Great place to eat. The street tacos and burritos are the best.
The food is amazing I come here atlest 1 time a week the burritos are huge an the Casadias are amazing there street tacos are great I would do 5 stars on the service an atmosphere but some of the employees publicly make fun of some of the customers an I find it very unprofessional but most of the employees are amazing an very friendly
This place is awesome!!! The service is awesome, always are greeted walking in. They all have smiles and are ready to serve you with their best. Place is always clean, everytime I go. If your hungry for some delicious Mexican food, than this is the place for you! Doesn't disappoint. I can't recommend anything cause it's all delicious!!! Give it a try, you'll be glad you did.
Visiting from Dallas. We had the best service, food was so flavorful. Menudo bowl was huge, tacos were excellent and the starter chips were SO good! Everything was clean and well taken care of. Next ⚾️ tournament we’ll definitely be back!
This place is the best Mexican restaurant in Johnson County. I have been looking for a good Mexican restaurant to go to out here, and for the first time I can say I found my spot. I will be coming back again soon!
Amazing food!!! The number five combo is my grandson and my favorite. The avocado salsa is perfect for a milder taste. Chips are served hot. It's fast food that has that slow homemade taste!
I went with a group after church. We were all very satisfied with the food and the portions. I ordered the Cali burrito, and it was both delicious and filling! They are located in the old huddle house, and everything has been kept the same, as far as seating and everything. Everyone I have talked with says it's great, and to go there as soon as I can. This was my first visit, and I understand the hype behind it now. I will be back!
First time eating here since we moved to Cleburne 7 months ago and I can’t believe it took us this long to go! The food was delicious! I got an order of 5 rolled potato tacos and 3 chicken street tacos, finished it all and wanted more! Their aguas frescas were really good too. Really clean and nice atmosphere. Will definitely be going back for more!
I love trying new spots especially if I’m out of town, and we decided to give this place a try. We enjoyed every moment from beginning to the end! So much to choose from on their menu, their salt and pepper shakers on their tables are super cute!! I love to see my raza work together, and my food was almost too pretty to eat! Their tortillas are huge too! I wish I lived a lot closer where I could visit a lot more often.
The food here is very very good!!! We drove from Crowley to look at furniture. Decided to Google the best fast Mexican food and this place came up first. Well worth the drive to come back!
The menu is very large and the food is excellent. I have had the Cleburne Burrito, Carne Assada Fries, Chorizo and Eggs with Potato burrito. All have been excellent. All the flavors explode in you mouth and unlike other Mexican Food establishments, it all doesn't taste the same. Excellent Excellent and Excellent. Why go anywhere else?
I eat here at least twice a week. I've tried like 90% of the menu. It's consistently quality food and always delicious. Shout out to the cooks! Highly recommend
We enjoy some of the best breakfast tacos in the country in San Antonio, Texas...so, we we're happily surprised to find Los Vaqueros in Cleburne during our last visit. All breakfast burritos come with the base of egg and cheese. Los Vaqueros IS KILLIN' IT on the 'Deluxe' (ham, bacon, & sausage), 'Sausage', & 'Bacon' breakfast burritos. Outstanding quality! Outstanding value! Very wholesome, great flavor. Self-serve salsa bar includes excellent options of freshly made options. AND, the staff was very courteous and professional. This is a MUST TRY if you're in Cleburne and in the mood for a great breakfast taco. I wish that we'd taken photos...but to tell you the truth, as soon as we got them, we tore into them.
Extremely friendly staff! Loved the salsa bar. The asada fries were delish! We also ordered the Cali burrito (we added beans to it) and it was so good! Would definitely recommend! ⭐️
We eat here (or order take-out) two or three times a month. In our opinion, the most authentic Mexican food in Cleburne. Very delicious and reasonably priced.
Great Mexican food restaurant, I love their chicken quesadillas they are on spot and so delicious
I got a vaquero burrito. It was delicious and filling. They don’t skimp on any of the ingredients. Some places you can barely taste the sauces but this one had plenty. I ate it there and they walked around with complimentary tortilla chips.
