The Three Cottages

I Came to the Three Cottages again today for work... As always my work took me to every part of the pub including the kitchen. Very clean throughout and the food prepared by the kitchen looked very appetising... I've eaten lunch here on a couple of occasions... Always fresh and tasty Nicky has been Landlady for many years and has the place looking fantastic a really pleasant lady, helpful and always accommodates my visits The 3 Cottages is a very beautiful venue it has a huge beer garden with children's play area and dog friendly.. 🐶🐶

Food was outstanding, all 3 of us had a wonderful meal which was all really tasty, one of the best meals we’ve had in a while and really well presented! Highly recommend this lovely pub! ❤️

We stopped in for dinner and were very pleasantly surprised. The food was good and the atmosphere was great!! Very reasonable prices. Nice family atmosphere. Certainly recommend!! We will be back!

Friendly welcome and excellent service, delicious food and nice pint of beer and even our two whippets were well catered for…an all round enjoyable lunch, thank you to Jackie, Pete, Ruby and Millie

Me and my partner had the set menu where we both had a starter and main. We were too full for dessert. The food was amazing and we couldn’t pick a fault. The service from Dani and especially Jackie was excellent! Made you feel at home and couldn’t do enough for you. Service was quick but not rushed. We had a lovely bottle of wine between us as well. We will be back.

Fab service, good Sunday Lunch had, only...very very minor comment as a gravy connoisseur wish it was better than bistow....otherwise an outstanding experience. 👌🏼

Came here for our weekly lunch outing.. was not disappointed with the food was top notch very tasty... service was slow seemed only one member of staff working taking orders making drinks bringing food to tables... member of staff was pleasant

We went for a delightful family meal at the weekend. The staff were extremely attentive and conversational! The service was also exceptional. The food was delicious as it always is when we dine here. I had the chicken schnitzel which is a frequent favourite of mine, my partner had a steak and my parents both had pies. We all thoroughly enjoyed the food as well as the price we paid. We can’t wait to dine here again🤍

Service was really good. Food was quite good too. Lovely atmosphere thought the drinks was a little on the expensive side I thought as £10.75 for a double Tia Maria and Coke, but maybe not don’t often get out

Excellent Sunday lunch. Nice pub with a traditional pub feel, and a dining room facing onto a nice pub garden. Service was friendly and quick. Food was good. Had the trio roast which was tasty. Portion size was excellent (big). Roast had I think three meats, stuffing, roasties, mash, parsnip, carrots, cabbage, leeks and I think peas. Excellent value at 19 quid. I also had a side of pigs in blankets which I really didn't need but where also good. Whilst we don't have dogs, also loved the free doggie treats and water bowls for four legged friends as nice touch you don't often see. This was our first time here and we will definitely be going again.

Really friendly experienced orgainzed staff. Nicky Jackie Ruby and Connie was so lovely. Making our parents 60th anniversary suprise meal fantastic. Thank you from all the family making it a wonderful day.

We visited The Three Cottages in Hasland for Pie Night — each of us ordered a different filling, all freshly made and just as delicious as each other! My son went for the burger and is already saying he’s coming back… though we’re not sure if it’s for the burger or the amazing cookie dough sharing dessert! Great food, lovely atmosphere, and definitely worth a return visit.

Delicious food and lovely service. The selection of gins was really impressive too. Both of us had the sausage and mash and the portion size was plenty. Really delicious, the best sausage and mash my friend had ever tasted! Nice atmosphere and good price point.

Just wanted to say thank you to Nicky and the team at the three cottages for putting on a great retirement party for my wife and family. The hot and cold buffet was superb, the food was delicious and plentiful and the staff were all friendly and attentive. A great place to have a private party and we will definitely be having our next one there.

Really lovely pub, plenty of room inside and out, well behaved dogs welcome. Play area for children outside, you can see from all areas outside so parents can keep an eye on their children. Will definitely come again.

Lovely food and fantastic service from Nicky, Jackie, Ash and Lily. Our booking was for 11 people and a dog and they had obviously gone out of there way to set up our tables for us. The service was brilliant and all of the orders came to the table perfect and in a timely manner. Will definitely call again

We had 3 birthdays with 6 people book. Jackie looked after us all and really worked hard to make sure we had everything we needed. Amazing service, would highly recommend. Very accommodating as we had a dog also.

Came for a family meal, with our parents who had travelled from Cyprus to see us all. There was 14 of us we were made to feel very welcome and the service and food were amazing. We really enjoyed our selves. Thank you to all.

Valentines evening spent in this lovely pub, always an absolute favourite of ours, lovely people, fabulous service and food wonderful, Ash behind the bar is a complete joy. Thankyou x

Really friendly efficient service from Jackie. We all liked our main courses. Good choice of lagers and beers. Can really recommend this pub.

We tried the Sunday lunch, chicken and beef dinners. Chicken ok. There was plenty of beef meat, but it was very fatty. I don't mind a bit, but this was a lot. Service spot on and staff friendly and helpful. Lovely atmosphere so will visit again to sample the other items on the menu, but not the Sunday lunch

Phoned on route to see if there was a table available and when we arrived a nice table was reserved in the conservatory. We had the lasagne, which is always lovely. The only criticism I now have is that there is now an additional cost for the garlic bread at £2.50 which I feel should be included with the meal. We purchased this and a side of skin on fries between us which was ample. The staff were polite and pleasant and we had a lovely time.

Service good and friendly. Food was tasty, served hot. Nice lasagna and tasty mushroom starter.

Great food, Great service and nice beer. Lady from the kitchen showed us how to balance a spoon on her nose which was very funny.

Lovely cosy place. Food is gorgeous but expensive for what you get. £18 for mac n' cheese with bacon and onion bits. But came out the size of a side. Everyone commented on how small it was for what I was paying! One of staff seems pretty direct and has an attitude also. Apart from that the food is lovely and it's very cosy inside

Very disappointed. They didn't know where to seat us even though we had reservations. We were seated and then moved to the pub end because of the quiz. I had chicken which was fine but my husband had steak and literally got steak one mushroom which was minute and a quarter of a tomato and a mountain of chips.definatley not worth the money. We won't be going again.

Food was disappointing. Pie, mainly thick pastry with little filling. Staff were nice.

I was very disappointed been going here for years and never had a bad meal. I’m gluten and dairy free and they have always accommodated my allergies. I booked for Sunday dinner this weekend at 2pm and when we turned up we were told that they only had chicken breast left what the hell its 2pm we ordered off the main menu and starters came all good but took 30 minutes after our starters to bring our mains. I ordered a gluten and dairy free burger when it came it had cheese on it and the gluten free bun was actually 2 slices off bread how ridiculous is that. I had to send the burger back due to it having cheese on it when it came back out the burger was disgusting I would have got better at McDonald’s if I could eat there. Paid £65 for 2 people and I didn’t eat mine as it was terrible. Rest assured we won’t be going back.

Worst Sunday dinner I have ever eaten got a mix dinner of beef and chicken the chicken looked boiled ! On a bone asked for it to be exchanged for pork which was even worse it was very wet and fatty couldn’t even look at it never mind eat it the veg was hard and stale the beef was tuff I was so disappointed I said I’m sorry I can’t eat that for them to say iv taken it off the bill .. I didn’t get an apology awful the young waitress was nice who took our order tho ….

We dropped in for lunch yesterday on our way back to the south coast and was pleasantly surprised by receiving great food and service.Friendly and welcoming staff and we shall be returning.
