What an amazing experience! We can’t wait to return. While the atmosphere and vibe were perfect, Sonia made our visit an overall exceptional experience! She makes you feel like a VIP! She is professional, personable and shows that she truly cares that you enjoy your visit. Can’t wait to come back for the delicious food, but it wouldn’t be the same without Sonia. STK and Sonia, thanks again and we’ll see you again soon! 💜
The perfect evening to celebrate my birthday! The service was amazing! Our server explained everything down to the letter! The food was very flavorful and seasoned very well. The side dishes were plentiful and enough for two. We got the Brussels sprouts and lobster Mac and cheese. The fresh hot bread was delicious! I got a boneless ribeye which I never heard of but it was tender, juicy and delicious. The restaurant was a little darker than my liking but the service was great.
We had an amazing New Year’s Eve dinner at STK Steakhouse with a party of five, and everything was smooth from start to finish. The food was absolutely delicious, perfectly cooked, and beautifully presented. Our server, Jaden, truly made the night. He was attentive, friendly, and kept everything flowing effortlessly, even with how busy NYE can be. We never felt rushed or overlooked, and he made sure our table had everything we needed. Such a great way to ring in the New Year. We will definitely be back.
Back again on Sunday morning for Brunch and Sonia was just as amazing as she was on Friday. Cheerful and on point with everything. The food was phenomenal!!! I would recommend to anyone who wants incredible food friendly and prompt service needs to come here. *I wanted to add the drinks the bartender made were so great as well. I did not mean to leave her out! 😁
Sonia was an awesome and amazing server. Recommending the best drinks and food! Very attentive during STK’s Happy Hour! Everything was good especially the drinks page turner ,and unchained passion. I highly recommend the wagyu tacos, truffle fries, mushroom arancini. If you go to STK you better hope Sonia is working! She makes sure you enjoy your experience at STK.
Wow!! This is our second time here in a few years. I brought my Queen here for her 52nd birthday today and STK DID NOT disappoint!! 🔥🔥 Brett our server extraordinaire was fantastic and attentive. The chef threw down on my 14oz Ny strip steak medium well!! 🔥🔥🔥🔥 Luis came soon after to melt delicious butter into the top of my steak!! 🔥🔥🔥🔥 Mark was also very attentive, he was assisting Brett. Mark is funny as hell too. Super cool cat! Thank you STK!!!!! 5 stars. Oh wait. My wife’s food. She ordered the salmon and truffle fries!! Wow. Explosive. Great. Tender and juicy!!! The spicy watermelon martini and old fashion was
Cody gave us an excellent service! Good recommendation! Food can be a little better compared to the prices (the filet of 6oz to be specific), but the place is beautiful and everyone is really kind
We did a chef’s tasting menu the day after Christmas (Boxing Day). It was excellent. The courses were amazing and generous. Everything from the salad, shrimp cocktail and sliders to the main courses and dessert it was a great experience, made special by the staff - Raul (server), Anthony (floor supervisor [?] and Jesse (executive chef) who were friendly, polite, and efficient. A delicious meal and a memorable experience. Thank you
The service was amazing! The waiter was incredibly warm and friendly and even prepared a lovely surprise for me. It truly made my dining experience special. Highly recommend this restaurant!
This was my first time here celebrating my 15 year anniversary. The service was very friendly and our server Katie was 5☆. The presentation and taste of the food was out of this world. The flavors were some of the best pairings. I highly recommend this place for a date night with that special someone.
A wonderful experience here. Shoutout to Sierra and Miguel for making this night wonderful. The shrimp is very good, my new york strip was cooked just the way I like it. I recommend getting "The cloud" for dessert. You won't be disappointed.
We were finally trying STK because they were part of the participating restaurants for restaurant week. We were excited because of all the great raves on STK. The staff was amazing and our server was great! We deviated from the set menu a bit ( A Lot) but everything was delicious and the portions were better than expected. The drinks were good but very pricey ($23 a cocktail) but when we addressed our concern about the glass being dirty, they replaced it with a fresh drink within a few minutes. It is a very energetic environment as the evening progresses. My only disappointment is that for the hefty amount that was paid they need to be bit more thorough when cleaning for the next guests/ patrions. Overall it was a great experience and we got to enjoy our time and never felt rushed.
The food was phenomenal. Every dish was flavorful, beautifully presented, and the portions were generous. The ambiance was wonderful, and the music fit the atmosphere perfectly, creating such a lively and inviting vibe. Unfortunately, the service didn’t quite match the quality of everything else. Our server had our entire section and seemed overwhelmed, so everything was a bit backed up. She was kind but delayed with each of us. By the time our drinks arrived, we had already finished dessert, and it took another 10-15 minutes to get our check after asking for it. The lobby was also very crowded, which made it feel like the restaurant might have been slightly overbooked that night. We were there celebrating our anniversary and noticed other tables receiving sparklers for their celebrations, but ours never came. It’s a small thing, but it would have made the evening feel more special. Despite that, I would definitely come back. The food, music, and atmosphere were incredible. I just hope next time the service experience matches the amazing quality of everything else.
