This restaurant inside Westin resort is absolutely beautiful. The bartenders, (Tonya &Michael) have great experience in their cocktail skills, they are always seem to enjoy their job and making the patrons smile. I love that coz the drinks looked amazing. The brick chicken and mashed potatoes was so yummy. The atmosphere is beautiful, fireplace inside and outside.
Ate great seafood at 20 Twenty! We ordered the smoked salmon nachos, crab cake, and prawns & grits. All the food tasted great. We sat on the dog friendly patio which has nice heaters. The service is great, very friendly and quick. Very nice hotel area surrounding where there is a large free parking lot. Recommend!
I enjoyed very tasty fish tacos for lunch today. My meal came out quickly and I had very friendly service too!

We had the scallops, salmon, asparagus, and mashed potatoes — all cooked to perfection. The smoked old-fashioned and house Cabernet were both excellent. Highly recommend for a classy night out or special occasion!
This place has one of the most solid Whiskey collections in a 100 mile radius Tanya made the experience amazing and we went back every night thanks to her accommodation and kindness!
We stay at Westin and Sheraton in Carlsbad every time we come back to San Diego on our home leave. Breakfast for Bonvoy elites is complimentary when you trade off welcome points - and there’s lots of options and it’s always filling. But what today’s experience over the top was our waiter Henry - friendly, great sense of humor and so attentive. Such a talented server. His smile and friendliness made our day amazing!
So good, great food and service and the whole resort is super awesome, I had the Spanish marg, the Carlsbad cocktail the miso cod and the mashed potatoes, everything was awesome and the vibe was laid back California, I suggest sitting on the patio and attire was everything to dressed up to casual to gym wear. Highly recommend, free shuttles and pick up request to take you back to your room are available as well ♥️
Staying at the hotel where the Restaurant is, no brainer… go eat there!!! Chef Jeremy Belshaw even stepped out of his kitchen to come and discuss his choices ! All the dishes I ate were of superb quality ! Design, ingredients , cooked to perfection !!! The wine list has no limits ! It is flawless !! I would take this chef and put him in the heaven of restaurants business! The sky is the limit !!!

Very nice staff and are on top of things. The food and service were great! Nice size portions of food. The drinks were tasty. You can eat inside or outside and they have heat lamps if you get chilly outside.

Additionally the plates when they come out really look to be done by a professional chef. They’re beautiful and so far, every time we’ve gone, the food has been delicious and prepared impeccably.
I have to say, I received the best customer service today. Dewey, my waitress, noticed I wasn’t feeling well and went out of her way to check on me and be genuinely kind. I truly hope her boss sees this because she is a 10/10 human being. Absolutely exceptional service.

Great food choices for breakfast. We didn't have dinner here so i wouldn't know. Stuff is very friendly. Our server Henry was very polite and attentive but not overbearing. Exceptional service!
This review covers several meals I had at 20|Twenty over the course of four days; overall I was very pleased with the quality of the food and service that I received here. The produce in particular was really fresh, as the fruit plates that I received were all perfectly ripe, sweet and freshly cut with a different variety every day. The salads were another highlight, especially the Caesar and the creamy dill dressing ones with the addition of grilled steak, which was not only well-seasoned and cooked to a perfect medium-rare level of doneness but was an actual decent portion of ribeye. So many “steak salads” get away with serving a tiny and bland 4oz. filet mignon with nary a grain of pepper or flake of salt atop a mound of greens and calling it a day - but this place actually means it when they offer a steak add-on to a salad. The size and tastiness of the steak alone necessitates an extra star Finally, there was a surprisingly delicious olive oil cake with fig compote on the dessert menu that really stood out. The compote seemed to be made of figs and orange marmalade, and I would literally it by the case to eat as an accompaniment on top of vanilla gelato, yogurt or pancakes/waffles/French toast/crepes if it was available for sale.

