Its a typical California eatery with total Cali vibes. The staff is super chill and polite. The food is very affordable, I got a cheese burger,medium fries and a coke for just 7$. And oh my god!! The burger was to die for. Simple , understated by tasty as hell!

I get food from here on a few occasions when at UC Davis. The restaurant is right near the freeway and downtown. Every time I’ve been it’s always busy at the drive through, the parking lot is very tight in addition so I never felt like parking. The food is always good and the staff always super nice. I would have posted a pic of my burger and fries but I ate them.

The employees are very accommodating and polite. Food was AMAZING!

In and Out Burger is the quentisential California experience. We had a double double (double beef double cheese) animal style (grilled onions and pickles) and a chocolate shake. We couldn't do the fries but they are excellent. The quality and the service are outstanding and the food for fast food is terrific.

Updated review on 07/21/2023 Still one of my favorite burger joints. Simple, tasty, clean, and staff are awesome! Be aware that there is one in and one way out at the Davis location. They've roped off the gas station , most likely due to prevent people just cutting through the gas station for easy exit out of the line. This one gets busy especially the drive thru but the staff work really hard to get your orders done, so please be patient. I went inside instead of waiting in line to get to the drive thru, and it's rare that there was no one in line, I got "In and Out" pretty quick. 😉😃 I always order the #1, but with slight variation: Double double, no cheese, grilled onions, extra pickles, + mustard protein style and of course fries for my gluten free carbs! Fried in sunflower oil and never frozen, just fresh cut potatoes, oil, and salt. And I sprinkle a couple of packets of pepper. Sugar free lemonade.

Love having In-N-Out whenever I'm back in California. Protein style (wrapped in lettuce) and animal style (sauteed onions in mustard sauce) for me!

first chance to visit an In-N-Out in many years, and everything was great except for the fries. they looked good but were extremely crunchy, had no softness to the inside. a little bit disappointing for the food to be not as good as I remembered.

Drive thru was very efficient and fast even though there were many cars. Ate at the outside tables which were properly distanced and nice. Great double double animal style and strawberry milkshake

This place was crazy busy, but service was friendly and quick. It looked like everyone knew what they needed to do. Food was great as well.

Like every other In-n-Out in the universe, this location has a fast moving drive-thru line, and the burgers, fries and drinks are top-notch. Try a #2 animal style with a chocolate shake. Yum!

My car started overheating in the drive though and the worker Micheal immediately jumped in to help. He literally pushed my car out of the line and into a parking spot. He was very kind and helpful and even managed to get my my order. Best service I’ve ever had.

I love In-N-Out Burger. I have never get wrong with any In-N-Out Burgers at all. They are so consistent and reliable. I know exactly what I will get when I walk into an In-N-Out Burger. This is my first time eating at the In-N-Out Burger in Davis. The restaurant looks and feels exactly as I expected. Clean, fast, friendly employees, and yummy food. The only thing that could be a problem is their tiny parking lot. It is very busy traffic with the drive-through lane and when I try to park my car. So parking spaces are open but hard to get in because the drive-through lane traffic is there. But I did enjoy my burger and fries. Same good quality and same good taste.

Always good food, a california classic and a must eat once in your life (at least). A lot of student go here and you can make changes to your burger to add extra patties or to try different variations. There is a secret menu but honestly no real need for it. There are three main choices and it makes it much easier to choose what you want and also makes the service quicker.

Lovvve in n out burgers, the fries are the closest you will get to healthy-like french fries. I’ll suggest adding salt and pepper to the fries tho. Also, get the double burger one, just one burger tastes like you are only eating bread (in my opinion). This in n out wasn’t that busy, which surprised me, I went there around 1pm. Costumer service was great like always! Lots of bike parking spots too

Always consistent and always good. Retro style dining room add to a 60s style of hamburger joint but sparkly clean. Food is really good but the menu is small so if you don't want a burger your out of luck.

I've never had a problem here. This In-N-Out has good quality burgers. The edges are crispy and ingredients are fresh. Most of the time there is a line so service gets slow. But the wait isn't more than 15 minutes though I feel like it could be faster. The employees are working pretty fast though so I think they just have a lot of orders. The homeless population though is a big turn off so don't go there alone too late.

The food is good for its price. The staff are kind and responsive. The sitting area does not have comfortable chairs in my opinion and you can't find a cozy place to sit and enjoy your food. It can also get pretty noisy and crowded but that's not necessarily a bad thing.

We were caravaning to the El Dorado National Forrest and stopped at this In n Out for lunch. They were very busy and we chose to use the drive through. Drive through attendant was polite and courteous. We also ordered a non seasoned patty for our dog. I wish I ordered no seasoned too, my burger was too salty and hard to eat, but I was hungry and finished anyways. The shakes were pretty good too.

It felt a bit too high on salt. Also, the bun wasn't as crunchy as I've seen it in some other In-n-Outs.

