The Exchange Food Hall is a dream come true if you can never decide on just one type of food. The variety here is impressive — from street tacos to fresh sushi, artisanal pizzas to decadent desserts, there’s literally something for every craving and every mood. The space is lively but still comfortable, with plenty of seating and a fun, social atmosphere. It’s the perfect spot to bring a group because everyone can grab what they want and still eat together. The vendors clearly put care into their dishes, and the portions feel worth the price. It can get busy during peak hours, so expect a little wait at the more popular stalls — but that’s just a sign the food is worth it. Pro Tip: Go with a friend and order from different spots so you can share and taste more of the menu.
The outside and inside are designed amazingly, and I can tell the workers, and the management team is putting extra effort into maintaining their high standard of them. It was super clean! The food is also an excellent and super comprehensive variety of options from Asian, American, and Mexican, and to the bars and even desserts! I tried Japanese cuisine, Salmon Bento. Not going to lie; when I saw the portion of the salmon, I was so disappointed. But the salmon was such tender, and with amazingly crispy skin; also, the Spicy Tuna roll was the best spicy tuna roll I ever had. The salad and gyoza were extra fresh!!!!
The food was great. The atmosphere was nice very busy on a Sunday.
Amazing Place! Great service, very nice and lovely food!!! Give it a 100/10 review I HIGHLY recommend. I had the waffles from Press Waffle Co. Words can’t explain how amazing and delicious they were. I also got a chance to meet the owner of the business and he was VERY nice and respectful. 10/10⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
I had a wonderful experience at Baboushi in Downtown Dallas at the Exchange Hall. The food was delicious, full of flavor, and made with care. The coffee was top-notch—rich and perfectly brewed. The atmosphere is relaxed, making it a great spot to unwind and enjoy a meal. Whether you're looking for a quick bite or a place to linger, Baboushi delivers on all fronts. Highly recommend!
🎉 Lots of food options! 🍕 Pizza 🍔 burgers 🍰 Cheesecake 🌮 tacos 🍜 noodles & sushi 🧇 waffles 🍺 Beer ☕ Coffee (rise+thyme) And more!! 📈 Trendy food options 🪑Indoor and outdoor seating is plenty 🅿️ ATT center parking garage is free (they can validate ticket at the restaurants in food hall) 👨👩👦👦 Good place to bring family, friends, or solo 🙍 Will be coming back!
Went in the morning, but the variety of quality food options, friendly service provided from all vendors makes this a no brainer. This place is a must visit destination!
Good was amazing! Quick and friendly service from Gina and Lorenzo. I’ll definitely be back. Must-try spot in Dallas.
A one-of-a-kind experience with many restaurants. The atmosphere is electric At the AT&t Discovery district
The " Dock Local" was absolutly delicous!! My pictures are of the "Maine " Roll, on their menu, and with their House Made Chips. Absolute, Best Recommendion , from the cashier. Thank you so much, for a Tasty Roll..I hope the real stuff in the state, Maine itself, doesn't disappoint me:) Because, Dock Local, is my Best Lobster Roll , to Date;)
Great atmosphere. Hard to find parking. You can find all kinds of food here. Beautiful scenery and a great area to take photos, get dessert, grab food, share a drink, meet ups, and they usually have events going on.
We come here every now and then. It's something our various food lovers enjoy because there's so much variety. We haven't even eaten at all of the places yet. Baboushi and Two Wings are 2 of our favorites. Also glad to see they added an Indian cuisine restaurant (photo of my tikka masala and dal barkhani). There's nothing we haven't had that we don't like. Sweets, treats, and full meals are available. There's a bar loaded up with tap handles for the craft beer drinker also. If you haven't been here, think of a mall food court with a little higher end choice and quality of food. Or a collection of gourmet food trucks but they're indoors with climate controlled seating. Local security does a good job of keeping the "urban campers" from loafing around and getting in the way. When you're done eating you can go out onto the plaza, watch the AT&T Center big screen and play garden Connect Four or just people watch.
A must-visit food spot in the heart of Downtown Dallas The Exchange Food Hall is one of the best places to eat in Downtown Dallas. It has an awesome variety of food options, from gourmet burgers and tacos to Asian fusion, coffee, and desserts—all under one roof. Perfect whether you’re in the mood for something quick or want to try a few different things. The space is modern, clean, and well-designed, with plenty of seating both inside and outside. It's great for lunch with coworkers, casual dates, or just hanging out. Every vendor I've tried has delivered great flavor and friendly service. I also love how it showcases local chefs and creative menus—you can always find something new and exciting. If you’re in the area, The Exchange is definitely worth a visit. Great food, great vibes, and something for everyone!
