Food was delicious and the dishes look very nicely set up as well. Miso soup was so good. The gyoza were so full of flavor. Spicy tuna sushi was amazing and exactly how I liked it. Look forward to returning again!
Quick, delicious, and friendly staff! Satisfied my sushi craving!

Amazing food. I tried the house salad with Calamari, and shrimp fried rice and the beef fried rice and I was amazed on how delicious the food was. I was so Amazed that two days later I had to place another order and this place is highly recommended. Better than Sushi Mike's, sorry guys. They have odd hours but the food always pays off. If you are in the area, give this place a try first and trust me you will not regret it. Yummy.
I love this spot for lunch. 3 rolls with miso soup n salad (ginger dressing). I just wish they would offer the salmon avocado roll online.
Wow my favourite sushi in all of Dobbs Ferry... thank God Sushi Mike's was closed so we could stumble on this hidden gem.. Thank you for the fresh nourishment and the dedication to your food. :)
Sushi Niji is a dark house in Dobbs Ferry. While it’s branded as a Japanese Sushi place they have some excellent other Japanese dishes such as their Pork Katsu and selections of Donburi Highly recommend trying something new here!
Excellent little Japanese restaurant in the heart of Dobbs Ferry. Used to come here in high school and still love to go 10 years later.
If you live in the area and love sushi this is the place to order! Great selections and great food. Delivery service is fast!
First time trying after a friend’s recommendation. We ordered five plates. Wow. Loved every bite. Their food is fresh and delicious. The vegetable gyoza was the best I’ve had. Warm reception at the front counter, even for a take out order. Tucked in the middle of one of the quaintest blocks in New York. Can’t wait to go back.
I love this place! Are they a little on the more pricey side, yes, just a bit. But when I'm in the mood for some delicious sushi, I immediately think of them. One of the things that I love is there Philadelphia roll, where most places I go to use avocado, they use cucumber, and I think it makes it taste better.
my favorite hidden gem. LOVE everything From the appetizers to the bento boxes to the sushi. 10/10 every time.
Ordered the lunch special; Rainbow roll, etc. The miso soup was tasty, perhaps a tad salty, but good. The Rainbow roll was fresh and delicious! I would go back.
I love this place. I’ve gotten take out here every few weeks for many, many years, and every time it’s wonderful. The people working there, especially the woman who has run the counter and I think has managed the place for all the years it’s been open, are fabulous. Times when I get sushi it’s always good, fresh, nice, basically as it should be. Lots of rolls, all of them tight and clean (I like the California roll because I’m basic and I seriously love imitation crab, no joke). But mostly I like “kitchen food,” like the gyoza, the rock shrimp tempura (just those two with white rice is enough for me). The black bean salmon is really good too. I’m so glad they’re still here in DF.

I rely on reviews when trying a new restaurant so I was really expecting a nearly 5-star experience given average ratings were 4.7. But in reality the sushi and service were really quite average so my 4-rating is being generous. I eat sushi often and know the difference between ok (3) and amazing (5) and my intent is simply to be honest for the next person. Price was in line with what you get. The fish was fresh but the wasabi was unnaturally green. Service was fast but there was only one other guest there at lunch when I arrived. I found parking just down the block.
Accommodating service but the food- none of it was particularly good. Steak wasn’t the greatest cut or quality. Chicken was flavorful enough so perhaps that’s the star of the show. Tempura wasn’t comparable quality to other places in and around NyC at a similar price point. Ginger salad was decent, fried rice was mediocre. Unfortunately nothing impressed enough to have me want to come back but that’s as a non sushi eater so I leave 4 stars because this place seems highly rated by those who enjoy sushi and I don’t want to significantly impact their rating for something outside of their namesake.

Food was okay, the gyoza was not as good as I expected and came out slightly soggy. My boyfriend loved his lunch but would eat anything put in front of him. I got 2 shrimp & avocado rolls that were delicious and fresh. The ginger salad dressing is spot on!

The 4.7 rating must have been from family and friends. We had old avocado in our rolls and the other rolls smelled fishy when there was no fish in it. The hibachi dinner was a joke. It was tiny, not $26 worth of food. If you want to stop faking and take a lesson in success copy Dai Sushi in Pleasantville. Sushi Mike’s, unfortunately you’re not that much better than this place. Be honest with yourselves and be better. Disappointed.

The rolls are decent but small. The delivery times are high (45-50 mins vs 15-25 at out local place, Umami). The second time we called to order, we were put on hold for ten minutes and then hung up on. We called back, but the staff didn't really care. We will be sticking to Umami.
Just horrible service. Don't go.
It arrived quickly; however, the sushi was bland. Then they kicked us out seven minutes after their closing time, and on top of that, the fish were staring at us a lot.
