Great food
Love the food here! Tasty, Fresh and Delcious! Always super friendly and attentive service. Started with Hot & Sour Soup and Potstickers. Entrees were Assorted Chow Main and Hunan Special! A good go-to for Chinese food.

Love the food , go for the lunch special you can't go wrong. Fabulous food
Three things I go to Mann’s Chinese for: The great week day bartender who’s name is Nick aka Cool Breeze, cheap drinks, and the hot and sour soup.
Food is very good, service is excellent, staff is friendly!
Delicious, great service and their house hot sauce is fire!
Went here all the time while growing up. Consistently good food and friendly service.
Great food, good prices and a really friendly staff.
Great food. Love the pineapple chicken and the sizzling rice soup.
Great food, good service reasonable price
Oh gosh there food are hecka good and the service is amazing.
Great food, bar and staff. Been going there for many years!
I love the food if you want some thing delicious come here
Delicious teriyaki chicken, green beans with beef and bbq pork fried rice
Love it, good clean food at a decent price
I was one of the first customers when they opened in the 90's. Best Chinese food in Concord.
Fabulous! Food, service, drinks, margaritas are off the hook!! Lovely people, always friendly!!!
Best Chinese- period! I could eat here 7 Ryan per week. The salt and pepper fish is amazing. And the lunch special is beyond affordable!
Have been going here for over 20 years. Our favorite Chinese food. We measure every other restaurant by comparison to Mann’s excellent food.
Great lunch special. Great options to choose from usually take your orders when they seat you. Chicken egg corn soup is the best
Owner and staff are great! Our family loves their chicken lo mein, house special egg foo yung, beef teriyaki sticks, etc. Excellent prices as well!
Delicious food! Comfortable setting. Really nice people. Looking forward to our next visit.
Mann’s is just delicious! I’m a super picky eater and there sizzling rice soup always hits the spot !
First time trying them out and I love the almond chicken and shrimp fried rice. The ladies who served me are very friendly.
All Chinese restaurants are not the same. Dine in or take out this place is the best consistently. Try the Honey Walnut Shrimp. Yum!
Reliably delicious. We always order chicken chow mein and beef chow fun and we love it!
We favor the Wor Wonton Soup. It's a complete meal. They also deliver with a minimum purchase and during certain hours.
Very nice, clean neighborhood restaurant, large portions and good prices. Friendly staff.
Always Yummy, great customer service and always special making to my liking all you have to do is ask thank you Mann's
Food is very good and tasty, restaurant is clean and staff is always very friendly. Very good pruces for the quality of food served
Very reasonable prices for the lunch menu; everything is always fresh and hot. Try the corn soup, it comes with the lunch.
Always good food and friendly service. Make you feel like part of the family.
I can remember it like it was yesterday. I walked in the front door, it was 5 minutes before the lunch deal was ending. The most charismatic host met me at the door and said I wasn't too late. The neon lights, just like in the picture, made me instantly relaxed. That combined with the calming mandolin music resonating across the room created an ambiance like no other. To summarize, I got the lunch deal and it was easily worth the amount I payed. After tax, it was 7.35, which is an amazing price. Good food, good service, and great cost.
We went to celebrate my sister-in-law's birthday. The service was excellent and the food was wonderful! Great portions and very reasonably priced. Great vegetarian options! Hunan Tofu and Vegetable Soup!
Amazing customer service. I ordered their won ton soup and egg flower soup. When it arrived one of the soups opened up a spilled all over. Not only did they replace that soup they replaced the whole order. The soup was delicious and thank you going above and beyond to correct the soup mishap:) The food was also amazing! I'll definitely be ordering from you in the future.
We like to have a drink at their bar with Nick, and of course, their food is the best. We like dining in, Walnut Prawns are always divine.
The food here is good. I’ve been going here since I was 11 (5 years ago) and always loved it. I might be a bit bias since I know this place well, but the same sweet asian waitresses are never going to disappoint you with your meal. It’s fast, it’s cheap, it’s a good meal (and big too).
