This was my first time visiting this establishment. When I looked at the pics and reviews online I was persuaded to try them out. I must say the pics don’t do the food any justice! I ordered a seafood boil bag and this place is my new seafood spot!! The sauce was soooo damn good!!!! It’s been hard finding good places to eat out here in Texas. I ordered the coral sea combo over door dash yall DOORDASH and when it came it was still hot the crab was incredible, crawfish immaculate, shrimp spectacular corn potato and sausage top tier , and the sauce?! LOOORRRRRDD I can’t even imagine how good it would be in person if they treated me this good over DoorDash 😫

What a great place price for my entire meal was 94.00 dollars but that comes with great quality. Oysters were delicious and ice cold the steam pot I ordered was fire! Order mild and get hot sauce on the side to dip 10/10 on flavor. The crawfish were huge highly recommend this place !

This place was amazing. The food was delicious and served hot, the portion size was very generous, and the waitresses were informative and nice. Inside the building was decorated pretty cute and the place was well lit and clean. I got the coral bag and oyster ceviche and loved it. Husband got a pro boy sandwich and was happy with it. This was our first time here but we’ll most definitely be back again soon.

Chill environment. Nice drinks. Music is good sometimes (they play a lot of oldies) but other than that the vibe is nice 💯

Bartender was cool and trying to make small talk. We got there at 9pm so too early bc it was dead but he showed me a video of it packed at 1am so will have to come back later. The DJ was throwing jams! Good music. I liked the roof top vibe.

Coming here solo as a brown guy from Toronto was a very interesting experience. Black culture where I'm from is predominantly Caribbean, Southern Black culture is something I've only had third-person experience of. I was circling the neighbourhood for a bit, unsure of where I should go since I was on my own. There was a girl promoting the place outside of the club, she told me it was still free entry at that point of the night so I was sold. Pat down was thorough, which is understandable given the local gun culture. I ordered the Red Ball subbed with vodka from a chill bartender, price was right especially for a club. It was very early in the night so the main floor wasn't very active yet, so after some time I wet up to the rooftop to vibe out. I noticed a sign that prohibited cannabis...but EVERYONE was smoking blunts hahaha. The vibe on the rooftop was cool, it was awesome hearing southern rappers in a club like Lil Boosie, Webbie etc. because you don't ever hear that type of music in Toronto clubs. People weren't exactly friendly but not hostile either, I felt comfortable even though I was by myself.

I had the 1lbs shrimps boiled headless with extra Shazam sauce, I did not know how spicy it was and the sauce was too sweet. I would try it again with a milder sauce next visit. Services were good, the waitress was attentive, she warned me how spicy it was but I figured I can handle it. She even offered to make a new order of shrimp free of charge with a milder sauce. Atmosphere could have been better, music was good and the place is not too loud.

We loved our experience! Our waiter was top tier, my bf margarita was on point, my lychee sangria was ok. I’ve had better sangrias. Our food was amazing flavor wise and the portions were large. We got the medium bags a piece which are good for 4 people but we are seafood LOVERS lol. We had enough left over for the next day. The oysters were good.

Was easy to get a table for our very large family. Service was very fast and friendly. I'm not giving them 5 stars because I'm not a seafood fan and they were out of beef for their cheeseburgers. I'm giving them 4 stars because everyone else in my group absolutely enjoyed it. The portions were good sized for the money. There was lots of parking and very easy to find.

Love the rooftop area of this place. The downstairs area is pretty small. I don't like the new "dance floor" area. Too small. I liked it better when it was Red Light Lounge. Other than that, it's a chill spot to hang out for drinks and listen to music.

I dig The Nines, the women are attractive and active (dancing, drinking and sociable). There is not much negativity from the fellas and the staff assists you the whole night from behind the bar to the front door. Nice location, they are near other bars and restaurants. I have a good time every/time I go.

If you're of a certain culture, you'll most likely enjoy this place. The staff was nice, the drinks came quick. Plenty of security guards everywhere. Very good pat down upon entry. The upstairs dance floor was large and if not so cold out probably quite fun. Definitely a place for people liking some booty shaking rap music. I wasn't quite in that kind of dance mood.. lol

The crab leg cluster was only 3 legs. I order clusters often and this was small compared to most. And it tasted like it was heated from frozen, and it felt that way as the legs were flexible/easily bent instead of crisp. I had to "tear" them apart which I've never experienced before. The service was attentive but not overly friendly, when I was leaving there was ample opportunity to genuinely thank me but I was met with side eye and "thanks" Won't return based on this experience.

The food was seasoned and came out quickly. We ordered the spicy calamari, garlic noodles with sausage, and the catfish and shrimp mix and match. The spicy calamari seasoned well and tasted pretty good. However, I am not a fan of calamari steak cuts. I prefer the natural form of rings. The shrimp was seasoned well. However, the catfish had the "fishy" taste. My spouse had the garlic noodles and noted they tasted great, and the garlic wasn't overpowering. Our drinks were very good and the service was prompt.

This place is very different. Must be under new management. The dirty rice recipe is completely changed- not good at all. The boil felt a bit overcooked and the flavor just didn’t penetrate the shrimp like it used to. It was super clean though and the waitress was very nice and sweet.

