Very good tacos, fast service, great price, they fill your taco with plenty of meat, i had the chorizo and the fajita. Very yummy and the red sauce is spicy but so good.
Phenomenal. Solid. One of the pillars of east dallas. You will not be disappointed or walk away dissatisfied. Go try everything they offer. Support this place like your grandma's life depends on it!
Where can this guero from Wichita start...first I wish there was a place like this near home! Came in and ate 6 steak tacos and left with 5 chorizo flour tacos that I ate in the car! So good, will definitely make sure I stop every time I'm in Dallas! Did I say the chorizo tacos were 🔥?
Food was delicious! It was hot and fresh. They were extremely friendly and took the time to help me when I didn't know what I wanted despite being super busy. They gave great recommendations that my husband and I loved. Definitely recommend trying this place if you haven't already!!
This place is incredible. I travel every week all over the country and eat all sorts of the “best” tacos. Nothing compares to these. The Pastor and Chorizo are my favorites but every single one is good. Don’t expect anything fancy or elaborate. It’s simple but it’s perfect
I love tacos! Since I have recently moved to local Dallas Heaven (East Dallas) , Tacos La Banqueta has been on my must do list. I got the pastor and bistecca on corn tacos, with an orange Mexican Fanta. With tip I spent just under $20. The food was fast, hot, and delicious. The staff were friendly, and the restaurant was clean too. I can't wait to go back!
This place is legit. If you’re looking for some killer tacos in East Dallas, La Banqueta delivers. The outside doesn’t look like much, but once you walk in, the people are super friendly and the tacos speak for themselves. I went with six tacos: two suadero, two al pastor, and two cabeza (barbacoa). The suadero was probably my favorite. Super tender, perfectly cooked, and full of flavor. Easily a top choice. The al pastor was actually my least favorite of the bunch, but to be clear, it was still really good—juicy, seasoned well, and better than what you get at most spots. Just had tough competition from the others. The cabeza tacos were awesome. Juicy, rich, and super flavorful. Definitely worth getting. Everything came loaded with chopped onion and a ton of fresh cilantro, just the way it should be. Now let’s talk about the salsas. The green salsa verde might be the best I’ve had in Dallas. Creamy, tangy, and spicy in all the right ways. I’d give it a slow clap any day. The red salsa brings a smoky heat that’s bold but not overpowering. Both are excellent. Bottom line: this place is a winner. Great tacos, welcoming people, and unbeatable salsas. Put it on your list if you haven’t been.
Been here plenty of times and they never disappoint! The meat is always tasty, cheese always melted to perfection, and salsas on point! The only thing is that it gets pretty warm in there but I don’t mind too much cause the food makes up for it or you can take it to go. The ladies are always nice & polite.
We arrived around lunch time. Parking was full. There was a long line. Mostly customers were Hispanic. That’s when you know it’s authentic. There’s a 3% non cash adjustment fee. It would’ve been better if they had a sign or told us about the fee. We even had cash :/ But the cashier didn’t speak English very well..it was kind of difficult to order as well. The restaurant and the tables were a bit dirty. Regardless, 7 tacos we ordered were SOOOOOOO GOOOOD. I liked corn tortilla more than flour tortilla. I will def come back!!!!!!
The food is ALWAYS delicious!! They offer green and red salsa but the green salsa is my favorite because it's spicier. They don't offer rice and beans though and grilled onions are ordered separately. You better walk in knowing what you want to order if you're going during lunch time. They are always super busy at that time and don't have time for your indecisive self. Lol
This place is a Dallas gem of a taco tour. Don’t let the line inside distract your mission here. Wait it out if it’s too the back wall it’s a 15 - 20 min to hit the window to order. From there the tacos are fast back out the other side. I felt there were about 10 people back there handling everything. Another secret is to call in your order and pick up and eat there. Tacos were out of this world. Don’t mind the decor but don’t be on a diet when you hit the parking lot.

Tacos were OK. I don't like it when counter service places, like this, ask for a tip at the checkout counter without offering any service. It's like fast food counter asking for a tip. They call your name to get your food. You eat off paper plates and you have to bus your own table. Where this place shines is in their tortas. Get al pastor with cheese. The bread makes it a winner.
I've been wanting to visit this spot for years, but I don't visit downtown Dallas enough to stop by. My manager recently reminded me of this place, and I was downtown for an anime convention, so it was perfect timing. The restaurant is a little outdated and dirty, but that's how you know the food is going to be FIRE. The menu was simple and easy to understand. You have your typical street tacos, tortas, quesadillas, and drinks. Luckily, we came right before the dinner rush because after we sat down, the restaurant was PACKED and the line went from one end to the other. The tables were pretty dirty. I'm not sure if the workers wipe them down after someone sits there, but I grabbed some paper towels and wiped them before sitting. My boyfriend and I ordered 10 tacos, each with different meats so we can try them out. I also got a horchata fresca as well, and it was one of the best horchata that I tried. Idk what they did, but the drink was light, and there wasn't too much of that grainy part inside. It took about 10 mins for the tacos to come out, and HOLY SH*T, the tacos were ALL SO FREAKIN' GOOD!!! I loved my typical lingua and tripe tacos, but the highlight was the suadero tacos. I think that's a thin slice of beef, but it was juicy and authentic and they have the perfect amount of onion and cilantro. I regret not buying more of the suadero tacos, and the line was too long for me to get some to-go. I took off one star because of the cleanliness. I usually don't mind but the tables were really dirty and there were flies flying around. I'll definitely grab like 6+ tacos next time for myself because I've been thinking about their juicy tacos for days now. Delicious!!
In terms of the taste, I don't think it worth you go for it from far away. But if you are close, try it

Solid choice for taco lovers The barbacoa tacos were flavorful and juicy. The habanero salsa added a nice fiery touch. A bit crowded but service was quick. Reasonably priced and delicious

Maybe I wasn't that hungry. But tacos were just OK. Small and dry. I paid $20 exactly for 6 tacos and 2 cans of coke. I could have gotten something better. Maybe I'm in a not good mood to put a better review. But you decide if you like it or not
Not bad! After seeing the reviews we had to try for ourselves. We visited on a Saturday afternoon. It was pretty busy but the line moved quickly. The parking lot was packed. We ordered tacos Al pastor, cabeza, Torta and a quesadilla. They didn’t skimp on the meat which was nice. The meat was just really lacking flavor. Everything was cooked great and didn’t take long. The quesadilla was small but for the price is not a bad thing. If I came back I probably would order something else. It was just ok.

I eat here frequently and it hurts me to write this review because i truly love this place. Today unfortunately i was disappointed to order a chicken torta to go, only to get home and barely have any chicken in my sandwich. I have literally had individuals tacos with more meat on it. I feel like i ordered just bread and cheese. Even if you look at picture reviews you see that this establishment is never shy with their meat. Maybe because it was late and business was slow but i have NEVER experienced this before. In the future I will be checking my food before leaving.

‼️Worst taco place ever‼️The meat was burnt, dry, and disgusting. They scammed me by charging for a side I didn’t order, then stuffed it in my bag anyway. When I went back for a refund, the woman caused a scene, yelled at me in front of everyone, and even had the audacity to say that I owed her a penny when giving me my change back. Terrible food, horrible customer service, and shady business practices. This place is a health hazard and a scam. Never again. Stay far away.
Everywhere we go for work we like to try different taco restaurants but unfortunately we didn't like this place. The meats are flavorless in order to eat the tacos we needed to put lime, salt and enough salsa to try to enjoy them. The corn tortillas felt like they weren't warm enough..we definitely not going back.
