Magnífico lugar, recomiendo los quilaquiles rojos con salsa de crema de habanero (está viene aparté) y quedan super deliciosos. Lugar divino, nos atendieron super bien y super rápido, los precios me parecen acordé a lo ofrecido por el lugar. Se los super recomiendo.

Honestly don’t understand the reviews here. It was fantastic. Wait was a SMIDGE longer than normal but that’s it. I had the ceviche. Wasn’t the biggest fan of the chips (too rough) but my girlfriend had the rancheros huevos and was good too. The bacon was AMAZING. Drinks reasonably priced and good.

But, both times my husband requested jalapeños on his omelet. Both times the waiter repeated the order. Neither time did it have jalapeños. So don’t expect modifications to be honored.

Our experience here was great! We were looking for a place in the hotel zone that served breakfast food (eggs, pancakes, etc) and this place did not disappoint! First, you walk in and are pleasantly greeted by all the floral decor. You can tell they put thought and effort info the design. We were seated promptly. Our sever was very sweet, not pushy. Ordered coffee (bonus / they have almond milk!) and omelette - one ham/cheese, one vegetarian. Flavors of the food fantastic!! We were pleasantly surprised! Do note on the receipt, they automatically add in a suggested tip - glad i saw that to not double tip!

We bumped into this gem by accident and turned out to be an amazing spot! First thing you will notice is the beautiful decorations, very colorful! The hostess was very kind and the waiter Daniel was very attentive with a great sense of humor! Then there's Paco, the General Manager. He was so on top of every detail. The music at this place was the absolute best! Finally, the food was out of this world. Will definitely come back to El Agradecido on our next trip!

The fish tacos are wonderful and the ambiance is so lovely! I wish they had more vegetable options! The staff and service was very good. Disappointing that they only have one option for glasses of white or red wine. I liked the smaller options for the drinks, the strawberry margarita & pina coladas were fairly good.

El lugar es un lugar bonito ... pero el servicio, nunca en mi vida había esperado tanto por unos huevos, si duramos 2 horas allí fue poco, una persona atendía y otra cocinaba... los platos q llevaban fruta literal solo te daban 2 pedazos de 3 cm y ya... solo dan melón y sandia... y unos platos decían de frutos rojos... están muy caro. Pésimo servicio y no me refiero a que fueran groseros, eran lentos, y los platos muy pobres por lo q cobran

Le déjeuner n'était pas mauvais à un tarif touristique (verre de lait à 7,50€ et le café à 6,50€) que nous pouvons comprendre. Ce qui nous a déplu fortement fut le fait que dans un premier temps, le serveur nous dise que l'établissement n'acceptait pas les cartes. Après discussion, finalement, le serveur change d'avis, les cartes sont acceptées. Arrivés à la caisse, la caissière fort peu courtoise et ne faisant aucun effort de communication nous annonce non seulement imposer une propina (service) de 15% non discutable (partout ailleurs, le montant de la propina est au choix) et 3% suppl pour le paiement par carte. OK mais suite à cela, le serveur nous demande nos papiers d'identité et veut une copie !!! Quelle expérience désagréable !!! N'y allez pas !

After watching TikTok videos, we were suckered into coming here. Ironically, it’s hard to find so the first time, we ended up eating at Mextreme (across the street) because we couldn’t find this one. I’ll write a separate review for Mextreme as it was excellent. Not so much here. No air conditioning, the poor young waiter was the only one working so he had 6 tables and fell behind. We ordered coffee and cappuccino and it didn’t come till our food came out which was at least 25 min. Coffee was not good. I asked for cream and sugar, and only cream came. I found a table with some sugar and helped myself. Then eventually, they brought several packets but it didn’t matter since the coffee sucked. My wife ordered pancakes which were nothing special, and I ordered Chilaquiles. Not sure how you screw this up in Mexico but it was not great. Chips were hard and the pulled chicken was laid across the top, not blended into the little bit of green sauce in the bottom of the bowl. Do yourself a favor and skip this joint. And don’t believe TikTok. Young kids apparently get free food for making the videos and saying it’s good.

Crooks! Food took over 45 min and the place was empty. staff started off nice, brought me an opened bottle of water I never asked for, then wanted 12$US for 2 bottles, food was sub par omlette was tiny, milkshake was good, skirt steak was ok, when I confronted about why I was charged 6$ US for water that I never ordered was told I had to pay then threatened by the staff members that if I didn't pay it, he would assault me. Disgusting service. Save your money, really made me feel like I was held hostage.

