Iconic Cleveland restaurant. Tucked away on Clevelands near east side on Fulton in a residential area. Harkens back to the old days. Great food and service.

Excellent Northern Italian cusine! The veal medallions were outstanding and you must finish your meal with a creme brulet, freshly made by Bobbie. Next time in Cleveland, I'll be back!

Amazing👍 I grew up behind Johnny's bar 38 years ago and I've always wanted to go in As an adult so we went back to my neighborhood and Brian and I spent our Easter there and it was absolutely lovely the place is not changed a bit since I used to go in and Uncle Johnny used to give us Lemon Ice's 😁 The food was amazing just like I thought it would be 👍

They pour their drinks like they love you♡ Great food, outside patio, is fabulous the crouper was amazing 👏

Don’t let the low-key outside appearance fool you, this place is fantastic. Kind of a small exclusive environment. Great service and very good food.

We used open table for early reservations arrived on time and we’re seated immediately by the window the host and hostess both greeted us with a smile we just sat down to order our food I will edit the review in a little bit to let you know how the food was so far our servers and hostesses are fantastic

I loved the old school throwback feel of Johnny's. The place is beautiful, everyone was very friendly and welcoming, and the food and drinks are top notch.

Johnny's is a long standing jewel in Cleveland. The food and service is exceptional!

Food is very good. We love the mozzarella appetizers, the potato-crusted grouper is outstanding and came with what my husband called " the best scalloped potatoes I've ever had in my life." Our friend always orders ALL the desserts! The tiramisu, carrot cake, chocolate cake, bananas foster and cheesecakes are delicious! It's a dark, cozy, iconic place to go. Shout out to Jose who is always the nicest and so accommodating!

I love this restaurant so much. Will is the best ❤️ Everything I've ordered has been delicious (especially the softshell crab, the steak specials, and the stuffed calamari), the dirty martinis are amazing, & the wine list is great. Love the old school atmosphere too.

We came for our anniversary and the whole experience was wonderful from the moment we walked in. The owner helped us pick out a great wine that we both loved, despite the two of us giving him conflicting preferences. Our server, cool Natalie, was amazing. Every recommendation she made was perfect, she knew the menu inside and out. The food flavor and portions were delcious from appetizer to dessert. The valet and the doorman were also fun and courteous. Well worth the drive from Columbus. We will definitely be back

Have been going to Johnny's for over 40 years and as always is topof my list when dining out. Great menu and great service. White tablecloth restaurant without the despicable butcher so many restaurants use now. First class restaurant all the way around

What an awesome bar restaurant. Johnny's is old school Italian with the businessman sitting at the bar for lunch and others dining in the back. Beautiful paneling great mood lighting generous seating. The menu was Italian. And many delightful choices to choose from. I had the pasta with the gorgonzola cream sauce which was to die for. And it was a generous serving so I was able to take some home my companions also enjoyed their meals. One had the shrimp and scalloped pasta and the other guest had a fish dish. Loved the atmosphere loved the server Glen. Meal started with a wonderful salad and we were too full for dessert. Great wine list as well this is such a cool place to go it's great for a family get together as well as a lunch for ladies or business at the bar. This is a must-go

Okay, I never been here before last night. This place is unbelievable. Our server was John and the greeter I think was Jose. Top notch service, and the food....OMG. How great. I love Little Italy and am pretty old and have eaten everywhere, but this place is the best. Basically you can point at anything on the menu and you are going to be beyond happy. Thank you Tiffany for making me go there. One of the best eating and fun experiences I have had.

Practically the perfect restaurant. Soft 70s rock in the background, eating the most delicious food that money can buy (especially if one of the house sides is the potatoes)! Staff were extremely polite and accommodating. Very pricey but the flavor is out of this world.

Had a wonderful first experience at Jonny’s Bar on Fulton. Immediately upon entering you see the Art Deco history of the bar. The restaurant proudly displays its history through vintage fixtures and artwork. We were escorted to a table in the side room by friendly staff - service overall was attentive and perfectly timed such that we didn’t feel rushed. The menu was extensive as well - we had the stuffed calamari for an appetizer (delicious and unique!) and the grouper and beef tenderloin wrapped in puff pastry with lobster for entrees. We were pleasantly surprised to find all entrees came with a salad, potatoes and green beans, as well as warm bread for the table. Portions were large and perfectly prepared. While we didn’t have room for dessert, we saw some very impressive (large) pieces of cake being served. (Next time!). Overall, we had a lovely experience and will be back!

Lovely resturant with an at home feel! Highly recommend sitting in the back patio. Food is always lovely. Really enjoyed the soft shell crab & escargot.

Wow. Since the first time I walked through the door here I knew I was home. From the dark wood to the welcoming host/owner Bo, this place has got it all. The wine list is impressive and reasonably priced. The food is out of this world. I had the grilled long bone veal chop and I have had many dreams about it since. The bartender really knows what he's doing as my old fashioned was the best I have ever had. Service was impeccable and impressive. The appetizers and pasta course were served French style with ease and elegance which is a very nice old school touch. I could go on but let me just say that this is somewhere you have got to try at least once, you will not be disappointed.

