmosphere inside and on decks. Went in summer after Bristol ropes course ... Great respite! Only thing I feel they could improve on is having a real plain hard cider available for non-beer drinkers ... they had fruity options but just wanted a crisp clear cider. But they are not alone in forgetting that on a menu. Fantastic afternoon.
May 15 stopped for brunch. Had the breakfast hash plate . I asked for couple eggs on top and they accommodated me. Wife had a cauliflower pizza. Great food and service were five stars. Oh ya the Bloody Mary’s were great. If your takings trip to Naples area try them out,
They handled a group of 10 with no issues whatsoever. Brittney, our server, was fantastic! She got everything right, was very attentive and was available if there were questions. My burger was cooked perfectly (medium rare).
Just picked up the meatloaf sandwich special, Delmonico steak special, and spinach dip. The steak fries were incredible. More like potato wedges and best my boyfriend and I have ever had! Absolutely amazing! Definitely will be ordering again and look forward to coming to eat when you are able to reopen!
We went here for a family dinner. Food was good, and there were choices for all 7 people. We sat in the outside space, which was nice and shady on a summer night. Judy was a great waitress and amused by our crazy....food service was prompt and prices are reasonable. Great experience and plan to return.
I am at locks once a year What a great place to spend the last Sunday of June every year Ethan created a welcoming and relaxed atmosphere with the support of his brother. And of course don’t forget Judy her eye is on everything keeping the details in check A truly unique and comfortable place
We always enjoy ourselves here. Good food in a friendly, laid back atmosphere. Love the burgers (try the their signature "Back Country"), great french onion soup and interesting specials.
Delicious sword fish special. Guys had garbage plates. All good. Service was great and funny guy. Loved it there.
I've always had a good time here. I took my wife out to a St. Patrick's day dinner. It wasn't very busy because we arrived around 3:30-4 pm. A few people at the bar for Friday happy hour. I had corned beef cabbage and potatoes with carrots and a Molson Canadian beer. My wife had a fish fry with french fries. Both meals were delicious. The waitress was not her typical efficient self and the service was a bit slow but we weren't in any hurry.
We hitched up the team and arrived on a classic winter afternoon, full of optimism and good cheer for our first visit. We were hardly disappointed. We were greeted with warm smiles and promptly seated. My wife ordered the World Burger and consumed the entire meal, which was my only disappointment of the visit because I can typically count on finishing her meal. I ordered the Buffalo mac and cheese was thoroughly satisfied. Did I wish the serving were bigger? Of course, because it was that good. But my waistline thanked me. The music provided a pristine ambience for the meal and to say our visit was anything less than spectacular would be profoundly untrue. We’re looking forward to our next visit and who knows, we may even let our kids in on this gem of an establishment. Thank you to the servers, cooks and management. ::chef’s kiss::
The garlic perogies and the pretzel are the best appetizers I’ve ever had! French onion soup, burger, chicken sandwich, etc. is all good. Adorable place in winter or summer with very nice people working there. Great option for repeat visits!
This was our second time eating here after visiting Bristol Mountain, and it did not disappoint. Staff are super friendly, and the food is excellent! Everything was cooked perfectly, and it tasted great. The Back Country Burger was one of the best I have ever had. A neat little out of the way place if you're looking for a break from the usual chain restaurants.
Love the vibe of the staff and people working there. Great place to get together with friends and family
The crispy chicken sandwich was to die for and our waitress was super friendly and nice.
Great place to drop by for a visit. Friendly staff. Good food & good service too.
We sat at the bar & the bartender April is a sweetheart & makes a damn good drink! We ordered the garbage plate & baked mac n cheese. So delicious!
I went here expecting typical bar food, something fried and served in baskets. I was not only wrong but blown away by how good the food was. Everything from the specials to the permanent menu items were delicious. The staff were polite and helpful. My only critique is that despite it not being busy the food took longer than it should have to be served. We will definitely go back
The best French onion soup that I've had in decades! Holy cheese! I ordered the Lovebird (grilled chicken sandwich with roasted apples). I omitted the balsamic mayo and asked for a side of regular mayo. I didn't even need to use mayo, and I NEVER eat a sandwich dry! The chicken was nicely seasoned and juicy! The roasted apples are such a great addition to the sandwich, I'm so glad I didn't omit them! Everyone else had the Pastrami Reuben and raved about it. My brother gave me a chunk of the Pastrami. Delicious! That'll be my next order if I make it there again before heading back to TX. We also got the Dragon Tails (bacon wrapped stuffed jalapenos) as an appetizer... highly recommend! Everything was excellent!
