Had brunch here with a large group and they seated us quickly and offered great service while they were super busy. The food was awesome and we will make this a sure stop next time we are in Chico!
This is one of my favorite pubs in Chico. The menu is really well done and steps away from the everyday options you find at other bars and restaurants. I highly recommend the Trashy Chicken Tacos! The staff has always been very friendly and they make a mean cocktail and have fair prices on their draft beers. If you enjoy this bar, you should also check out the Banshee and Bill’s Town Lounge.
Went there for drinks and dinner on Thursday. We got the Putin and Trash Tacos. They were both delicious! The tacos were fried perfectly with a yummy cheese skirt, and tasty condiments. Terrific taste and mouth feels. Our party loved our meal so much we all went back the next day and ordered all the same items. Soooooo good!
Great espresso martinis and friendly staff! The chicken tacos are tasty!
Jules is literally the best!!! We did our friends tiny bit older party at b street’s back patio. She did so amazing with the group we had along with being able to accommodate to the group we had. She also had an amazing play list!
Don’t be put off by the name GET THE TRASHY CHICKEN TACOS. I came back 3 times in two weeks just to get these tacos. The sauce - AMAZING, the chicken - AMAZING, the cheese skirt - OMG. I’m actually drooling while I’m writing this review. I don’t know when I’ll be back in Chico, but I know this will be my first stop when I’m back.
Our meals were savory and our drinks were amazing!! Katie was an excellent bartender and server. That Bloody Mary rocked!! Definitely coming back.
We were a group of six. The front of the Pub was geared toward smaller groups, but we were able to find seating at the back near the patio. It was way too hot to sit outside, but I was pleased to note that the patio is dog-friendly. Good to know for the future. It was comfortable inside. I ordered the Cadillac Grilled Cheese, which was enormous and quite tasty. The ham was good, but I will probably leave that off the next time, just because of personal preference. The Duck Fat French Fries were delicious. The service was good, split between the bartender and the waitress. They don't serve coffee, though. Bummer. We had asked to split the checks, and that wasn't a problem, even though there were six of us. The waitress settled the bill at the table electronically. I'm not sure how I feel about doing it there, but since they were gracious enough to allow us to split the checks, I can't quibble. I'm sure it was easier for her that way. Good company, good food, good times.
The food was exceptionally great! We ended up getting the steak ends with duck fries and a salad. The steak was very, very good lots of amazing flavor, nice and tender you could cut it with a fork! We also got a burger that was very good as well! The fries were very good too! Interesting drawing art on the wall! lol Not sure if this table would have been considered a booth, but it would’ve been nice to have a real booth for the high prices of this place. The walls when you walk to the bathroom are dirty though, food and service was great!
Went here last night for date night with my hubby. No inside seating when we arrived so we hung out in the patio until a table opened up inside (30 min give or take). Luckily they have outdoor heaters. Food was amazing we got the cubano sandwich & hamburger. Their fries were the best!!! I can’t wait to go back this place is a gem :)
Run, don’t walk, to B Street Public House for a great meal, good date night spot for drinks and apps. The poutine is amazing.. tastes just like the poutine in Montreal.
Oh my oh my🤩 literally everything we ordered was amazing! Trashy fried chicken tacos w/cheese skirt, crispy pork rice (I wanted to drink the dressing it was sooo good!), Vietnamese wings, duck fat fries is what I've tried so far. I can't wait to go back and try more items.UPDATE-tried the Smoked Salmon Tartine..OMG everything about it is crave worthy...the salty pop of the caviar on top..gaaa😋 Also, best hash browns ever! Brunch Sat/Sun 9-2pm Lunch 11-2pm everyday, dinner I believe is everyday 2pm-? They have patio outdoor seating (dogs allowed) chalk board walls to draw on. Full cocktail bar.
Never disappointed here. Been now at least 5 times we come and food is well executed and constant. Good service. Good ambiance. Full bar. I love that place. Cheers!
Got the famous duck fat fries and Cubano. I do not like it, I LOVE IT! paired with cranberry spritz, you know it’s a good drink if it makes you smile; It made me smile all the way. My good friend got a trashy chicken tacos, I tried a bite and My tastebuds were rejoicing! Great food, cool vibe. Especially patio seating. Will surely come back!
Atmosphere is different than in the past. Menu is smaller but nonetheless still awesome food. The duck fat fries are amazing. The Cuban sandwich is on point.
Wow! Unbelievable food. Ordered the deviled eggs, the grilled cheese, and the white trash tacos. Everything was pheonemenal and the beers were ice cold. Can't wait to go back!
Good location in downtown Chico. Food is a bit greasy but that’s what we love! Duck fat fries 🤌🏻. solid beer and cocktail selection. We prefer the patio seating in the back but the Inside seating is dark and cozy.
Great food, but slow service for lunch time. I can't recommend the duck fat fries enough! They're really delicious with just the right amount of crunch. Their street corn/elotes are amazing as well! A great mix of creamy, salty, spicy, with just a kiss of freshly squeezed lime on top. They sell out of the elotes a LOT, so I recommend getting there early if you want and order! During the fall and winter they also do Ramen Mondays with a really tasty ramen! My husband and I are HUGE fans of the Trashy Chicken Tacos, too!

