Their menu has great variety, and almost all of their dishes I’ve had — both ramen and non-ramen — are incredible!! The karaage curry don is the best thing I’ve eaten on the Square. The staff are always attentive and kind to the customers. Overall, their service ranges from kind of quick on a BUSY night to ridiculously quick on any other night. The prices are totally reasonable, too. I highly recommend getting one of their Japanese beverages to round off your meal; Ramune and Calpico are top-tier. I don’t drink, but they have saké and Japanese beers, if you’re interested in that. By far, Hanabi is my favorite restaurant in Denton!
After having a roller coaster of a day, I decided to come here to eat because it’s always caught my eye on the street. I was helped immediately, my server was so nice. And then I get my food, and it was absolutely delicious. I almost cried (maybe cause my day, maybe cause I’m pregnant) but ether way omg. Will. Be. My. New. Spot.
I was so glad I finally checked out this spot; the atmosphere alone is fantastic! It has a genuinely cool vibe—perfect for a relaxed dinner, especially if you snag one of the comfy booths. The entire experience was made even better by the staff, who were consistently friendly and attentive throughout our meal, ensuring everything was served hot and fresh. I tried their brilliant Half-and-Half Ramen option, which is a perfect way to sample a couple of their top offerings, like the Kara Miso and Black Tonkotsu. The broth was flavorful, rich, and had the perfect amount of seasoning and spice, making it some of the best ramen I've had in a while. It’s clear they put a lot of care into their bowls. But what really blew me away were the smaller plates. The sweet and spicy chicken is absolutely incredible and a total must-order—I could honestly visit just for that! Their takoyaki and the chicken karaage were also delicious and perfectly crisp. Everything was fresh and very flavorful. If you're vegetarian, they also have some great options, including a delicious curry and a vegetarian ramen. This place is consistently fresh, flavorful, and a great time. I highly recommend stopping by; I'll definitely be back soon!
Everything was fresh and very flavorful. They have a half and half option to try 2 different ramen choices, which I had to try. We got several different small plates like gyoza, fried rice, and chicken karaage and all were delicious. Staff was friendly and attentive. Glad we stopped by!
I had a good dining experience here with my brother recently. Service was efficient and the food was decently priced. I ordered a half tonkatsu half miso ramen which I found very interesting. I’ve never been to a ramen shop where you can experience two different ramens in the same serving dish. Both ramens were delicious. My brother ordered a the shoyu ramen and he liked it. For appetizers we order the fried gyoza and the shrimp shumai. Both were very good. Though we were able to be seated at a large table with just the two of us, I would recommend to the owner to have more 2-4 seater tables instead of having to large 12 seater tables in the middle of the restaurant.
Went on a Sunday afternoon with friends and got seated immediately. We ordered Age Gyoza, Chicken Karaage and Shrimp shumai from small dishes and everything tasted so good, especially chicken karaage, I just loved it. Then we ordered Tokyo Tonkotsu, Kara Miso, Tan Tan Men and Chicken Teriyaki Don. We all loved what we ordered, left happy knowing that I found a good ramen place which I can visit again! Friendly staff and great service as well!
Absolutely delicious food and for a great price! If you want to pay 20 dollars for good and filling food then definitely go here. Service was very nice and quick as well. 10/10 btw,, 20 dollars was with a main meal and an appetizer, both came out quick and tasted delicious :) would and will go again!
My daughter’s eye has been on this place for awhile now. When I rolled into town to visit, she decided to take me here to finally check it out. After walking in, we were immediately greeted and seated. There is a barcode on the table that we scanned to view the menu. They have a variety of dishes to choose from for everyone. We ordered the fried rice as an appetizer, and boy let me tell you, the fried rice is poppin… it’s very flavorful and delicious. My daughter had a spicy bowl of Ramen, and I initially had a bowl of Curry Raman. The Curry Raman was very flavorful, but the broth was very thick like gravy. I really tried to like it, but I just couldn’t get over the texture after a few bites. I never like to make a big fuss when I dine out, but I just couldn’t eat it. Reluctantly, I asked our server if I could exchange my Curry Ramen for the Veggie Ramen. He was very kind and understanding about it. My Veggie Ramen was piping hot and on the table within 5-7 minutes. It had a very unique, earthly flavor to it. After a few bites, I couldn’t eat anymore of it. However, my daughter tasted it and loved it. She said she was going to take it and eat it for lunch the following day. The restaurant was very clean and the decor was pretty awesome. I really felt transported to Japan while we sat and ate. Staff is excellent, responsive, friendly, and service is fast. My daughter absolutely loved this place and said this is her new hotspot. Highly Recommended!

