Was Kunden über Chipotle sagen
Chipotle Coronado offers a convenient Tex-Mex option, especially for takeout near the Hotel del Coronado. While some appreciate the fresh ingredients and generous portions, numerous complaints mention inconsistent food quality, rude customer service, and issues with online orders and stale chips.

Really great fast and fresh Mexican food right across from the Hotel Del. Really nice views around. Parking is usually a problem anywhere in this area, but it’s in the nice shopping area with very walkable pathways. Even when busy, it’s fairly easy to get around this location (as long as your car is already parked someplace). Food was fresh and very tasty, better than most Chipotle restaurants. I had the steak. It appeared a tad bit dry, but it was very tender and juicy- not dry at all. I always ask for both pick and hot sauce and they always oblige, delicious.
Didn’t actually eat here but was welcomed in when lightening and thunder got bad. When the lights flickered and another customer walked in the person in charge did an amazing job communicating with the customer that she needed to quickly brief the other employees on what to do if the power went out and then she quickly addressed the employee professionally and you could tell they respected her and were ready to work as a team. Next time I will eat here because of this positive experience. Thanks for letting us in and welcoming us for a few minutes!!!
We went into Chipotle today and had a pretty big order-7 people. Sydney (Cidney)-not sure of the spelling of her name- fulfilled our order. She was a champ! Honestly, it was lunch time, and there were a bunch of tourists and navy guys behind us. The crew worked in unison to help the individuals in line and tackle my larger than normal order. Everything went so smoothly, no panic and no annoyance from the staff. We had a wonderful experience, thank you for your patience and awesome customer service!
Honestly the best Chipotle in San Diego. They flavor the meat perfectly, the portions are always on point and the staff are wonderful. I've never been unsatisfied with my bowl and it's so good I make it a point to go once a week.
It was my 1st experience @ a Chipotle and it was awesome. The crew was so nice and helpful. It's obvious they come to work with great attitudes and keep that positive energy flowing during their shift. Y'all are appreciated!!!
I had a chicken burrito, take out but you design it your way. Very good too. No seating but not to worry. Right across the street is Coronado Beach and the Hotel Del Coronado. Plenty of places to go have lunch. They offer burritos, tacos, bowls, etc. Delish. 🌮🥤
Toni and Lamoe were absolutely incredible. I am on an incredibly strict diet and they took the time to sit there with me and figure out what I can eat and were so kind. They truly are the best part of Chipotle!
My experience here was the best tonight. Honestly it was the best chipotle experience I’ve ever had (I go to chipotle a lot so this really means a lot) I came in with my cousin and her five year old son and the staff loved him. They really made our night the best. Tony and Lamoe are the best when it came to talking with a tired and hungry five year old.
Everybody knows that you can’t go wrong with chipotle. So good to have this really enjoy it. You’re gonna love stopping by this location. It’s conveniently located in Coronado. Close to the beach. They got lots of great opportunities and snacks here that you can have. I highly encourage you to stop by this the next time you go to the beach and grab a treat.
Craving for a burrito? Are you ready to have a Tex-Mex burrito experience? Think about Chipotle, it is a new location just across from the Del Hotel! This place offers a healthier fast food option in comparison to other fast food places. There are a lot of fresh and good ingredients for you to pick. Such as, black beans, white rice, chicken, avocado, and many more options for you to create a wonderful burrito!! Ask for some quesadillas too! 😉

The food and service was amazing, the afternoon shift crew this busy Saturday were so professional and coomandeering, and SO patient with me when I asked about all of their availabe options. Although the surrounding customers were very rude and inconsiderate to the workers, the crew handled themselves with the utmost professional customer service!

