I like this place. I came on a Friday happy hour and it was pretty busy. The menu is extensive and has lots of options. The beer selection is good (they are a brewery but have other options as well) including church music and kiltlifter. Their own beers are hit or miss for me I couldn't finish the sample of tatonka stout but the committed double IPA was pretty good. They have happy hour from 4 to 7 (Monday to Friday) and also from 9 to close (Sunday through Thursday). I was able to get a titos vodka martini for 6 dollars (limited to 1.5 ounces, but still). They don't have blue cheese stuffed olives but that's just a personal preference. The sliders were good but if you add cheese it's 1.99 extra, not a big deal, but on happy hour 7 dollar sliders it's probably not worth the upcharge. The sliders were good and I imagine the regular burgers would be great. They have different specials everyday and I might have gone with the prime rib special if I had a huge appetite. Stop by if you are in the area the full menu and happy hour menus are attached.

If Michelin ever decided to loosen its tie and judge restaurants based on joy per dollar, BJ’s would quietly collect a star and pretend it didn’t notice. Let’s begin with the architecture of generosity: Happy hour runs 3–7, Monday through Friday, because restraint is overrated. Then—like a well-timed encore—Sunday through Thursday brings a reverse happy hour from 9–11, a gift to night owls and the fiscally wise. Now the numbers, because math can be delicious: $7 for a 22-ounce house beer. Not a tasting pour. Not a thimble. A proper beer. $7 appetizers—five solid choices—or a personal pizza with up to four toppings, because customization is a human right. And let me be clear: these are full appetizers. No dainty, existentially insulting portions. No “chef’s interpretation” of hunger. These plates arrive with confidence. Weekdays? Even better. Monday through Friday meal deals: $13 + tip, eight options, and—this part matters—a cookie dessert. Not a cookie. Many cookies. Choices. Freedom. Democracy. Sundays bring Game Day happy hour, which somehow manages to be both lively and civilized. A rare feat. BJ’s is solid even outside the deals—big portions, dependable quality—but what elevates it is something Michelin never quite measures: inclusion. This is a place where everyone at the table can eat well, drink well, and relax—including the friends on a budget—without anyone feeling awkward, sheepish, or quietly starving. Good beer deals matter. Good food matters. A place that lets everyone show up comfortably? That matters most. This isn’t just a restaurant. It’s our go-to. And frankly, it earns that status every single time.

We were first timers. We weren't store what to expect. There was a 15 minute wait to get a table. Our server knew the entire menu. His recommendations were good. We ordered the sampler to start. It came with 5 wings, 4 mozzarella sticks, 2 sliders, and spinach artichoke dip. We ordered our entrees. My son got the tri tip and shrimp scampi. My wife got the bbq bacon brisket cheeseburger and fries. I got the half rack of ribs, with mashed potatoes and a bread bowl of clam chowder. We also ordered a gluten free pizzookie. The flavors were amazing, the service was excellent. We will definitely be back to try the rest of the menu.

I recently visited BJ’s Restaurant with my friends and was really impressed with the food. I had the Clam Chowder soup which was so flavourful and I also had the Blackend Atlantic Salmon dish as main course. The flavors were on point, and everything tasted fresh and well-prepared. The dishes had a great balance of taste and seasoning. The only downside was the atmosphere—while the restaurant itself is nice, the music was a bit too loud, which made it hard to have a comfortable conversation at the table. If the volume was turned down just a notch, it would’ve been a perfect dining experience. Overall, I’d definitely recommend BJ’s for the delicious food, but be prepared for a lively (and sometimes noisy) environment.

The service was quick, despite a packed house. We had a party of three during a busy Saturday, but was seated in less than 10 minutes. The serving sizes were generous. Food selection was great, everyone found something. Our server was very nice and kept topping off our soft drinks.

We ordered the sampler, smash burger, and a monkey bread pizookie and everything was wonderful! Every time we go here the experience is always great and every meal is fresh and flavorful.

Food here at BJ’s is always good. They have a $13 meal where you can get a meal and a Pazooki. Good customer service and good food.

Visited BJs on a Friday at 7p with reservation and we're seated promptly. So glad we had reservations because the place was packed as happy hour ended at 6p, but their prime rib specials starting at 4p Fri keep the crowd coming 👍 great food, good times 😋

First time at this location. Great atmosphere. Nor overly busy as it was after lunch. Had the lunch special, which came with a cookie topped with ice cream. So good. No complaints about our food and service! Cool place!

This was our first time at this location, and it was such a wonderful experience!! Our waiters name was Jesse, and he was awesome!!! Super tentive, very friendly, and helped us with all of our questions. He made sure everything was good as it came out and brought refills without us even having to wait or ask. It is very very hard to get service like that these days, and I just want to give him a huge shout-out for his great customer service!!! Thank you, Jesse! Now about the food.... yum. We enjoyed everything and it was brought to us nice and hot. The wings especially were very flavorful. The pizza was very good, and calamari was a nice appetizer.

