Quick fast service, good food fresh. The only thing order taken was not very thorough asked for ketchup when ordered but when delivered never brought it. Had to go back and get some. Otherwise good experience.
Their new xl steak and cheese is pretty great. Always good with drinks and the server was pleasant. Enjoy sonic a few times a month for a treat.

I live one mile from a Sonic in Prosper, TX and drive right by that one to go to the Sonic in Celina, TX. With food from Celina, I've never gotten sick. Celina's food tastes good and the staff are friendly and nice. I think this reflects positively on the management.
Who ever this Evan kid is you guys have working for you needs a raise! This kid is car hopping all by himself and he is killing it. Doing a damn good job by himself, especially on a Saturday night.

I have been to several Sonics that mess up orders, are slow, or just rude. This location however, got our orders correct, our food was out fairly quickly and they were very friendly.
My niece who turned 8 wanted to go to Sonic for her birthday lunch. We sat outside and when our car hop brought us our food, I told him that it was her birthday. The car hop was so nice and he wanted to make sure that my niece enjoyed her birthday lunch. He asked what her favorite ice cream was. After a few minutes, the car hop brought out an ice cream sundae.. My niece was so surprised. Right before we left, a gentleman came out and gave my niece coupons for free food and ice cream. The look on my nieces face. Thank you Sonic for making my niece feel so special on her birthday. If I could give you more stars I would.
Dewey is the manager of this sonic and he was an absolute blessing! Me and my fiancée went to pay and out of nowhere our card was not working so we explained to them that we can not pay and that they would have to take the food back, he then came outside and told us he would give us the food anyways. We were stunned! Thank you so much❤️
I love the burgers and the GROOVY FRIES!!!! Ordering on the app makes it so convenient, I often stop here purely for that reason. And the groovy fries 🤭 I always get an extra order for the ride home. Otherwise when I get home is have nothing to eat with my burger!🫣
Great Sonic location. Good food, fast and courteous service. Last night, my husband and I were there ordering dinner. A young man was coming out to deliver our food, and he almost slipped and fell in the doorway. We didn't see it, but the way he reacted when he got to our car had us laughing all night! I don't know the young man's name, but thank you for the laughs, sir!
Every time I go to this Sonic location, I have an amazing experience! The staff, food quality, cleanliness, and fast service are consistently better than most other Sonic locations in my area. Great job!

My husband stops by often while at work, in the mornings. He's not a big fan of breakfast, so he'll get a burger and fries at 9am. Every single time, without fail, the food is hot, fresh and even with customizations, always as ordered. The staff is friendly and always helpful. In this day and age when everything costs more and customer service can be spotty, it's awesome to know that the Sonic in Celina absolutely knocks it out of the park every time

First class service! The second we went to see menu, a wonderful manager came and greeted us with such a warm. Then he asked how we’re doing and made sure everything is fine. It was my very first sonic experience and I’M LOVING IT! Food was outstanding! Grilled cheese and pickle fries exquisite. Wish we had such people in Poland!

Wide menu, with huge variety of burgers, dogs, tater tots, onion rings, fries, and DESERTS! Great ice cream offerings, and slushies not to be beat. THE most expensive ocean cream money can buy, but I keep doing it on a regular basis.