Great venue! Right across from the historic Hotel del Coronado. I usually don't have any issues with the food. In fact, the employees here do a good job of keeping the line stocked with fresh offerings, and they are happy to load your bowl or your burrito up with all kinds of goodness! The parking is not reliable so you might have to use the parking garage below which does cost money, otherwise you may have to park many blocks away. No public restroom. The lack of parking and public restroom are the only reason i give this four stars instead of five.
Always love a trip to Chipotle!! Love that you can easily get a vegan meal here. Downside, the sofritas (braised tofu) has gotten spicier over the years and now it’s too spicy for me. Please make it mild again!! Love the guac!!
I'm not sure whether they use the same knife for chopping veggies and chicken but usually they keep things separate, pure vegetarian/vegan can try
Not proper sitting. Cleanliness is not upri the mark. The staff is courteous and prompt.
The food was pretty good, only that i couldn't see where the prices where exposed.
Quite decent compared to my regular Chipotle location. Ingredients were fresh, surroundings are great. Their chips seemed overlooked salted, otherwise food was good.

A good option for takeout if you are craving tex-mex. Had the bowl and salad but burritos lool great too! Good value for money and can get a lot of options, even some healthy choices if you don't want too many carbs or fat. Delicious birria and carne asada bad great guac and salsas.

I do love chipotle but yesterday I got a burrito where the chicken was really dry so was the rice, it felt like day old rice. It gave me diarrhea :(.
I just picked up food and everytime I order online I get way less food than in person. If you want to get a proper portion than order inperson

This location was really disappointing. I ordered a quesadilla ahead online and when I got there they were just cooking the steak. The quesadilla was tiny and a terrible value for $9. On top of that they ran out of sour cream and the girl who told me this didn't even offer a replacement side. She just handed me my bag and said sorry we're out of sour cream.
Have ordered via UberEats from this location at least half a dozen times. The chips are ALWAYS stale and rubbery. I got okay ones once and keep trying again, but I’m always in amazement at how bad they are. The greens (baby kale?) in my salad today were YELLOW and mottled like they were past due. Luckily I noticed fairly quickly and picked out all the bad ones. It makes me worry other ingredients might be past their expiration too. I’ve also experienced loud music coming from the back when ordering in person here, the staff don’t seem super happy, and the tables outside are often dirty (and sometimes the server stations where they make your food). The one pro is it’s always pretty fast.
Lettuce was missing from my salad bowl (the green was actually bell peppers), we were shorted 2 drinks, and they closed the outdoor seatiing 2.5 hours before the store closed, so we couldn't dine in (no indoor dining at this location). After all my complaints I hate to add more, but the portions were the smallest we've ever received from a chipotle and the lady who kicked us (but not the other patrons) off the patio was not nice, and the back patio is not clean. Parking is scarce during the summer, because of tourist season. Do yourself a favor and go to a different location.

About 40% of the time I go they say, "Sorry, our service is down and we can't take orders." Just a bunch of employees standing around doing squat. This has been going on for months now. Get your stuff together. What ineptitude.
Skimped heavily on the food. I don’t usually leave reviews but this time I feel it’s necessary to mention the portions were very small compared to other locations.

