Blizzards are amazing here. Always thick. Was on the hottest days so far this year, drive thru and inside was busy but it didn't feel like I waited long at all. Service was great. Clean. I've been going here for a bit now,since it's the only one in town basically. The other one is in the mall and has mall hours.

We went through drive through around 10:30pm. The gentlemen working was super sweet, very well mannered and treated us as customers well!

I bought an Oreo blizzard cake for my husband’s birthday from there and it was amazing! Actually, the whole experience was great. I had my kids with me and the cashier was so patient with them. He answered their questions and helped them choose. Service was fast and honestly just a great fun place to take your family.

It was a busy busy day on May 18. The drive thru had a huge line up of cars while consumers also lined up for in store purchase. The workers were so busy yet the service was amazing. Friendly customer service and delicious blizzards.

Clean & pretty environment. Went in during Valentines Day and watched the workers go above and beyond to ensure every customer got the holiday treats. Salutations fellow Googlers! I ordered two Blizzards from this fine location, do not worry they were both small sizes lol. I have not had a Blizzard in years or possibly ever :( I will let the best of 90s TV explain my thoughts on what I ordered, said by Moe the Bartender from The Simpsons "It's like there's a party in my mouth and everyone's invited!" I will definitely be returning to this DQ location the next time I'm in the area. The only criticism I have would be the washroom needed to be cleaned better, other than that, Great job!

Bought two pumpkin blizzards Tues. October 15th. It was open until 11 pm. The person working the drive thru was very hospitable. I have never before had such a delightful Blizzard. Was absolutely 💯. Would make the drive from Tecumseh, was a great overall experience.

I stopped by the Dairy Queen on Huron Church Road and had a really good experience. The place is well organized and very clean, which makes it feel welcoming as soon as you walk in. Variety of Ice-cream cakes were in stock. Different icing colors, writing options. Prices are $10 cheaper then baked cake of same size in most bakeries. It has exceeded my expectations today, owner/manager has personally provided good suggestions for cake to choose, details, writing options and making sure prompt service all the way to payment. Definitely this experience has make it my preferred location for DQ. Neat and clean facility, ample parking, outdoor seating and convenient location.

Absolutely phenomenal service with creating our daughter's birthday cake! Very prompt and courteous service and went above and beyond with checking with us if the custom picture we wanted on the cake looked perfect before creating it. Dairy Queen is one of my absolute favorite places to get ice cream or ice cream type treats ie: cupcakes, cakes, dily bars etc. Usually stick with Blizzards tho. Got the strawberry cheesecake blizzard today and it was delicious. Girlfriend got Cotton candy blizzard and hers was also delicious. If you like ice cream at all, then I highly highly recommend dairy queen. There use to be one at Devonshire mall...much more convenient..but now that's gone. Won't be making many trips out to Huron church just for ice cream tho.

Every time I go, I get the chocolate extreme Blizzard. Sometimes it's not very good because they don't mix it well enough. Only a few times it's been perfect. Depends on who's working. Kinda wish it was a bit more consistent.

The ice cream is great and the quality is there. The service inside is not fast as the drive-through but that's normal. There is a giant garbage receptacle barricade; so your are awkwardly mushed in a small area with multiple guests while you wait. (I have been back several times recently and it looks like they are renovating :) ). I noticed that you get to watch some of the icecream preparations now which is a real treat :D All that said, I love DQ and I like it there:) 4 ⭐

Great service. I bought a last minute birthday cake and I asked if I could do anything to make the cake look more festive. They have a variety of nice candles and they have prepackaged decorations. The gentleman asked the manager who was really helpful. Almost aways open whenever you need a treat.

Dairy Queen, what can you say. It's one of the other oldest fast food chains in North America. Giving reviews during this time of the pandemic, is difficult due to the added stress that were all feeling. But these guys nailed it for sure. Hot food great crispy fries, old school way of making food fast and delish! Great service friendly staff. They were quick, it was an all-around great service and meal.

The issue with the location is that it appears to be a location prone to loiterers as the bathrooms require staff assistance to open and there is no public wifi. Ice cream is good, but melts quick so you gotta be quicker. The burgers/fries are ehn nothin to special. Definitely just like it as an ocassional dessert or ice cream cake type place.

I enjoy the quality of the food that you can get here. The burgers are always great and I love their mix and match deals. I would've given a 5 star review but the customer service could be improved. I ordered my favorite drink (mocha moolatte) and it was handed over plain. (Without whipped topping or chocolate sauce) I asked if I could get the toppings like it's supposed to come with and the cashier said okay, and came back with just the whipped cream on it. I didnt want to hassle them again and ask for the chocolate sauce so I just left. Other than that, it tasted great! I will always be back, I love dairy queen.