My husband and I were blown away. The food was spectacular, we shared the smoked trout appetizer, I had the rib eye special and my husband had a cold smoke filet. Everything was cooked perfectly. But the most amazing part was the patio. It is so beautiful, spacious and comfortable. The live music was such a nice touch. We enjoyed everything. We are so happy that we chose Johnny’s to celebrate our 20 year wedding anniversary.

My wife and I had a wonderful meal here. Both of our pasta dishes were 5 star. I hadn’t seen Bo, the owner, in 46 years and he recognized me getting out of my car. I wanted to surprise him instead he came walking over to our table as soon as we sat down. What a great place you’ve got here Bo. Here’s to another 50 years! Bravo, Che Che

There is no question that Johnny's is BY FAR THE BEST restaurant in Cleveland. Actually, probably one of the best in the country. I have traveled all over and I have yet to find a better veal chop. Excellent service, excellent food, excellent atmosphere. My all time #1 favorite. This place does not disappoint.

We only had drinks, because we had already eaten! Service was great! Atmosphere was very nice! Martini was delicious!

Lives up to fine dining expectation. Service exceptional! Example: before even entering the restaurant, wife is trying to turn left onto the side street, and there's a bit of a traffic jam; not sure we're going to be able to turn- when out walks the valet and *stops oncoming traffic* so we can turn. Waitress very knowledgeable. Good cocktails, delicious food.

Visited Johnny's for our anniversary. Seated outside in the nice outside patio by the owner who was very personable. We ordered the salmon special and the charred filet -- outstanding! The wait staff was attentive even though the place was busy. Pace of service was good. The side portions were rather small but excellent. Do not pass up the tiramisu- very light and a great ending to a memorable night out!

Still the best thing I ever ate: Grilled veal chop with Demi Glacé and Foi Gras. I believe it was a special of the night. It’s been a dozen or so years ago.

Delicious food and excellent service. Loved the calamari appetizer, which was amazing. Lovely vibe and atmosphere as well. Highly recommended!

Been to Cleveland twice, had to go back to Johnny's. WOW! Grouper is amazing. Every meal was outstanding along with service. Must Go!

​We headed to Johnny’s on Fulton for a guys' night recently, and it’s definitely the kind of place that knows how to host a group. The atmosphere has that classic, old-school feel that makes you want to settle in and stay a while. ​The service was the absolute highlight of the night. Our waitress was fantastic—she caught onto our group’s dynamic immediately and started giving us a hard time right back. She was hilarious, quick with a comeback, and really kept the energy high at the table. It’s not often you get a server who can join in on the banter while still staying on top of everything, and she made the experience a lot more memorable. ​As for the food, I went with the Ribeye. It was a decent cut and cooked how I asked, though I’d say it was okay compared to some of the other legendary dishes Johnny’s is known for. It got the job done for a steak dinner, but it didn't quite steal the show compared to the veal, filet, or pasta that others in my party ordered. ​Overall, it was a solid night out. You go to Johnny’s for the tradition and the atmosphere, and in our case, the great service. If you’re looking for a spot with personality and quality Italian food, this is it.

First timers, and it didn't disappoint!! We came at the right time for me (nobody really there)! The food was on point, and so was the service!!! We will definitely be back!! Thank you for a good dining experience!

Food was delicious. The service as great. I can't give five stars because the drinks were not good. Ordered an old fashioned and they put seltzer in it. Yuck! That is not the way it's served commonly. I wish they would have asked. I couldn't even drink it.

I was admittedly unhappy they advertised a Veal Parm sandwich and said that was actually Chicken. I'm out of my league as well here: $24 for my lunch to go, was steep. This may be better suited for a rare extravagant dinner for me, personally.

Check your bill Johnny's over charges! The filet was good but the shrimp was under cooked. We have been going to Johnny's for the atmosphere but not at the cost of being over charged. After many years of patronizing Johnny's on Fulton we will not be going back.

Classic old school bar/restaurant. It’s got a really cool art deco bar and a nest vibe, it’s known for veal dishes. Parking is a bit wonky, and the neighborhood is a little sketch, but they have valet. Would recommend, especially if you like veal. Drinks were nice and strong too.

Extremely loud, we couldn't talk during dinner at all, very expensive for the quality of food. The place is cute, based on the noise and over priced food, we won't be back

Went to Johnny’s for our 38th anniversary celebration. Requested patio, and it was lovely. However, the dining experience was totally disappointing. The restaurant was obviously understaffed and everyone on the patio was waiting and complaining. The waiter didn’t handle it well. He just said he was doing the best he could but it was so busy he couldn’t get drinks at the bar, etc. Dinner for 2 took 3 hours. No apology from staff . Very disappointing. Maybe an off night but I wouldn’t rush back. After posting this, the owner called me the next day to apologize. She wanted me to give them another try and sent us a generous gift certificate. Now that’s excellent customer service. Looking forward to going again.

Came in and had a so-so meal. Our waitress, Ashley, was knowledgeable but somehow seemed sort of off?? Her appearance was not what we would have expected for a place like this. She looked like she hadn't showered and unkempt (maybe from a bender??) We won't be back.

Staff was great. Food was not very good and portions very small. $33 for dry sauce, slightly undercooked pasta, six shrimps. Not for me. Hope everyone else has better experience.

I came in at 9 they were open until 10 this led me they were closed because I was black it was all white ppl in the restaurant so my color isn’t welcomed all I wanted was a to go order
