This restaurant proved to be an unexpected surprise after we arrived in town to find the Couny Court offices were closed for lunch. Walked a short way to this restaurant and were quickly greeted a we entered. Terri, our waitress, was super sweet and helpful in taking our food order. With a under one year old baby, time is precious. The food came out hot and was very delicious. Catfish Dinner and Mesquite Shrimp Plates were amazing. If ever here again, we will stop here.

Ok, so last night I went in for dinner. I forgot it was Saturday and every Friday and Saturday they have a fish fry and I don't like fish or seafood but if you do it's the place to be . I go in for the bad ass ribeye that the cook there certainly knows how to cook. Fantastic as always, sorry I didn't take a picture, however. It was about 8:30 at night and I didn't realize that they close kind of early. So I was finishing up my meal when a gentleman walked in and wanted to eat. Staff told the man that they had already closed for the evening and as the gentleman headed for the door, the staff member stopped and told him they would fix him up with a plate to go. They absolutely did not have to do that but they did and that restored my faith in humanity. The look on the guys face was priceless but that is how the world used to be and is supposed to be like. If you haven't been to this place, I strongly suggest you try it if you want great food at an affordable price and fantastic service. Can't recommend this place enough. Thank you and I had a wonderful time at your establishment.

Southern charm, best diner in the county for sure! Love the chicken fried steak and chicken fried chicken... the gravy is good, mashed potatoes ✅️. The fried green tomatoes are good. The grilled chicken was juicy, the okra is good. All you can eat catfish is really worth it. Grilled vegetables good! Salad bar is a solid option! Sweet tea really good!

Great find, hidden gem! Family oriented, home cooking! Kimberly our waitress was friendly and attentive. The management walked around checking on folks. Lots of regulars, so you know it's consistently good. They also make + sell home-made pies. Yum!

We were there for Sunday breakfast. To beat the rush get in before 9 AM. This place gets crowded because it's that good. The wife and I had the #3 & #4 plates (eggs, buscuits & gravy & bacon) for $6.99 each. Prices are cheap compared to the portion size. Friendly, attentive staff, great prices, big portions and good food. What more can you ask? 5 out of 5.

Great food and great service! The place was busy on a Friday evening, but was only a few minutes to get a seat. Small parking lot that was full so had to park a bit away. Salad bar had lots of options for topping the salad, only improvement would be some kind of protein like bacon bits or ham; there was potato salad, pasta salad, and corn salad too.

As usual, this place does not disappoint! We've not had one thing since we first started visiting here. Catfish was crispy and flaky, 3 sides were fresh and very good. The Chicken fried chicken was crispy and very flavorful. I'm not a heavy person, but this was very good! The waitstaff is consistently friendly and very attentive. We We will continue to visit R&K everything we are in Cleburne! Highly recommend!

This really was the ideal for what to expect at a breakfast place. I had pancakes scrambled eggs and bacon. My son had their biscuits and gravy with eggs and bacon. Everything was perfectly cooked. The gravy tasted great (I grabbed a bite). It was busy but wasn't noisy. Service was a little too good but that's not a bad thing, they just checked on us a lot. It was a clean pleasant place and best of all the food tasted good.

This was my first time at R&K and I was not let down! We came in with a party of 10 on a Saturday morning and the place was packed! We only had to wait like 5 minutes and the got us sat down! The service was the best and the food was AWESOME! This is the best breakfast in Cleburne by far! I will be back!

Overall, it was a good experience. Popular place, not enough parking. We enjoyed our meals except for the biscuits. The bottoms were burnt, and the biscuits were dry. Waitress was attentive and funny.

The food was great, the plate given for the salad bar is tiny and counts for 2 sides. No complaints with the wait staff but the check out process seemed very unorganized. We will definitely go back.

I have been here many times and had great food and service. This day I ordered a lunch specials of fried catfish. It was cold as though it had been cooked awhile ago. Every place has bad days. Unfortunately this was one. I still give good 5 stars because it really is great here. I only write this to suggest not cooking to much at once and this way you get cold food. God Bless.

This was a great restaurant experience. The staff was super friendly and made sure to keep refills coming and checked in often to make sure you were taken care of. I had the catfish dinner, and the fish and mac & cheese were amazing. Get there early because the parking lot does feel up but there is nearby city parking that is a short walk to.

1st) they might need a sign that says " please seat yourself " soo many came in stood and finally someone would shout, " you can sit any where you like " . 2) the staff was very friendly, always checked on us, and very playful, you can tell they love working there and being around each other. 3) Food was very good, large portions for such a good price, NO pressure of buying anything else. We really enjoyed our food and service 😊. I would definitely recommend to anyone coming in and looking for that homestyle cooking..

We have not ate at the Cleburne location in many years and we won't be returning for many years! My husband, myself and our daughter had the hamburger steak.... The meat looked like it had been cooked an hour earlier bc it was cold and dry and so were the baked potatoes... Our son in law had the catfish and said it was just ok .. just so you know the R&K Cafe's in both Weatherford and Hillsboro puts this one to shame