It's no Arbys! Bench seats were a little wobbly and my friends almost cracked her head open and died!! But the tots are fricking awesome and love their happy hour shakes!
Food is typically hot and fresh. There is times where onion rings and French toast sticks are old and cold. But always have great customer service and friendly car hops.
It's sonic, you get what you pay for, maybe a little over priced these days. Not my favorite burger stop but the drinks as always are amazing
Kudos to the manager for honoring the App specials over the red push button. The new App is terrible. It keeps directing me to the McKinney location and won't let me change the location to Celina.
Often times people leave reviews based on bad experiences, but I’m leaving a review based on a common good experience I have with the morning crew here. I come to this Sonic often for breakfast or when I’m wanting something to eat. Taylor and there is a man as well which I didn’t catch his name who are the morning workers they are always so professional! They are always kind and deliver good service from my experiences. Often times people don’t get praised enough when they do right and only called out when they do wrong. So I just wanted to acknowledge here that Taylor and her male co worker who works with her in the mornings always give great service and seem to be very professional! Keep the good works y’all! It’s day and night comparison from the service delivered in the morning vs if you go in the afternoon or night. Morning crew is awesome!
The last 3 times I have ordered hamburgers there has been something missing or items taken off have been there.. ie cheeseburger with no cheese or hamburger remove ingredients onions lettuce etc but when I got my sandwich home it was loaded Maybe re attention to orders need to be observed I like Sonic but this is a bit much
It was ok, I ate my one of two hot dogs for the year, with chili cheese and onion, and I do love their diet cherry limeades best of anywhere
Forgot our cheese for the pretzel and the marinara for the cheese sticks. But we generally are satisfied and eat here 1x month.
Food is nothing special, as with all Sonics. But it’s always reliable, never bad.
Our order of onion rings had hardly any onions, mostly just slivers of thin dehydrated onions and hard breading.
Half of order was not delivered. Had to wait for it to be made so then the rest of the food was cold by the time we ate. Disappointing for our first visit to the Sonic.
This location is hit or miss in the sense that you never know if you're going to get good quality food or bad quality food when you decide to eat here. It really is a 50/50 chance good or bad. so for those risk takers out there, this is your spot!
Not their best day -midday . With the big juicy sign on the screens- I received the double cheeseburger . Old as the hills - it may have been juicy at 11:30 - but at 3 pm , not so much . Also advertised condiments of mayo and ketchup were missing . Service kid was polite .and I tipped well. I wasted the money on the burger.
I eat at Sonic regularly, but this was the first time I ate at this one in particular. I ordered two crispy chicken sandwiches and tater tots. The food was edible, but not great. It all tasted like the oil was old and in need of replacing. Nothing like the Sonic restaurants I typically go to.
Love Sonic but this location consistently burns or over cooks food to the point of inedible. They do great with ice cream and shakes but we stopped coming for cooked food after the 5th char experience.
Got home and food was not what I ordered. I take some blame for not checking it before I left. Carhop was nice and so was manager on duty when I called about it. Food will be replaced.
Ordered a Blast with Reese's. 80% Reese's. I could swear that ice cream is cheaper than Reese's but I guess not. I hate to be picky, but this kind of thing is pretty consistent in my experience w/ this location.
No gloves , No masks , No proper customer service, i ordered coke with less ice and they filled it with ice and when i asked for refill they said sorry we dont offer refills . honestly its not worth for ordering
They mess up your orders a lot and they good is two greasy I like buger fixins way better they don't mess up your orders at all
Could've been just a bad night. Food was below normal, but the worst problem here is the service. At 9pm, with almost no other customers, it took over half an hour to get 4 drinks & one order of mozzarella sticks. Servers were unfriendly & having some kind of conflict between them. One of them spent the whole time we were there talking to the guy in the pick-up next to us telling him how awful her job is & how she hated working there.
Bought a couple of milk shakes. About have the cup was whipped cream - not milk shake! Therefore not worth the price. No more Sonic milk shakes for me.
Order tonight a combo with a RT 44 drink it was 3/4 full. Pay for a RT 44, get a large drink. Staff changes to much. I think the management runs some of the lady's off. Last three time's I was there. There is something wrong at this location.
This location has a tendency to get orders wrong, be extremely slow and to open late/close early. We also have to tell them when they are supposed to be doing Happy Hour, versus them, as employees just knowing. Sonic should do better at bringing out new items.
There have been multiple times I order a Sprite Zero(Diet Sprite) and the Sonic employees give me regular sprite! Today the service was rediculous! It was slow, they gave me the regular Sprite AGAIN, did not include things on my mobile order, and did NOT answer the Red Button even after pressing it twice a few minutes apart. I am on a strict diet and was gaining weight. My wife tasted the drink and confirmed it is in fact Full Calorie/Sugar Route 44 Sprite which is unexceptable. I have become very disappointed with Sonic's service and consistency. In the past I have been very grateful to have a place that served a refreshing Zero Sugar Sprite as I am restricted on sugar intake. Thank you for listening and taking this seriously into consideration for the health of all.
Waited over 20 mins for drinks!! And paid online!!!!! Usually they are quick not sure what’s going on this time!
Wow! The person that took my order needs an attitude adjustment or shouldn’t be working in customer service. First, I started ordering and immediately was asked “what else” right after every item without giving me a chance to continue. It was like they were mad I was ordering at all. Second, I asked a simple question and their response to be was, “what?….umm…uh…yea that is how it comes” like I asked I stupid question and should have known better to ask. Finally got our shakes and blasts and all were melting and not even filled to the top like they normally are. And ice cream was all over the outside of the cups. You need to train the employees better or you will not have returning customers.
Slowest Sonic around 30 minutes to get an app order of a drink. Kids working had zero sense of urgency!
Fast service but very rude staff. The girl who took my order acted bothered that I was there and the carhop handed me the bag said "here" and walked off.
Should not take 10 minutes to get a drink! May have been expected during happy hour but not when there are only 5 cars.
Went for drinks. 2. They took 45 minutes to bring them out. The wrong size. And friend said her coke was flat. So was my water.
If someone is there, the orders are wrong or the are over cooked. On our last burgers the meat was burnt.

