I love this place and it was my first time eat here. Environment and services were pleasant and friendly. It was my birthday week so my friend told the waiters and they brought me a slice of hot chocolate cake with vanilla ice cream on top of it, it was delish! Thanks so much 😊. Foods it self was yummy and perfect amount of portions, price are good, I will definitely come back to this restaurant nearby anywhere. Highly recommended!

Place is delicious. I go here for a good bone in steak. It's huge and the mash potatoes are fabulous. Outdoor siting is also nice place to dine. I also recommend the chocolate cake. Got that for his B-day :)

Friendly service. Came on a Sunday around 5pm and there was no line. This place had a vegan burger that my vegan girlfriend enjoyed. I got the fried chicken sandwich. It tasted delicious and even better with BBQ sauce. There are plenty of vegan options here.

At yard house during Happy hour (3-6pm). Many tasty appetizer with half price off and discount on cocktails, beer, and wine. Make sure be there and order before 6pm. Usually packed in chino hills location.

I loved the sweet potato pancakes as a side, the sweet chili honey that came with it was delicious. They are usually served with the fried chicken. Service was attentive and friendly. Ahi Sashimi was wonderful and a great presentation.

Happy Hour is a steal, fantastic place to watch important sport events because every seat has a really good view of the TVs. There's at least 15-20 TVs in here. strawberry mule is great for those who want sweet alcohol. can't go wrong with sliders, and bbq pizza

Really enjoyed our time here. Great bar, good beer, and cocktails. The spinach dip was delicious, the wings were ok. We had dessert, which was absolutely delicious.

This is one of my favorite spots it's one of my to go to. If you sit at the bar more than likely the service is a lot better even with food and drinks and I find it to be faster and I just think they're just more attentive of course when you get seated it's good as well but you know when you're just wanting to have a beer and a decent snack a small meal with somebody it's the bar is still my favorite

Still coming here for happy hour. Lots of choices for happy hour food and of course tons of draft beers. During happy hour, regular menu food took forever to come out, almost like they focus only on pumping out apps during this time. Otherwise, great as usual

Our waitress Amber was more than you ever expect in customer service anymore. It made our dinner for my birthday easy and nice. Even though they were crowded, we never felt rushed. Brussel sprouts so tasty and perfectly 👌🏾 tender.

Absolutely love this restaurant. We came during Happy hour, food was 1/2 price on Special menu, and they tasted fresh and delicious. We ordered Chicken lettuce wraps, (love its butter lettuce), Fried calamari (so crispy), Teriyaki chicken pizza and Chicken tenders. The were all so yummy. Service was fast and friendly. I always stop in here when I'm in the Chino Hills area. I was meeting a friend who hadn't yet arrived, but they sat me in a booth right away. They were already getting busy, so that was a nice gesture. The service, as always, was very good. My friend loves beers and happily order some of their drafts. We had some nacho appetizer, and I ordered a Filet Mignon for my entree. Beautiful meat and vegetables, perfectly cooked. Yes, it's a chain restaurant, but it's an upscale one; I've always had quality food, great service, and an enjoyable time at this location of Yard House.

During recent visit to Chino Hills stopped in to the Yard House in town. Not very busy at about 5pm before the dinner rush. We got to try some old favorites and some new delicious bites. BBQ bacon cheddar burger, minus bacon, with sweet potato fries was cooked just right - BBQ sauce, garlic aioli, served on Yard House's newly revamped brioche bun with sesame seeds. Grilled cheese with tomato bisque: just right for the coolness and time time of the day - this is not your traditional kids grilled cheese; it is full of yellow and white cheddar, Swiss, and fontina cheeses, along with slices of roasted tomatoes. A soon to become favorite: Korean bbq cheesesteak sandwich - chipped ribeye, white cheddar, kimchi, gochujang, caramelized onions, green onions, and a roasted garlic aioli tying it l everything together...yum! We finished this meal together with Yard House's brookie: cookie dough fudge brownie, chocolate and caramel sauces, with a scoop of vanilla ice cream over top. Shared between four, this was just right for the table on this day. The service at the Chino Hills Yard House was great. Our server was great with their timing and number of visits to the table, keeping us engaged, and allowing us space to enjoy our meal. We will definitely keep this possession in mind when visiting this area of town.