Run down with a bunch of Instagram decor thrown in to make it look nice. This is gonna be long one for anyone reading but main point - stay away, please don't waste your money here and buyer beware kinda thing. So to start it once use to be good, and don't get me wrong- the food is still very tasty. Pricing on food itself is decent for the hotel zone. But drinks are very pricey. That said, this place will and work to up sell you and trick you in a way to get it from you without being understood what you said "yes" too. We witnessed 2 different dates get up sold right next to us (Americans with no spanish skills) and they got scammed hard. One couple ended up walking out actually after a constant back n worth for about 30 minutes (they were on their honeymoon and wanted a pair of mimosas not the whole bottle). They got bottle service, sparkler etc and didn't ask for it, but wanted to charge them aprx 200USD for it when the kid was like "I didn't order this and the bottle doesn't cost as much as being priced over etc etc". That was sketch to see and then the American Asian family also were attempting to dispute their bill as they noticed the added (propina aka tip) added in. I do speak Spanish and even we had the guy work us over on every little item and attempt to upsell or confuse us. Sorry wrong couple lol. But the enchiladas were good, omelet made wrong twice and the server was already dealing with his customers so it was quite the experience. We saw the added tip in on ours as well so we just paid the base price and walked out. As I said, buyer beware. I won't ever come back, better places to visit by far and not getting hounded, people getting scammed and a lot of fake attempts to make this restaurant better than what it is. Can't fool someone who's spent years here, I'll make sure folks seeing this know what's what. Thanks for reading my tedtalk lol. We were approached on the street that they have delicious breakfast. When we got there, our waiter was very stressed, although the restaurant was not even a quarter full. We were able to order the drink quickly, but we waited 20 minutes for it afterwards. Suddenly the waiter came with a "fruit salad" which was additionally decorated with onions and hair. After that we already wanted to leave, because this was disgusting and the waiter told us several times that he would take the order for dinner in 2 minutes. When he finally came to take the order, he was very cheeky with his manner. After that it was wait and wait.... After 30 minutes of waiting for the food, it was too much for us and we left. A single impertinence of this restaurant. Really not recommended. No stars for this

This used to be our favorite place to get breakfast, however this time we left with taste of scam in our mouth. My wife ordered usual breakfast; eggs and French toasts. Her meal came out to 15USD. I asked the waiter if they could make me a burrito.He told me that it would be 5USD extra, obviously should have asked how much the total it was going to be. However, I assumed the max it would cost would be 20 USD, that’s including the 5$ extra. It costed me 35 USD, for a Burrito and fries. This burrito was up to par with a burrito I would get in California for 12USD. Here is what you should do, not just in this restaurant but other business. You should get a concrete total of anything you buy. Do not assume anything because these BUSINESS pray on tourists who don’t ask. Great food but the sheer disrespect they have for business ethics is astounding. Do business with good businesses.

gave us dirty silverware and cracked plates. the conchita and croissant was stale and orange juice was bitter. service was slow. they take the dollar at 16 pesos and charge extra to pay with card. a 15% tip is automatically added to your bill total. they should focus on providing better quality service instead of the facade of “high end dining” because within 5 minutes it was clear that this place is a mess.

Big Mistake. Didn’t mean to come in here, read the negative reviews and they lived up to them. Not just your typical tourist trap, yes the items are expensive for what it is $160mx for a plate of 3 fried eggs, that comes with a side dip of mole and side dip cup of potatoes and a bowl if mini diced fruits. . Service is sloooooow for an empty restaurant and simple breakfast orders. What to really BEWARE of is when paying. Who takes a credit card away and does calculations? Should have followed the waiter. Came back and the price was different. We asked and were finally told there was a 3% charge for credit. Told them we would pay cash and asked for the recipe. Gave us our change but no recipe and told us they can’t give us the receipt but could go to the counter and take a picture. Went to the counter and were told no pictures. So… beware cause now I need to keep checking my credit card charges.

This place should be illegal. It was so disgusting. I literally almost threw up when they served it. It smelled incredibly sour, was partially burned, and was gelatinous. They approached on street. I didn’t even touch my food and just left after paying. They still upcharged for paying in USD vs pesos despite paying in cash. But mostly, the food was disgusting. I warned other patrons before I left.

We were cheated out of money. We were overcharged for the food. The food was absolutely disgusting and not edible. The beautiful decor will fool you. Lady greeted us on the street and asked us to try the restaurant. Big mistake. Tourists beware and go to Navios or someplace respectable.

*DO NOT EAT HERE* Shady restaurant!!! Waited over 40 minutes for food. Drink never came. Husbands salmon was raw and sent it back after one bite and my food was mediocre. We got scammed into paying for the whole meal (even the salmon) as the manager stood at our table demanding/arguing we pay and that it was our fault somehow that the salmon took 40 mins and was raw. Our waiter barely spoke English so was so hard to order. Then said manager tried to act like he was doing us a favor taking 15% off the bill! Oh also waited over 40 minutes for a knife to cut my chicken that I ended up not eating either. Waste of money and they’re totally shady!!

Be very very aware of this establishment. Overpriced and not worth it. Was charged double the price for lunch and wish we had never ate there. The waitress came with a random amount of the tab written down on a receipt. Never was given a breakdown of what we purchased and when asked in US Dollars the waitress was doing a weird calculation and proceed to ask “ is this ok?” Save yourself the headache on overpriced and shady practices of this establishment.

