The service is really great. if you ever need to study or get work done the atmosphere is great to do it here. The drinks are awesome too. if you ever have a chance to visit i suggest trying out one of their cold drinks, polar bear. I usually come here to finish or study work. Also the people come to this place too are really nice too. out of all the times ive been coming here i seen all types of reasons why people are coming here. definitely a family friendly area.
After taking a look at their menu, I knew I needed to try them out. I had a delicious raspberry truffle drink and my friend had some kind a chai drink. Original flavors, a bit sweet as far as the raspberry truffle went, but I don't regret stepping out of my comfort zone. I visited on a Friday night, and sat on the entrance couch for a good 2 hours. It turned out to be a good spot, the place was filled but not too loud. Give it a try!
Attentive, polite employees. Decent prices as well!
Coffee definitely tops other popular chain coffee shops. The vibe and ambiance is what brings you back. This is now a fave spot for me and my husband every Saturday/Sunday morning.
I wish this place was closer then I'd go more often. They have an amazing eggplant sandwich, non veggie eating people would even eat it! Their coffee is delicious....I like mine sweet and their drinks have a nice balance between those hardcore bitter coffee drinks and diabetes sweet.
Love this place. You stand having your coffee at the bar. The coffee quality is fantastic and it’s great value - 90 cents for an espresso, 1.10 euro for a cappuccino. They’re very quick as well. Extremely busy on the weekends and in the mornings so stop by on a weekday afternoon for a more quiet and less chaotic experience!!
This was a great find for all of those that live in south county. This place blows all of the chain coffee places out of the water. The smoked turkey sandwich was excellent and my Frappuccino espresso was strong. What I really like about this place was that it has a decent selection of micro brews on tap. I would return again if I was in the area.
Idk his name but the gentleman with glasses and a beard is awesome. He was the only barista today and it was INSANELY busy and he was on a roll and my drink tasted amazing. Quality was definitely not compromised, will keep coming back!
Great service and they sell craft beer at a decent price.
Food is good, they were out of certain dishes but is a nice place to meet or do homework with coffee.
Great Service.. thank you Aaron and Gian Carlos!!!
First time here and it’s officially my new favorite coffee shop!! Delicious matcha ! And barista Monse super welcoming !! Love it
Awesome coffee shop with a lot of food and coffee (plus beer and wine!) options. It was busy when I went so the wait for my coffee was average for a busy time. Service was otherwise good. The vibe was nice, too. The frosted mint mocha is super good especially if you like mint.
This was my first visit to Caffe Tazza. I had a large, decaf, non-fat, Mexican mocha and it was delicious! It was hot and had just the right amount of chocolate. I was pleased and surprised to see that they had hamantaschen and rugelach (Jewish cookies) yay! I will definitely return to try some food. ☮️
Love this place! It's an open cafe with plenty of seating for people actually eating, or doing work. Very healthy menu with smoothies, sandwiches, salads. The sandwiches are pretty big, my mom and I wished we would have split one and the smoothie we got! We got the Tuna, and the Eggplant sandwich and the large berry smoothie
What a great Cafe. They have coffee, sandwiches, beer, wine, smoothies, and more. A great place to hang out with friends. They have something for everyone. Staff is friendly and fast. Highly recommend checking it out if you are in the area.
Frozen lavender latte with an extra shot… MUST TRY! Very summer drink but i love it all year!❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️ Very happy to find this wonderful place!
I am so pleased by my visit to Caffe Tazza! The place is really nice, they have plenty of seating options with outlets to plug your computers if you’re looking to work from there. The service is great! They’re so attentive and nice, which is always appreciated. They have a big selection of pastries, sandwiches and drink options you can choose from. I decided to get a hot chai and it was SO GOOD! I regretted getting the small one. I also got a sandwich, I could tell the ingredients are fresh which is always a plus! I noticed they use Kirkland products, which I really like because I can tell the quality is pretty good!! I am absolutely looking forward on coming back. Thanks Caffe Tazza!
I loved this coffee shop! The staff were friendly and my matcha lavender latte with cold lavender foam was SO delightful and delicious. They had lots of food options, coffees and teas, smoothies and more! Highly recommend!

For all occasions, For a quick update with friends For a business meeting For a glass/bottle of wine For a Date. For homework This place has it all in a nice neighborhood.
I've had a great experience each time I've been here. Their coffee choice is wide with plenty of options, including tasty smoothies! It's a good meeting spot too, always people here.