Our waiter and the staff were excellent!!! Our waiter was helpful in explaining the dishes and prices since they were posted in the front when you walk-in but not on your menu. I decided to go a la carte instead of the ordering the “sack” since I did not want a potato or sausage. I ordered the shrimp and raw oysters…bad mistake since the raw oysters were so murky. I could not believe they were serving me these oysters that had a slight smell. Everyone at the table told me to send them back after observing what I saw which I did because I did not want to get sick from this meal ( please see photo) As a group we ordered the calamari, boudin balls and fried okra all horrible. The boudin balls tasted liked prepackage with no flavoring. I am still tried to determine what breaded battered was on the calamari because I applaud for the creativity of using something others do not use but at least try to seasoned the batter or calamari (please see photo). The okra was just dipped in unflavored light battered and just fried. My friends had the Alaskan King crab that one of them had me to try at the house because she thought the crab was “not tasty or fresh”. I agreed and thought the crab was not as fresh tasting or seasoned as I would liked (please see photo). The corn and potatoes were ok. Oh yeah if you order alcohol beverages please keep in mind that this place only serves beer and wine so even though they list $5 margaritas for the happy hour it has wine instead of tequila!!!! Then we learned after paying almost $200 for one bag of crab that we could have ordered $35 King Crab special our way out that the pI would not recommend this place and would suggest to the owners please be careful with storing, cooking and serving raw seafood

I had heard great things about this place and was excited to celebrate my special day here with friends and family but once we arrived everything went downhill. They refused to seat us despite showing proof of our reservation and after waiting almost half an hour we were finally seated. The owner was extremely rude when we tried to bring it up and refused to hear us out. I totally understand the pressure restaurant owners carry but to go out your way and literally tell us to "get out and find a diff club" is ridiculous. Unfortunately, the night was ruined, I would hate for anyone to go through the same experience.

Charged $90 for parking and when I left I was harassed by a guy trying to force me to let him wash my windshield with his bucket and squeegee. There are no gates or parking lot attendants/security or any indication this is a paid parking lot. I was parked here for 3 hours and received a letter saying I parked illegally and owe $90. No parking is that is expensive. I didn’t even spend that much at the club that night. Not safe, ripped off, stay away from this place!

Bouncer that was there tonight needs to go thru training again or something. Groped an entire group of dudes and asked my non binary partner to tell him what exact gender they are so he knew if he should pat them down. Why not just use the wand and let them go on their way? Definitely needs to become educated so this doesn’t happen to more people. Won’t be coming back.

Last time i went i had one drink & the room started spinning & i started throwing up… i think that says it all. Never going there again, i didn’t feel normal till that sunday, mind you i went on a Friday..

So I’m leaving a one star review because if google could let me leave a zero I would most definitely give it to this “club/bar” for being the worst establishment in Deep Ellum. This bar is disgustingly prejudice. I recently just went last Saturday with me and a couple of girlfriends, me being the only guy out the group who is 5’0 foot, the shortest and smallest out of them, and pretty much everyone else inside the bar was literally manhandled and harassed by a security guard for using the bathroom. Pushed me to the ground for no reason. Behind this, told my friend that he was about to put his hands on me while I’m inside the bathroom?? (And so y’all are not confused the bathroom is for both male and females, it’s literally just one bathroom for whoever needs to use it, even has a sign showing that right outside the door) So when I come out I’m literally on the floor confused as ever to be on the GROUND!!! For NO reason!!! Men like him have a big insecurity issue within themselves for you to go out your way and hurt others who don’t pose a threat and are just being themselves and I’m only writing this review for a lawsuit because once I tried to still be the bigger and responsible person after I was the one getting touched for no reason, I tried talking to the bartender, security outside and several other workers to get the security name and all I got was “were not obligated to give out that information” asked to speak to a manager “I’m the manager for the night” apparently every person I spoke with is a manager up there which is beyond hilarious and ridiculous. But I thank god for the support system I have… filed a police report and spoke with a lawyer, it’s tragic people still have to deal with this kind of stuff in 2024.

The quality and quantity of the food here have definitely gone downhill. I always order the same meal whether dining in or taking it to go—and lately, it’s been disappointing. The crab legs are overcooked, and one clusters are missing legs or barely have any meat inside. When I asked about the missing legs, the staff tried to gaslight me as if I didn’t know my regular order or how many clusters are supposed to come with it. Also, since when does “½ order of shrimp” mean only five shrimp? On top of that, prices have gone up. Overall, I left disappointed. Time to find a new seafood spot.

I guess this place is under new management. Either way they have definitely declined in service. My daughter and I ordered a Bering Sea each and it was horrible. Everything in the bag was overcooked, tough and rubbery. This was pointed out to the waitress/ manager and neither of them offered a solution nor apologized for the inconvenience. I definitely won’t be returning. Do better..

Where do I start? For $28 I ordered 2 mix and match plates one with catfish, fries and hush puppies and the other with catfish, shrimps and so called dirty rice, I’ll start with the rice, absolutely horrible…no seasoning and there were hard pieces all throughout the rice, the catfish was so greasy and it had a spoiled taste to it, I don’t even think that was catfish, tasted like swai I threw it away. Worst experience ever with Crab Station!!! Won’t be back!!