This place is great! Their food is the best Mexican food around, closest to authentic, next to grandma's cooking. The prices are great for the amount of food you get. Definitely our favorite go to for a quick burrito.
Wow, just WOW! Not enough GREAT things I can say about this place, HOT, FRESH,DELICIOUS!!! I had Carne Asade burrito with fresh jalapeño and added beans…. LEGIT!! SALSA BAR… beware…some have a kick to them.
The vaquero burrito is 10/10 amazing. Authentic and affordable place to eat and wonderful staff as well!
I love authentic and that's the best part about this place
This place is amazing! The breakfast burritos are on point!!!
Don't let the "fast food" title fool you. The food here is freshly made and very good! I ordered at he counter and service was good. So far I've only had a couple of different breakfast burritos. A heads up, the burritos are very filling and I didn't need lunch those days. I look forward to trying some of the many different items on their menu. The value for the price is very good.
One of my favorite places to eat. Just unfortunately they've gone up on price which is understandable but the prices should at least be posted. Unfortunately this may be our last visit.
This place doesn't look like much from the outside, but the food was absolutely delicious! I ordered the chili rellenos and they were cooked perfectly! They also have a salsa bar for customers complete with several different kinds of salsa and escobeche. The prices were very affordable as well! You won't be disappointed with anything you order here.
It definitely has an awesome atmosphere you can’t find in a whole lot of other places. The food was phenomenal with a wide variety to choose from at reasonable prices. I got the California burrito and it was huge! We will be recommending Los Vaqueros to our friends and be coming back for more!
All I can say is WOW! Our experience and service was impeccable. From the moment we were greeted we felt welcome and right at home. The ambiance was amazing as well as the staff. From the host to every person we interacted with gave us friendly greetings and warm regards. It was great to have some California style Mexican food in the heart of Texas. Keep up the great work and See you soon!
The southern California Mexican food, you've been missing! Cali burritos and carne asada fries! Only place in Texas that I've found even remotely close to being back on the coast! I've become a regular!
I got the carne asada torta and it was delicious. My husband got the enchiladas plate and he thoroughly enjoyed it too!
Found this little gem on our way home. Definitely worth stopping! My husband had the steak fajita plate and I had the chili relleno burrito they were wonderful! Good price and plenty of food. We will be back!
Great service, delicious Mexican cuisine, fresh and fast! Best 2 things when it comes to a meal. And the service is alwasy wonderful, space always clean and spacious.
I Highly recommend this place! I order several times a week and it’s always finger licking good!! The food is hot, fresh and so delicious every time. The staff is super friendly. It is always very clean in there, including restrooms. The prices aren’t over the top, you get a very good portion for the price.
So I live in fort Worth , had to go deliver something in Cleburne with my sister thought we would stop and get something to eat .. my sister googled Mexican food near by and Los Vaqueros popped up! And I'm pleased to say ...I'm glad we did ! Everything on the menu looked so good and mouth watering and tasted exactly how the food looks ! I recommend Los Vaqueros if you want authentic Mexican food it was delicious and great services and very clean !
An authentic hole-in-the wall gem of a find. Fast is a misnomer because every thing is fresh. It's not fancy but try it out and you'll be pleasantly surprised.
We love this local Mexican food place. Very authentic and delicious. Prices are good! You order at the counter and get your own salsa from the salsa bar; there are no waiters. The location is a little cramped, especially whenever it is a busy time of day. I still think it's worth it!
The food is always good, true SoCal mexican street food. Their burritos are great! Great selection of salsa.
Highly recommend-- one peice of advice is that it is a smaller place and it gets busy so if you want to eat there I would try and avoid the lunch rush
This place is a hit every single time. Good food, large portions, and consistent quality. Not to mention, they have a large selection of meals. Very highly recommended
Food and service are always great. Don't miss out on breakfast food. 😋
Hands down best street tacos I've had in a vary long time. Wife had the Beef enchilada plate and she said the same about it and she grew up in tx I've only been here 8 years. Love the salsa bar love the people working vary nice and pleasant. Other customers were also vary nice. All around awsome experience and will be coming back.