There's something for everyone here. With a full bar as well. Food options are diverse and the atmosphere is welcoming. Great place to hang out whether youre local or visiting.
I got breakfast here on a Saturday morning and I was very impressed with everything. I don't remember the name of the stall but it was a breakfast spot separated from all the other in the middle of the place. The young man who helped me was so kind and walked me through the menu the young lady was also so kind. The food came out very fast and I got potatoes and bacon and it was solid! Portions are perfect and I have zero complaints. Wonderful experience.
The Exchange Food Hall is a dream come true if you can never decide on just one type of food. The variety here is impressive — from street tacos to fresh sushi, artisanal pizzas to decadent desserts, there’s literally something for every craving and every mood.
Chilangos Tacos at the Exchange Food Hall in Dallas is such a gem! The staff are incredibly kind and welcoming, making you feel right at home. The fast and casual setup is perfect for a quick bite without sacrificing quality. Their variety of tacos is amazing—there’s truly something for everyone. I deeply appreciate the effort they put into creating such a delicious and enjoyable experience. Highly recommend!
This is a fantastic place to get a meal with a large group. There are long tables with comfortable chairs for everyone to sit at, plus many nearby stations to get ice, water, drinks, napkins, and other things needed to enjoy your meal. The variety of food choices is amazing and is sure to satisfy any dietary need or immediate craving. I ordered a savory waffle from Press Waffle Co. and it was incredible. The next time I'm in Dallas I will definitely return!
Variety of Greek dishes, too. Such a nice pick of many different restaurants with more than ample seating. So many smiles and nice conversations too.
This is a great place to enjoy the city and eat your meal. There are options to dine in or take your food on the patio. The serving sizes are large and they fill you right up. We would come back here again when we are in the city. (There are many shops to choose from, kind of like a food court but better quality.)
Great selection of different types of food to try. I had the lobster roll and it was really good. Also, the Mexican is also tasty per hubby.
I'll update this review later, but my initial impression is great. Awesome atmosphere Good service and good food. The prices for some of the restaurants are expensive but what do you expect it's downtown. Got to pay to play. Otherwise though if you can afford it. Good food for decent prices, and the vibes are present. Most definitely recommend.
It was my first time visiting the Exchange Hall and decided to order from The Dock. We ordered the Lobster Grilled Cheese and it was the best Lobster sandwich I’ve ever had, hands down! It was full of succulent lobster and oozing in plenty of cheese. Absolutely delicious! I also had a piece of cheese pizza from Zalat which was also incredible, thin & crispy with fresh tomato & mozzarella.
Came here to have lunch on a Saturday afternoon. Beware that parking can be a little iffy, especially since there is some construction. But there are various public parking lots that you need to pay for. I like how this place is tucked into the city. There are tables and chairs to eat outside and it’s very calming and relaxing. The inside was very nice, well maintained and clean. I chose to eat at a place called Baboushi, and has their falafel bowl. It was delicious and I would highly recommend if you like Mediterranean food. My spouse got two sliders from “Easy Slider.” He liked them both though he did get one with peanut butter and he said he couldn’t taste it. I enjoyed the variety of options here and I would definitely return to try more places.
The new Exchange Hall in downtown has something for everyone (literally) with their 15+ restaurants. My husband and I enjoyed our lunch outside after ordering from Bobbers Burgers and Baboushi. Both meals were great and the atmosphere was amazing. It was moderately busy when we went but we didn’t have trouble finding a table. The turf and outdoor games are great for kids. No open container rules so you can grab a drink from the bar inside and walk around freely. Nearby street and garage parking are available. Highly recommend checking this place out!
A wide range of food to suit everyone. The spicy peanut noodles and chicken stirfry noodles from Monkey King Noodle Co were great. We had a few cocktails out on the grass and watched the Cowboys game on the big screen which was fun. We stayed long enough to need pizza slices from Zalat, so tasty. The Exchange is an awesome spot!