**Title: Disappointing Experience at Chipotle, Coronado** **Date of Visit: December 28, 2023, at 12:20 PM** I visited Chipotle at 1360 Orange Ave in Coronado today, hoping for a quick and satisfying meal. Unfortunately, my experience was marked by both service and food quality issues. Upon entering, my initial impression was marred by disappointment. The chips served were excessively salty, and one of the burritos was overly spicy, deviating from the usual quality I expect from Chipotle. Additionally, another burrito order was incomplete, missing fajita vegetables and salsa. The service further dampened my experience. An older woman employee conveyed a sense of unwelcome from the outset. She expressed annoyance, stating that our order had been sitting for half an hour and that we were taking too long to pick it up. This was both surprising and disconcerting, as such delays are not typical in my past experiences with Chipotle. Her comment, followed by a spiteful 'Happy New Year', felt more like adding insult to injury rather than a genuine greeting. This visit left me with a sense of frustration and disappointment. The combination of subpar food quality and unwelcoming service significantly detracted from what I had hoped would be a pleasant dining experience. Chipotle is known for its customer-friendly approach and consistent food quality, but today's experience was a stark departure from these standards. I am compelled to rate this visit with only 1 star. I hope this feedback serves as a constructive means for improvement in both service and food quality at the Coronado location.
Most pathetic customer service at any fast food restaurant. First off they messed up all our orders. They mixed queso where it was kit supposed to, and skipped where they had to. They could not get a simple burrito bowl order right. Be careful to check all your orders. They did a horrible job packing it as well. Most bags were leaking and the paper bags had gone soft. When we asked her for an extra bag, the old lady started grumbling. When we pointed out another mistake in the order, she literally started screaming at us and started making sarcastic comments. Will never go back to this location where they can bright make food, nor show basic courtesy.
Visited the Chipotle on dec 28, and experienced poor service. Our group included children, yet despite specifying 'no spice' in the order notes, their meals were unacceptably spicy. Additionally, a bowl meant to contain vegetables and salsa only had beans and rice, and the chips were excessively salty. When requesting a second bag due to wet packaging, the staff refused our request. Overall, a disappointing experience.
My veggie bowl was missing veggies, fajitas and salsa! To make my experience worse, one of the elderly employees was very rude. She refused to give an extra bag. We had ordered for a large group and least we expect is to pack the food properly. I am never visiting this store again.
Great place if all you want is a bowl of rice. Never again. So many of us military folks go here because it's relatively healthy. 13 bucks for nothin.
Beware of the grumpy lady servicing food at this chipotle location. We had a horrible experience where we ordered the food to-go and the salsa leaked into the bag when we came to get our food. She did not want to give us a new bag or double bag the food. This is the first time I have experienced this attitude at Chipotle. I will not go back again to this location.
The only Chipotle in Coronado and I walked in at 8:30p.m. and they were out of salsa, cheese, and lettuce....pretty average toppings for any entree on the menu I would say. Very unfortunate, but that is 50% of the average customers entrees. This also occurred while there were 6 people on staff with me being the only one in the restaurant. I have worked in the restaurant industry before and I know for a fact that the team is not cutting lettuce and stocking salsa the morning of. Very disappointed in the service tonight and I am hopeful that this will not happen to another customer who is expecting a different type of experience. Managers, set your expectations higher with the increase in minimum wage and the outcome will reflect it.
I just want to share a horrible experience. The old lady who was the server was very disrespectful and seemed insolent. My little kids vacation was ruined. We love Chipotle but I will not be visiting this location. I sincerely hope Chipotle’s leadership addresses this rude behavior.
There’s no reason why yalls stations are always dirty. Just came in and it was disgusting. Food scattered across the order station, food spilled in other containers. Please do better because it’s embarrassing at this point.
I came for lunch, my friend picked up our food. I got a burrito bowl, and the extra fajita veggies I ordered where completely raw, onion, peppers, etc. on top of our order that we placed on line was over 10 minutes late.
Hands down worst Chipotle I have gone to, I stood in line while the manager karla was gossiping with the cashier, they became snarky when I walked to the counter. Food also wasnt up to par with other locations of Chipotle I eat at.
this place has the WORST customer service. Their app / online order system did not work, so they did not receive my order. They told me I would have to RE BUY the food, a second time!!! if we wanted our food.... and then would need to call customer service for a refund??? They were very rude and not helpful. Unfortunately we WONT be coming back, even though we live a few blocks away.
Cold tortillas, cold chicken, cold rice. This place can't keep their food hot enough and that's dangerous. We have put this chain on our " never again list". Quality is horrible. Our 4 year old hot queezy after finishing his burnt quesadilla. Yes. Our experience was really that bad and we're so done with this place.
Had one person working the counter at a lunch rush, after waiting 30 min for my meal the system goes down and I can’t even pay for my food. Also had one of the employees slamming dishes and being obnoxious. On top of all of this because of the ridiculously long wait I was forced to pay $25 in a parking garage when I should be in and out in 15 min and not be forced to pay for parking.
The old lady refused to give me a cup for the water. She said they are out of water cup or big cups (for regular drinks). She gave the 2 white people before me though (I heard the guy say to his companion that this branch is out of water cups so he is holding regular drink cups, so I went in and asked for a cup too but she says they are out of water cups and big cups.) Then another customer went in, but this time it was a younger staff who served the person and he handed a big cup for water just like that. [To the branch: I see that many people are giving their feedback regarding that specific staff. We hope you can counsel the old lady on her actions as well as monitor for service improvement and sent for further training if needed.]
The nastiest chipotle bowl I’ve ever had… it’s dry and flavorless. I simply don’t understand even the rice was bland. Is this the standard ingredients that all other chipotles across the US use? Not only that but I’m from Texas and when I order online I do not have to wait in line behind customers to get my prepaid online pick up order. That TOTALLY defeats the purpose. All I can say is EWWW !!! 0 stars for flavor & why buy ahead of time to skip the line up only get stuck waiting in line.
Came here for dinner with a kiddo and I grabbed a chicken burrito for me and a kids quesadilla. When I checked out, $17 for the meals together, which isn't bad. The older woman at the register, let's call her Doris, tells the kiddo they get chips and a drink. He settles on chocolate milk and walks away. Then one of the younger employees, let's call her Gertrude, comes over to tell me that I ordered a full-sized quesadilla. I tell both Gertie and Doris that I didn't order that, I ordered the kids one. 12 people in line behind us, so this wasn't awkward at all as I'm now showing the whole process down. Ok fine Gertie, what's the difference in the price and what we get, I ask. She tells me a second small portion of quesadilla, no drink, no chips, twice the price. Weird, I say I want the kid one. She tells me that I have to wait in line again, obviously knowing I'll have to take what I have instead of waiting. Obviously I didn't want the hungry kid to turn hangry. Well played ladies, well played. So I asked for the other items to be included and Doris says no. So I take what we have, less food, more money, and I look at the final damage, $27 now, which is weird. Oh look, the fine ladies also charged me $3 for the chocolate milk that we were told we had included then taken away. Needless to say this is still the worst Chipotle in the county. For those curious, you are not permitted to return a chocolate milk that has been opened and had your kid chug 70% of. Just a note for later.

