Very good! Super clean. Recommend, must try!
Omggg YUM! 😋 ♥️ Will be back again and again The quality of the food is 100% and so many vegan options!
Best Indian food in Chico. The owners are super nice.
The staff here are super friendly and the food is amazing ❤️I love love love this place!
It's just a really fine restaurant to go to, clean, quaint, cunffy and the owners are super nice.
Not expected a indian restaurant in chico but its really nice clean, good attendance and tasty food.
Food is sooo yummy...especially the Samosas and the Chicken Curry.😀 The people that work there are very nice and the service was great.
Food is different, flavorful and unique. You wont find it anywhere else. Its vegan, vegetarian, and a lot is gluten-free except for the naan bread which i highly recommend
Very good food, and the staff is very nice. Not too expensive, either. We've been back many times.
Best Indian food I chico. Super high quality. The smell of the food as soon as you step in is amazing.
Such an amazing place! Staff is super friendly and the food is absolutely delicious. Great vegan food!
You are always well taken care of at Gogi’s! Wonderful and fresh menu, with a very clean restaurant and a great location. Can’t beat it!
Our family ordered food from this place and we absolutely loved it! Great food at a good price!
Fresh naan bread made right in front of you and delicious curry with spices you can feel; I'll definitely be coming back again.
The Best Indian Food!!! Great, Friendly Service! Comfortable Atmosphere! Convenient Location!
Delicious food and vegan options. And you can ask to make things super spicy.
Quick, delicious Indian food in a clean, downtown location. Always friendly service.
Nice place that doesn't get enough recognition the owners were awesome and the food was amazing
Great food! They cooked the Naan to order so its always fresh,
Best Indian food ever! I've been a customer for years now.
Good food. Great owners. Enjoy the feel of the place. Affordable.
Great food and very friendly staff. First time here and really enjoyed the food.
The food was delicious and the workers were very friendly and accommodating. We will be back!
Great Indian food in relaxed dine in/take out feel with super yummy and fast lunch options on their express menu. Great vegan and vegetarian options, and I highly recommend the samosas and garlic naan. Across the street from CSU Chico.
Went yesterday, had the chicken curry over rice, was good portion size! They could improve on the bread as it was covered in oil and I couldn't eat it but the staff was very friendly and the place was clean. Thank you!
Great vegan menu. The owners are the sweetest people. Very clean and reasonably priced. We've been coming here for four years. Our 18 mo old loves it too!
Great people and great food! Good selection clearly labeled vegan options. Fairly priced and delicious. Win win win. Perfect place to pick up a quick meal to go and their vegan naan is the best.
One of the best restaurants I've been to. The food is delish, the atmosphere is relaxing, and the customer service is wonderful. My favorites dishes include the Channa Masala, Aloo Gobi, and the Naan.
A little pricey but homemade taste. It's a special treat. Love the chicken tikka on the naan, sorta pita style. Great assortment of soda pop. Tonight was open mic night, so a little louder than I'd like, but had to have my naan bread. She makes it fresh and brings it to your table.
I enjoy the food very much. It has been tasty eveytime.
This is the absolute best restaurant i've ever been to I go at least 2 times a week. The people who own the place are very sweet and I will continue to go get my Indian food from here forever.
I've never had a bad experience. Considering it's directly in the bus center square it might be scary but no. You're doing a disservice not trying them out at least once.
Amazing place to eat! This is the best indian food in town, no doubt!
Great meat and vegan menu, reasonably priced. The owners are very nice. Every meal there has been tasty!
My family really likes Gogi's with our go to meal being their Butter Chicken and made to order Garlic Naan bread. Nice folks here too!
Delicious food, comfortable combinations, and wonderful proprietors! As always thank you so much for a lovely time 😃!
The food is so good!! They made the naan is made fresh i would recommend ordering some. They also have student deals.
Outrageously delicious vegan options! The vegan korma with coconut milk and aloo Gobi is very good. There is meat available. This place is Awesome.
Gogi's has the best food! They are a local family owned business and they are always super kind and professional. They are very accommodating as well. I highly recommend Gogi's!!!
Amazing! Good food, very pleasant happy people. Great options for vegans and vegetarians. Beer on tap too. This place is on fleek.