Great 1st impression. We came to the area to see the Clint Eastwood Tribute at the Whitacre Tower next door and stayed for lunch. We looked over all the food stalls and chose Baboushi bowls. See photos of them and menu. Lots of folks there for weekday lunch. Best of all for visitors in area is restroom (clean and well lighted). One doesn't have to buy food/drink to use it.
The carne asada nachos are my goooo tooo! It’s a hefty portion and always loaded. Gina and Lorenzo’s customer service is great. Friendly service and food quality is excellent!
Got a bowl at Baboushi that was excellent - if you want a healthy veggie option that’s flavorful and tasty, this is great. The proteins looked good too. The staff was exceptionally nice and remade my bowl when I accidentally got a sauce that had dairy in it.
It's a nice little food haul in the center of downtown Dallas. The Exchange also has a green space connected to it, so your kids can play, and you can chill out and hang out in the Sun and just sit here and relax for a little bit. They have security patrolling the place, so you don't have to worry about being feeling unsafe.
This place is super cute and chic! You have a variety of food and bar options to suit everyone's taste. We ate at Easy Sliders, the mini burgers are divine and the tarte pops are crazy, you must try them. The attention of this place was excellent and everything very clean and organized.
Beautiful place with beautiful location, Great ambiance and with perfect view and options of food. The exchange hall is a great place to hangout, they have a combination of all food options. Bar Japanese Turkish Smoothies Shakes Coffee You will love it all. They have both inside and outside sitting.
It's impressive when the counter girl remembers your name and how you take your coffee. The crepes from the crepe area were great. They weren't as friendly as the girl at the breakfast area. The brisket was good as well as the beans. The male behind the cou ter was also very nice.
My family of 5 loved all the options here. It’s really great to have this food-court style dining in the middle of Dallas. Everyone can get what they want in one stop and the food was great! Also, it’s right next door to the AT&T Discovery District where you can walk around or come for an event. Really a nice surprise on a day trip to Dallas.
Nice spot to grab a date night bite, there are plenty of different options to choose from as well as a bar! There is also balcony seating and the view is beautiful! They do hold events here sometimes I Believe movie nights because there is a really large screen right outside the venue that you can see from the balcony seating
The Exchange Food Hall is such a nice and fun place to visit! There’s a great variety of food and coffee options, so everyone can find something they love. You can easily grab your food, enjoy a drink, and relax because there is plenty of seating both indoors and outdoors. The atmosphere is lively but still comfortable, making it perfect for families, friends, or even a casual solo outing. Everything feels clean, organized, and welcoming, and the setup makes it easy to walk around and explore different spots. Definitely a great place to hang out, eat good food, and enjoy the vibe. I really enjoyed my time here and will be coming back again!
Here’s a NED-style review for The Exchange Food Hall (Dallas): --- ✅ What Works Well - Trendy, open-concept food hall with a diverse mix of vendors—tacos, sushi, pizza, fusion, desserts. - Great spot for groups with different tastes. - Lively atmosphere with modern design and plenty of indoor/outdoor seating. - Efficient service across most stalls; lots of grab-and-go options. - Occasional live music or events add to the vibe. --- 👎 What to Watch Out For - Can be pricey depending on the vendor. - Seating may be limited during peak hours. - Quality varies between stalls—some stronger than others. - Parking downtown can be a hassle (use DART or rideshare if possible). --- 🎯 Verdict The Exchange is a fun, flexible dining hub offering something for everyone in a stylish, social setting—great for casual outings or trying something new. Rating: 4.2 / 5 --- Want top vendor recommendations from inside The Exchange?
They were having this event called JoJo Jam the showcase here and it was amazing. The atmosphere was perfect for the live performances and cheerful patrons. They have great bar tenders who make really good drinks. Plus the outside is something to see itself. They have the water and big screens to look at. Its a really dope spot plus across the street they have this spot called rodeo bar, and it has great food and live performances as well. Nice place for a date night out. I recommend 👍🏽👍🏽
🎉 🎉🎉 Hello Dallas, Texas!!! 🎉🎉🎉 While in Dallas for a Health and Wellness conference, The Exchange was super close to our hotel and definitely a unique experience!!! We really wanted some Texas BB-Q…so we went to Brisket Rules in this amazing place! First off, a smile and friendly service is super important to me - and we were greeted with just that from Fransisco!!! He has a great personality and was so good to us! He knows the menu well, answered all of our questions with a friendly attitude and even brought our food to our table!!! I ordered the “Bowl Up” and it did not disappoint!!! So good - so flavorful - absolutely delicious!!! So if you want great good and great service - choose this place! You’ll be glad you did!!! 👏👏👏👏
So many yummy looking options! We stopped here on the way to our hotel after landing for a quick bite. We tried the lobster and shrimp grilled cheese from Dock Local and the Brisket Sandwich from Brisket Rules. Their BBQ sauce was the perfect texture and taste and I'm not a huge BBQ sauce fan but would absolutely eat that over and over!