Delicious food. Awesome atmosphere and great service. April our server was the best I've ever had, such a positive and polite server. Everything she recommended was what she said it was, and it was definitely delicious. Saturday night, Thanks for the great food who ever was cooking that night. And the French onion soup was great.
Shout out to Ethan. He is one of the best bartenders I have seen. Great place for a casual dinner and drink. Would highly recommend.
I love this place! We stopped after golf for a drink and ended up having some appetizers. The spinach & artichoke dip is the best I have ever had. We also had the bacon wrapped scallops and the calamari. They were equally delicious! The staff was great! Will definitely go back.
Lock stock is a classic old ski town style bar and restaurant, with good food and a classic environment straight from an 80s ski movie! The food is good and everything is homemade . The soups are always good, and the Mac and cheese- wings - and salads were all great! The only reason in not gouging the service 5 stars is because I told the lady my drink order, as clearly and to make it simpler.. yet, she did all the things I ask not to have.. and didn't do put the juice in my drink. Apart from that, this place was solid!
We are always driving by this place from our cabin and today was our First time stopping by... Ashley did an amazing job serving us and Food was delicious! Really happy customers! Keep up the great work.
Never been here before. Loved it. Great menu. Next time I'll get the smoked pork. Looked delicious
Had not been in the establishment since the new owners had taken over. What a pleasant experience! Food was flavorful, cooked correctly, and served in a professional manner. Had a couple burgers, mods were respected, and our appetizer was spot on. I liked the selection of local and regional beers. Bathroom clean. If I am in the area, I would visit again.
I had an excellent broiled fish with vegetables, my son got a garbage plate, he said it was the best he has ever had.
Lock Stock at Bristol Mountain is one of our favorite traditions—after a day of skiing my wife and I always end up here, and it never disappoints. The interior is cozy, the atmosphere is genuinely welcoming, and the service is outstanding—sometimes the waitresses even remember what we ordered last time. And a special shout-out to the chef: the food here is far beyond “ski hill pub” level. Honestly, this chef could earn 5 stars in Paris. Pro tip: order real food, not just a basket of fries—you’ll be glad you did.
Good food, decent beer choices and great service. The atmosphere of this bar is what I like most. Makes you feel like your in another and another time.
Ceasar salad, burger, spinach and artichoke dip. Everything was prepared perfectly. Will be back again. The server was pleasant and helpful too.
Just had our son's wedding rehearsal dinner here. The staff was amazing and very attentive. The food was incredible. They had no problems serving 30 people. The tenderloin was so tender it could be cut with a fork. Everyone in attendance raved about this venue!!!! Kudos to everyone in the front and back of the house!!!!
Unique venue kept my eyes busy. The food was good for all 8 of us. I had a garbage plate that was plentiful and tasty. Our server did great as well.
Our bartender Ashley was phenomenal! The food was great and the atmosphere was great. Will definitely be back! Couldn't recommend enough!!
Went on a hike and was driving home and we came across this place and we are so grateful we did! 1. The atmosphere is real clean, cool and unique. 2. The women’s bathroom is supplied with everything you could possibly need which is was super thoughtful 3. The food was amazing! My husband got the Rueben and he was basically drooling. It was melting in his mouth. I got the veggies no butter because I’m a vegan and the cook made mine making sure there were no cross contaminations which was SO mindful and thoughtful! The waitress was so knowledgeable about the food, very attentive and was so nice. Thanks for telling the cook I was vegan! Means a lot. We live an hour away but we will definitely be back this way!!! I’d def recommend this anyone In and out of the area!!!
Loved this place! Great music, food, and my favorite IPA of all time, #SouthernTierBrewery #Pumpking #BestpumpkinIPA Great fish fry! Beer battered haddock can't be beat. Living in Florida you would think good fresh fish fries are plentiful. Not so! Or maybe we're just spoiled because we were raised up here🤷🏻♀️ After a day of hiking and sightseeing, I'm so glad we ended up here. Happy Halloween 🎃
Stopped in today with two other people.Cool little bar and grill. We had a pretzel app and three other items. One was chicken alfredo which my son ordered. It didn't seem like a chicken alfredo place but it was actually very good. The Reuben sandwich was also really well done.Judy the bartender was super friendly and made you feel welcome. I would definitely stop again the next time I'm down in Bristol.