Didn't ate too much but it was really good, nice place and good service.
Outstanding food! Creative menu! Always great service and staff. Oh my goodness . . . those steak tips! Wow! We drive from Paradise just to have a couple of ESPRESSO MARTINIS!!!!! Super yummy!😋
Bartender in the black button up was extremely kind, the cocktail we ordered was excellent. They also had 2Towns on tap which is great to see. The Kimchi Ruben which our server recommend was so good! Looking forward to coming back!

This place is pretty solid. I've been here several times and thier food is always on point. Their duck fat fries are amazing along with thier sauce. Thier cubano and brussell sprouts are also just as amazing. Don't forget to try their trash tacos as well! Their draft also features a lot of local beers and is a rotating draft as well so be on the lookout for a lot of seasonal beers! Be aware if you are here during lunch when they are open for brunch they have a limited menu so go later in the day (after 1 or 2) to get their full menu since their kitchen is transitioning over. Don't forget to go to their sister restaurant The Banshee!
It was pretty packed at 6 pm. My friend and I were able to grab two seats at the bar and then transition to a booth when it became available. The bartender was awesome! He made me a drink that was not on the list. The Trashy tacos were great. My friend and I were able to have a good conversation the ambiance was great!
Pretty Solid Taphouse with quality ( expensive) food. Service could be much better ~ Overall a good option to keep in mind
The food was very good. Trashy chicken tacos are amazing! If you think wings have been over done and there is nothing new try the caramel Vietnamese wings they are nothing short of genius. Love it. Can't wait to go back for cocktails. And everyone is super friendly from the bartender to the waitress. Women holding it down being strong and positive. Loved their vibe.
Great food, especially the crispy pork rice bowl! Cocktails were excellent too, and location downtown is so convenient. Service at the bar and tables inside is fast and consistent, but patio can be hit or miss. There's sometimes food/drink service on the patio, sometimes not, and no sign to know when to order inside. Don't wait around hungry like I did, and check with staff even if it says seat yourself!
Visited October 30th. Went here to check it out after shopping snd eating lunch at at Tres Hombres. We were looking to have a cocktail and an appetizer. There was only 1 server who was also the bartender. He was overwhelmed and not his fault. After waiting awhile we decided to leave. He was too busy to wait on us. They have indoor and outside seating ( dog friendly!). The entry and outside was full of leaves..nothing that a broom can't take care of! Probably won't be back but probably a fun place at night with your college friends!
One of the best small plate experiences I've had in Chico in 3 years. Food is great. Tried the mussels, Ramen, duck fat fries, Mexican street corn, chucken and El Pastor Tacos, Shisito peppers, loved everything.. liked their New York Sour and Pimms cup cocktails the most. Patio seating by the fire pit made the experience better. Waiters were great! Nice music.

Place was nice and chill. Poutine was not good but the Mussels were amazing! Great options for beer on tap. I would go back just for the mussels and the beer 🍺
We did not enjoy the food or the decor. The service was good. We had the trashy tacos. And I believe the Cuban sandwich which I definitely did not like. Tacos were ok. But the decor is not my vibe.
They don't start serving lunch until 11 despite only being open until 2pm. We hoped coming in at 10:30 would allow us to try the fries everyone talks about but we were unable to order them. So we all settled for breakfast items. The bacon was good but the biscuits were very salty and I'm not a fan of rosemary in my gravy but it was in there. To each their own. The service was okay.. they forgot a few items a couple times and we needed to get someone's attention for the check after a while of no one checking in or refilling drinks. The seating is not very good for larger groups, more of a date place seating wise. Cute inside. Music was a bit loud for quiet communication but still cozy and cute.
The service is awful since the new ownership takeover. We have been here 3 times since and every time we have to wait a lengthy amount of time to be seated while the servers are standing at the bar chatting with each other. We had to interrupt their conversation to assist us. The service definitely needs to improve.