Best Indian food in town!! Been going here for years and have always had a great experience
Great service and excellent food. I'm very happy to have a great Indian cuisine restaurant located in our little town. The butter chicken literally melts in your mouth and the garlic Naam bread can't be beat! With large portions sizes and excellent food quality,,this is one of the better restaurants in Chico hands down.
From my 6 year old: “Their food here is amazing. This was a very good experience and the way they cook their food is perfect. It’s warm, tasty and the service here is amazing..”
Great quality food for an affordable price! My partner and I were both very pleased with our food and drinks. We were able to try a variety of their dishes and every one was delicious. We are excited to try other dishes y'all offer on the future. Thanks for the great meal and we'll definitely be ordering from y'all again!
I love Gogi's. Been going here for 3 years now. The prices can be kind of high, but the student special is a good full meal for around $8. I see tons of people complaining about the food and service here, but the food has always been good, and the employees here are just SO NICE. I just got spoon fed samples of food. That's service. And to the people that say the Taj is better, I say you are CRAZY.
Love this place! So many vegan options and plus everything I've had tastes really good. It's close to the University and convenient; the price could be a little steep for a student on a budget, but definitely worth the quality. I've always had friendly interactions with the people who serve you and would highly reccomend this place to anyone who enjoys delicious Indian comfort food!
Best Indian Cuisine in Chico. The family restaurant owners are friendly and always have a good suggestion to try something new. Seating is decent. Free refills on soda fountain drinks. International decor for art and paintings is a nice touch to the westernized feel of the town. Thumbs UP for Gogi's Cafe!
This is now my favorite Indian Food restaurant. I have eaten at probably 30 different Indian food eateries in my travels and this gem is from my hometown! As a vegan person who has many family and friends who love meat, I ESPECIALLY appreciate that they have excellent vegan AND meat options, that their naan is vegan, and they have vegan mango lassi! I don't understand why they aren't flooded with people all day, the food and vibe is so good!
Gogi’s Cafe has some of the best Indian food in Chico! Gogi’s Cafe catered one of my pre-wedding events. They have an extensive variety of food on their menu - There is truly something for everybody! Our guests loved the food and consistently praised how authentic it tasted. I highly recommend Gogi’s Cafe to anybody looking for flavorful, fresh Indian food!
The owners are so sweet and the food is so delicious! I had the palak paneer, and they did a great job! They also have lunch buffet- I want to come back so I can try everything!
Some of the best Indian food I’ve had, and it’s fast too. Probably the most delicious “quick bite” type place in chico because few things can match good Indian food. No frills needed. Great choice for vegans & vegetarians (try the vegan korma!)
Family owned, friendly service, great food!
Absolutely delicious food at great prices. Also its a feel good because you know you are supporting great people and a local buisness. Please choose this before a drive through for lunch, its the same price and SO much better value!!
Their food is ALWAYS flavorful! Even though I just ate lunch there, my mouth is still watering thinking about it. I have never had a bad meal or a bad experience. I am always greeted with a smile and a warm welcome.
Absolutely delicious!! The Dal was our favorite but we tried most of the veggie options and they were all great. 😊
I had such a great experience at Gogi Cafe! The food was fresh, flavorful, and absolutely delicious. The atmosphere was cozy and welcoming, and the staff was super friendly and attentive. You can tell a lot of care goes into everything they do. I’ll definitely be coming back and recommending this place to friends and family!
Staff was so helpful as I am gluten&dairy free! Lots of options for both here,as well as vegetarian! Cute place and clean, food was tasty and flavorful, good spices!
Gogi’s cafe is a block or two away from Chico’s state university in downtown and offer variety of south Asian cuisine dishes from veg to non veg. You can have your entree with rice or with Naan. Prices are between $9 to $13 per entree. They also offer cool appetizers like Samosas, chaat, bhelpuri and garlic fries. We tried chicken tikka masala, paalak paneer, basil lamb and lamb masala. It’s a family oriented place with a decent dine area and sales is based on university business. Taste could be better but ok. Easy check in and order food at the counter. It’s very close to freeway so hop in if you are driving around chico or live in town.
