I eat here at least 3 times a week post-workout and the salads are consistently excellent (much better than Cava on value for money). I specially like the consistency of the product and the service from the CS workers as I get a friendly greeting every time. If you order through the app you get a $1 drink! Highly recommended!
I’ve never been disappointed with a takeout order. I haven’t aten inside a whole lot, but their staff has always been friendly to me when I was there! New Salsa Bowl is fantastic, love the jasmine rice addition!
First time here. Over the past eight months I’ve changed my diet pretty drastically. At home it’s manageable; you’ve got your routine, your go to recipes. But traveling? That’s where it gets tricky. I spent a good chunk of my morning scouting out places near my hotel and came across Original Chophouse. After scrolling through their menu and photos I decided to give it a shot. Only mistake? I went during lunch. The place just starting to get packed. Luckily I beat the rush and got in just in time. The cashier, pretty sure his name was Ruben, took my order. I had very specific needs: low carb, low calorie, and most importantly, low sodium. I ordered the Teriyaki Chicken with no sauce, cauliflower rice, avocado, shredded carrots, grilled broccoli, brussels sprouts, and onion. Not entirely sure what my bowl would’ve been called, but whatever it was, it was fantastic. Perfectly portioned, fresh, and surprisingly filling. Original Chophouse just earned a spot on my "Will Visit Again" list on Google Maps. Thanks for helping me stay on track even while on the road. 👍👍
This is a great place to grab a delicious, healthy breakfast with quality ingredients. My husband and I tried the ABC toast (eggs over medium) and the Cheat Day wrap. Highly recommend both. Plenty of seating. Free parking. SMU across the street and shopping all around. Presidential Bush Library within a 15 minute walk.

We ordered from here again today for lunch to be delivered for 6 people. Food arrived warm, packed well with no issues. Everybody’s order was as expected, nothing wrong. This time I ordered the Hot Honey Chicken Bowl and got it just as it comes with nothing removed or added. All the vegetables were fresh, and the bowl had great flavor, I would order this again. Another great experience from here, A+ Original ChopShop! Today we ordered lunch for 6 people. First time to try here. From ordering to delivery no issues, food arrived warm and everyone had exactly what they ordered. I ordered the spicy Korean bowl, ordered standard how most people have ordered it. I am not a big sweat potato fan, but it was actually not bad in this dish. It was very good and loved the Korean sauce that was on it. Portion was good size, we will definitely order from here again.
What an awesome option to have as someone who is always on the road and trying to be more health conscious. I had the chicken teriyaki bowl with forbidden rice and man it was delicious and most of all filling! I feel like the money you spend on fast food does nothing for you in the long run. You could buy a combo from canes for the same price but it won't leave you as filled or taste as delicious as this. Can't wait to be able to try everything they have. Thanks for giving me a healthy option when you just want to grab a quick healthy lunch!
The new (but for a limited time) hot honey chicken hummus bowl was one of the best bowls I’ve ever had!! Very flavorful and very healthy, and I would eat it every day! Please please keep it on the regular menu!!
Did catering orders with them, and they did a great job with our large order that had some changes - really appreciated their flexibility with making adjustments to the orders. Food came fresh and on time. A nice change up from doing sandwiches all the time! Fresh and healthy, lots of good veggies and protein while also being tasty.
My friends and I all ordered a healthy dinner from here. The bowl I had was so flavorful and fresh. All the fruit and granola was so delicious. Everyone else loved their food too.
This was my first time at the original chop shop. I was very pleased with the food and service. Everything was flavorful and fresh. The atmosphere was also very calming and relaxed.My only wish was that there was a closer location to where I live in SW Fort Worth because it’s about an hour away. I will definitely return again.
This is a great place for healthy, delicious food and drinks. I ordered the teriyaki chicken bowl and the cool down fresh juice. Both of them were really good and great choices for my first visit here. This is a really casual spot for breakfast, lunch, dinner or a snack. There's plenty of seating space inside and there are a few spaces outside. The staff is very friendly and helpful.
It’s my favorite place for luncheon meetings next to SMU. I ordered Green curry with Tofu, curry taste was good, quantity is proportionate, need to add more curry, don’t know why but veggies were too dried to eat today!
This place is really not my style or taste, and they should list the bread has sunflower seeds for those with Allergies. Even with that it serves a big healthier food void in the SMU/Park Cities area. My wife and mother in Law loved their meal, but I ordered the Tuna Salad sandwich and received the vegetarian hummus sandwich. Luckily I noticed it had sunflower seeds which I'm allergic to and had to call and ask... Even with all those issues this place, had a great vibe, fresh food, friendly staff and fresh Ice Tea... So while its not for me, its probably for you
I placed a large group order from this restaurant to be delivered (like 30 meals). The food was good, but NONE of the food was labeled so we couldn’t tell what was what. It was a complete mess and very disorganized trying to sort through everything so some people didn’t get what they ordered. I don’t recommend doing large group orders from here.
This is the BBQ chicken chop salad and I was given more lettuce than anything else. My order was for to-go and it was frustrating when I sat down to eat to see that this $11 salad was hardly made up of anything. It’s a trendy concept for eating nutritious meals but wouldn’t recommend coming here for salads.
I’ve been coming to this restaurant for takeout breakfast on my way to work, and unfortunately the quality has gone downhill fast. Today the chicken inside my breakfast burrito was pink and undercooked. Serving raw chicken isn’t just careless, it’s dangerous. What makes this worse is that this isn’t the first issue I’ve had. The last time I ordered, I found broken pieces of bone inside my food. I tried giving them another chance, but the consistency and attention to detail just aren’t there anymore. The staff didn’t seem bothered or concerned at all. It’s a shame because the food used to be good, but it’s clear they no longer care. I won’t be returning, and I hope management takes this seriously before someone gets sick.
