The food is great, the price is fair, and very kind people. Me and my girlfriend came and she tried something new but unfortunately didint like it. We asked if they can switch for something else and they only charged us for 1 meal. Love coming here and hope people try this place out
My parents have been ordering take out from here every Friday for the past 3 years. It never disappoints! The staff is friendly, our order is always ready within 25 minutes, and it's always delicious.
Hibachi was fun and it was easy to make reservations. Sushi was amazing, definitely will come back!
Delicious food, super kind people, great place all around!
The service was great everyone was nice and we got our food super fast and the food was amazing
Hibachi has their own atmosphere. Nice, quiet due to time of day. Lunch is from 1100 to 3, Dinner is 3 to 8PM. Arrived at 4PM, no wait. Note Hibachi requires 2 personnel.
Such a wonderful spot!! The food is always amazing and the hibachi chefs we've encountered are top notch and have such a talent!! Even as an adult I'm still mesmerized by the stuff they pull off while cooking. This is now my son's new favorite place to eat, even if he doesn't want to catch the food they toss lol. We will most definitely be returning!
I love coming to Mt. Fuji! The food, service, and staff are 10/10. I usually get the chicken and shrimp hibachi with chicken tempura as an appetizer. The service starts with miso soup and a house salad—I love them both! The miso soup is very tasty, and the house salad comes with a delicious ginger and carrot dressing (I believe). The hibachi show is great—the egg flipping, the volcano, catching the vegetables, and of course, the sake and baby sake! It never gets old. The sake here is truly original (if you know, you know)! I’ve been to other places, but the sake at Mt. Fuji always tastes the best. I’ve also tried the mango margarita, was great This place is perfect for kids and birthday celebrations. Every time I’ve been here, there are usually seats available. A few times, I had to wait for a table, but never longer than 10 minutes. However, it’s always better to make a reservation. The owner is very friendly and always greets each customer with a smile. The staff is also welcoming and attentive. Hopefully, on my next visit, I’ll get to try a dessert! The take out food is great . Same bug portions and favour unique . Once again favorite place ever. 4/29 i came back and this time I got the bear Gelato... what a cute surprise asíde from been cute. It's one of the best ice cream I had. Chicken tempura was good and the hot sake. Every cheff have their own sparkles ✨️ the owners are very friendly and always approach their customers with a smile. The whole team is amazing. Is always great to be back. Feels like home
Superb first visit. Loved that their hibachi comes with both soup and salad. We had a few special rolls - Red Eye Dragon and Out of Control were superb. Kids gobbled their California and Alaska rolls. The hibachi came with free fried rice, and optional noodles. Scallops, shrimp, and filet mignon were cooked perfectly - tender and seared. Would love to come again.
Extremely fresh, well prepared sushi. Rolls are not overloaded with rice. You can even taste the quality of the food in the soy sauce. Hibachi is also very good with entertaining chefs. Only thing is if you are looking for a quiet place for sushi, this isn't it. There's too much fun going on at the hibachi tables.
If you eat here, GET THE SUSHI PIZZA. It's the most amazing invention on the planet. It's warm, has seaweed and avacado on the inside melted together by cheese and topped by amazing sauces and caviar. I'm in love I'm seriously in love. The staff is likewise very courteous and professional. Beautiful atmosphere.
Not Benihana... Food was good, the restaurant was cold, the soup was not hot. Unfortunately a nice hot cup of soup would have cured the cool overhead breeze. The " chef" was way off on his distribution of food, the fried rice went mostly to the first four and by the time it reached us, our portion was cut short! Same with the veggies. AND then there was a obvious favoritism going on as the filet mignon was offered to that same family of which was not even ordered. ( Very nice) The chicken and shrimp, the chicken and steak, and the lobster tail and filet mignon we ordered was all very delicious except the" steak" which was tough. Even water refills were passed over us! Sorry to say our overall experience felt slighted, took away from the total experience you expect to get at a hibachi restaurant, and something we're used to getting at Benihana' s, unfortunately! Probably just a " chef" not working at his best, but either way it should be noted. Hopefully it was an isolated incident, so give it a try to see for yourself...
I liked this place. It is small though and you need to make a reservation. The food was excellent and included fried rice if you did the Hibachi which I appreciated. Our chef wasn't the friendliest but he did entertain and kept our kids engaged. The managers were very helpful in ensuring our large 10 person party was seated and had our own table. The waiter ensured that the person with allergies at our table was taken care of properly as well and took all percussions to ensure their mea was prepared properly. We may come back if we are int the area again!
I came home to see my parents for the holiday and I decided to take my mother to this hibachi restaurant that was about 10 to 15 minutes away. I came here last year and got small appetizers and sushi and the food was pretty good however, today it was a complete 360 Long story short I felt like the service was OK. She wasn’t that warm and was very quick with her interactions. We came not too long after they opened and both my food and my moms arrived lukewarm. We got hibachi but sat at a regular table instead. Even the soup was slightly cool. I asked for to go boxes quickly so I could go home and heat/cook it again. I asked for another spite and I saw we were charged for the refills. Very weird I’ve never been to a family friendly restaurant where the sodas were $3+ and not free refills . Ugh!
I feel like this place used to be good. The salmon roe (ikura) sashimi was sour and had a film over it. The rock shrimp tempura was rubber and over fried. I’ve had fried shrimp from street fairs that tasted the same. They argued when I told them my experience and still charged me. I’ll never be back and you shouldn’t either. Try Ginza or Izumi in Levittown - both incredible choices for food, atmosphere, service, and price - and only a stones throw away.
I ordered three tuna avocado rolls but I was extremely disgusted. The tuna was very mushy, not fresh and covered in oil. When I picked up a piece it was dripping oil. I have eaten tuna a lot and have never seen it like this before. I called the restaurant but they were ambivalent and fine to eat, which it was not. I had to throw it out. Edit to owner: I did call back, which I mentioned above, and I was told it was ok and the abundance of oil is normal, which everyone who has seen the photo agrees the oil was excessive. I order this all the time for myself and my office, but after this customer experience, I can no longer support your establishment.