Food and fresh salsas are delicious, service is fast and friendly. You can't go wrong with any carne asada menu items - burrito, street tacos, nachos, quesadillas, or the Vaquero torta
Best tacos in town, if you are in Cleburne this place is a must!
Stopped in for lunch, and had never even heard of this place! It is SO GOOD!!! It’s home cooked traditional Mexican food and it’s amazing!
I hope this restaurant is a local staple,a community gathering area, and a storm shelter - the food is incredible! The seating was spacious, comfortable temperature (even at the coldest winter for hottest summer). The staff are friendly, courteous, and quick with service.I will gladly recommend this to everyone.
You know the food is good when the first bite sends your mind straight back to a beach in Oxnard CA. That Baja shrimp burrito is where it’s at. I may have gotten a little emotional because it tastes like home.
This place is awesome! I did a to-go order, in person, and I was pleased with how fast they had the food ready. Once I opened my food at home, I was pleasantly surprised to see how big of portions they gave and the presentation of the food was great. Not to mention the value for how much food they give is awesome - great prices! I will definitely be returning and I recommend it to anyone living in Cleburne or visiting!
Wonderful food, great pricing, and amazing people! They provided food for our school, delivered everything on time, and everyone loved it. We are so thankful for their generosity and excellent service. Highly recommend!
This is truly the DFW area's best Mexican food! True California traditional Mexican flavors. Very friendly staff. Various salsa flavors at the self-serve slasa bar that are always fresh and range from mild to hot! A flavor for everyone! You won't be disappointed!
Don’t judge a book by its cover! Los Vaqueros may look unassuming from the outside, but if you pass it up, you’ll regret not trying it sooner. The place is clean and tidy inside, with all booth seating and a huge menu on the wall—tons of burrito options and a classic breakfast selection (no Migas, but that wasn’t a dealbreaker). The young man at the register was polite and efficient, and we got our order in just before the rush hit. A friendly server brought us homemade chips—hot, crispy, perfectly salted little triangles of corn tortilla goodness. The salsa bar is a dream: spicy salsas, green sauces, pickled carrots, jalapeños, and onions. We like it hot, and the salsas delivered! I had the Huevos a la Mexicana—scrambled eggs with jalapeños, tomatoes, and onions, served with rice, beans, and fresh homemade tortillas. The eggs were perfectly cooked and full of flavor. I would’ve loved fried potatoes instead of rice, but that’s on me for not asking. My husband got the carne asada burrito, which was massive (seriously, the size of my head!). He’s usually super picky, but he devoured it and kept saying, “We’re definitely coming back here for breakfast.” By the time we left, the place was packed with people picking up orders and waiting for tables. That says it all. Highly recommend! We’ll absolutely be back.
Not from this area but this girl loooooves some good Mexican food. Went with my friend and we both looooooooved the taco plate. The taco shells were thin and crispy. Everything’s home made. Not 100% sure but even the taco shells tasted home made and NOT store bought. The chips also tasted home made. They were hot fresh and crsipy. There’s nothing like some home made beans. Man they were the best. Now let’s get to the salsa bar. A lot to choose from. If you’re a sissy don’t dare touch or even smell the habanero sauce. It was super hot. Nope I didn’t try it either lol. Way too hot for me but I bet it was good. The other salsas were great. All had a little kick to them. You what great homemade tacos go try this place.
Very delicious! The salsa bar was great because we got to try various type to find exactly what we wanted. I got the Cabeza burrito and it was packed with meat and so flavorful. The Agua Fresca was great too, I got the melon and my husband got the pineapple. 10/10 we will definitely be back again and again.
