We have eaten here several times, breakfast and lunch. All food has been well prepared and delicious. Large portions. You won't leave hungry.
WOW, WOW, WOW!!!! What a score! Jeffrey's and Suzanne! Wanted to eat out of the micro-climate, went to Jeffrey's in Mid-Valley. Beautiful seating outdoors by the poppies, grasses and budding trees.(have indoors, too). Suzanne (sp?) came directly, what a beautiful being, elegant and willing to serve us. That started the blessing. Food, very good. Service from all (bussers and Will, new employee) all prompt, helpful, clean-cut, friendly, wonderful). We really enjoyed our meal! And Value! We had 2 entrees, one drink and one dessert all for @ $30!! Most restaurants (Carmel & area) would have charged closer to $70. Lunch shouldn't be that much and certainly more than we want to spend. Go to Jeffrey's, it's a heavenly experience!!!! Maybe you'll get to meet Suzanne. MCH, former host for Clint Eastwood PBH, former Head Pro/GM for Pebble Beach
Loved the covid safety measures! I'm glad they're keeping their employees and customers safe :). I had the TASTIEST omlette and mocha here. My family and I hope to become regulars here!
Had a brunch there today. Their Benedict was unbelievable creation. I’ve never had any comparable to that. Will return with my family
The food was delicious. And the staff was very quick and effective considering how busy it was. If I’m back in this area, I will return to this restaurant
Some of the best service I've ever had in my life. The staff all has a fun energy and confidence in their work, implying a healthy and quality management style and effective work-life balance/work expectations. The smoked salmon eggs Benedict was delicious and the prices are quite reasonable, especially given the location. Gets pretty crowded, so be wary if coming in larger groups at prime hours.
Jefferey’s came through for our last-minute catering needs and provided an amazing dinner (+ apps) for our group of 25! Paige was so helpful with making food choices based on our diverse food-needs group. Tony and Ray were wonderful chefs who prepared the food on-site and cleaned and packaged up leftovers for us as well. Wonderful food and great people.
We did a lot of business with Jeffrey's Grill this month. We carried out lunch several times, and it was delicious. I am particularly blown away by the dinner he created for my family during the holiday week. Each diner "oohed" and "ahhed" over the salmon, scalloped potatoes and vegetables. Jeffrey was a delight to work with. It was very reasonable price-wise. I will definitely be doing more business with Jeffrey in the future.Furthermore, I found all of Jeffrey's employees to be friendly and capable. I am especially grateful for his skill and this service.
Tucked into the corner of a strip mall, it is obviously a popular place with locals given at least 15 people waiting. We waited 20 minutes. I had pulled pork ranchero, and my husband had a seafood omelet. Neither of us was at all disappointed. Our server was happy and friendly. The coffee was hot and good. Our dog was happily at our feet with a water bowl provided and food that happened to drop to the floor.
I've been eating at Jeffrey's for over 20 years, and it's still my favorite local breakfast/brunch/lunch spot. I especially recommend the Lamb & Eggs -- try it, I guarantee you'll like it. The Wild Mushroom omelet is also outstanding, especially if you have them hold the cheese, but I've never been served anything there that wasn't great.
This is one of the local favorites. A menu that covers absolutely everything. I'm serious. Really, really good food served by attentive, friendly and interesting servers and prepared buy an incredibly well oiled machine of a kitchen. I've enjoyed pie, omelettes and beef stroganoff recently. Seriously unlimited menu. Outdoor seating is popular, so if you want to eat outside, come early or prepared to wait.
A hidden gem in the mid-valley, one of the best brunch spots in the Peninsula. Staff is always friendly and attentive, and the menu is extensive with numerous daily specials. Expect it to be busy on weekends, but well worth it.
Paige and her team did the catering for our wedding in Carmel Valley. Paige was awesome to work with, and offered me support throughout the planning process. Her team was very professional and we really enjoyed having them be our servers/bartenders etc at the wedding. The guests raved about how delicious the food was. I hope to be able to work with Paige again in the future.
From organizing the menu with Paige, I was drooling months in advance of our rehearsal dinner. Thankfully, when we showed up, it was just as delicious as we had been imagining. Paige was great to work with via phone and understood the price range I was working with. She planned a menu beyond what I ever could have expected in the same range. They are very informal with the planning process, but that worked well for me. Julie was our server, and she did a great job of setting up the buffet spread before our party started. Julie worked really hard to not throw any stress onto my husband or me when the inevitable things went a little wrong (i.e. we couldn’t find the napkins or coffee cups we brought). Grandparents were quick to turn to my husband and myself with problems, but Julie was working to figuring things out without alarming us wherever she could. As a testament to Jeffrey’s quality: our friends were scheming/stealing bags of cookies from each other at the end of the night, because they were just that good.
Always busy, always great food. Backed by excellent service. Plus, most times you'll bump into the proprietor, Jeffrey himself. Doubtful you'll ever meet a nicer guy, even when he's busy making sure everything's running right! Always a smie on his face. I love this place.