Surprisingly high prices for only a little ice cream. Drive through was prioritized over the in store customers, so there was a fairly long wait. Once we were served, how it took 3 minutes to pull a lever to dispense some ice cream and pour some fudge on top is beyond me.

Went and got a cake for a surprise gender reveal and when I picked it up the grammar on the cake was hard to believe. My friend was very upset when she received the cake. Hopefully next time we will get someone who can correctly spell “baby”

I wish I had known in advance to buy another slab of cake, next time your store should notify the customer.

Ordered 4 small Blizzards, took about 10 minutes to make, granted the are sort of busy but they were serving people behind us in line. After I got mine I couldn't see a single piece of anything in it. They remade it, which was good, but two of the other three had nothing in them either.

Food was hot, but our burgers were extremely dry. I also bought a box of onion rings for a extra 2 dollars and we counted them and the regular size and I got 4 extra rings for 2 dollars. I Kinda feel ripped off. Also when we ordered off of skip the dishes awhile ago they completely missed packing half our order.

Here it is Saturday night and and I just crossed back into ontario (I'm a truck driver), and I want an ice cream for the rd so I stopped here at 10pm, they close at 11pm. Lobby doors were locked and drive thru open so I walk to the drive thru window to only be refuse service because I'm suppose to be in the drive thru with a vehicle says the night manager. I informed her that im a trucker and can't get my 18 wheeler though the drive thru and she still refused me. Just a little reminder young lady, that if it wasn't for us truck drivers you wouldn't have a job! Sometimes you might want to step out of your bubble and do the right thing. I really like Dairy Queen, however, with new ownership and lack of diversity within the location. I felt disrespected by one of the employees, I utilized the BOGO Blizzard on my phone app. After about to leave I completed the survey on my receipt and placed good reviews, and to be able to get my Free Dilly Bar once completing the survey. As I completed the survey one of the employees stated that we cannot combine BOGO with the survey free Dilly Bar at this location. I felt really hurt and informed the employee, there is no notice on your windows about this, as well as I completed already the survey and this was not stated prior. Overall, Not feeling the vibes to go back. I am stating my true experience! I wish management would review their policy and greeting guests properly especially when people take the time to fill surveys. Mind you the employee snatched the Dilly Bar out of my hand (another employee who gave me the dilly bar) to confirm with their supervisor on the phone and then gave it back after I voiced my concerns. Not acceptable in my opinion.

I have been here quite often, and have never had a bad experience until now. We saw the viral crunching cookie parfait and decided to try it out. Upon receiving our order, I was disappointed with what was given. It seemed like this location skimped out on the Oreo chunks and the cookie dip. Compared to other crunching cookie parfaits seen online (should be 3 layers of dip, Oreo crumbs, and soft serve; 1 on the bottom, middle, & top), ours only had 2 layers. Additionally, there was barely any Oreo crumbs given in our parfait. The total for this was roughly $8-9 which I found to be steep for what was provided. The service was nice as usual, but overall I don’t think I’ll be back if they continue to skimp out on ingredients. Here is a photo of what I have received vs. how it is supposed to have been made according to their menu online (you can even go online and search up what others received).

Food was absolutely nasty and dry. I called to complain about my food and get called a liar. I also got hung up on and got told that I don’t know what I’m talking about. One manager told me they would replace my meal when I came back then I received a call from someone I could barely understand telling me that I should’ve brought my food back right away regardless of my doctors appointment bringing the food back was more important.. Absolutely disgusted with this. Here’s proof since I’m such a liar. Never will I ever return.

This is the third time I've go throught the 30minute line and paid a fortune for my meal and recieved absolutely nothing like what I ordered. Firstly you order the the 6 price chicken get charged for the 6peice chicken but only receive 4 prices. They almost never get the blizzards right either. They constantly forget the the same stuff.

First time I was given someone else’s order, today my fries were missing. When spending over $20 dollars for a single meal, getting the order right should be a consideration. We ordered our food from skip the dishes it cost $180 for 10 ppl when it arrived we were short a ton of stuff 3 blizzards, 3 burgers , 2 dilly bars, 3 drinks so I thought I would call and see about picking up the order and no one will answer the phone. Why is there no accountability for sending orders out and If there was another bag at the store why didn't they call skip to tell them and how can you run a business without answering the phone I tried calling five times The food was cold and one Pepsi was only filled half full?? The onion rings were not filled up I would suggest you stay away from this location.