Manager was disrespectul during one of our previous visits. As veterans, my husband and I believe in mutual respect so that never sat well with us. Furthermore, we just visited at 11:30 when they close at 12 and nobody took our order even though all the lights are on. Not going back for a while if at all.
The customer service has declined, the girls are rude . Especially the girls in the morning. They need a manager who will actually teacher their staff customer service and how to talk to people . The girl just told me what do you mean after I told her I want 3 hot fudge sundaes
New sonic app is terrible, only works half the time. And the gift cards need a way to get rid of balances less than $1...ie donate to charity. Very disappointed
I came to get lunch on Monday July the 29th at 11:45am. It took a minute to greet me, and when they did they informed me that they were unable to take my other at that time? Make it make sense!
Zero stars if I could give them. Gravy was watery, no one checked till I called to complain about it. No onion rings wasn't given a choice on the side. Not happy and cooperate has been contacted. Refused the food as it smelled nasty and burnt and guess what it was
Not the one to complain but it’s the third time my burger is wrong and charged for the add ons that were not added on. If you want Sonic drive to the Prosper one or check your bag fully before leaving.

Terrible! Terrible! Terrible! Chicken strips were not fully cooked. Fries appear to be this morning's batch. Gravy was clear - Not creamy! Employees stood outside talking to friends in the car next to me. I will not be returning.
If I could give zero stars... I would... maybe even negative! Manager argued that my cookie dough and Oreo chocolate shakes weren't plain vanilla. Every experience with this place just gets increasingly worse... Just ridiculous!
3rd time I have come around 9:30 and they are nit serving ice cream. Probably won't try anymore.
Came here around 9:30pm tonight. Usually go to the one in Prosper, but service sucks there. If I could give zero stars I would . . . One of the employees is talking to someone he knows that’s in an stall near front door, which perfectly fine, except it’s a non-stop slur of profanity. “Some version of “f...” or “s...” every other word and loud enough that my younger kids could hear it through a closed window 3 stalls away. Then his buddy coworker snorts and spits something nasty on the ground by the front door as he’s changing the trash bag, and of course, he and his trash mouth coworker think it’s funny as hell. I work in construction industry and have teenage kids - I can deal with foul languages and typical teenage stupidity, but never in front of customers and certainly not when young kids could be present. They also commented that they were planning on shutting their kitchen off early and refusing orders at 9:30pm. Probably doing customers a favor by turning them away. Oh . . . did I mention that my order wasn’t complete either, but I wasn’t in mood to put up with it any longer.
They didn't give us our loaded fries, so we asked again if they could bring them to us but they ended up bringing us regular fries so my brother went up and gave them the receipt and asked if we could get the fries we ordered. eventually we got the fries but the next day both me and my brother were throwing up sick. we know it was the fries because my boyfriend came with us aswell but didn't get those fries and never got sick. when they gave my brother the fries they said "we made them nice and fresh for you" not sure if that means anything but yeah. now me and my brother have been throwing up 👍🏻
Every time I try to use the app they claim their internet is out . Guess they are not taking credit or debit payments. When I asked are you not taking app orders they laughed and said no . This place is shady.
Horrible service. They got my order wrong TWICE. Yesterday I asked for a root beer with cherries and there was no cherries. And today I asked for a pretzel and I didn’t get my Damn Pretzel!!!!!!! I am eating this a thumbs down. And the order station was broken. I am so angry. 😡😡😡😡
Well when we first pressed the red button the girl was quit rude answering, than as we explained what we wanted to order she sighs and asks is that all... Rude people 😒 Customer service is definitely a different thing now days.
Literally never get an order right. And it's not because they can't hear the order well or something. We order on the app! How hard is it to read a ticket? This place is only open because there are only 3 fast food spots in town.
DRIVE BY THIS PLACE IS HORRIBLE! They hire school kids who goof off. It’s nasty, they never clean. They are always out of things. They screw up the order over and over. I have gone there many times thinking I might get lucky. I’m sure the owners do not care. Drive further down the road in either direction for a better experience.
Ordered medium mozzarella sticks with marinara sauce. Paid for four sauces because that's what makes their cheese sticks edible (choices in this town on a Sunday are limited if you are in a hurry.) They overcooked the cheese sticks (not unusual) and shorted me on the sauce. No big deal. Pushed the button to ask for my sauce and was ignored three times in a row. Flagged a carhop down to ask for what I had paid for and was rudely told "We charge extra for that." Yeah, I paid for it. You shorted me. Very rude location. Terrible food.
Sonic has been on a massive decline for years but they are just dead to me now. The level of quality is so bad. Service is the worst. Food always cold or wrong. It's sad but bye sonic...RIP
My family and I love our Sonic food and its a shame that this Sonic in Celina is the only one and I do mean the only we always have a problem constantly. I've had cups with slashed bottoms spilled beverages all over my new truck, constant burn food been served to us with in the same week. This place needs a very responsible adult management or supervisor in play, not just kids that dont care about quality food service. Who ever the owner is I wish you would run this Sonic store like every other store my family and myself think it could be, better.
The servers are kind enough. I just wish the intercom speakers worked. We literally repeat our order so often, it gets annoying. 6/7/2022: just bought two sonic blasts asked for oreos and if they could add cheesecake for one and near the end of it was something clear and sour, it was disgusting. I think I'm just done with this sonic. 10pm: threw up. I assume it was spoiled dairy...never again...
I don’t go to sonic often, but the several times I have in the past year or two they have gotten at least one thing on our order wrong every single time. Got charged for a bacon cheeseburger tonight, it had no bacon. One order was missing cheese, one was missing mustard and pickles. All of those items were listed on the receipt, but they weren’t on the meal. I also waited 20 minutes for the food.
If I was to give it no stars I would, been here multiple times and every single time my order is messed up. They need new management and a new crew. This is fast food make it FAST! Do not go there unless you want to wait for 30-40 mins.
I work right next to sonic but everytime I get attitude in some way. For some reason. I wish I was joking or saying I don't know why when I know why. But I'm 100% confused as to why I get poor customer service. When it comes to food or drinks. Or when I ask for a little extra wip she's said "no" after a long pause I said "that's alright I appreciate you trying" not in a rude or sarcastic way. Then she follows up with "sorry we can't provide your every wish" in a demeaning tone. Confused and in awe. This is a build up of disrespect in small ways but first time was 100% stright up rude. Been going here for months. There is ONLY 2 people that have not been rude but have been always kind to me. Times are from 5pm to 9pm