I had the General Tso Chicken from The Wok and it was good. The perfect balance of heat and sweet. The portion size was good but I wish there was some broccoli or veggies with the meal. I love that there are so many restaurants to choose from and it was very clean. They had a good about of security and police presence which was good to see.
While it's not technically the food hall the area right around there is just like a town square. There's photo op back drops, a grassy area (albeit fake...it IS TX) with cornhole and other games outside and picnic tables. And the giant bigger-than-life screen is a little like Times Square. And the food options inside the town hall are varied and sure to please everyone. The prices aren't insane either. We were there with a group of twelve and there was no problem finding a seat and feeding everyone.
Great spot for various options of food selections! Convenient location for staying in the downtown area! The noodle spot had great bowls, especially with the pork belly! 10/10. My go-to was the Mediterranean place! Their chicken shawarma bowls were delish! So fresh, light, good flavor! 10/10. The pizza place had a long wait each time, but it was definitely worth it! 9/10. Try the churros at the taco spot, so good! 10/10. Mini sliders and tater tots from the burger spot were good! Had good flavor and tots were so crispy, perfect cook! 10/10. The chicken tender spot also had this loaded fries topped with chicken tenders. SO SO good! 10/10. This food hall did not disappoint!
Fun place to get a bite especially with a group as you can all get different food. Outdoor space is nice but very loud most of the time.
Pleasant space wuhh multiple dining options. Good quality, nothing seems to be exceptional.
It's nice, family friendly and seems most people that we there were nice. Based on the amount of traffic that comes by there it would have been nice that used tables were cleaned up quicker which isn't the case.
You order from a variety of restaurants and then find your own seating. The wait ttim3s are long and thee system for letting you know when your order is ready is not good so you have to keep checking yourself.
So even though we went on a Thursday afternoon, we were in town for our daughter’s Volleyball tournament, and it would seem that everyone else was there as well. It was pretty crowded and hard to navigate around and see all that was offered. That being said, what we did get was beyond delicious. There are so many restaurants inside, you could spend weeks going everyday and never have to get the same dish. There is something for everyone. Being in the middle of downtown, parking was a little difficult and be ready to walk a couple blocks. There is additional seating upstairs or outside. It’s definitely bustling with activity, and not a good choice for a quiet dinner. The two bars inside were well stocked, but like most places downtown, were a bit pricey. Overall a great place to stop and enjoy the food, drinks and downtown vibe.
Downtown Dallas.. Food-hall, Food court, cool vibe. Nice selection of Italian, Mexican, Burgers, Seafood, Sushi, just about whatever you wanted. Didn't get to take pics inside too crowded people get kinda weird about being in photos.. There's a huge courtyard where you can kickback or whatever... One of those spots when nobody knows what to eat. You go here ..
One of my favorite spots for a quick but delicious meal. The food is always top-notch, and I love the open layout of the hall. It’s perfect for grabbing a bite with friends or just relaxing alone.
This was our first time going here. We have lived in DFW all our lives (40 years) and never knew this area existed. There was way too much to take in on one trip. There were many places to eat and not enough seating, set up similar to a food court. I had a burrito from Chilangos Tacos, it was good but not the best. My wife had a lobster roll and corn from The Dock it was good but on the pricier side. After that, we had some ice cream at The Spun Cow. I had Gooey Cheesecake with Reeses Pieces topping in a waffle bowl. They made the waffle bowl right there. It was still warm. We went at night and everything is lit up in color changing loghts. The court yard has a giant screen that wraps around the corner of a building. If you have never been here, we highly suggest you take a few hours to check this place out.
We were walking around and found this place. It seems comfortable and we were looking for a dessert, so we choose one of each place. Unfortunately I couldn't find free lactose milk or soy milk to have a capuchino coffe, that what I really wanted. We tryed a crepe and a lemon bar. The crepe was ok, and the lemon bar was extremely sweet. A really bomb of sugar. That's why I give 4 stars. No fee lactose milk and the dessert extremely sweet even my teeth hurt. All other stuff were OK. Very clean and good atmosphere.