Firstly, our waiter Kathryn(Katherine) was amazing. We had a party of 4 but we are foodies so we ordered for about a party of 8. At no point did we feel inconvenienced for our lengthy order and she was so attentive. Secondly, the food was delicious. The Parmesan crusted chicken was my favorite. The macadamia nut pizookie was outstanding. I will be a returning customer. Thank you for the enjoyable experience.

We ordered from the lunch menu, the food was fresh and delicious. Our server was very friendly and knew a lot about the different food items and made some great suggestions. We are rewards members and out server asked for our info and found that we both had free desserts rewards. Score!!!! I love this place. Update: we were back again for more fabulous food. The bacon guacamole burger is super yummy. And you must try the limited time Snickers pazookie!

Our first time at the Ray Rd. location. Good food, great atmosphere. We sat at the bar and service was top notch. We got a flight of their beers, which were all decent. I had the Mediterranean tacos and he had the Nashville wings. Both were really good. The wings had more of a dry rub taste but were very meaty and juicy. Large menu, can’t wait to try other things on it. Overall, very satisfied, even if it is a chain.

Fantastic restaurant! Much better than the old location. Very clean and spacious. Lots of TV's for watching the game. Great food, lots of options (inclduing gluten sensitive ) and helpful staff. I will say that the parking lot is a little small and fills up quickly , but you can always park in the lot next door at the grocery store, too. There is outdoor seating too!

Our server this time around was a little slow at getting our order. Tried the jambalaya, didn't really care for it, so I wouldn't recommend. But everything else is always on point. One of my favorite places to eat.

We went tonight for dinner and they were really busy, but the wait was only about 20 minutes. Our server was Nycole and she was so awesome and friendly! We got the pretzel with beer cheese for an app. It also came with honey Dijon which was so good! The beer cheese and pretzel were both fantastic. I had a couple Jeremiah Red beers which has been one of my favorites since I started coming to BJ's a decade ago. My wife ordered the Gluten Sensitive Brewhouse Bowl. My sister ordered the Brewhouse Bowl with Blackened Shrimp and I ordered the Double Bone-In Pork Chop with White Cheddar Mashed Potatoes and a starter salad. My wife and sister thought their bowls were great. I tried them and would definitely agree. Everything was excellent. But that pork chop....oh my. I know there have been some mixed reviews on the food since this location opened recently, but our experience tonight has convinced me those were just growing pains. The kitchen was firing on all cylinders tonight and really elevated our experience. My pork chop was cooked to a BEAUTIFUL medium rare with just the slightest hint of pink in the middle. This was a steakhouse-level pork chop that was PERFECTLY reverse seared and juicy. The seasoning and crust that resulted from it was magical. You only get this experience from a professional kitchen. It was like there was one person back there and their only job was to cook my pork chop perfectly and they delivered in spades. The White Cheddar Mashed were excellent (I would sprinkle a little parsley on them to give it some color, but if the flavor is amazing I don't care what it looks like and the flavor was amazing). We ended the evening with a gluten free pizookie with ice cream and it was the perfect finale! But seriously, you gotta get the pork chop!

This is the best BJs I have ever been to! Our server Mike was amazing. As soon as he came to greet us he was so welcoming with a great attitude. We ordered the huge pizookie platter and was so delicious we finished the entire thing. Even the General Manager Steven also came in to check on us which was so thoughtful!! Thank you guys for an amazing experience!! We will be coming back soon!!

This would be a 5 for food, but they ran out of the special for the evening and it was only 8pm when we got there. Other than that our wait time was reasonable, less than 20 min, and the food that we ordered was delicious. The wait staff was observant and extremely friendly.

Came in for a burger, not our first time here. I customized my smokehouse burger with chili and no cheese, no ranch. My order came out perfect and was quiet delicious. I also had the limited time spooky pizookie which was just wonderfully tasty. We always get great service and love the food. We'll keep coming back for sure, we love sitting on the patio!

We had an amazing waitress but we don't remember her name. She was so nice and explained the meals to us that we had questions about. She suggested a couple of good drinks one was a pomegranate margarita and my son-in-law ordered a flight of beers that she described the flavors of. It was my first time there and she made it very memorable. The lemon pepper wings were the bomb meaning good if you don't know lol... We all enjoyed the food and drinks also the wonderful service..

Had a family gathering here and the food was outstanding! So was our server, Amber! She knocked it out of the park and made our entire family feel welcomed and special. All of us agreed that our next family gathering will be right back here at BJ's! Thank you for a memorable experience!!!

I like the new menu. Love the avocado roll and they have good burger choices. Early week is less noise. Friday is busy and a little loud unless you go around 3 or 4. We still enjoyed the evening.