Placed an order online and 25 min after checking in, I have to call an employee over. It took another 10 min for me food to come out. And the fries were cold. Super disappointed.
This is the worse location! I quit buying food and drinks here awhile back. Today I went for ice and only got a bag alittle over half way full. Really? You can't even manage to fill a bag of ice up full? Come on do better. I'm done with this location. We are done with Sonic. The quality just isn't there anymore. 😞
Waited 15 min for food. Left without anything. This place used to be awesome. Won’t be at a sonic again until they realize how bad they’ve fallen off and fix it.
The car hop Riley thought she was entitled to a tip I had given her a $20 bill to pay my 11.70 order and only came back with six dollars. I never said she could have this tip and she just took it. She had brown hair and was short. The sad thing is I would have given her a tip until I noticed that.
The new smash burgers have been out for a while now. I’ve had them at several locations and they are great for a fast food burger. The last two times I have visited the Celina, TX sonic they have tried to pass off regular burger patties smashed to crap and broken as a smash patty. When I asked the manager if they were out of these patties, they made me a new one the same way and said “sorry it wasn’t smashed to your liking”. There is a difference in their smash patties and their trash regular patties. The manager is obviously too lazy, or bad at their job to order the correct patties. Will not eat there again and don’t recommend you either if you are looking for the new smash burgers.
Update — As if things could not get worse, $7 for a tea and a soda. And that’s BEFORE you add a tip. You can’t make this stuff up. 😂😂 I've been a patron of this Sonic location for five years. The servers are always polite and personable, but the food is always hit or miss (with more misses than hits unfortunately). Overcooked tots, burritos so salty or greasy they are inedible. Your safe bet is always the coney, they are always good. Again I don't blame the employees they are all great, I just think there is somewhere along the path from the freezer to the tray where the process could be improved so that the food quality is more consistent. Edit: Lowered review because I’m tired of getting home and my order is wrong, tired of not getting the sauces I asked for. I have decided to no longer visit this location.