My husband had the 8oz grilled filet, it was tender and the steak sauce was amazing. Lobster garlic pasta was delicious! For dessert we shared a bookie, which was a brownie and cookie combination topped with one scoop of vanilla ice cream, that was ok. I think they should make a brownie with mint chocolate chips and walnuts and top that with a huge scoop of mint chocolate chip. The service was good, although the waitress asked if I could give her a good rating on the survey, which I thought was weird because if you are giving it ur all and customer service is excellent then you shouldn't have to ask.

Its Yard House!...chill vibes, inviting atmosphere, and the great standard for excellence you can expect from this upscale chain. Not a single item I would not try from their menu...and with over a 100+ beers on tap to wash down any dish...no reason not to step inside and say hello. Look for Walter or Zo if sitting at the bar. Best Bartenders ever!

Oktoberfest at the Yard House has a selection of beers for the event, a promotion with purchase of a souvenir 1 liter beer stein with $5 dollar yards through October 26th, was the reason for the return visit. Always busy at this location in Chino Hills at the Shoppes, but bar seating is available on occasion without a wait. Enjoyed our appetizers, vegetarian options exist, we tried the garden wings and the nachos we ordered with meat on the side, it did have cheese so not vegan or vegetarian but a bit closer. Good portion for the price. A nice dining experience, the staff was extremely helpful and attentive. Will be back. If you enjoy a dining experience in a setting that is sports bar/busy and loud.

American chain with eclectic range of food. Ate here with my family as it’s one of my mom’s favorite places to eat (she loves the lobster garlic noodles). I tried to be healthy and ordered the gardien bowl (vegan). Potions are generous. We split an order of wings (buffalo sauce and the dry rub) and those were nicely fried. Our waitress Kashmir was super sweet and a great server. You can join the waitlist online in advance but when we arrived there around 11:30am on a Sunday, we were able to be seated immediately.

The ambience was good the music a bit loud when trying to talk. The service was good, however the appetizer went to the wrong table. However, the server made up for it.

We came in hungry and ended up doing a little tour of the menu, and every plate looked like it was made by someone who cares about texture, temperature, and how food is supposed to land on the table. Start with the comfort factor: the soups were way better than “bar food soup.” The tomato-based bowl was smooth and rich with that slow-cooked, slightly sweet tomato flavor and a gentle herb finish—perfect with a spoonful-by-spoonful heat that doesn’t fade. The creamy soup (topped with crunchy tortilla strips, fresh cilantro, and a bite of avocado) was next-level cozy: velvety base, savory depth, and that contrast of crisp toppings that keeps it interesting until the last scoop. It’s the kind of starter that makes you slow down and actually enjoy it instead of rushing to the entrée. Then the mains showed off the range. The shrimp pasta was a standout: plump shrimp, plenty of sautéed mushrooms, greens woven through the noodles, and a garlicky, buttery sheen that felt indulgent without turning greasy. The flavors were layered—salty, savory, a little peppery—while the noodles stayed nicely separated instead of clumping. If you’re looking for something that eats like a full meal (not a “light” pasta), this one hits. We also ordered a taco plate that was basically a greatest-hits sampler. One taco leaned shrimp-forward with bright lime and fresh herbs; another brought a richer, more savory vibe (the kind of taco you want when you’re craving depth); and the crispy one had that satisfying crunch with a creamy drizzle and shredded greens on top. The rice and beans on the side weren’t an afterthought either—well-seasoned, warm, and hearty, which matters when you’re sharing plates. Pizza fans: don’t skip it. The mushroom pizza came out blistered and golden around the edges with bubbly cheese, a generous layer of mushrooms, and a light drizzle that tied everything together. The place has that classic Yard House energy—big menu, lots of movement, sports on, and a “stay for one more round” feel—without letting the food slip into autopilot.