Delicious. Excellent service. Fast and friendly. Food is fresh and tasty. Seated promptly. Clean. Pretty ambience. Made for a nice date lunch location. We had a great time.
Been coming here for over 20+ years and the food has always been phenomenal!.. the flavors, freshness, speediest service are always at the top!.. love this place, won't go any place else for Chinese food
Love their Singapore noodles & Pan fried noodle w/shrimp!! Good fried rice too! All their food is so tasty! Can wait to Dine in again. Comfortable atmosphere too. 😋😋
I've tried a bunch of chinese food spots in the area (at least 7 others) and they are one of the best, hands down! The food is always delicious, no matter what we order! They are our go-to for chinese food, and if for some reason they aren't on DashPass for DoorDash, we'll drive from Pittsburg into Concord just to pick them up because we don't...no, let me be clear...we WON'T eat any other chinese food!
Excellent food been going there for years and would recommend to everbody . Friendly courteous great service and very prompt even on busiest days . Give them a try you will be a regular before you know it . Be sure to try honey crispy walnut prawns the best to die for . Making my mouth water just talking about it . 👌
I’ve been going here for years. The food is really good, especially love their war wonton soup, and Szechuan prawns.. A+. The staff is always very friendly and never had an order get mixed up with someone else’s. I would definitely recommend this Concord restaurant dining in or taking out the food is always fresh and good
One of my favorites for Singapore noodles!! Everything taste wonderful n the service is so incredibly great as well..
Always fresh, hot, and delicious! Lovely staff.
Amazing food, staff, friendly and great atmosphere
I have been coming here for well over 20 years. The quality of the food, especially the meat has never changed. All ingredients are always fresh, especially the vegetables are crisp and delicious. On only one occasion when ordering eggplant the dish was too salty. I immediately brought this concern to the attention of the waitress and the dish was re-prepared and delicious. I've tried Chinese food at other restaurants in Concord and have consistently found that Mann's provides the best in quality of ingredients and seasoning.
Enjoyed meeting another couple here for drinks and apps a couple months back. I've been here before but never actually dined at a restaurant table. Only at the bar. Nick was behind the bar on our most recent visit. It was only around $30 for a potsticker plate and a couple of mixed rinks. We definitely like the atmosphere and prices. Great spot to check out and haven't had bad service yet.
Well honestly this review is long overdue! We come here all the time and hands down this is the best Chinese food in the Bay Area! Closed on Mondays and for some reason we have come at least 4 times craving the food! (We set reminders now! ;3) The food is always fresh, consistent and taste amazing! We enjoy the soups Hot and Sour and Wor Wonton for me! Along with many other appetizers like the deep fried prawns, Crab Ragoons the entrees are always the best especially the Braised Green beans with Garlic black bean sauce is amazing! You cannot go wrong here they have lunch specials during the week and its priced accordingly for the quality of food that you get! Ace, Jennifer and Betty are awesome and always know what we want, have fantastic personalities and are very welcoming every time we come! Any entree we've had is always phenomenal! 5 Stars easily!!!! <3
Great food, ambience and service. Love the changes made by the new ownership.
I love this place! And been going here for more than 5 yrs. Always good reliable food and service. Quick turnaround from order to table delivery. Even to go food is hot, fresh and fast! It’s a tad pricey, but worth it. Good Chinese food is not cheap! I highly recommend this restaurant to all my friends.
Mann’s Chinese Restaurant is hands down the best in town! The food is consistently fresh, flavorful, and delicious every time I visit. Whether it’s their signature dishes or the classics, you can always expect quality and taste. The staff is friendly and welcoming, making the dining experience even better. I highly recommend Mann’s for anyone craving authentic Chinese cuisine — it’s a hidden gem that never disappoints!