Well, I previously reviewed their old location at Chandler mall and it was horrible complete with a flying bug infestation. Moving on to this location it is a night and day difference. What a great place! Food is delicious, service is on point and the prices are on par for the quality and service we received. Had a great time with friends and will definitely be back. This is the BJs I remember and loved all those years ago glad they have a newer location to continue their legacy of being amazing.

Fast service and the food was great! My husband had the fried chicken and loved it. I had the chicken club and it was delicious. Unfortunately I forget the name of the bartender but she is always smiling and remembers our names and drinks. We enjoy dining there.

I had a relatively hard day today and I was very hungry. It was a VERY busy Wednesday night for some reason so, I had a long wait. I finally was seated and my server, Reed came over and took my drink order for your hand made root beer. Reed returned with an ice cold mug of that delicious root beer. The root beer is awesome by itself but the nearly frozen mug takes this custom beverage to a completely different level! Then Reed suggested the limited time pizza with the hot honey drizzle! Holey smokes when Reed returned with that pizza, there was so much meat on the top of that deep crust, I couldn't see the pizza! Reed also informed me that I had a free Pazookie coming! Could my night get any better? Before I could pay the check, Reed offered me a TA-GO cup of that crazy delicious root beer. I could not turn it down. Thanks to Reed's fine service, my day was redeemed! He is an excellent server. I trust he is paid well as a valued member of your wait staff. Thanks, once again BJs and Reed for making an otherwise ruff day end on an excellent note!

BJs helped cater our orchestra event and they did a fantastic job! The staff that came were wonderful and helped our parent volunteers successfully serve 300+ guests. The food was plentiful and tasty. We are so grateful for their community outreach to our music program.

Super busy during peak hours, a 45 minute wait time is common. The food was great and consistent. I ordered the prime rib & the rib eye both at medium rare. Surprisingly accurate and decently seasoned. Sides were good as well. I recommend a booth for the ultimate experience

We had an awesome experience at BJ’s Brewhouse, thanks to our server Jessie. Our group of four all went with the $13 combo meals, and she made the whole dinner feel smooth, fun, and easy. Super friendly, on top of everything, and just genuinely great energy. We ended the night by splitting a round of pizookies, and Jessie made sure everything came out perfect. She truly made our family reunion feel special. Absolutely fantastic service we’ll definitely be back and hoping to sit with her again!

My first time here what a terrific experience. Food was outstanding, service impeccable and atmosphere was perfect. I had Parmesan crusted chicken with lemon butter sauce and sundried tomatoes paired with white cheddar mashed potatoes and asparagus. Mom had 3 course giant pork chop and fiancé had the prime rib. Excellent!

BJ's Restaurant & Brewhouse 7151 W Ray Rd, Chandler, AZ 85226 On my way to a listing appointment, I found myself feeling a bit hungry. Fortunately, I came across BJ's Restaurant & Brewhouse, which turned out to be a delightful surprise. Upon entering the restaurant, I was promptly seated by the friendly staff. Eager to make it to my appointment on time, I inquired with my waiter about the quickest food options available. With his helpful recommendations, I opted for the soup & salad combo paired with flavorful chicken wings, followed by a delightful dessert. The meal exceeded my expectations, with each bite bursting with delicious flavors. The exceptional service only added to the overall positive experience. We haven't been to BJ"s in quite a while. We were very pleased with our experience. Matt, our server, was excellent. Very attentive and on top of things. The atmosphere was wonderful. Will definitely be going back again. Matt, keep up the excellent service.

Ate here friday night. The food was amazing. We sat at the bar... service was okay. I wish it was better. We had to wave the server down everytime we needed something. Over all the food was amazing and loved the atmosphere:) will be back. But will he sitting at tables.

I enjoyed my food and the service. I ordered the enlightened Mediterranean pita tacos. It was only 2 tacos, but the portion size was good any more and I wouldn't have been able to finish it all. The service was really good. Sophia made sure to check on the table and was very pleasant during our visit.

We were in Arizona for a concert and stopped by for an appetizer. We ordered the wing's with sauce. They were tasty, but too much sauce. Personally, we prefer a light coating of sauce. We will order them again, but will go with the dry rub. The beer at BJ'S is always good and great selections. My favorite being the Stout. I prefer seats at the Bar, so I can watch a game.

The waiter was great. He ensured that we were educated in the menu and taken care of. My food was mediocre. I ordered the jambalaya and it wasn't the best food I've eaten.

D

Service and atmosphere were great. Staff was attentive and friendly. Food was mediocre. My ribeye was inedible. I ordered it medium rare and it was practically rare, chewy, and stringy. I know it's not a steak house but come on!!! The fries and garlic-roasted veggies were on par. I asked for a bottle of Tobasco and that was the best tasting compared to what we ordered. So disappointed.