I highly recommend this new local spot! Several patrons were friendly even had some offer me a taste of their food just so i can try a dish they loved! It's clean and most importantly the food was great! Tortillas tasted like my grandma's! I cant wait to get to stop by again.
Wanted to try out this place with my little family of 5. We spent about $50 total but the servings were HUGE!! We didn't finish anything beside the sopé ! 🤣 Food was amazing! Great customer service! We will definitely be back and if you haven't tried it you definitely should! Some of the best horchata and Agua de melon around! 💯🔥
I am picky about my Mexican food and this is my new favorite Mexican restaurant in Cleburne. The breakfast burritos are HUGE (the picture only shows half of one) as are all of the portions. Great enchiladas, meats are tender and very flavorful, and although the exterior of the building doesn’t advertise them well… I’m hoping that changes soon because we need more great food like this in Cleburne!
The staff was friendly and helpful. We tried it for the first time today. We didn't have to wait too long and we took it to go. It was pretty good. I'm sure we will be back. I got cheese enchiladas with queso, rice, and beans. My husband got a breakfast burrito. It is a little higher priced, but it wasn't too bad. I think I would prefer a little more salt or flavor in the beans, but I liked it overall.
Food was still super yummy! The employees were great - very friendly & helpful. Again, the green sauce is just the best!! (Sorry I can't remember it's proper name) Look forward to returning. 💃💃💃💃💃 Food was good. Fantastic green sauce. Service was great. The waitress didn't know everything but got answers fast. Would def go there again.
My father-in-law asked for two shrimp enchiladas before he ordered for my husband and his cousin. We only got one of the shrimp enchiladas, so I had to wait awhile before I could eat. However, all the food was delicious!
Los Vaqueros offers a great selection of Mexican dishes in a fast food setting. The restaurant offers dine in service and there is a good amount of seating. The food was delicious and came out really quickly. During my visit I had a carnitas torta and carnitas tacos. The tacos were very flavorful and the torta was filling. Great place for a quick meal.
The food was over all pretty good my family all agreed we'd come back if ever in town again. I have a 4 start because my fam all had minor issues with the taste of the food being a lil salty aside of that it was pretty good. The menu is also kind of overwhelming so many options but don't break your neck like we did trying to read it on the wall there's small pamphlet ones in front of the cashier.
First-time customer, I was a little concerned that there was one customer around dinner time. The young lady at the register was very friendly and welcoming. I ordered the Super Burrito with carne asada. Warm chips were brought to the table (a bit too salty for my taste, not that it stopped me from eating them) and they have a self-serve salsa bar with several choices. Upon arrival, I picked up the burrito and it easily weighed a pound, maybe a bit more. It was muy bueno and will probably carry me to lunch tomorrow. From out of town so I can't go back but suggest you go.
For a fast food restaurant we were very impressed. The young people working there were prompt to give us service and were very helpful in our menu selection. We only tried the street tacos, beef ones and they were absolutely delicious. They also have a variety of hot sauces and every one of them were very good. Some a little spicier than others. If you're looking for fast food Mexican style, this is one of the best places in Cleburne to go. The only negative we noticed is the tables are not kept well. When we arrived it was hard to pick a table that looked really clean. Of course, part of it is the paint is wearing off of them, but there were specks of lettuce and different things on each table.
Overall a great experience and easily the best Mexican food in Cleburne Texas.
First time I ordered in this place, unfortunately in the beginning my experience was not good as I wished since I ordered a quesadilla and it was floating on grease oil and all the flour tortilla was totally wet such made it taste not so pleasant by the moment of eat I hope they modify that since in quesadillas the tortilla texture should stay dry since is flour tortilla, so I drove back and explained the situation to the lady in the counter and she was so kind took the food back and gave me a totally new dish this time the taste was pretty good and it was a carne asada burrito with the tortilla warm but dry! Definitely customer service can change a bad review into a good one.
The food was decent, and the service was good decoration, not so much. Sauce was hot, hotter, and hotest. They did say they had mild, but colors were confusing to me. I'll try others in town before thinking about a return visit.