Stopped in for brunch, the bagel and lox was excellent. Nice shaded patio. Good service and a peaceful atmosphere.
Filling portions at a great price, friendly staff, and a nice outdoor seating area in the sunshine. The breakfast burritos were delicious!
A delicious and necessary breakfast spot for the Carmel Valley. It's unassuming, and incredibly affordable for high quality ingredients on a huge and creative menu. Don't miss if you are in the area for the weekend.... one of the breakfast spots to try, for sure.
Best breakfast we've had in a while! The service was outstanding and the quality of the food just amazing, especially for that price! Would love to come back here!
Over the past ten years I've eaten there about seven times (lunch with my colleagues), and I must say that the baby back ribs, fries, salad, etc., are fantastic. The service was top-notch as well.
Best breakfast you can find in the area. Delicious and creative specials every time I visit. Excellent prices for quality of food and services as well! Had the pulled pork huevos rancheros and apple fritters this morning 😍
Delightful and attentive wait staff and delicious food. A couple in my party had brought their 13 month old standard poodle since we dined outside, and the staff catered to her too.
One of my favorite breakfast places in all of the valley! I have been eating at Jeffrey's for a few years now and I've never been disappointed! The catering that I've experienced is also phenomenal
Wonderful breakfast food experience and amazing customer service from our server Mauro. Highly recommend as you won't be disappointed. Great food Great Service and Great value
This place is great! I've been in the area for almost two months and have eaten here quite a bit. A local did a real solid pointing me here! I never remember to take my pictures BUT today I had to post my after eating photos! I don't think you can possibly find a better quality more reasonably priced hamburger. They call it their mesquite burger and it is served with the straw fries, a pickle, lettuce and tomatoes for $9.25 on their daily menu. My hardly eaten salad is their house salad, not what they call it, but it is $5.25, mixed greens, tomatoes, croutons and their house made spiced pecans. I bought a bag of those, they lasted three days!! The food here is actually good quality and priced very reasonably. Dollar pancakes for .95 a piece! and they are actually good, like they make their own batter and put some kind of good extract in it. Yum. Like home guys! I mean if you can cook. ;)
Neighbor recommended, worth the extra time to get there. Tons of selections on the standard menu and add another weekend menu full of special offers. Food was excellent and arrived very quickly, service was good. Arrived when there was no line to get in, but can be long lines on weekends.
We love this place! It's one of my favorites in the Monterey Carmel area. It's open only for lunch and breakfast. The menu is very unique. It's one of the few places I have ever seen lamb and eggs on the menu. Everything is really good and in most cases more creative than other standard lunch or breakfast places. Really make a move I had link sausage with apple fritters and a side of over easy eggs. My wife had a half an order of eggs benedict Everything was great! When you look at the pictures there's a thermal mug on the table. It holds warm maple syrup which is meant to be poured onto the apple fritters.
If you like pancakes, this is the place to be. I'm normally a guy who likes a breakfast or brunch with salty ingredients, but this place has me questioning myself
The food here is really good. Love coming here.
What an amazing breakfast place. We were a group of 20 and had great service.

Really great food and coffee 😋
This place was phenomenal, super friendly staff and a lovely young girl hosted our table. Some suggestions for what to try are their cappuccinos which were so good that we ordered three a person. The Apple fritter is to die for, it’s not too sweet and has a nice little twist as it isn’t like a traditional Apple fritter. I’d also recommend the Benedict because well eggs Benedict are so good and they executed the dish so well. This place is a favorite for my family!
Jeffrey's is our favorite breakfast spot when in Carmel. Our family has enjoyed meals at this location the past ten years when visiting Carmel. They offer indoor and outdoor seating. You will not find friendlier staff than at Jeffrey's. They treat you like family. They have a big menu offering breakfast and lunch all day. You cannot go wrong with their Eggs Benedict as they are all amazing. My husband gets the classic and I have tried many of their daily special options. The portobello, spinach and avacado one is my favorite but they have all been delcious. Just ask for light hollandaise sauce or for it to be on the side as they can go a bit heavy. We also substitute the side of potatoes for a side of fruit. The berry pancakes are another favorite of ours. The hot chocolate and European latte are our favorite beverages. Jeffrey's is a special place and is worth checking out when visiting Carmel.
We live in Fort Worth so this was our first visit. We both ordered vanilla lattes and they were huge in big cup and tasty. I asked our waitress to tell me what she’d recommend her father order. She said he was there last weekend and she recommended the lobster omelette. I ordered it with the home fried potatoes. I’ve eaten hundreds of omelettes. I cannot remember one as good. The seafood tasted great and the cheese was just right. It wasn’t overwhelming. It was just right and the crispy potatoes were awesome. Prices are reasonable and the staff is super friendly. We will be back tomorrow before leaving Carmel Valley.
