We walked in without a reservation and we were seated immediately. If all they served was their hot fresh bread, I would have still been in heaven! Absolutely delicious, rich, flavorful food. Order everything and stay for the entertainment. Can't wait to go back with a bigger appetite.

I recently visited Dametra Cafe and had an amazing experience. The atmosphere is warm, lively, and welcoming, making you feel at home right away. The staff is incredibly friendly and attentive, always making sure everything is perfect. The food was absolutely delicious, full of flavor and beautifully presented. I especially enjoyed the Mediterranean dishes, which tasted fresh and authentic. The live music and entertainment created such a fun and unique vibe. Overall, this is a place I would happily come back to and highly recommend to anyone visiting Carmel.

I can’t even describe how amazing this place is! From the moment we walked in, the atmosphere was warm, lively, and welcoming. The staff, especially Eshak made us feel like family, and the energy of the restaurant is just incredible. The food… absolutely out of this world 🤩. Everything is so fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented. The Greek salad with warm pita was perfection — crisp veggies, creamy feta, and the most delicious dressing. Pair it with a glass of wine, and you’ll be in heaven. This is hands down one of the best dining experiences I’ve ever had. If you’re in Carmel, Dametra Café is a MUST - not just for the food, but for the unforgettable vibe and hospitality.

All around excellent experience and will be back again. The food- excellent. Just wanted to get that out first. Big platters of fresh delicious food. We got the combo platter and I was stuffed at the end of it. Highly recommend. The service was top notch as well. The servers were very nice and accommodating and really made sure you you were taken care of. The atmosphere of the place was so fun and exciting! They have live music which was actually pretty good, but it also kept the vibes chill and light. Overall it was a great time. Oh and the dessert was so good. This restaurant is a must visit.

Fairly speaking…. If I could put 6 stars, I would never hesitate!!!! Amazing restaurant, lovely staff and great owner!!! The place was super clean, the food was excellent ( tasty and generous) and the ambiance was like you were exactly living Lebanese night in Beirut!!! If you are in Carmel…. Dametra cafe is a must visit… try to be there on Wednesday and enjoy the live performance !!!!! We will be back soon

This charming Greek restaurant offers authentic flavours and an incredibly attentive staff. However, when we tried to book a table, we were informed that they don’t take reservations and only accept walk-ins. So, we decided to return when we were hungry. Unfortunately, upon our second visit, they informed us that we needed to make a reservation and the wait time was around 45 minutes. This was a major disappointment. Despite the wait, the restaurant’s lively atmosphere, complete with live music and dancing, made it worth the wait. Once seated, our service was prompt. After receiving our dishes, we discovered that they contained beef. Since I don’t eat beef, I expressed my concern, and the staff promptly replaced the beef with extra chicken without any complaint. Overall, I recommend this place to anyone in Carmel. The ambiance, the food, and everything else is simply delightful.

I tried the clam chowder for the first time, and it was pretty decent, flavorful and enjoyable. I also had the Shrimp and Crab Ravioli, Lamb Shish Kebab; the taste was good, but not worth the price. The food was excellent and we truly enjoyed the quality of the dishes. Unfortunately, the service was a completely different story. The waiter wearing the black sweater was extremely rude — truly one of the rudest interactions we have experienced in a restaurant. In general, several of the staff members seemed to give customers unpleasant looks, almost as if trying to pressure guests into leaving an overly generous tip rather than accepting feedback that reflects the level of service received.