I'm giving this place a 4 because me and my daughter ordered filet steak medium rare and rare they did not turn out right two times finally we settled to eat what we had. but the server and the manager were excellent to us and they fully refunded our $85 meal!

Waited about 20 mins to sit inside patio area with fans as opposed to outside tables with canopies. It is 100° outdoors so it was still a bit warm. Service was good and friendly. Ordered a side salad with my meal and it was way bigger than I thought.

Food was ok, server looked flustered but handled our table of 6 ok. I’m getting too old (65) music and TV’s we too loud as were the patrons speaking over the TV’s. Portions are medium.

The service and vibe were A+. The food was just ok. I ordered the filet mignon, medium rare. The top was charred and dry and tasted burnt. The carrots were hard. My niece ordered the lava cake for dessert; that was pretty good.

I love the Yard House Franchise because their menu has so many choices of dinners you wish you could make at home or make at home if you have the time 😊 Walking in Yard House we were not greeted by Emma 😐 (that is why there is only 3 stars) we were waiting to give our name to be seated. Standing in line there was someone who Emma helped seat before us and when she returned she didn’t say anything to us and immediately started to help the next person who walked through the door. I interrupted because it’s been a long drive from Las Vegas and I was starving! I said “hello, we’re right here” to let her know we were waiting to be seated, then her demeanor changed and she got an attitude and still never said hello or welcome in and asked us if we wanted to sit at a table or a booth, we did not care where we sat. So we followed her to a table. Then we were greeted by Tatiana. She had a great attitude! She answered all our questions and our food was hot and tasty! I’ll come back again because I like Yard House. I hope they get better hostesses! That job is super important!

I always come here for their happy hour and for their regular items and I always have a good time here. The happy hour menu offers a variety of delicious appetizers that are also very cheap. The happy hour menu is from Monday to Friday from 3-6pm and most of the appetizers and pizza are half off. However, their non-happy hour menu is also very delicious and pretty reasonable priced. However, it’s in the Shoppes so it’s pretty packed on weekends and at night. But overall it’s an amazing place to enjoy some tasty food for not too expensive.

5 STARS FOR PHILIP!!! Big fat ZERO for the manager who was too busy flirting with the hostesses to care that guests who were told the wait was 20 minutes were still waiting after 50 minutes and we would have gone elsewhere if they gave a crap and told us it would be a long wait. So... Once we finally got seated after almost an hour's wait, Philip saved the night with great service and attentiveness. (It was a birthday for my friend, and I told the hoelstesses, but the front desk didn't tell the server about the birthday so no birthday dessert for my friend) 😞 The hostess service and manager really could have been better. At one point there was a group of 5 or 6 employees (including the manager) at the front hostess station with a CROWD of waiting guests. It was not a good look because it looked like they were loafing around while guests were waiting and waiting and waiting. They didn't offer us an alternative seating location (outside) after we had been waiting double the time they said the wait was. Not sure I'll be back for a little while ... They wasted my time and I didn't like the lack of care or communication.

