Fourth time here! Despite residing over 30 min away, Ciciotti’s is my favorite Italian restaurant. This time we had a different server, Sal. Sal is very personable, honest, and has a great personality. And like always, the food is very delicious and full of amazing flavors.

Staying near by and was looking for things to do and Cicciotti’s came up on Groupon. It was a nice place. Loved the atmosphere and good outdoor area. Service was good. It was not very crowded. We got a patio seat with our English Bulldog, Mushy. They gave him a bowl of water and a milk bone for his appetizer. Loved they had a dog menu and ordered a grilled meatball for Mushy which he devoured. I got the Cannelloni and my husband got the surf and turf. We were given Pappa al Pomodoro before our meal. It was delicious, with two types of bread. The steak with the surf and turf was a perfect medium rare. The butter and Gorgonzola sauce was a great addition. We wanted dessert so we ate half our meal and took the rest home with a tiramisu. Felt like it was a bit over priced, but still give a ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

I really enjoyed my time here came here for the happy hour with live music. The calamari was pretty decent. I wish it was crispier. Same thing for the bruschetta. The beer was very good

I’ve lived in the village for a couple of years and I always thought this place would be another semi good Italian restaurant (overpriced and underwhelming), but I was so wrong! We saw a promotion they were running so finally made it there this evening. The lasagna was legitimately the best lasagna I’ve ever had and I’ve had a ton of lasagna in my life. Even the bread and bruschetta style dipping sauce they provide free of charge was outrageously delicious. This place isn’t pretentious at all and to top it off the service was stellar. Highly, highly recommend!

A traditional Italian menu set in a modern space. You can tell the love and care put into each dish and the warning on the menu speaks volumes to ensuring they don't sacrifice the quality by saying if it is busy orders can take up to 40 minutes as everything is made from scratch. If you can't afford to take some time to appreciate the care they put in then come early or come later in the evening. And while the food is fantastic, the hospitality is equally attentive. This night due to a glitch one order did not come the same time as the rest of our dishes. The service recovery was beyond excellent as they gave the kids a little treat to make up for it. This was on top of attending to a wobbly table and constantly coming by to ensure we were always topped up with bread or ensuring we were done with our dishes. Highly recommend this restaurant.

Located just off the main drag of Carlsbad Village, this place is a gem with great indoor/outdoor dining, a fun bar scene, and a great happy hour (lots of options, rare for most places). Oysters for $1.50ea at happy hour are a steal and they are good (but sometimes do run out). Good cocktails and amazing wine list. Prices very reasonable. Parking is street only (no lot).

Went here for dinner with my spouse. We have been coming here for years but this was the first time we had an actual issue while dining in. We ordered the Quattro formaggio pizza, the cannelloni, and penne dello chef. The food was really yummy as usual and we love how there is a dog friendly patio with a doggy menu. However, when redeeming our Groupon voucher, the menu stated there is an 18% included gratuity (I have no problem tipping), and when Dave, our server, redeemed our voucher and brought back our updated bill, it included a 20% gratuity. I know it’s only 2%, but it’s the principle of that extra being forced on me when additional tipping is by choice. When we mentioned this, our waiter offered to give the money back. This was the only issue I have ever had out of all the years I’ve been coming as a regular customer. Other than that, the food is super flavorful, has tons of sauce, and is very fulfilling

This place a nice outdoor seating area. Our server was friendly and recommended some of her favorite dishes. I ordered the spaghetti al pomodoro frenco. The sauce was light which I love. You can't go wrong with that this dish. I also tried some of the ravioli d'aragosta. The sauce was pretty tasty but after a few bites this a dish that gets very heavy. Overall this not a bad spot to try. They had live music which is a plus for me.

The food was overall just ok in my opinion and very overpriced. I got the papperdelle and the lobster tail was dry and a bit gritty. I would expect more from a $42 dish. Overall cute atmosphere with live music and the server was very nice.

I was really looking forward to this place but sadly the waiter was inattentive and rarely checked on us. Didn't bring the desert menu like asked and I just decided to skip the desert all together. Food was pretty good but not worth the price. We added scallops to the dish and find that it's $20 extra only when the check came. No warning on that. Pasta was pretty good and sauce was great. But overall not worth the price for was we had. Location was cute area. But they had us sitting in a spot where there was a decline making it feel like you were going to fall and the chair wasn't comfortable. Noise though was reasonable. Would have loved to sit outside however those were all reserved even though through out our whole eating no one ever sat in those spots.