The place is clean and efficient, good food for a good price. They get 4 stars because I ordered a chocolate shake, but they gave me a vanilla shake- I went back to tell them they got my order wrong and they told me that no it was a chocolate shake but it was just very light colored. But there was also absolutely no chocolate flavor and it tasted like a vanilla shake so I think they got my order wrong and just didn’t want to admit. Parking lot is kind of a nightmare but the rest of the place is good. Will go back.

Always a hit. It's your standard in-n-out burger. The traffic does get a little crazy here and I wish they had a larger parking lot. It's the only one in the vicinity so it's pretty packed in the lunch, dinner, and late night hours. You usually can find a seat inside (or outside). The wait time is average depending on the time. Drive through is a popular option, but sometimes that line can be 15+ minutes and a few short minutes to get your food. The staff are courteous and hard working. If you ever want to see how fast-food should be done- it's In-n-out. The people literally get no breaks, and they work so hard and keep a smile which is quite impressive. As with any burgers, it's best enjoyed within 15 minutes of ordering. I don't need to go time into what they have, but my go-to is a regular cheeseburger (or protein style with lettuce instead of the bread) and grilled onions- it never fails. Enjoy!

Oh, those fries! I’m not usually a fan of fast food, with one big exception: In-N-Out Burger! Whenever I'm on the road or in a rush and feeling hungry, I immediately pull into the parking lot marked by that yellow right-turn arrow sign. My favorite order is a Double-Double protein style, paired with fries and plenty of ketchup. Those hot, crispy fries, lightly salted and dipped in ketchup, are simply amazing! This particular location is consistently a good one because the staff is usually fantastic. They get your order ready quickly and have you on your way in no time—but not before you grab a cup of hot coffee! If it’s late at night and you’ve just had a delicious meal of fries, you might need a little help staying awake for the drive. Fortunately, In-N-Out Burger serves pretty good coffee; it's not fancy, but it’s definitely a solid choice!

Burgers are okay, fries are bad but that's a common sentiment due to the way they're made. Milkshakes are sometimes way too thick, takes an entire hour just to melt. Friendliness of staff depends on who you get, sometimes they're nice sometimes not. Though if you do ask for Spread (the Thousand Island type sauce) make sure to ask very nicely and order more than just one burger because each Spread packet costs the restaurant a lot so staff don't like it when people who have small orders ask for it at the Davis location. Cleanliness is okay, sometimes tables and seats can be dirty, and roaches appear out of nowhere. Occasionally can get sketchy especially at night as Davis police routinely show up here. If you go when it is not busy it will be a lot better than when its packed. Food takes 10-30 min depending on demand, if the inside is empty its still around 10 min, if its packed expect 20-30 min. In-N-Out is known for slow service and long lines so be prepared to wait a bit.

I was enjoying the fries when I ate them indoor but they were a bit dry. I wish I had s milkshake. The burger, I thought was good but it was so small. I'm glad o ordered an extra patty so I can have more meat. I'm from out of town and didn't know what to expect. The meal l was ok until we left and hit the road again. I couoget the bad tastes of the burger out of my mouth. Not sure what they put in it or what was in the fries. I ate some trail mix nuts and still couldn't get that bitter or weird flavor out of my mind. I'm not sure why I thought this play was special a long time ago. Now it just seemed like another fast food place. Hands down, Five Guys is the place to go if you want good quality fresh dinner burger and fries. But. I'd you're just passing through like us and need substance. Remember, the burger slices are thin! The buns are tiny and the fries are tiny and dry so order a good drink and lots of sause 😃

This store is located on a small corner lot, so parking is difficult to get. The line of cars was out to the street at 8:00pm. It moved fairly quickly. The burger was very good, the fries were under-cooked, and the milkshake was small. They did prepare the special order request correctly. Homeless people are often seen at the entrance or in the parking lot, so you may get hit up for a donation.

I’m a fan of in n out but lately I have noticed a change in this particular in m out’s cooking and not for the better. This time I was completely disappointed and sad at what I received. Their needs to be a better system to their grilled cheeses and their overall cooking because, as of lately, the quality of the food that I have been receiving is subpar and does not meet the level of in n out standards. This is the 2nd time this month that I come to in n out and the same thing has happened to me. The first time, I thought they were having a bad night but tonight I confirmed that there is something really wrong with the person cooking. My cheese was not even melted, which is baffling because it’s called a “grilled cheese” not a “cold cheese sandwich” and I hardly had any grilled onions. The lettuce was soggy and warm which I’m confused about because the cheese wasn’t even melted. The fries were also so undercooked they were still white. The only good thing was the shake but I definitely don’t think that I nor any of my vegetarian friends will be returning to this in n out. Very sad to throw hard earned money away and food away. Shame on you in n out.

This location is very very slow. Slowest in n out I've ever been to. Not sure if they are poorly staffed or just poorly run, but it takes 20+ minutes to get food even with no line. And if there is a line good luck. This location needs to get it together