Sign in front reads "WAIT TO BE SEATED". Female bartender tells us she'll be right with us. 2 minutes later, the male bartender tells us to have a seat wherever. So we grab menus and wait outside...for 15 minutes. Then a guy came out and informed us that they don't take orders outside. 🙄 Fine. We walked back in and stood awkwardly at the bar giving our orders while dodging foot traffic. We paid then walked back out to our table, and waited another 20 minutes until our orders trickled out 1 by 1. By the time we all got our food, most of our meals were cold. I got the crispy chicken tacos since they were out of the pork, and my chicken was so crispy I thought they were croutons! My husband's chicken was better, so he shared a little with me. The guacamole sauce was thin and flavorless. We never did get refills on our drinks, but the bathrooms were clean so they get an extra star for that. I won't be returning.
Very slow service took 45 minutes to get three drinks, 30 minutes to get a burger, seemed very understaffed and the server had a bad attitude though I can’t blame her she was running around with no help from the bar. How long does it take to pour a beer? This place had always been inconsistent won’t go back again, The ownership needs to get with it there is clearly some staffing and organizational problems.
Worst service ever. I have came back here time after time thinking it would get better. Just never has. Bartenders have their favorite customers and serve them only. The kitchen never seems to be able to prepare the food on the menu. Always an excuse of “ we got slammed earlier so we only have fries” this has happened to me twice now. The bartender complained the whole time because she hates making the Bloody Mary mix. I didn’t even order a Bloody Mary. She also talked to a different customer the whole time I was trying to order. She kept going on and on about her year abroad. That’s awesome she traveled but I am also a paying customer who wants to order after her already taking 5 minutes to even realize I sat down. The drinks are good. The liquor is pretty base level in specialty cocktails for what you pay for but they are good. Wish I could rave about the food but I haven’t been able to try it recently due to the kitchen “ not being ready” even though I have a menu and the host said that lunch is being served.
long story short: Food too expensive and sub-par, waitress stole our change and had no customer service skills. Food was generic and fine albeit overpriced for what it was. Atmosphere was great. The real let down was the service. 5 of us came and ordered our food, some of our food took a good deal longer than usual which I can forgive. But when it came time to pay the waitress gave us our total. We explained we needed it split. She said she could only split it three ways. We said we needed it split 5 ways. She rolled her eyes and then asked us each what we had one at a time. When two of us wanted to pay with cash she said she couldn't give change. I replied with we needed change. She rolled her eyes and walked away, we never got our change.
It’s unfortunate, I used to enjoy this establishment. I’ve come in and been accommodated many evenings for groups big and small, hosted work lunch events in the past. I had one poor experience recently with service given. Ever since the service has continued to decline. Preference is given to specific individuals at the bar when ordering. I feel my service is unwanted so I will avoid this bar in the future.
Just walked in here at 9:30 pm. Immediately upon entering some goober behind the bar with a bow tie on yells at me saying they are closed? Ok 👍 So I let them know that online thier establishment says that they are open till midnight? I was very respectful when I said this but then another goober comes from the back wearing suspenders 😂 chimes in giving me attitude about the fact that I let them know that their hours say midnight. I’ll never go to this spot again!! Way too many good spots in Chico to deal with fools that have no idea about respect or customer service. This place just took an L forever in my opinion

We tried it for the third time today, and given the choice of going back or being beaten over the head with a baseball bat ID GLADLY TAKE THE BAT. Our first visit was this summer for brunch. We were walking our dog downtown and saw their sign saying "dog friendly patio " , so we gave it a try. It was pretty good, service was slow but we thought it was possible an off day. Our second visit was taste of Chico day. We were seated in the crowded patio and 30 minutes later when the waitress asked about our drink order, we said we were good with water but were ready to order. She said she wasn't taking food orders, just drinks. We decided to just leave without ordering, blaming the crowd. Our 3 visit was yesterday Jan 10th 26. We arrived at 10 minutes till 2 , nobody at host station but bartender yelled we could go out back but it would be 15 minutes before we could order since they were switching from brunch to lunch- dinner menu. That would have been fine, we asked about taking menus off the stand and she said they were the wrong ones and our waitress would bring them. We were the only people on patio for 10 minutes when 3 ladies came out with cocktails and menus. Our lab played with their puppy for about 20 when the waitress came and took their order, she then asked if we were ready. We pointed out that we were never given menus, luckily the ladies offered theirs. She came back 10 minutes later at 230 and took our order, dip for appetizer burger for me salad for my friend. 30 minutes later the bartender was checking on the ladies when she asked how everything was, we said we ordered 30 minutes ago and hadn't gotten anything yet. 10 minutes later we got our appetizer and our mains at the same time. It now an hour and 20 minutes since we seated ourselves, so we were pretty hungry. The dip seemed okay when we got it, I asked for the burger easy sauce, it was dripping all over my plate and down my arm's. I ate the fries that were okay and half the burger and fed the rest of the patties to the dogs. My friends salad didn't look very fresh, she ate about half and left the rest. We would have complained if anyone had asked, but they didn't. Half hour after we were served she finally came back and asked about to go box we said no thanks. By this point we just wanted out. Waitress looked indignant, when my friend left a 10% tip. I thought that was more than generous ( we tipped 50% our first visit). I thought that would be the end of it until 11pm when my stomach started churning, I'm on my second trip to the bathroom at 1230 a.m. hoping the ginger ale and Tums help. NEVER AGAIN.
Waited over an hour for food. Drinks were all wrong. Chef was incredibly rude. Sent out cold food and when simply asked to heat the food back up the chef decided to come out to our table, talk down to us with a condescending tone, and tell us 4 times that he had a thermometer and his food wasn’t cold. The food was cold. Fully put a finger into it. It was cold. Probably because we waited over an hour for it. Fire your pompous rude chef. Will not return.