Went for a Friday fish fry around 7 pm and we were able to be seated immediately. They had plenty of staff and what appeared to be a manager on the floor making sure things were going smoothly. Our waitress greeted us at the table as we were sitting down and gave us menus along with taking a drink order right away. We love coming here as a local for years. We love the atmosphere and the hometown vibe here. We were also brought a pitcher of ice water while we looked at the menu. Drinks came quickly and she took our order while dropping them off. Food came just as fast and HOT. Our Waitress always checked on us about our food and drinks. My fish fry was awesome! Bigger than the plate and reasonably priced. Not that we were in a rush, but we were done in 60 minutes. They hit a home run that night!
We visited this place by chance and was pleasantly surprised. The food was delicious and it was served quickly. It was Friday and fish fry day. I had the beer battered and my husband had the Cajun style. We also had cocktails which were delicious and not watered down. Our bartender was very nice too. They also had a sign for comedy night and open mic. I would highly recommend it if you are visiting the area.
OK, I have been in food service for 30 years. I would Never allow my servers to not take the customer order in their heads. 90% of the time they are Wrong or incomplete An iPad or Android tablet or a pencil and paper. I have also considered writing my own order on a piece of paper for the Server. Especially if you want to have Cheddar cheese instead of American cheese and bacon added on. Weed is legal in NY but save getting ripped for when your shift is over. People should start sending their food back more often when the order is Wrong, the kitchen makes what is ordered Atmosphere was good, food was good but Wrong. Restaurant managers and Owners should demand written ordering or just let the customer fill out a ordering form to hand to the Cook or Chef. I would go back again if I could hand my order to the Cook personally.
I had the chicken fried steak sandwich. The bbq sauce surprised me. Next time Ill get it with only the traditional white gravy.
Just went for drinks to check out the new owners. Very nice bartender! The menu looks good but we couldn't stay. Try it out the ugly dollar bills are gone off the ceiling but other than that it still looks pretty much the same. Definitely cleaner.
Food was very good. Brittney was very attentive. However, it took about 45 min for the food to come out. We were there just to chat and relax but if we had needed to get in and out quickly it would have been stressful.
We love this local roadhouse! Service is always great, entertainment is superb and my husband loves the Brussel Sprouts!
Food was excellent as was the service. They need a changing table in the bathroom. I had to late a blanket on the floor of the bathroom to change my one month old. That’s ridiculous and should be fixed asap.
Cool but a little loud with all that wood, nice place to hear music when the folks quiet down
Authentic atmosphere as soon as we walked in, and learned that it was completely remodeled with a new owner in 2019. Knotty pine and rustic throughout, with festive lights, area artifacts and fireplace. Noisy bar was off to the side. Lunch menu choices good as were the breakfast specials still serving at 1pm. I had the chicken cajun wrap and wife had the breakfast sandwich special. Both were excellent (I had what she couldn’t finish). Especially liked the Mac salad side. Prices were average. Everything was clean. We would definitely recommend.
We stopped in on a day it was not super busy. Service was excellent, I got the goat cheese salad and was not disappointed. I felt that the portion of chicken was fairly small for the additional charge, I ended up ordering another piece of chicken. The portions were large in general for all of our meals. I would come back again on my next visit to Bristol
We were celebrating Valentine's a day late, but not a place for a quiet romantic dinner. Got a table right away even though the place was full. Unfortunately right by side door that kids kept using. Too cold for that. Loud drunk people two tables down from us, I guess it is a bar. The prime rib was pretty good, but nothing special. Waitress was really nice and it was good service. Not sure if we'll try it again.
Steak I ordered was chewy and undercooked (almost raw on the inside). Luckily I ordered to go and was able to cook the meat properly once I got home. I'm not sure how you mess up cooking a steak that badly? I put two stars because their Mac n cheese was quite good, everything just seems a tad overpriced
Worst fish fry I’ve ever had!! Service was slow. They had a new guy alone on a busy Friday night. Never going back Edited. My visit was a few weeks ago. We were comped 50% of the meal
The wait staff were really nice! Unfortunately, the rest of my experience wasn’t great. I ordered a simple ham and cheese omelette and it took over an hour to get. When I got the omelette, it was so small that I was able to finish it in a few short bites. While it tasted good, I definitely left hungry and wondering why I paid $9 for half of an omelette. I wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone!