Everything I've had here is delicious. This place is a go to favorite. The atmosphere inside and top notch too. Highly recommend the gyoza and karikara chicken.
Food and service were both excellent. Nice clean restaurant. Was different type of Asian food that we were use to but was well prepared

Ordered Ramen here and asked if the pork could be taken off of it due to dietary restrictions. The waitress adhered to my request but failed to inform me that there was also pork in the broth. I didn't find out until I went back and the waiter told me. And unfortunately for me, that was pretty good Ramen. The eggs were also amazing. But I think they are also soaked in broth with pork in it :(.
Place looks and feels cool, food is underwhelming. Your place has ramen in the name and the best things to eat aren’t the ramen. Their sweet and spicy chicken is amazing, ramen is very ok, the meat in the ramen feels like its just boiled and unseasoned when thrown in it, no broiling it no seasoning. Broth feels rushed. Beers are a bit overpriced unless you go in happy hour, their takoyakis are really good. Just don’t expect really good ramen if you’ve had amazing ramen before.
I’d like to say that the service was great. The hostess and the waitress were exceptionally nice and hospitable. As for the food, well sad to say it’s lacking depth. We’ve eaten here twice and it been the same each time. The broth is just flat, no real flavor profile. The meat is not even grilled or torched. The toppings are also pretty sad. I’d be willing to pay more for a better ramen.
This used to be good but the past year or so it has gotten BAD. The meat is absolutely foul. The amount of noodle given is insulting. How is it coming straight from the kitchen COLD??? My boyfriend works LONG days and wants to get some ramen. Is this really what he deserves??? NO. YOU DON’T KNOW HIM LIKE I DO. HE DESERVES A GOOD CUT OF MEAT AND PLENTIFUL NOODLE. This is wrong. All wrong. Treat others the way you’d like to be treated. Put some HEART into his bowl! DAMN IT THIS PLACE MAKES ME MAD WHY CAN’T IT BE LIKE THE OLD DAYS
The interior feels like you're in Japan. The eggs are perfectly cooked, not half-boiled. The meat isn't even seasoned or torched. The broth is made with MSG extract. The poorly managed beer tastes like vinegar, if not sour. The noodles are sticky, like rice cakes. This is one of those ramen places where you can enjoy ramen with dozens of extracts.

Watching them microwave our dishes wasn't encouraging. We ordered the karrage don and miso ramen. The chicken was greasy and rubbery and the miso broth tasted fishy and foul with overcooked noodles…
What kind of place does not allow me to have What I want because they can't do the two half order to go... dine in only? It's what my partner wanted! I wish there was an option for 0 stars Because you absolutely deserve it. If the customer wants something in order to make the business deal, you should cater to what they want. .. putting the orders into separate bowls, would of been suffice.
Seating was nice and the ambience was good but that was about it. The server was alright kind of all over the place though he seemed new but I won't hold that against him. That being said it is not good Ramen in my opinion. Way too much oil in the broth. My partner and I get Ramen pretty consistently and the amount of oil in this broth made oil the only thing you could taste unless you made it spicy. I'm sure it's someone's taste kind of ramen but it's definitely not ours. I've had great ramen worth the price but this is not that.
