An upscale location for family events. Steak and lobster were great and the wait staff were really attentive. Atmosphere is great!
We went to Papa Nick last night and were lucky to have Ado as our server! We made reservations through Facebook messenger, so we did not have to wait, although there appeared to be plenty of seating. Our table was next to huge windows overlooking a beautiful grassy hill. Ado took our drink and appetizer orders and brought our bread, and he warned us that service might be a little slower due to them just opening and working out issues. He also told us that everything, including the bread and sauces, were made in-house. We had bruschetta first. The bread on it was a little thickly cut, but it was homemade and delicious. I ordered the Papa’s Pasta, and my husband ordered the filet. We both had salads. My pasta was great - you choose your noodles (I chose penne, per Ado’s recommendation), and it came with red sauce, chicken, and garlic bread. The steak was high quality beef cooked to a perfect medium rare. We didn’t stay for dessert this time, but we are looking forward to coming back soon and trying them!
Staff was super friendly and quick. Great food and great experience. Will visit again.
The food was the best on the planet. I will aleays eat here and nowhere else. I have found my favorite Restaurant.

This is by far one if the best restaurants we've had in Texoma area at least in the 14 years I've lived here. I had the NY Steak with mushroom sauce and shrimp. My sides were asparagus and double baked potato. I was impressed with degree of attention placed into the plate. From the seasoning, to the cooking all the way to the presentation. Having been in multiple localities around the country I can say with certainty this place is high end and at very affordable prices. Chef even came to me and introduced himself! Very, very happy to have stopped here for our anniversary.
My Husband and our friends went to Papa Nick's Restaurant last night on a whim. I was so glad we did. I had the sirloin steak with asparagus and Agrautin potatoes. I was very pleased my steak was seasoned the way I like it. My Husband and friends had chicken fried steak. It was so tender, they cut it with a forlk. They really liked it. Great atmosphere too!!. The waitresses and waiters were dressed like an upscale restaurant. It was a little pricey, but was well worth it. I am glad we have a great date night restaurant in town. potato po
Very nice, upscale restaurant with peaceful wooded views thru the floor to ceiling windows. I enjoyed a very peaceful Sunday brunch, which is not a buffet, but order off the menu. Generous portions. I did not order it, but the chicken fried steak came highly recommended by the waitress, so I will try that next time.
This place is Amazing. I got the chicken fried steak and it melted in my mouth tender with baked potato and cooked to perfection fried okra. My husband equally obsessed with his new York strip steak with mushroom sauce, asparagus, and twice baked potato. The chef even came out and greeted some of and it spoke volumes as to the passion he has for the food he serves and this restaurant.
Excellent food and service. It’s upscale dining without all the pretentious nonsense. Both of our meals were great and the portions were big. Very nice place with a quick and courteous staff. We’re definitely going back soon.
Love this restaurant. My husband and I have eaten all over the world and this restaurant is much nicer than many we have been to. The atmosphere is fabulous. Very upscale which we love but with a homey feeling as well. The food has always been delicious. Although I did find it a bit too salty. Don’t forget you can always add but can’t take away. Also I had a problem with one of the dishes and they were so apologetic with the owner/chef serving me a new plate and apologizing. We truly love this restaurant and hope it stays for many years. The staff is superb!! It truly is all about the customer. *****
Just had a wonderful dinner at this new restaurant. Positives: Our calamari was quick to the table, wait staff was sweet and very attentive. We all ordered different steaks at different temperatures and all came out perfectly. Hostess managed wait times and seating appropriately with a large crowd waiting. Negatives: Mac and cheese was good, but not hot. Swordfish was a little tough. Overall, congratulations to the owners for taking a chance on Denison. Happy to see another option for dinner. We will be back.

First time we have been here. We ordered the specials, Blackened salmon with shrimp and Lamb chops. Very good. Waitstaff polite, prompt, and knowledgeable. They are having a free thanksgiving dinner just like they do at their cafe downtown.
Wait staff needs more training on menu. One didn't know how to pronounce baklava and ours thought she was being extra sweet by heating mine up. It turned into a mushy mess. Prices were average to high, but servings were large making it worth the price. Calamari appetizer was good. They used a cornmeal coating that made it nice and light. Chicken a la France was good, but pasta over powered it making it bland.
The good: The service was great! Margaret, our server, was awesome! Manuel, the host, was extremely helpful and friendly while setting up the reservation for our group. The restaurant is very clean and appears to be recently renovated. The prices were very reasonable. The Calamari is out of this world. I have never had calamari with so much flavor. We all ordered steaks & all except for one was overcooked and dry. The rest of the food was good. After reading multiple reviews regarding the overcooking of the steaks, if management pays attention to customers, they would make changes in the kitchen.
Prime rib very good, enjoyed fried mushrooms and fried green tomatoes. Our waitress was splendid. Relaxing "backyard" view through large windows. Decor - bare. Everything was tasty but wish they had a larger selection of sides with items such as squash or broccoli/rice casseroles, black eyed peas, etc. Entire staff was very friendly. Wife and I enjoyed a relaxed meal and will return.

Very delicious. Attentive wait staff. Beautiful scenery. Would never know how beautiful inside from its location. Menu could use a few adjustments but I wasn't disappointed.

Food was excellent, service was okay... our waitress was super sweet and kept our glasses filled, brought everything we ask for, etc... but we kept having to pass things down the table because she didn't walk around the sides. There was no one seated near us so it wasn't a matter of space. Maybe she's new? Maybe additional training would help?
I was not impressed with my stroganoff. It was salty and I couldn't even finish more than 3-4 bites. My husband said his steak was okay if bland. The marinara was bland too. Definitely extremely overpriced for quantity and quality. Nice atmosphere, but I won't be going back until the food quality matches the prices.

The wait staff are great and the restaurant itself is nice. The food was not good. My husband had the potato and beef soup and he loved it. He also had the chicken Alfredo. His Alfredo sauce was mixed with spaghetti sauce. It was good, but not a traditional Alfredo. My meal is where we had the problem. I ordered a ny strip. I asked for rare. I got medium. I didn’t send it back because it’s not worth the wait. The steak had a very strange taste. Almost sour afterwards. It was chewy because it was over cooked. I couldn’t eat it after three bites. The baked potato wasn’t bad but the fried okra had no flavor. They don’t season their items. And we were told all the sides were made from scratch every day. The okra was from a freezer. I have no doubt of that. Again, the wait staff are great but the food is not worth it. I would rather pay the same price, get half the portion, and have phenomenal food than what I experienced today.

Salad was half black and slimy, asparagus was yellow & definitely old, the baked potatoes weren't cooked all the way and the steak was way over cooked... dad, aunt, & husband ordered medium rare and the steak was not even pink. Mine was medium and should have been sold as beef jerky. The shrimp was definitely twangy(not sure why) and the bathroom floor was so sticky it took effort to pick your feet up from them being stuck. Staff was very polite but food should have been half the price. For steak house prices I would expect half way decent steak.