Absolutely in love with this place. The vegan naan is everything I’ve ever wanted. Th eh have the best samosas and the coconut rice is so worth the upgrade.
Only second time going their but super tasty both times. We got both the garlic and cheese naan and unable to decide which is better. Would def recommend.
Enjoyed a fireside seat while dining here today, had the Tandoori Chicken plate!

(This is from pver a yeat ago) We drove 1.5 hours to see if Chico had any vegan food. Gogi's Cafe was 100% worth the drive, and we will definitely be coming back. This was easily the best Indian food we've had in a very long time. The owners were so sweet and welcoming. It was a treat to chat with them as they were closing up. They have a great variety of vegan options, and they also have a buffet on Saturdays!
This place never disappoints! I've been going here for nearly 10 years and Gogi's is a true Chico gem. The portions are very good size and I love getting the combo. The samosas are amazing! Also, friendliest staff ever!
We’ve been regulars for years! Exceptional hosts and exceptional food! We live in Oregon now and dine at Gogi’s whenever we’re in town. We do miss our weekly dinners/lunches there.
I did not eat here. At my work we have a group of about 10 trainees who stopped at the bus station near this place. We had a 15 minute break. Almost all of my co workers went in and used the bathroom. I thought it was pretty rude because no one ordered food. But the guy was super nice and didn’t say anything. The food smelled good. If I had more time I would have for sure bought some. Next time I’m around Chico I will for sure
My office had a 12-person luncheon catered by Gogi's Cafe and we really enjoyed it. I asked everything to be labeled, and they kindly accommodated. There's something on the menu for everyone, from vegan to celiac and meat eaters too. All gave two thumbs up. Co-owner Vinay gave excellent service and took our order through email. We'll definitely consider them again for future office luncheons. Delicious and convenient. Thank you!
The best authentic north indian restaurant in chico. Better than other indian restaurants around give them a try trust me they have best indian food.
My favorite place in Chico! I come here all the time :)
Everything was excellent especially the Korma. With the limited summer menu, we ended ordering "A La- Carte (Lamb Korma)", and sauteed vegetables. They were able to accommodate a restrictive diet of no sugar or carbs. With no outside tables, we ended up going over to the campus and eating on the lawn with the doggo.

Great taste but small portion for the money, but great quality food!
Somewhat greasy, cafeteria style food so might be old. Nice service though
Great food, awesome people. Too pricey for what you get. I still like to get in when i'm downtown as often as i can.
Good food, good service. I'd definitely go back. Could use some ambiance though, kind of flat inside.
Food is always great and the owners are awesome, but the staff aren't COVID sensitive and masks aren't required indoors
The student special here is comparable in price to the offerings at the school cafe, but the food makes the extra steps worth it. Vegan and Vegetarian options here are worth it too! The vegetable Korma and the Chicken Tikka Masala are my fave entrees here, but their spinach and cheese entree is really good as well.
Great Indian food offered here. The ambiance isn't so great and the staff are not really friendly but they are accommodating. Gogi's offers vegan options that are tasty and filling. The naan is delicious.
Big variety of vegan options and Very good for people with allergies. I have a dairy allergy so I can only eat at certain places. I will definitely be back next time I am in the Chico area!
Decent food overall, but a fair number of vegan options. The vegan samosas were delicious, and the vegan garlic naan was drool-worthy.
This was my second experience trying Indian food. The only complaint I had was the meat being a little dry but the best thing on the menu was the rice with cauliflower and potatoes. Seasoned beautifully and it kept me wanting more. :)
I like this place a lot. It can be a bit pricey, but the food is quite tasty. They make fresh, hand-made nan bread, which is always the perfect textures. My one complaint is that every time I've come, the food is too salty. The flavors are there for sure, but the salt is overwhelming.
Great service the owners are super sweet and helpful. They have plenty of vegan and vegetarian options. The food is always fresh and delicious. Great prices for plates or bowls. Dine in or out it’s always a great experience. Check the photos to see current prices and menu items.

Nice people, nice place, the food looked fresh but too mild and lacking spice for my taste.