Came here on a Saturday, Dec 18, 2021 to celebrate my winter commencement! Party of 10, arrived around 12:35pm. No wait - we immediately were seated even though my family and I were trickling in (we arrived in 3 different cars haha). I mention this to say your entire party doesn't have to be there to be seated, which was nice! This is definitely not the case when I went to Yard House back in Santana Row (Bay Area, San Jose where I am from haha). Our waiter was great! I was happy with the service, even with our large group! You know how it goes with large groups... the service can be awful sometimes. As a vegetarian, I ordered their Beyond Burger ($16.49) that included vegan mozzarella, crushed avocado, arugula, onion, tomato, pickles on brioche bun with sesame seeds. I asked for fries as my side. It was really yummy!! I was so hungry I ate it ALL. Yes, that entire 1000 calories! I was also starving but it was VERY filling. What's so funny is that the burger looked so much like a "real" meat burger that my grandma thought that I was no longer vegetarian anymore (haha). I explained to her it was a vegan burger and it was definitely not meat. She was bummed out but that's another story. I have also included pictures of what my cousins ordered... sorry I can't remember what they got but they really enjoyed it! My dad and uncle also enjoyed their beers. Even my Asian grandparents loved their food (they ordered some steak dish) and they are SUPER PICKY but they really enjoyed it! Very happy with my experience. What a wonderful way to celebrate me finally finishing school! Highly recommend giving this place a visit if you are celebrating a big day like I was or for a delicious meal! Sounds like you should visit for lunch though if you can... based on the reviews here, it sounds like the wait and experience is different if you come for dinner. Anyway, thank you Yard House!

Typical yardhouse. A hit and miss on service. The overstaffed place scrambles anytime there is a party of more than 4 and expects guests to wait more than 1 hour before they can even get a sip of water. Food is standard, wait staff is mostly running around doing nothing. They will always miss items when ordered personally so always use the kiosk to order and pay the bill. Even with the kiosks the place has too many staff. During my last visit I counted way more staff than tables outside the kitchen even when 1/3rd of the tables were empty and the slow delivery of food from the kitchen made me think the kitchen is probably extremely understaffed. The food is above average, the ambience just so-so. People who flock in here are mostly here for spending money and not for enjoying the food or the ambience (they want to say they went to the yardhouse but they don’t really care for the food).

I like that Yard House partners with Gardein in offering vegetarian choice & specially, like me, vegan options. However, service is slow at this Chino Hills location. This is not the first time, where you have to hunt for the server. I'd say they are under staff - my dissatisfaction

We had a server change at the beginning of our dinner and were given over to Emma. She did not check up on us during our visit so we had to order on the mobile checkout machine. Once we submitted our order and the only time she came up to us was to remind us last call was in 20 minutes. We let her know our drinks were ordered and she walked away. We watched our beers sit at the bar for over 10 minutes, no waitress in sight. My fiancé got up to go to the bathroom and they were still there when he got out. He walked over to the bartender and asked if they were ours and if he could grab them. The bartender graciously told us he would walk them over. Walter honestly killed it! He saved our situation and provided the best service we’ve seen in a while.

My overall experience here was a B-, the food was good however the service was not. Which made me put 3/5 stars. I do appreciate the manager, Joey, making things right and helping accommodate us for our poor service. We will be returning because of his professionalism and dedication to making customers happy.

Not my top place to go to. I love going to happy hour places and the menu here for happy hour is ok. The appetizers are amazing, the drinks not so much. Bartenders are not friendly, they will make your drinks then disappear until they make their rounds. No smile, no conversation whatsoever. Boring.

Food is good. Place is nicely decorated with lots of monitors to see your favorite sports team. Happy hour deals are very good and start at 3:00. Staff is friendly and fast. The food is not great but not bad either. Prices are $$. Plenty of parking.

If you're in the mood for an adult beverage, the Yard House has you covered. They have a large selection of beers on tap, wines and mixed drinks. The food is good as well, with the pizza being the standout. Atmosphere is relaxed with various sports events playing throughout the many televisions hung all around the restaurant. The place is clean and staff is friendly.

Got off the plane after not being in California for 10 years and came straight here for my half yard of beer. Was fortunate that the kitchen was still open so we ordered a few appies to calm over the little appetite we had and the food was great! I had the poke nachos and my friends had the lettuce wraps. The poke nachos were good but i felt they lacked seafood, it was more chips and dressing than there was protein. The lettuce wraps were good, i got to try one - we asked for the chicken on the side as my friend is vegetarian. I ended up added the chicken to my nachos and made it a more filling meal. All in all, the service and quality was as good as i remember it to be - glad it was my first stop in Cali!