I'm not one to complain but the staff this afternoon was in lala land. I had ordered 5 combos and 5 desserts. They gave me 4 desserts, I had to remind them I had five. They gave me 4 drinks, I had to remind them I had 5 drinks and when my bag of food was given, I asked if it was all in there, please check. She looked in the bag and my order and said yes it is..... Well no it wasn't, sure enough, my meal was the one missing. After spending $90 this is what I get? This isn't the first time either.

Worst customer service attitude!!!!!!! I would vote no stars if it was possible! I walked in with 5 kids (the youngest being 5 years old) and 3 adults. Our children sat at a table and we were not able to sit with them because there was no room. We wanted to sit on the table next to them but the staff did not allow it! He told us to leave because we were causing “trouble” for telling them know that currently in Ontario there is no capacity limit! They need to learn the current laws in Ontario and get trained to speak to customers! Never coming back again!!!!!!!

This is not a DQ from the 2010s, it is a DQ from the 2020s, with the entire staff being outsourced. Unsurprisingly, the quality has significantly dropped as a result. For example, in cleanliness. The staff prepare ice cream and other food without any gloves. I watched one individual walk by a garbage bin filled with garbage, hit his hand on the garbage before proceeding to make an ice cream and give it to a customer, all without washing his hands. I later saw a staff member pick up a cup that had been rolling on the ground before once again preparing food without gloves and without washing their hands. Now, this filthiness is concerning enough and should give any customer pause. However, what prompted me to write this review was the subpar quality of the Blizzard. What I was given was not a Blizzard. First, it lacked the heft of a Blizzard, instead tasting and feeling more like a Chocolate soft serve from Costco, but 3x more expensive. Moreover, to save money they noticeably skipped on toppings. If a customer orders a Chocolate Brownie Extreme Blizzard, they expect to have Brownies and chocolates in it. Instead I was given what was functionally, a Chocolate soft serve. It was so bad, that I ended up having to throw it out 2/3 of the way through. Which is really saying something in Today's economy. In sum, I thought DQ was safe from the spreading decline of the Canadian fast-food industry, but I was wrong. Avoid.

Truly the worst customer service I’ve ever experienced. Placed an order on the app using the blizzard promo. Order was confirmed and I drove to the location to pick it up. Once I got there the manager refused to fill the order as they were “all out of mini cups” and stated it wasn’t their problem to fulfill this order. The only option he gave me was to be refunded or pay an additional $6 for 2 smalls instead of the buy one get for $1 which was NOT the promotion being offered. There was ZERO customer service / resolution to this issue that should not be a customer issue. I had already placed the order, paid for it, and it was confirmed on the app but again once I showed up to pick up my order the manger was disrespectful and talking down to my partner and I. When asking for a resolution he stated “no buddy I can’t do anything about this I told you I’m out of cups you can go ahead and cancel your order”. This was the manger at the front giving us a hard time and ultimately cancelled our order and told us he was not going to do anything for us. Very disrespectful and no customer service whatsoever. When we stated that this wasted our time coming all the way here he said “ya buddy I am wasting my time talking to you too”. Very disappointing, safe to say we will not be returning.

Placed an order at the drive through No one told me that they're ice machine has been broken for 2 days and when I got my pop, it was hot, not warm hot. The burgers had very little toppings which made it hard to swallow,I couldn't even gag back the hot coke I was given. When I called to talk to the manager he did not care, told me the ice machine has been broken for 2 days nothing they can do about it. My entire order was wrong. I drove 11 km to the location only to have the entire order wrong. I waited 15 minutes at the side also. This is unacceptable. I am a customer that visits many times a week and this is not okay. The 4 burgers were all wrong , the chicken strips was wrong and I didn't get my drinks when I came home I realized I didn't have the drinks. This is not okay. If I spend my money willingly typically my order is above $70 for my family and for the people to not care about making the order right this is unacceptable. I will not being going back as this has been enough wrong orders in the last few months that simply ruins the entire experience of DQ.

So today at around 8pm I was at this branch to pick up my online order. Waited almost 7-8 minutes while no one was at the order station. Later found 2 brown guy(don’t wanna sound like racist as I myself is also brown in Color) was arguing about something in between themselves. When asked them what’s the status of my order they replied I could go ahead and cancel the order as they are busy and can’t make my order. While ask the tentative wait time the brown guy told on my face that they won’t make my online order and I can cancel the order by myself. Not sure how these guys can serve at the front line when they are simply “MANNERLESS” It also states how bad the requirement process of DQ. Wouldn’t be at any branch from today as already told my friends and family about this. There are thousands of food chain in the country and this is the worst of everything. Not sure how these guys have the power to say that they can’t make a customer’a order. Disgusting experience as a customer.