So...we waited almost 4 weeks after the opening and here we go: Ordered wings. No flavor. Wings tasted frozen. I could taste the sauce which was a good mild sauce. The french onion soup was very good. They only had one flavor of white claw which was odd to me and the Coors light draft was not very cold. The spinach artichoke dip: the center was freezing cold and the outside was scalding hot. Service was questionable. It was not busy enough for 4 servers but still took a while for a drink while seated at a table. Maybe we should have given them more time.
UPDATE: WHAT'S WITH ALL OF THE SOUR FACES ON THE WAIT STAFF LATELY? Also, if what you get from the kitchen is different from what the menu states, here's a tip. Let the customer know. And don't be pissy when the customer asks you questions about what changed. Since this has happened several times recently we will not be back. We have been to this location multiple times in each time it's just a little different. We have always been greeted with a smile which is very nice. We've tried many different menu items, the goats in the valley salad is outstanding. The nachos were very good as well and is a very hefty portion. Went on a Tuesday for Mexican night and ordered the quesadillas, it was a special request to get something with no meat on it but the chef accommodated us. The chicken on the salads is generally very skimpy, not sure why. Vegetarian options are clearly marked on the menu and there are many to choose from. You can even get a black bean burger as a substitute for any meat burger. All around we would definitely be back, service is good, and the prices are certainly not bad at all. One tip: make sure you review your final bill before paying. Just be careful that you do not get overcharged. It's a great place, check it out.
Cute little place with okay food. Burgers were good but the beer battered fish fry was bad. You usually get the crispiest fish fry in the little places this one was mushy though not oily with an odd flavor to the batter. Our waitress was inattentive. Bar tender and front of house support staff were great. If we come back on our way to or from Camp Cutler we'll sit at the bar.
Paid $45 for 10 chicken wings and a pastrami sandwich. Wings were not great and I returned the sandwich for being burnt. Not a fan of overpriced less than mediocre food. Went to pops bakery and got a reuben that was twice the size of the pastrami sandwich and it cost me $7 less.
Have eaten here many times but on Friday August 29th the food was definitely not up to par. The fish fry (We had 4 dinners) were all SO greasy and overcooked and disgusting. The French onion soup was so full of cheese and bread and very little soup. On the bright side the waitress was fantastic as she always is.
Just picked up fish fry to GO. WHAT HAPPENED? Definitely not as good as usual. Fish tasted like it had been frozen and reheated. It was very mushy. Batter not crispy AT ALL. Tartar sauce was plain mayonnaise ! To bad, we were really looking forward to another great fish fry. We will not be recommending to anyone, ever again
Poor service when i went. Hostess ignored me, waitress took order and disappeared for 40 mins, burger was cold and half the toppings were missing, half of the burger was well done other half was rare ( yes really). I would have complained, but again no staff around till we were walking toward the door. Very sad. Friend tried a secong time, bartender ignored him and the lady owner was rude. So we wont be going back and neither will many people i know that have had the same experience.
I was completely embarrassed for recommending this place for a 1st date 2/9/20. I had been here multiple times in the past & never had a bad experience... service was good, the food was excellent & plenty & the ambiance was great. We came for dinner & found no entrees available on the menu, the service was terrible because there lacked enough staff & the food was terrible & I left hungry. We both had the bacon blue burger. The portions looked like they were from the kids menu. The server never asked how we would like it cooked, so it came blackened/burned on the outside & rare/raw on the inside. The roll was stale & hard. The bacon was burnt to a crisp & amounted to 2 tiny pieces the size of silver dollars, the crumbly blue cheese like watery blue cheese dressing & had no flavor at all & the kettle chips were store bought, not homemade. Our burgers & his fries were cold before the server brought the ketchup we requested. Lastly, it was 30+ minutes before our check was brought to the table. We should have gone to the Irish Mafia Brewing Co. VERY, VERY disappointed & discouraged from returning or recommending Lock Stock & Barrel ever again! 😔
Wow, I didn't think it was humanly possible to mess up a garbage plate, but somehow you guys did it! Bland, tasteless burgers, mixed with dry tasteless mac salad. What a combo! I couldn't finish it. My dogs certainly enjoyed it when I got home though. Avoid!