It’s a beautiful place. A bit over priced. Street parking if you are lucky to find a spot is $4.50 per hour on the Park Chicago app. The music is too loud for me like it’s a club for dancing. The music also feels like dancing music. It’s upbeat for sure. The only thing is sometimes at night after a long day you just want to enjoy sitting and eating and drinking and talk to people you love or like. You want to be able to hear them easily. The food choices are a nice mix of seafood and steak and even a pasta dish. The cocktails are good $23… the Dragons Flare (vodka, prickly pear, Cointreau strawberry lemonade) was good and fruity and full of flavor and sweetness. You have happy hour deals and after 10pm deals. Really sweet deals! I would say the value is during happy hours. You will def get your money’s worth w $9 cocktails and $3, $6, $9 food dishes. Our waitress was not attentive but friendly and forgot to give us our bread That was supposed to be complementary. And I walked out of the restaurant still very hungry after a $66 dinner dish.
I came here to enjoy a nice dinner for my 21st Birthday. While the food was great, the service and atmosphere was not. I had a reservation at 6:15pm with a party of two (my best friend and I). I asked the host if we can have a booth and she responded with “It will take a little longer”. I figured it would be 10-15 minutes but we stood there for about 45 minutes. Therefore, we were seated at 7pm. Also, there were barely any chairs to sit at while waiting. Everyone is just cornered by the door. Although the vibe is there with the pretty purple lights and cute tables, it was not all that. Luckily, we had a great server and delicious food to make up for it!
STK Steakhouse has a stylish, modern vibe that makes the whole dinner feel a bit more special. The steaks are cooked really well, with great flavor and perfect texture. I also liked the upbeat music and lively atmosphere, which gives the place a fun energy. The service was attentive without being pushy, which made the evening even better. Overall, it’s a great spot if you’re in the mood for a high-quality steak in a trendy setting.
The food was great, the prices s little high though. We went on Christmas, had reservations, still had to wait over an hour to get seated, and they checked us in then 45 minutes later said ee were not checked in. There was no crowd control, no one checking with people, really bad management overall. It server was pretty good, drinks were not that great residual at $23 each. I got the wagu, for a steak house, it was not wish the price, I've paid just slightly higher and received much better.
The food wasn't good at all. This place is overly hyped. The appetizers had no taste and Entres were not good all. We were a party of 5 and none of us like the food. The waitress kept asking us about the tip. The bill was only $635 & I wanted to tell her to relax we tip generous. The calamari was nasty, the creamy spinach was watery, the steak had no seasoning & the lobster had no taste & it tasted like it had been in the water too long. We had to switched tables. We were placed by the kitchen and in a higher traffic area. Once seated at the next location, we had been there for 25 minutes before anyone came to take our order. Kudos to the waitress but at the end, she was too hyper about tge tip.
We had reservations at 6p but wasn't seated until about 15 minutes later because they had to get our table together. Whats the point in having a reservation if you'll still have to wait? I digress. The restaurant was super cute inside. We were finally seated and Monae was our server for the night. She started off cool but by the end of the night she was rude. I'm not sure if she was overwhelmed but there definitely was a switch. I almost lost it because she kept reaching over our plates. Thats one thing that drives me crazy. She took one of the plate settings away while someone was sitting there. We had to ask for another setting. The food was OVERPRICED and lacked flavor. The vegetarian pasta was $63 and all sides were $21. I ordered a mocktail and it was okay. My brussel sprouts were really good but not $21 good. The icing on the cake was the service dog that came in after us. They served the dog water in a drinking cup. At this point, we were all ready to go. On top of that, the dog was constantly in the middle of the walkway shaking his tail while we were trying to eat. I understand the need for a service dog, but some people are allergic to pet dander and having a dog drink out of a glass is crazy work. They're going to serve someone out of that same glass. Valet was $20 which was cheap. The bathroom needed to be cleaned. There were plenty of areas to take cute photos.
First time in Chicago and first time at STK—unfortunately, both were disappointing. We had a 10:00 PM reservation and were seated at 9:58. The vibe was great at first, but by 10:17 no server had come by. After asking someone for help, we overheard staff arguing about who was supposed to take our table, as if it were a burden. Eventually someone came over, but we didn’t receive our first drink until 10:38. Service improved slightly after that, though our server did forget an item. We overlooked it, but given everything that had already happened, we wanted management to be aware of how poor the experience had been. Anthony spoke with us, but he seemed uninterested and dismissive—more focused on moving on than actually listening. The final straw came while eating our last appetizer, the candied bacon, when we found a whole eggshell in the dish. Nothing on that plate contains egg, and no one could explain how it got there. My immediate thought was food safety—specifically salmonella. That’s not something you expect at a restaurant of this caliber. Supervisor Olivia came over and was the only person who showed genuine concern. She apologized and explained that this was not the norm, which we appreciated. Given the service issues and the potential food safety risk, we felt it was reasonable not to be charged. Anthony disagreed, and at that point it became clear he simply did not care about us as guests or the level of service we received. Overall: disorganized service, poor management response, and a serious food quality issue. 0/10 experience. Do not recommend.