We generally love BJs but something on their system has changed recently. Last few times we've been, having reservations seemed not to matter at all, even during times they're not so busy.

K
Kai

This was by far the worst experience I've ever had at a restaurant. I've never been to a place where I was served an appetizer 10 minutes before my drink. Such a strange and disappointing start to my meal. The food was subpar overall. I ordered the wings named after the restaurant, so I expected something good, but they were bland and packed flavor. If you're going to put your name on a dish, it shouldn't be something memorable and worth eating; these definitely weren't. The only saving grace was the atmosphere, it was nice and had potential, but that alone isn't enough to make up for the poor service and underwhelming food. I will not return.

Joined the waitlist through my BJ’s app 6:07 pm, No confirmation or time was provided. When I got to BJs I checked in about 6:30pm later and was told that I was at the “top” of the list and would be seated as soon as possible. 45 mins later I went to make sure that they had my information correct and once again was told “I would be seated as soon as possible” no eta. I understand etas aren’t always accurate. I also understand not telling a consumer an estimated wait time and instead saying “ we will seat you as soon as possible” sounds as if you will be seated shortly and in turn the consumer is less likely to leave. Please add the wait times to your app or have the courtesy to advise your customers of the wait time so that they can make a decision on if they choose to wait. It’s misleading.

We stopped in for lunch and were really looking forward to it, but the experience was mixed. We ordered the sampler, and the sliders came out completely raw inside — not just pink, but raw, with barely any browning. The wings were also disappointing, slimy in texture and missing sauce, which made them hard to enjoy. The calamari was tasty but a bit oily. We also ordered seasonal drinks that came with foam on top. The presentation was nice, but the drink was slightly overflowing and left the glass sticky, which made it hard to enjoy. It wasn’t a huge issue, just a little messy. The best part of the meal was my daughter’s brisket burger. Even though she ordered it well done, it arrived slightly pink but cooked evenly and full of flavor. Overall, the lunch had some good moments but also a few problems that made it less enjoyable than usual.

It’s was my first time here and it will be my last. The food was horrible the steak had no flavor, not even the A1 could fix. The burger was flavorless and dry. That was the driest baked potato I’ve ever had. Loaded and it didn’t even have butter or sour cream. Just a little cheese and bacon bits. I ate my daughter’s French fries cause that was the only thing with seasonings. The service was ok. Had to wait so long for drinks or for anyone to even take our order. I was say this was definitely not worth the price for them steaks. I’ll never come back again.

Went to BJs for the first time in years. Had nostalgia of the one I used to go to in San Diego. That quickly evaporated. Wish I never went back. Reservation at 7pm. Don't get seated until 730. What is even the point of getting a reservation if people off the street get seated before you? 4 hostesses or employees chilling at the front chatting/doing nothing/giggling while 30 people wait. Unprofessional and just downright bad at their jobs. Tables with no-one sitting at them/waiting to be cleaned and time wasted while I watch 4 employees and their manager come by to have chit chats and tell jokes. Unacceptable. Finally get seated. Waiter takes 20 minutes to even come see us only to tell us he's sorry but there's a mix up with our table and whose covering it? We are sitting in literally the main dining room. That's inexcusable? What kind of restaurant are you running? Beers take 15 minutes to get from the bar to our table. My brother and I literally watch the beers sitting at the bar while our server is nowhere to be found. Beers now warm. Food is medicore at best. Had the Waygu burger. In N Out makes a better burger than this place. How is this place still alive? Terrible. Only came because I got gift cards for Christmas. Had other Chandler locals warn us not to do it, because this place is so bad, but felt like we should just do it because we had gift cards. Stupid decision. Never stepping foot in another BJs again. Thought about speaking to a manager but didn't want to waste another second in this place. horrible experience. They could have offered me free food for a year and I wouldn't have accepted it after this absolute dumpster fire of a restaurant. You couldn't pay me to come back to this place. One of the worst run restaurants Ive ever seen. Don't waste your time, there are a million other places just like this place that are way better, or at least serve you. These 5 star reviews with the owner/management glazing them have to be paid fake reviews or friends/family. There's no way this place should still be around. You have been warned. Avoid this place! It's not good at all!

Always have been my go place in TX and AZ. I stopped going in TX one after food and serving quality went down. Last week went with my family in nostalgia, wait period was 35+ mins which is reasonable, we ordered our food in 5-10 Mins, and our food took ages to come. When received the burger with jalapeños was warm to cold and those were frozen fried jalapeños , I could tell from the taste. My spicy thai pasta with ~$5 extra for chicken for 5 cubes (1 cube 1 inch) to be specific, was cold to warm, like it was sitting there to be served and just served after the server forgot us for 18-20 mins. I almost got up to leave! My child’s corn dogs were the only fried hot dish. Kids pizookie was good.