First Time and Never Again!!! We should have accepted the first warning of dirty plates stacked on top of a trash can as soon as we walked through the door. The 2nd warning was several dirty tables. In spite of these we went ahead and ordered, because of the reviews and several people saying it was good. I was highly disappointed. I waited 10 minutes to get my fajitas. I was ok with that. Where I wasn’t ok was that the person with me did not receive their order until 15 minutes after me so my fajitas to go were now lukewarm. When I told the young lady that his food did not come all she could say not very friendly was “we have a lot of orders”! I said but now my food, which both were to-go was now getting cold. When we got a chance to finally eat. I found out that they did not give me any tortillas, which I specifically asked for flour. My guacamole was watery. I have never had watery guacamole from anywhere. And my friend could not eat his street tacos because they were dry and what wasn’t was fatty. There is more, but I will leave this at, I had high hopes and I was very disappointed. I may have caught them on a bad night, but I will not be back! Ps I have several pictures to show what our food looks like, but it won’t let me share them.
Out of towner. I only ate here because of the reviews. The only way I’ll return is for the Pineapple Aquas Frescas. Maybe I order the wrong thing. I ordered chicken fajitas because I didn’t think I could go wrong with a basic plate. Frankly, I was not impressed at all. The chicken had a twang to it and I got a gristle every other bite. The onions, bell pepper & tomato didn’t taste fresh at all. If it were not for the beans, rice & tortillas, I would have starved to death because I was starving. The salsas were not my bag. I will say the service was very friendly, no complaints there. It just wasn’t a pleasant dining experience for me and I left with a disappointed belly. 😕
These workers stay in their vehicles till 7:00 if theyre here. Theyre Never ready to serve or take orders at 7. Bad business practice. Open at their convenience with no regard to customers. 6am opening is better for cleburne. Im always at other restaurants to eat and drink coffee at 6. This place losing business due to lack of caring of customers There are several of us that meet at 6 to eat bfast. So sad owner dont give a crap about how business is operated.
This was mine and my boyfriend's go-to taco spot but I don't think we'll be going back after tonight. He went to go and pick up tacos, we only wanted 12, the woman working insisted we ordered 24 and wouldn't back down. When he finally got the number correct and got the tacos home every single taco had guacamole on them. We didn't order guacamole, I don't even LIKE guacamole. Ended up paying almost 40 dollars for half of it to go in the trash. Now I have to go out again and get food for us. I don't know if they hired someone new or what but we will not being going back for a long time, if ever.
Used to love this place. Came in on sunday morning, soda machines tasted like no carbonation. I ordered one cup of menudo TO-GO and wait 35MINUTES. There was only two gentlemen ahead of me, waiting for Pre-made soup for almost 40 minutes is ridiculous.
I got the enchilada and Toastada and I was the most nastiest thing I've ever had to eat. I didnt even get to eat it, took 2 bites and threw it in the trash. They put the Toastada on top of the Enchilada. I got home and it was just a soggy mess. I called to tell them about it, he asked me my name for next time i come in, so i asked his name he said what do you need my name for? I said "I would like to know who I'm talking to and for when I come in to ask for. Now what am I gonna eat? I'm hungry...$22.46, down the drain.
This place is ridiculous they had 5 customers in there store and they told me it would be a 20-25 minute wait for a burrito and some rice
Ordered a #1 and was given a very small enchilada and a half of a chili relleno. The girl at register says it comes that way but menu does NOT say half of a chili relleno. And was charged $3.50 for drink. Very small proportion and the food made me sick; will definitely NOT be back.
My order was wrong asked for it plain and it had onions, the beans and rice had were bland. The tortilla tasted like cheap store bought tortillas, was undercooked tasted sweet and extremely greasy I could barely finish half before It ended up in the trash and find another restaurant. Salsa had no flavor. Extremely dissatisfied with my meal. Definitely will not be coming back for “authentic” meals.
