Pizza Factory Monterey

We stopped here on our way back home after a long day of tourism and beach activities. Let me just say,,,, myself, my wife, and kids agree this is the best pizza we’ve ever had. The crust is amazing, the toppings/cheese ratio is perfect, and it isn’t wildly greasy like other pizza spots. Worth every $ and we’ll be making this a regular spot when we’re down in Monterey!!!

Pizza was absolutely delicious! Also had a salad that was very large for the price. The staff was super friendly. I highly recommend this place even though it's a little ways from the main tourist spots.

First time visiting this chain in a long time. This location is small but very cool. Met the owner/manager, (not sure his correct title), who was very friendly and extremely personable and had no problem coming around the counter to talk to us and answer any of our questions. His smiling, friendly wife was also behind the counter and they made a great duo. Service was fast, courteous, and they were also very accommodating when we asked to put the football game on the tv. There are two large TVs in this long dining area, and a couple of picnic tables outside. The place is very clean, and looked brand new although it's been there for a while, which tells me they really take care of their restaurant. We asked for the pizza extra well done so it came out really crispy and delicious, but I think I'm going to try it in the regular baking time to appreciate the dough more. The price was fair and worth every penny. Tried the breadsticks and they were also delicious. When paying, I saw the chicken alfredo and instantly regretted ordering pizza because it looked so dang good. Of course I enjoyed the pizza thoroughly though, lol. I asked if they did fundraisers for schools and they said they did which is a bonus. We also ordered a pitcher of beer which was ice cold and delicious. Can't wait to come back.

My wife and I decided to place an order that I could pick up after work. Their pizza and calzones are excellent!👌 The ingredients were high quality and their small pizzas were more than enough for an adult to have for dinner. Definitely going back!

For a guy who has grown up eating NYC pizza, this is one of the better spots I’ve found on the west coast. Lucky me I only live a few blocks away. Great pizza to call in and takeout during COVID-19. A little pricey but support businesses like these when you can!

Me and my wife come to this pizza place every time we come to Monterey. This time we came was are 45th Anniversary.and again super great pizza. So if your down that way give them a try. ;+)

Hot fresh and fast. Nice service. No crowd. Had some decent Chicken Alfredo.

Tried their small vege pizza , costed 15 dollar plus tax. The ovwr all taste is hardly 3 out of 5.

Don't waste your money, this place stinks. Ordered online for pickup and upon walking in it's a bad sign when only one customer is there... Same quality if not worse than little caesars cheap pizza. Cheesy garlic bread is all cheese, no garlic and very flavorless. BBQ pizza is low quality tasting and not impressive with flavors or crust. Definitely mad I wasted my money on this. It's edible, but I won't be back.

I was so excited to get Pizza Factory for my birthday. The woman who answered the phone was hard to understand. I struggled to get through my order but did it. Told it would be ready in 20 minutes. Show up 20 minutes later to find out either they gave my order to someone else or they never made it. The woman seemed very disgruntled in her job. They offered to make my pizza and I waited for it. When pizza was finished, the angry woman proceeded to charge me 40 dollars for 1 large pizza and overcooked breadsticks! No discount or anything!! The pizza is overpriced and I am beyond disappointed! I will drive to Salinas for Pizza Factory from now on!

UPDATE: Restaurant replied and claimed to have spoken to me on the phone, even though I was never able to get in touch. Nor did they reach out to me. As well, the charge still went through and hasn't been handled. Absolutely unacceptable and stole my money. Ordered for delivery from the website, was charged and received a receipt. Half an hour after the already long 1 hour quoted delivery time: no pizza, no contact, no notification of any issue. Decided to call multiple times and was unable to get anyone on the phone or anything - yet I've still been charged. Absolutely ridiculous.