I ordered the Mu Shu Pork on Christmas. It was the, dare I say, the best Mu Shu Pork I’ve had in several years. It was fresh, tasty and fulfilling. It was take out where the food sometimes loses its taste and freshness. This was not the case. I gave 5 stars on atmosphere even though I realize it does not apply in this instance, but, when I’ve been in there, the atmosphere was good. I’ve yet to have a bad meal here.
Always fresh, hot, and delicious! Lovely staff.

All their food is good, shrimp and black bean sauce, I like the hunan chicken and shrimp. Also, I get the combination chow mein which I think is very good... You have to go in and see what your preference is...

Nice small neighborhood restaurant. Same staff for years, feels like going to a friends house for dinner :)
Good selection of dishes, good quality ingredients, fresh made to order
Good food, fast service. Bartender is good and friendly, Nick.
Food was good and good service. We go there at least once a month
Awesome food. Very excellent.
This Mann's Chinese Cuisine is excellent. Great food and drinks.
I love their food, the wonton soups especially!!! The only reason I give 4 instead of 5 stars is because we've never dined in, only ever take-away after work, so I can't comment or rate on the hospitality or service
I love the food at Manns, I usually get take out once a week. My favorite is the Green Bean special which has long green beans, chicken, beef and shrimp! :)
My family and I love eating out from here! The food is fresh and delicious 😋, and everyone is friendly.
Wonderful place. Good food. Friendly staff. Lovely bar....whenever they're allowed to open it again.
First timer here. Food was delicious 😋 and the servers are knowledgeable and friendly.
The food was delicious and the servers were super nice. The prices are slightly high, but I kind of understand you are paying for good food. I would say you just have to make your own decision. There’s nothing against their restaurant, because they are a pretty good restaurant but I have been there multiple times and it has been decently empty.
Been getting take out from here for at least 15 yrs finally ate there last night. Everything was great. I had 2 children under 5 also & it was enjoyable. Food & staff great. I loved the bobo plate last night. We over ordered & bought a bunch home. There portion sizes seems large & everyone was full. Will be returning to dine in soon.
It's good food good people and a good place to eat. I would not say it's my favorite place but for the price it's a good place to grab a bite with the family members. Priced in the middle with great portion sizes. We had the sweet and sour, rice, chow Mein, moshu and prawns. All were yummy yummy in our tummies
We went for drinks and came home with dinner. Julie was a fabulous bartender! She was so friendly and knowledgeable about her drinks and all of her V.I.P.'s. We took home spring rolls, which were sizable and had a decent amount of flavor for spring rolls (not my pick, not my favorite) I'm becoming a pot sticker expert because my boyfriend loves them so much. Mann's pot stickers have a good portion of tasty filling because they are plump and doughy. The dough soaks up the sauce perfectly. We also got shrimp chow mien to help balance out all the beer that was drank. (A half pitcher of Sierra Nevada was only $6.50!)
FINALLY, a place with good pot stickers. ..when Peking Boy (yes, that was a real place) went out of business I was devastated... I love pot stickers with that sauce that comes in 2 packets more than my gf... I wondered the Earth aimlessly, dejected and hopeless, every day passing a little more dead inside. ..UNTIL! !! MANN'S!!!! I ordered 6 servings of pot stickers...LIFE ALTERING, SWEET, SWEET POT STICKERS... and no I don't smoke weed... so yea...the pot stickers r good. ..I guess... the rest of the menu was decent too from other orders btw...

We felt rushed. They seemed to be more interested in the customers in the bar rather than dining customers.
It's okay...it must have been a buzy day cuz it's usually great...I will try again.
I have only ever gotten to go orders. They are fast and convenient. Never been wowed yet. Just been satisfied enough to go back once in a while.
***Double check your order*** I ordered "Complete Dinner" meals to-go which should have included appetizers, soup, rice but only received the main dish of each dinner.
Anything on the menu is awesome. Soups are best to go. These people can make food. Pricing is VERY good
I was sitting at the bar having a good conversation with a couple of people when the bartender told us to change the subject (he was a grumpy man) we were talking about the city we live in, and the direction it’s going. That really rubbed me the wrong way. A restaurant shouldn’t try to control what guests talk about. I got up and left, and I won’t be coming back.