Very nice place with a good selection of custom made coffees and blends We particularly liked the Polar Beer a delicious combination of white chocolate, espresso and Irish cream syrup. The baristas are very nice and accommodating. Definitely a place to hang out and relax. They also have a good selection of pastries to accompany your beverage. If I could change something would be the lighting as it comes right on your face while you seat in the comfortable couches in the dinning room. Over all a great place to be.
Their coffee quality has suffered over the years and so has their service, less so, but still noticeable. I'm actually a regular here, but that's because the South Bay lacks coffee joints that are open on consistent times. They do have a slightly larger variety of sugar free options, which is nice if you are trying to cut back on the sugar. The atmosphere of the place has shifted to a more business, "fresa," type of joint. They recently made a deal with Atitude Brewing, which I think is a bad move given their bad-rep in the Chicano community. They have a great eggplant sandwich...still.
Great place to have good coffee. But I still do not understand why the door that says PUSH is locked and the one that has no sign on the right side is open…! Two doors to access or exit and every single person that has entered in the last 5 hours that I’ve been here crash with the closed door, that is the one that you use to enter… Insane, but true… hahaha.
I wish it was closer to home! It has a nice atmosphere. My drinks and sandwich were overall great! The pumpkin Chai iced coffee tasted like Autumn. A very special drink! I recommend it! The only reason why I didn't give five stars is because the sandwich chicken breast was not the best piece, it was hard to chew. ^^;; I will come back and give it another try. I had a good experince.
Clean and trendy atmosphere. The ice blend mocha is a bit bland. Altogether I ordered the ice blend mocha, hot mocha, and smoothie. They came out to be almost $18. I thought this was very pricey considering the better quality of drinks at Starbucks or Jamba Juice. If you are looking for a trendy place to hang out, then I would recommend this place. Else, the alternative is less expensive at Starbucks or Jamba Juice.
4.95 for 8 pimiento Olives. 10.00 for sourdough and artichoke dip Bread wasnt even sourdough. The school and lavender matcha were great.

Not a spot for a quick bite, but there are great teas and espresso drinks available. There is a food menu with bagels and egg toast variations. Expect a wait time, otherwise bring a book or a laptop.

It is actually a very nice and clean place. Went really early in the morning so seating was no problem. Wish the service was good. Both employees looked like they did not want to be there. Took about 3 min of standing in the register for one of them to help after they where done talking to some of their friends that where asking for a refill. Both seemed in a bad mood and in no hurry to help. I work in customer service and sad to see employees like these that have no desire to help or work. Expresso was a bit weak and when i asked for cream or sugar she just pointed to the corner. Probably not coming back.
I’ve been a regular over the years as I love studying here from time to time. But I don’t know what has happened recently that their coffee taste weak and/or the coffee bean is burnt. The owner needs to start paying attention with customer service as it starts lacking as the employees doesn’t seem motivated to work here. I’ve been noticing new employees every time I come through. Overall a good vibe to come to the shop to study or catch up with some work.
I really wanted to say I love this place since I’m take any alternative to Starbucks. I’ve been here several times now. The food is decent and the drinks are good. I love that I can literally stay here from coffee time to cocktail hour. They provide plugs to welcome digital nomads. But the prices, holy smokes!! More expensive than Starbucks? I can’t justify the cost of coming here. And the staff don’t seem to appreciate that the ONLY reason I might step through this door is because I want other options besides the aforementioned.

I've been a customer since 2003 through multiple owners and have spent a lot of money here because of the service and product. I am not sure if the coffee product changed, but I stopped buying a basic cup as it didn't taste as good. I've purchased hundreds of sugar free blended, made only with espresso and last weekend the young man that made mine just did the mix and ice, and I asked if he had used espresso. I will give them another try, but I will stop being a consumer if it doesn't improve. Buy good coffee and make it like the consumer requests. Heck, at this point I would have to travel to Cafe Calabria or settle for lousy Starbucks.
I visited Cafe Tazza today and I was little disappointed asked for pumpkin spice latte and a pumpkin spice mocha said didn’t have it but asked for a different drink and a chocolate croissant. Only charged one drink (never got the one I asked for) and croissant was hard as a rock not fresh. 😪🫠.
Took forever to get our coffee. The barista was taking her sweet time. When we asked where our order was she was unapologetic kept taking her time. If they are short staffed then they need to hire more people. Will not be going back.
Regular coffee is self serve, and the coffee came out lukewarm. We asked if they can give us hot coffee so they took the lukewarm coffee and steamed it. We also ordered two "Polar Bears" and both were too sweet that we couldn't drink them. We went home and added straight coffee to them. Months later we came back to see if they have improved. The turkey sandwich was good, they serve it with a pickle slice. I got a latte and it was mediocre, not much taste to it, like it was watered down. We frequent cafés so maybe we are used to more seasoned baristas that provide better quality.
stopped by sunday evening. “brownie cheese cake”. 2/5 something seemed off, stale taste. lavender latte 1/5 super sweet even after mixing the foam in. First thought was just the foam was sweet but no. black forest mocha 3/5 took a sip and was also too sweet, not drinkable so ask to get it fixed. second attempt was better but the drink didn’t match the description on the board. Still sweet but at least drinkable. atmosphere rating due to a random dog barking / making noise in cafe. Yes animals make noise but this was not bearable. P.S.A i don’t generally leave bad reviews i try and give places a chance but the quality was just not there.
Their 12 oz latte tasted more like a regular coffee with milk. The microform was nearly non-existent. If this was the first latte I had ever drank, I would not order a latte again. It had a stale taste. Even Starbucks can make a better latte and I am definitely not a fan of their lattes. Scrimshaw Cafe, Bird Rock Cafe and Manzanita Coffee Roasters make real lattes. Update. I could not force myself to drink it. I requested it be remade and asked questions. Found out they don't check and adjust the grind, which partially explains the weak coffee taste. The lack of attention to the grind and stale taste, leads me to believe the beans are not fresh. I also learned, that they didn't use whole milk, although that is what was ordered. This explains why it was watery. I found out they don't have whole milk. Only 2 percent, low-fat and half and half and half. The barista remade the latte with half and half. She had a good attitude about it. It was drinkable, yet I could make something tastier at home with instant coffee. If you are a sweet blended drink lover, my sister and great niece say those are good. If you like coffee, lattes, espresso, etc. I recommend avoiding Caffe Tazza.