The naan was bomb. The rest was just ok for the price. Food was served up buffet style but was not a buffet, only the naan was fresh the rest looked like it was left over from lunch service. Service was pleasent but for counter service we paid wait staff prices.
If you are looking for a quick bite to eat this is a great place, however the food is not anything beyond average. The place rarely has more than a few people in at a time. The prices are not great for the amount of food.
Very nice and helpful staff. Overall food quality could improve. We had the rice, a tofu and peas dish, and samosas. The samosas were very tasty, but everything else was just OK. The service was very nice and accommodating for our family.
The food is really good. The portions are very small and the service is terrible I felt like I was being punished for coming in to eat.
Their naan and samosa was really good! Their saag paneer was not good at all.. would not repeat due to how bad it tasted. They also put the dipping sauces in the container with the samosa so it spilt all over everything. The rice pudding was very watery and in a very small container didn’t seem like the price matched the amount.
The service was good, when I got the food I was honestly upset about the size of the plate, I payed 30 bucks for a plate and a chai tea. The plate was really small and it upset me when I ordered it for my family. The food tasted a bit bad and we couldn't finish it because Tikka masala tastes like microwaved chilli dogs. Sorry but it was really disappointing.
Very expensive for small portions. The entree take out meal is explicitly one protein (can’t do half one item and half another) over one scoop of rice. The service is meh, the workers felt like the wanted me out of the store more than anything else. Albeit expensive and poor portion sizes, the food was good.
I decided to stop by this Indian restaurant for the first time today since I’d never been there and wanted to give it a try. They had an entrée-style setup, so I asked if I could get a sample before choosing, but the lady behind the counter said they don’t offer samples. That threw me off a bit since I’ve been to other Indian restaurants with a similar setup that do allow sampling before ordering. I then looked over the menu and was hoping to try fish pakora, but I was told they don’t serve any seafood at all — which surprised me because Indian cuisine usually has great fish dishes. I also asked if they had goat (since I personally prefer it over lamb), and her reaction felt a bit uncomfortable. She said to call in ahead to ask, but I was already there and hoping to dine in. Overall, the experience just didn’t feel welcoming, and since there were no other customers in the restaurant, I decided to leave and go to another local spot. I really wanted to support a small business and try something new, but unfortunately, this visit wasn’t the best first impression.

Food is terrible. May as well just call everything soup, and be prepared to get to the bathroom when you finish, because your are going to be in for it. Would not recommend.
Food is not fresh and did not taste authentic at all. Need to improve food quality and maintain freshness.
Staff is rude and unfriendly. Food is ok. Would be better if they didn't act so cheap
Overpriced & mediocre & owner is rude. I agree that the burnt orange wall is best feature of this place. There is a new Indian place called Taj on 32 across from Safeway that is much better. I don't write bad restaurant reviews unless it's remarkably bad which Gogi's is .
Food was overpriced and mediocre. Rude staff. Got there an hour before it closed and they were starring at us waiting to be done with our food. The only positive thing was the nicely colored burnt orange wall. Other than that I'm truly disappointed and unsatisfied. I would not recommend it to anyone.
Found hair in food, everything i order is expired i call them and lady showing me her attitude instead of saying sorry feeling sick after eating

Some of the people reviewing this restaurant really shouldn't be having an opinion about things. This place serves some of the worst Indian food I've ever eaten. Very bland, oily, soggy/overdone, expensive. There's no pride of ownership with this place. The food is so white-washed and far from the real thing that I'm sure the business owners don't eat their own food that they serve to the public. Literally the same price as Priya during lunch time buffet. What are you people thinking???
The people were very nice but gosh the food was just terrible. Indian food is a favorite of mine and I've had disappointing meals before elsewhere but this was truly the worst. Hate to say it but save yourself from wasting the money. It shouldn't be so easy to mess up chicken Tikka masala
I visited this restaurant recently, and I was very disappointed. The staff was rude, the prices were too high, and the place was not clean at all. I don’t recommend this restaurant to anyone I visited this restaurant this morning and bought something. When I mentioned that another place sells the same item for two dollars less, the man got very rude. He threw the money in front of my face and told me to leave and go there instead. That’s not the right way to treat a customer. Very disappointing experience, and I will not be coming back