What a pleasant experience with family and friends. The food was very good even when splitting meals. It is busy. Jeffrey's is open for breakfast and lunch.
Jeffrey’s provided lemonade for volunteers at California Roots. It was so yummy and refreshing and providing for the volunteers is so special and means the world to us! Highly recommend if you want some good food and kind hearts.
We went for breakfast on a Sunday and they were very busy but we got a table quickly and the service was prompt. Our server was extremely friendly. My wife had the black bean vegetarian chili with polenta which she enjoyed. I has a chorizo omelette. It was great, plenty of spice, melted cheese on top, and home fried potatoes on the side. The coffee was excellent and we noted that they serve a wide variety of coffee drinks. The decor is dated with a 80s vibe, but very clean and comfortable. A bit cramped when all the tables are full.
Can't say enough good things about this place! Food was fantastic - the grilled chicken sandwich was excellent, with a wonderful side salad, and the omelette and crepes were great too, with a nice choice of fruit on the side. The servers were friendly and attentive, and brought a bowl of water to our dog. A hot day elsewhere, there was a great cross breeze through the courtyard, which has lovely flowers and a fountain. We will definitely be back!

Food was really good but not a lot of choices. I thought they were a little skimpy on the serving size for the price.
First time here. I was waiting for my dogsbtonget groomed and decided to eat lunch. I enjoyed their outdoor seating on this really warm day. Had a grapefruit mimosa. I asked the server which he though was better the crabs egg bene or the prawn & crab quesadilla. So I went with his recommendation. The portion was huge. Wasn't a fan of the salad on the plate with everything. Pecans stood out on them though they were tastey. Didn't have alot of room to move things around on my plate. He came back out and I asked for sour cream. It seemed like he instantly forgot after acknowledging that they do have it. He never came back to check in again. There was another gentlemen that kept checking on me from the beginning off and on so that was nice. The quesadilla had a ton of onions and bell peppers. Very little cheese. But also, I never saw any crab in it. Also, when you think prawns which are generally alot larger then the small shrimp I am pretty sure I didnt get prawns either as they were pretty small. Overall not very satisfied with the quesadilla. Won't be getting that again thats forsure. I like the location and they have alot of options on their menu so ill certainly give it another try.

A few miles down Carmel valley road - we've been coming here for years when staying in the Monterey area. Food still great, apple fritters recommended. Place starting to look a bit worn. Lots of outdoor seating - not a big place, though no waiting for a seat this trip. For some reason, I took no pictures.
Meet my girlfriend here as a midway point for coffee and breakfast. Both are great. Good size servings and coffee keeps coming. We eat out on the patio which I like that option.

Small restaurant with indoor and outdoor seating in a small shopping center with Safeway store and other small shops. Service was slow on the Sunday lunch hour as it was very busy, but seating was prompt. Breakfast menu includes dishes with seafood.
The food was delicious! The service however, left a lot to be desired. The young woman who served us was quick to tell us that they were closing at 2:30 and although she delivered our food, never once came back to check on us, but she made sure to tell me not to bother leaving a tip because I was rude to her. We got there at 2:10 and were done by 2:38, so it wasn't crowded & there was another customer who came after us. We would have been there earlier but were delayed by the construction going on at CV Rd/Laureles Grade. Our apologies for being late.
We have been coming for 15 years and lately it has been very disappointing. First of all how come two times, we found pieces of food in a dish that does not have any of the food we ordered. Are we getting potatoes from left over? Also, none of the food was warm today, just lukewarm. We came to celebrate Mother’s Day but it wasn’t what we are used to. The service was good. It is usually good there. Of course, Covid made a big change in the staff. All the servers we knew for years left. We won’t be back soon sadly.
Mediocre food. Wait person took forever to serve us and take our order. I asked 3 times for mustard for my hamburger. Never got it. Wait person never came back to check on us except to bring the bill, then had the audacity to ask us to finish up, as he needed our table! WILL NOT BE BACK!!!
Our realtor bought us some nuts from this place however upon eating I found a metal wire and could have swallowed it. I called and emailed with no response. I will not be buying nuts or eating at their restaurant in the future. Very poor customer care and follow up.
We stopped to have breakfast this morning party of four (locals) and the hostess/waitress was so rude upon arrival - she made us feel. Unwelcome! Will never go back!
Went a while back for a nice breakfast with some friends, food was good but the staff was incredibly hostile. When it came time to pay they refused to honor a gift certificate and implied that we had forged it. So weird… the change in ownership is ruining what used to be a great spot in CV
I really liked going to this restaurant, the food is good, but I had a bad experience this last time. We arrived and they sat us down and they took a long time to take our order which I understand because they were busy and even though we arrived first they took our order last, I brought my own coffee and since it took them a long time to give us the food, they very kindly offered us a splash of coffee I thought what a good detail because they are taking a long time and it turns out that the waiter charged me for 2 regular coffees without letting me know.