It was so nice coming to the food exchange hall. There’s plenty of food options and great fast service. There’s plenty of sitting areas inside and outside. They have an upstairs area as well. There’s restrooms and it’s ac units inside. They all accept cash or credit. Take a walk outside and enjoy the scru
We had Pad Thai and drunken noodles from the Thai type restaurant inside. Portions were large. Price seemed low given the amount of food we got. Taste was OK. Bit to spicy and salty but was not so bad that we could not eat it. Food was given to us in to go type thin plastic covered paper containers with plastic ware. Experience was ok. Would not go out of my way to visit again. Would stop by if I happened to be nearby and was hungry.
I am in Dallas working a conference. We decide to walk to the food hall for something different. What a surprise. A food hall in the city open late with a good variety of food options. I had an excellent Cheese Steak from one restaurant and Clam Chowder from another. One person had Curry Chicken and yet another had tacos from around the world, getting tacos from 3 different restaurants. It was after 8pm so it wasn't very busy. There was a lot a security around, I guess for helping keep dinners safe. We didn't have any issues but it was noticeable. We finished off our meals with ice cream that was very good.
I was visiting my daughter at work and we stopped by for lunch. This is a great place to stop for working professionals; especially those who work nearby. There's a decent variety of choices abs the location is busy and great for people watching or just enjoying the outdoors. The prices were on the high side, IMO, but that's likely to be expected considering it's a very touristy area. Due to dietary restrictions, I ordered a cucumber salad (pic included) and a bottled water for just under $9. My daughter had a curry bowl, at a different restaurant that was over $18! It's a good vibe outdoors if you have time to visit. The inside is just busy, noisy. But there's seating available to enjoy your meal.
It's a great food hall. It's got enough different options for types of food which is nice. You can get anything from birria tacos to pizza to brunch to Thai food or bar drinks. I think it's best for grab and go food versus trying to find a table inside. Grab your food and sit on the lawn outside. It gets very busy at lunch with all the AT&T employees coming over and other downtown traffic but otherwise it's manageable.
We tried a few places in the food court. The pizza was good but nothing outstanding. Drinks were expensive. The small sliders were OUTSTANDING! The Gouda one was incredible. Homemade chips were perfect! Seafood place was not as good as I thought it would be. The seafood fries were a little soggy. The soup was spicy. Tons of seating, clean restrooms, great atmosphere. Workers there were not as personable as one would have thought.
NOTE ON PARKING: Website says free parking with validation but the address they give on 1212 Jackson St, Dallas 75202 doesn’t exist as a Google Maps point. That parking lot was gated up when I visited July 24, 2021, so I had to park down the street for $10, no validation. Went here on a Saturday afternoon, it wasn’t too busy which was nice, lots of open tables still. Food selection was ok, none of the stalls really stood out to me. I ended up getting a savory waffle but even that ended up tasting just ok. I went here just to check this place out but I don’t think I’m coming back.
The place is kind of small. I felt it was hard to find some seatings. However, it was very clean! I did not see any dirty tables and trash area was well kept. I also think the variety of food is also good. One thing to note is that parking is only free at certain times of the day and weekends so make sure to make note of that. We were trying to get into one of the at&t employee parking garages when it's not open lol
This place was empty on a Friday afternoon. We got here on the recommendation of our hotel and whilst the selection of food is great we didn’t think the food was as great as what we had hoped. I had the lobster salad and chowder - it tasted much like frozen lobster. My partner had a salad bowl with carne asada and it was dry and very average.
The exchange bar- legends tried to charge me twice after I paid with my phone. I refused to pay again after looking at my email/amex app which clearly showed the charge went thru. The manager was rude and harassed us for about 15 min after which she took my drink back and my girlfriend paid again. Terrible bar service so unprofessional
I visited the exchange early yesterday morning and ordered a beer at the bar. I had several questions for the bartender while I visited. Her attitude was terrible. She smiled and aas friendly with all the workers there but was very indifferent and standoffish to me for no reason. Therefore I LEFT HER NO TIP. BUT SHE HAS ADDED GER OWN TIP TO THE TRANSACTION ON MY CARD. FRAUDULENT. I WILL BE back down there. Since Noone answers the phone.