7/12/2024. Food looks so good in their pictures but it’s not. Heavy doses of half cooked onions but light on chinese veggies. The egg rolls were raw inside, pasty dough. Generally awful. Sorry Mann’s but you can do better.

Szechuan beef was deep fried, but it big chunks and server with a MaePloy sauce.. General's chicken was deep fried and served with some dark purple sauce that tasted terrible. Chow mein was OK not that flavorful
Snippy service. Don’t appreciated feeling like I am inconveniencing wait staff. Left zero tip and I don’t feel one iota bad about it. Food was mediocre at best.
We have been going here for decades. Over the past few years, the food quality has really gone downhill.
Just ordered from there tonight for the first time. So excited that they had a bobo platter (pu pu platter) ordered side of bbq pork fried rice . the place is very clean and the service is excellent, friendly. the food however was not that great. the steak was dry. the rest was very greasy. not much flavor. I will not return to this restaurant again. so far chef chow and Shan Shan low are a couple of the better Restaurants here in the concord area.
Disappointed to say the least after the other reviews. Ordered via door dash. Chicken looks like it was Costco frozen chicken with sauce poured over it. Chow mein is bland and lacks any flavor. Pot stickers are really good but not worth the other food.
This is specifically for the to go service. I placed an order at 5:25pm for a 6:15 pick up time. It’s 6:35 and the food isn’t ready … unbelievable. Food is good but come on. Probably the last time I’ll be coming back.
Where do I begin? We were seated pretty quickly. However, it took the waitstaff 15 minutes to get us our menus. This was only after asking for them. It then took them another 20 minutes to take our order. Again, this was only after approaching the hostess stand and waitstaff to let them know we wanted to order. It took a total of 1.5 hours after we ordered for them to bring us our order, one dish at a time. Granted, this was Christmas Eve, and they were slammed. However, they had one waitress taking orders and one busboy. A second waitress came out 20-35 minutes after we were seated (this waitress took our order). They explained that they didn't realize it was going to be this busy in the restaurant as well as with online orders. We spoke with a regular who had been going there for the last 20 years or so and said it is always that busy on Christmas Eve. It seemed to us that they prioritized the online orders rather than the seated orders. It was outrageous and ridiculous that we were there for a total of 2+ hours. There were tables that came after us that received their dishes before we did. We left very unhappy and will not be going back to this restaurant. It was unbelievable.
We have been coming to Mann’s for over 35 years and yesterday’s lunch proved that the food has definitely changed! The flavor was the same but the freshness was lacking. Our 3 entrees were delivered within 10 minutes and were not hot but rather lukewarm and the sauces were dry so we knew our dishes were not just prepared for us. Our pot stickers were delivered after the entrees and were hot but our rice was also very dry and lukewarm. A previous review a month ago was our experience spot on. Sit where you like, paper menus and lukewarm food delivered promptly but not freshly prepared by order. If we wanted pre cooked food, we would have gone to Panda for half the price as their food is hotter & juicier that what we experienced yesterday. Do better Mann’s or your once loyal customers will be going elsewhere. Such a shame as this is the first time in over 35 years that the food was sub par.

They followed us to our car to tell us it’s obligatory to leave a tip
Confusing menue....and Asian lady's had no patience why must they be so rude. Oh and they tried to charge for refills at a restaurant????
Food is plain. Far from authentic. Kind of looks like leftovers thrown together....perhaps to save money....? My first time trying this place and I will not again. Could have been a bad night not sure but I could have saved the $50 for something else.
Used to be one of the best Chinese food restaurants around. The last 2 times we went there the food has not been so great. Maybe they have a new chef.
Ordered 6 items over $100. Horrible food. Taste like microwaved food. Makes me want to never order Chinese again. Disgusting .
worst food I've had in my life. microwaved quality and veggies were raw. absolutely disgusting. there is no pride in their cooking.
