Forbidden Yogurt

This is my favorite place in Del Mar. it reminds me of being a child and I come often. Mr and Mrs Lee are also so amazing!!

Mr and Mrs Lee are simply the best. This is my favorite kind of family business. Nothing beats this froyo on a sunny Del Mar day.

Mr. Lee is an incredibly personable man, greeting everyone with a smile. The place offers all the expected toppings. I chose the strawberry flavor since it has no added sugar, and it was quite satisfying. I had mine without any toppings. I took a picture of my son’s girlfriend’s treat, and she left nothing in her cup, so I assume she enjoyed it thoroughly!

Even more amazing is now they must actually take over the "self-serve" part of frozen yogurt making. Fill the cup and then add toppings of all kinds, all while listening carefully to people expressing their wishes for an extra gummy worm or double chocolate chips. Please - if you are a visitor or a local, respect these amazing people and wear a mask as they have asked. They are working for you, it's the least you can do for them. They are cherished friends in our community and are now staying open so we can all enjoy frozen yogurt on a warm summer night.

Was skeptical about it initially because there wasn't much business, but after eating it, it was definitely worth the 4 dollars I spent. The frozen yogurt was nice and cold and was perfect after a sunny day on the beach.

The tart, watermelon sorbet, and cookies and cream were good. The pistachio was not that good. The fruit toppings were fresh and sweet. Guy behind the counter was nice.

Oooo lala! Big o' macaroons with ice cream in the middle? I'll take a dozen please! The strawberry shortcake ice cream on a stick was delicious but I thought it was way way too soft in the center. The moment you break its white chocolate shell the strawberry ice cream in the center starts dripping. The cookies and cream macaroon sandwich was my personal favorite! and the red velvet ice cream sandwich was perfectly sweet! I will be recommending this place and returning as well! With a great abundant of ice cream and sorbet flavors, make sure to ask for samples such as their "Beer pretzel!" There is a $5 minimum but Im sure you'll by past that... haha Beware of for long lines!

A pretty local yogurt shop. There’s a variety of flavors, priced at 53 cents an ounce. There’s also a selection of toppings. The flavor of the yogurt is mixed, some were okay but some weren’t. It’s not the highest quality but is fine for a snack or dessert.