Big Fish Dive Club

We haven’t been here for years and decided to watch some football at this place. The Happy Hour menu was the same as the other Yard House that we normally go to, but the food tasted not nearly as good as the other one. The sliders were dry and hardened, the artichoke dip was much smaller in serving size and this place served much less poke in the poke chips platter. It sure looked like this operator was taking some serious steps to cut its operating costs. The service on the other hand was really friendly and good. We observed how hard our server, David, was working and yet still took care all of his guests. Another sign that this operator was trying to cut costs by not hiring enough servers.

Ordered the wings and watched some Thursday night football. The set up is great for sports, but it just doesn’t feel like a sports bar. The wings were ok, too greasy for me and the service just didn’t meet my expectations. I hope everyone else has a better experience.

Our First time visiting a Yard House restaurant. The staff is very friendly and accommodating. Food was pretty good especially the Buffalo wings. We were happy till they brought my food, my plate was so very dirty from the bottom (dried old food and sauce) it was disgusting. Before bringing that dirty plate out 3 people the dishwasher, cook and food runner touched it and didn't pay enough attention to see it. It was so noticeable not to see it or feel the chunks of sauce and food on the bottom of the plate. The server did apologize but I feel like should have been done about it for the inconvenience.

The food was good but I was very disappointed with the portion they gave out. For the amount of money you pay your stomach should be satisfied and not wanting more in order to be filled. The burger was small and the fries were like kids size. My wife dish was also small. It’s better to cook your own meals and eat home if this is what the restaurant and fast food industry is coming too. We want to support and help them but they must provide better service overall. I doubt at this moment I will ever go back there again.

Had to send my son's food back 3 times before we just gave up and asked for something else. Server was nice enough, but didn't care to truly fix the bad experience. My child ended up not eating dinner that night because they were incompetent.

After waiting 30 minutes, we finally got a table, but it was in a corner where we couldn't see the football game. When we asked for a different table, they said we'd have to wait another 30 minutes. It's only fair that we should be next in line, but having to wait behind everyone else again was outrageous. I was so frustrated that I just went to a different sports bar. I frequent the Yard House in Victoria Gardens and Chino Hills, and this experience was incredibly disappointing. We even had a group gathering there before, but I don't think I'll be going back anytime soon.

this place Atmosphere is way to dirty and the food taste bland no flavor and the service is very slow and unclear as well and there bone less wing is over flavored and there sweet potato taste need some flavors and it take forever to get my food and my orange juice and my hot tea and they also almost forgot my tea and the paying things on the table is very frustrating to use and the place feel way to small and the service was a mess at dinner time and the cheesecake BRULEE need to be less sweet overall and the overall experience not good and i will not come back for more.

Wait was horrible and the manager was not accommodating refuse to place 2 tables together for a party of 6 but sat a party of 10 in less then 10 minutes! Felt absolutely discriminated because I has my small dog with me asked for seating outside due to the small dog and still wasn't accommodating at all not pet friendly!

What happened to the size of the portions. It’s downright ridiculous what they are charging and how small they have become. Recently went here for company Xmas party and spent almost $500 Ordered some apps Chicken wraps were $15. Literally there was a spoonful of chicken. They gave us 20 pieces of lettuce and I would be lucky to be able to get two wraps from this. What’s joke Calamari minus the squid Small portion and even worse it was all bread and no squid. Worse calamari I’ve ever had Salmon portion appears to be a six oz portion now bs an 8 I order a $22 poke salad. Amount of poke was small but I would’ve been ok with that if it included the rest of the salad. At $22 it’s an entree salad. There were two bites worth of arugula and two bites worth of seaweed salad. Salad is cheap add enough greens to make it an entree. I don’t have unrealistic Cheesecake Factory portion size expectations. The ones here are stupid small Don’t waste your money at this place. Save it for somewhere that cares