The swordfish was overcooked and dry, the topping was a bold Sicilian blend of olives, tomatoes and spices with breadcrumbs that overpowered the fish and he scraped it off. My scallops were cooked perfectly, but unfortunately they decided to paired them with undercooked pea tendrils that weren’t chewable and a base of puréed squash that didn’t complement the flavor of the scallops. The side grilled asparagus and the desserts, however, were delightful. I had the strawberry gelato and he had the lemon tart (temp replacement for the limoncello cake). Yum!!!

Overall this was a good place for a decent breakfast. We were there around 10:30 and they seemed to be understaffed so it took awhile to get seated, waited on and served. However, I wanted to give a "shout out" to the hostess, Kara. She went out of her way to make sure we were being accommodated. It was obvious that she wanted to make sure everyone was being taken care of. Thank you, Kara for being an outstanding hostess.
Stopped by for quick lunch during what seemed to be a slow time, seeing as we were the only table in the restaurant. The server was very friendly and we ordered right away. She came back shortly to let us know that they were out of the crab cakes and the beer we ordered. A bit after that she came back to let us know they had crab cakes again. All the food came out together including a med rare burger, which came out past well done. The crab cakes were the highlight of the meal as the scallops seemed a bit off and were a little too warm for my liking seeing as they were served crudo. We weren’t able to have the burger corrected in time as the server didn’t come back for a good while to check on us. When she did and I told her about the burger she simply said she would let the chef know for next time. I was a bit flabbergasted by that response but it might be because the kitchen was closed by that point. When she dropped off the check I noticed the burger was still on there and I waited for her to see why as I didn’t really eat it and it wasn’t cooked to temp. I went looking for the server and when I couldn’t find her I gave the check to the bartender to close out with him. Just not an overall good experience.

The timing of the service when they brought out foods was way off.The side dishes were served tepid and had to be sent back twice in order to get reheated , and that wasn't even done correctly as we had to keep on reminding them that they had our side dishes in the back. Dessert was served quickly, but it took about 10 minutes to get coffee.Dessert is supposed to be served with coffee. I guess if the service was excellent, the meal would have been acceptable.But it wasn't , and so it was a very expensive holiday dinner , and not worth a cost of $250 for 2 people.

Telling someone that the only tables available for breakfast are the high tables is ludicrous especially when there are several "regular" tables in view. Preferring a patron to turn around and leave instead of offering one of the regular tables is smug and pretentious. So disappointed...will have to consider calling a UBER to take me to and from breakfast. Update: same day...attempted to eat here for lunch. Was sat at a table but then waited for over 10 minutes and Noone came to my table to get my order. Got up and left. Will definately seek alternatives for the remainder of my stay. So disappointed...there was a time when the Westin was the epitome of customer service.

Additionally there was a bread item in the menu called “The Bread Experience”. Sigh…first: it took 40 minutes to get our drinks. It was not very busy, the restaurant looked to be about 1/3 full. When “The Bread Experience” arrived, it was one platter of bread consisting of two toasted pieces of rye toast cut in half and 3 small samplings of butter varieties. The menus specifically said there would be bread and buns and were only got one type of what was basically just toast. Also it took an hour from when we sat down to get that. Appetizers came out another 40 minutes later. We got 3 crabs which my family said it was hard to get the meat out of the shell. My pumpkin soup was hot and tasty though. Entrees took another 40 minutes after that. They were ok, but not with the wait. Then the desert, which mind you was just carrot cake and pumpkin pie’s à la mode. They weren’t warm, just four slices of cake and 4 scoops of ice cream. It took another 45 minutes to get that. All in all we were there for 3.5 hours. It was $110/person and the food was just not worth nearly that much. They were fine, above your average dinner food but you can have Michelin star meals for less money. They only comped our drinks (which were only had one drink each) and a 20% gratuity was automatically added for a party of 4. Other patrons experienced the same service issues. Unfortunately the food did not rise to the price despite the bad service. 3.5 hours bad. Also it was chilly on the patio after 3.5 hours.