Cashier and manager are super rude, customer service is not good and they are not even trying to help customers. Food quality is bad, not fresh.
This is literally the worst chipotle in San Diego and I love chipotle and I never even write reviews. Every time i unfortunately have to come to this chipotle the steak is always burnt
Came here during lunch today and your line cook decided to throw my bowl on the counter and seems to have hearing issues when it comes to people telling her what they want on there bowl. LEFT THE BOWL RIGHT ON THE COUNTER and walked out go here if you want poor customer service.
This is the worst chipolte in the San Diego area! Ran by a bunch of inconsiderate, rude, and unfriendly people! We came in to eat lunch with 4 kids and 3 adults and also to get out of the rain! It had started raining heavily and we were on stranded on bikes. They waited till after we order over $100 worth of food that we could not eat inside the restaurant at the standing bar. At the same time they told us that the patio was closed and they had to put down the umbrellas. So nowhere to go except out into the pouring rain with our food and 4 kids. They also ran two other ladies out of the store that had been sitting on the patio. Very inconsiderate and the worst customer service of all time! Will never go back , and you shouldn’t either!
First time eating here and it was sad. Walked in at 630pm to grab a family dinner meal and was told they don't do that there. So NBD until I asked for 4 bowls... I was told that they had limited stock and everything I saw was what was left. I continued to ask if I needed to wait for anything fresh amd was told they were limited on food, short staffed, and what I saw was what I could order. After looking around and seeing 5 workers there, smiled and smirked. I continued my order of 4 bowls to go and had the smallest bowls I have ever recieved...it was pathetic. I literally have a small portion of rice, chicken, and black beans...everything else was missing! I asked if there was any discount or fixes I could get and was returned with a look like I was not speaking the same language. Atleast throw some of your old stale chips... This experience was so sad and don't think I will ever return. Floor and garbage havnt been touched in a while but it was too late, I ordered and paid. You've been warned, stay away.
We ordered our food and, after finishing, stayed inside to wait for our Uber since it was cold outside. One employee kept staring at us and asked if we were ordering, even though she had already served us and could clearly see the Chipotle drink in my hand. About five minutes later, she asked again if we planned to order anything. When we said no, she very rudely told us to leave the store. Overall, it was an unfortunate experience as paying customers to be treated like we were loitering.