Have to update the review here, staff member messed up my order and gave the wrong sizes on the blizzard. Blizzard was half melting on delivery already and very sloppy. She didn’t even do the blizzard flip to prove they’re good condition because this crap would have fell out of the cup. No tray given to carry three blizzards and no napkins at all. August 17th at 11:00 AM. Garbage service.

Absolute terrible experience today. Went into purchase a cake for my daughter’s birthday. Price clearly stated $33.99 but when we got to the register, it came up at $37.99 and I informed the man it was marked $33.99 and he told me “she” marked it wrong. I said that is fine but you should be charging me the marked price. Nope, it is wrong he advised and started laughing at me. I was advised he was the owner and doesn’t care about the customers and just does what he wants. I was not happy about my experience and told him so. I also stated I would never be back to this store as that is poor customer service. He just laughed again and said “ok”. Truly disappointing, especially as the owner of the store!

PLEASE AVOID THIS PLACE. I ordered today, and the cashier was incredibly rude. He rushed me through my order, made a mistake, and then told me to return the unsanitary food. When processing the refund, he gave me coins instead of returning it to my original payment method — which is unacceptable. This kind of service shouldn’t even be legal. Absolutely disappointing.

Dairy Queen has always been my go-to spot for ice cream, and I’ve enjoyed countless visits over the years. But on my most recent trip, I was extremely disappointed. I found a thick, long hair in my ice cream, which was not only off-putting but completely ruined the treat. I had to throw the whole thing out, and honestly, I felt sick to my stomach. Cleanliness and food safety should be a top priority, especially at a place that serves so many families and kids. I hope this was a one-off incident, but it really shook my trust in a place I’ve loved for so long.

2 $12 Chocolate dipped cones that weren't even dipped properly. Asked the guy to redip them and he made a stink. Ever since it's gone on new management and the new employees they've hired. This place is a 0 out of 5.

How can you not have ice cream. Pulled up to the drive thru and was told the ice cream machine was not working to come back later and hopefully it would be. Ive never seen a dairy queen with less than 2 machines. No good

Normally get a blizzard and basket of fries and normally very good. Last time we went ever since new workers hired they forgot to give us our blizzard and fries, then when asked about it they had hidden the blizzard in the freezer and gave us a freezer blizzard instead of fresh despite us waiting at the front the entire time for it. Then forgot that we ordered fries and went and made them, then gave us a large fries instead of the basket we ordered along with our freezer blizzard. Terrible service and quality with these new workers. Today July 4, 2025 at approximately 9pm the workers (besides the female worker who was great) were just as bad and we are fed up with the terrible service lately at this exact location 1818 Huron Church Road, Windsor, Ontario. Today we ordered a blizzard which was made very quickly and well by the female worker and a basket of fries that again took a long time. I watched them pour the fries in the basket giggling with another co-worker who I assumed said to not put all the fries in as they only poured half the amount they usually put in the basket. It is normally filled to the line inside the basket but today it wasn't even filled halfway and they had the remainder of the fries in the back for probably themselves. The basket of fries is supposed to be 9oz/0.56pounds/half pound of fries and this was half the amount we have received any other time coming here. This is an unacceptable level of customer service and blatant disrespect to customers who can literally see these workers doing this and think they can just lie after and say it's the right amount. Attached is a picture of the amount of fries given to us and it is ridiculous.

HORRIBLE experience!!! I ordered 2 chocolate extreme brownie and one of them was off flavour, no brownie extreme at all. I had this experience two times so i called dairy queen , and they were so rude. I did not ask for an refund, just wanted to express my disappointment but the response was not at all satisfactory and the person on call was did not have sense on how to communicate and his response was very rude. I understand flavour was less but there were no brownie pieces at all contrary to the name of the blizzard. I have attached a picture for reference.

I came here yesterday for the 85cent mini blizzard promo only to be told they won’t honor it because they’re “out of mini cups”. The app clearly stated that I could go to this location to redeem it, so I asked if they could put the correct amount of ice cream in a small blizzard cup instead. The cashier was completely unwilling to do this and refused to cooperate with us in any way. He said we would have to pay for a small blizzard and wouldn’t get any kind of discount. I would not recommend this location because they don’t honor their own promotions and customer service doesn’t seem to matter. Stay away!