Food wasn't all that great.. Customer service/Waitress was very rude after I paid for my dine in, waitress literally follow me outside to ask am I going to leave a tip, I said no she immediately said profanity in another language very rude.
Tried this place for the first time last Saturday night. Went by the reviews and also just moved near there. Now I have lived all over the US and have had different styles of Chinese food. I love it. Eat it once a week. This place was awful. Lets start with the Szechuan Chicken, deep fired soggy mess. Took one bite and spitted it out. Wonton soup was bland. Sweet and sour pork was deep fried but tasted like it had been sitting under the heat lamps and got dried out. The only thing that was edible was the Salt and Pepper chicken wings but once again the chicken was dry. I tossed $45 worth of food in the trash and went to Panda Express which was 10 times better, lol.
I had the worst meal ever. I ordered the lemon chicken. I had to ask for a knife to cut it. I really needed a saw. I had my husband taste it, and he likes everything. He even said something is wrong with it. The waitress was very upset because I said I didn't like it. I've eaten there once before and wasn't that happy. But I will never eat there again .
Called over an hour before close. Couldn’t except my order. Would have walked in but on crutches in the parking lot. That was easier. No food no stars. The food is mediocre. I would actually drive past this place to go pick up the hot bar Chinese Safeway food
I requested utensils, hot mustard and napkins. They delivered without anything. I wasn't at-home, I am diabetic and needed to eat. But couldn't. The food was barely warm to the touch. Because I couldn't eat it.
I just left this place. Why I paid is beyond me? The food was so SALTY I couldn’t eat it!! And I like salt. They did not even offer to make me something new or not charge me!! They are thieves!! I will NEVER go back and I will tell everyone I know how bad it is!! My advice; stay away!! Don’t trust so-called local guides!! This food is sub-par at best!!
We just had the same exact experience as another posted review. We’ve been eating at Mann’s for the past thirty years and always loved the food. The recent change of ownership has taken the restaurant in sad direction. We went for a late lunch, and ordered our usual dishes, and an order of pot stickers, thinking we’d start with the pot stickers. Our Kung Pow chicken, Mongolian beef, and sting been chicken showed up in just minutes of the order being placed. This made us very suspicious if this was even our order. All three dishes looked kind of dried out and none of them were hot, they luke warm at best. About 5 minutes after receiving the food our pot stickers showed up. They were hot and great as ever. The other dishes had them same flavors as we remembered but were dried out and not hot, obviously they were pre prepared, and either microwaved or served from chafing dishes. It’s sad to see one of our families old time favorites take such a turn in the wrong direction, after its recent sale. If we want massed produced chafing dish food we’ll go to Panda, it’s usually hot and is half the price. I’m sure we’ll give Mann’s another shot as we love their food, but if something doesn’t change in their preparation it will be our last. You guys missed the whole point. I never said anything about the decor or the taste. The food wasn’t hot and we could tell it wasn’t prepared for use, it was prepared earlier and served to us luke warm. It’s the same exact thing another reviewer posted. If you don’t take the comments as constructive that’s on you, it won’t effect my business, it will effect yours.
I’ve been coming here since I was a little boy in the 1990s. Recently, I brought my girlfriend to share the nostalgic flavors I once loved. Unfortunately, things have changed—and not for the better. We were told to sit “wherever” and handed a paper menu. After placing our order, the food arrived in less than ten minutes. That’s never a good sign. The lemon chicken was dry around the edges and parts were so tough they were nearly impossible to chew. My fried rice was unevenly heated—some parts lukewarm, others steaming hot—clearly microwaved. To make matters worse, the appetizer—pot stickers—came out at the same time as the entrees. Instead of the crispy, flavorful texture Mann’s used to be known for, they were soft, mushy, and filled with hot goopy mush. Smh… such a shame. The owner is obviously in denial as she never commented about the swiftness of frying food in under ten minutes