Alors par où commencer… j’arrive dans le restaurant je commande déjà le serveur à oublié la commande et est nous redemander ce qu’on voulait (sachant qu’il y avait deux tables d’occuper dans le restaurant dont la notre) ensuite notre commande arrive alors comment vous dire (photo a l’appuie) que même moi j’étais gênée de servir ce que le serveur nous ramène. J’ai commandé des hot cakes ainsi qu’un pan frances qui devait tous les deux venir accompagné de fruits mix, de miel et de confiture je ne vais même plus commenter je vois l’image ci-dessous. Honteux !! De plus le serveur a prit un ton hautain et arrogant quand je me suis plaint de mon assiette.

Te obligan a pagar una tarifa de servicio solo por entrar. Y los precios son altos a comparación del servicio y la calidad del producto.

En la calle te ruegan que entres diciéndote que los desayunos son deliciosos. Entras y no tienen mole para enchiladas, ni pollo, y tampoco otros platillos por lo que te ofrecen huevos de $300.00 y se tardan una hora (no es exageración). Les preguntas por la comida y el de la barra se burla de los de la cocina. Es increíble. No vengan por nada. Caro y pésimo servicio.

El lugar es muy agradable, la atención fue buena. La comida está bien a secas. Pero no aceptan tarjeta y no nos avisaron antes de comer. Hoy en día ya nadie carga tanto efectivo en la cartera. Además la cuenta ya viene con una propina sugerida, me parece que es más amable dejarlo a consideración del cliente.

Es un lugar por fuera X. Por dentro está limpio muy adornado. Pero estaba vacío. Se nos hizo raro. Pero ya teníamos hambre. Desde el menú muy escueto y los precios caros, en comparaciones de otros de la zona. Pedí camarones al aguillo. Me dieron seis chiquitos, incipitos. Creo estaba mejor la ensalada 😑. El arro era poco y tenía restos de frijoles. NO quiero pensar que lo rescataron de otro plato donde había frijoles servidos.. 😬. El ceviche que pidio mama fatal. Mas jitomate que pescaso. Para pagar que la terminal fallaba y no se que. Deberían de avisarte, considenrsdo que los pagos en esta zona la mayoria son con tarjeta. Que tal y no traía efectivo. En la cuenta total me incluia la propina, que era más del 10%, que y no es obligado. Porque mi cuenta era de 860 pesos y me cobraban 129 de propina. No volveré a ese lugar jamás. No lo recomiendo. Y por cierto me quedé con hambre.😔

La calidad en la comida es mala para el precio que tiene, pedimos nos facturan y no nos mandaron nada, tuvimos que regresar para que se nos entregara la factura y se tardaron mucho. NO LO RECOMIENDO.

Very disappointed. On the menu they had 5 white wines and on the moment, they didn't have any to serve. A Sea food place without white wine? Pity. Lobsters aren't fresh, the waiter have showed me frozen ones, always double check the price per Kilo, they will trick you I eat oysters for many years and probably the worst ones I have ever eaten. Not fresh, not cleaned properly and very small. The starters they serve aren't good at all. The restaurant has a nice design inside, shame the food quality doesn't match. Pay attention, this establishment will make you sign a form in the end, where they will take 3% more on the top of the bill because you paying by card, not sure if this is even legal!!! Once again, it is a shame that a restaurant with such a design have such a bad quality food. In the whole Cancun area, this was the last place I would recommend to anyone.

Short version? Be warned⚠️ Poor service, rotten oysters, random charges, and THIEVES. We came in as a group of 6 paying separately. The server gave us bottled water, and disappeared for 20 minutes before we received glasses of ice. We order, we received our orders separately and 10–15 minutes apart. We sat so long without our food, drinks, silverware, plates, other servers came to ask what we needed. It took OVER 2 HOURS for us to get all of our order of oysters, shrimp pasta, Turkey burrito and ceviche! The oysters were rotten, they brought sauces saying we needed to enhance the taste. Cmon!! We know what oysters are supposed to be like. THEN, tried to double charge our orders, and added a 30% gratuity after we got the manager involved. THE WORST PART? They tried to copy down the credit card number AND ccv code 😳 while we paid. I’m glad others had an enjoyable experience. Very disappointing for us.

I want to start by saying this should be illegal to steal American dollars and try and short change a person in pesos!!! It’s really pathetic how money hungry the culture at this restaurant is!!!! I had a pleasant dining experience until it was time to pay my bill… My total was $22.50 USD AND paid with $100 dollar bill usd. DANIEL then brings me back 1200 pesos…. Like really just steal $20 dollars from me ????? I hate dishonesty and don’t respect the business or the employees . This was a TERRIBLE experience!!!! I hate I even gave this new restaurant an opportunity. I pray they won’t be in business long because they are ALL THIEVES!!!!! If I could have given 0 stars I would have . Go to hell DANIEL