I was a customer until yesterday. I won't go back. Terrible customer service, the cashiers don't listen, they answer horribly, the barista prepares things angrily. I never asked them for charity, I paid for the products and even left them a good tip. I regret having gone.
I went in for a simple coffee and a bagel with cream cheese. When I got to the place to order I asked for their Milky Way Mocha. The cashier asked how I would like my coffee. When I asked which one people usually like the drink, she looked like I had just assigned her a science project! She looked like she was starting to panic! When she hasn't responded, I asked if she had ever had the drink. That didn't help, so I just said I'll take it hot. She mumbled something about it comes blended or hot. I just said that hot is fine and then ordered a bagel with cream cheese. It cost $8.96. The whole looked like they had never worked at a coffee shop. The coffee came, but that was it. I figured the bagel with cream cheese should be up soon. It doesn't take long to make. But it didn't. They were seemingly so busy even though not a whole lot of people were there. After ten minutes I knew that they just forgot my bagel and decided to just go with a refund. So I approached the cashier and thankfully it a different one. But my luck held true and she had no idea what to do. After several minutes of several workers tried to figure out what to do, one of them started actually processing my refund. Of course, suddenly the bagel magically appeared but at that point I didn't care. I told them my order and it was now right in front of me. They said that I should just keep the coffee and bagel but I told them I no longer wanted it. They almost insisted that I take it, but finally I said that I don't care and I'm not taking it. I just wanted a REFUND! And with every bit of my order in front of them, I was only given a refund of $6.45!!! They told me to have a nice day and I asked for the receipt. Again, they were baffled! I repeated that I wanted my receipt and finally they understood and gave it to me! My payment to them posted IMMEDIATELY on my bank account, but still no refund is showing up. These people were shockingly incompetent!
This is the first and the last time that we come here. Unfortunately, my sister and I had a horrible experience with the cashier. She was extremely rude when we were asking a simple question about the sizes. She had a terrible look on her face, and it was a terrible interaction overal. Even while placing my order she looked like she was bothered by it. My sister and I were both baristas of Starbucks for years and we chose to support a small business for once, but we will be letting our friends know to avoid this place. So much for their grand reopening.
Other than the kind greeting from the girl who took our order, no effort was made from the staff. My wife and I ordered two simple breakfast items to go and it took 30 minutes to get our order. While customers waited, staff was seen laughing and giggling with each other, and taking breaks to talk to bar guests on personal levels, not being proactive. Very disappointing coming from a person who works in the industry.
Been going here for years but lately it’s always dirty, always crumbs and trash on the floor. The walls are stained with food coffee and who knows what. Tables are always wobbly. Coffee whatever now, last 3 times we’ve gone it has been really sweet. Overall it’s dirty, coffee quality has gone down, worst part is that the workers walk past all this stuff and they don’t care to clean it up or fix it.

I stopped by 15 min before closing time and asked for a black American coffee. I was told by a guy with long hair & glasses that they dont make coffee near closing time. Like why be a coffee shop then? This is ridiculous, do better
To start, the customer in front of us warned us that they were only taking cash right now. When it got to be our turn, my husband suggested that they post something on the door or pastry case, that said “Cash Only”. The gal told him that management wouldn’t allow it. (So, people had to wait in a long line only to find out that they couldn’t pay with their credit/debit card.) We waited 30 minutes for our order. Each item came out slowly, one item at a time. When my husband’s breakfast panini came out, he checked the different layers. The egg was hard and crumbly, grey and brown in color. (Disgusting) He went to the counter and requested a refund on our two breakfast items. While waiting for the cash, a lady was requesting a refund as well, her bagel was hard as a rock.
First and last time here. It wasn't terribly busy, but the line moved slowly because the cashier and the barista were chit chatting instead of moving things along. The couple in line in front of us left after realizing it was going to take a while. The cashier was nice. The food options were meh and the food itself was sooo bland. Our breakfast "paninis" were a poor attempt at a breakfast sandwhich that definitely lacked flavor but what it didn't lack was an eggshell in mine. 😒🤮 We ordered the lavender white mocha with cold foam (that's how it's advertised on the board) but received white mochas with lavender cold foam - very light and sweet, not the strong lavender flavor like other places. Also, might be smart to use a speaker system with the outside speakers playing music because we could hardly hear the person calling out names for drinks/orders.
