McDonald's in Weslaco, TX, is always busy, and you can see why burgers and fries are awesome and staff of employees are very efficient in taking care of their customers.
I went to have breakfast with my husband and teen kid. Low and behold they were packed. I think they made a small mistake but I was having a terrible day. I let them have it, I was rude and inconsiderate. Thy resolved my mistake and apologized. They never raised their voices, they let me rant and were very patient about the whole thing. They were nice, and understanding. I think that is what kept me from having a full nervous breakdown when I got home. I apologized and left. The place was clean and the people were amazing. The apple fritter was yummy! Thanks you!
The dining area was open late, so we enjoyed our food hot. Only complaint was the floor, where we sat was sticky due to spilt drink. Place was very busy so I didn't complain.

To be a McDonalds this crew here is amazing, great customer service. I stopped here after a long drive and just wanted to stretch out a little and get a quick bite, I walked up to the counter and after I placed my order the girl at the register asked me if it was gonna be "take out or dine in", I looked back at the dining area and I was amazed of how clean this place is so I quick replied "dine in!". This McD is great, everyone here is friendly.
We stopped for coffee. service was quick and the coffee was fresh & hot. Don't get the negative reviews. They were super busy at drive thru & Re open 24/7.
I live at Victoria Palms Resort and you are so close. We don't have internet so I eat here for lunch and pay my bills using your free internet. Thank you.
The 2 for 6 deal was awesome but it gets confusing with traffic and how they slit off for second lane. It's one lane that slits off before the ordering, but somehow people had just decided to create there own lane outside the printed line. Needs correction
This is a nice restaurant to eat at every once in a while. Good food for a fair price. Now, I would get off to order my meal because the drive thru is usually always clustered up and full. Sometimes, depending on what you order, it can get a bit pricy but honestly worth it for the good food.
Eh well... They were quick I guess. Pretty hit or miss cuz of all the franchising. I worked hard at my time at McDonald's and I messed up a lot. People don't appreciate the speed at which these folks pump out sandwiches. You try making a burger in 1 min. Made out of frozen meat. It's gonna take you a couple hours. So stop whining and eat your good inexpensive food.
It's McDonalds. Not at the bottom, not top shelf, just adequate. Lots and lots of people at peak hours, hardly a place to park due to long lines at the auto service. And if you park... good luck trying to get out.
I find it funny that the sm Ice coffee is the and size as the med reg coffee...on the other note. The kids there are doing their best 👌. But they could look a little more busy when there's a two lines across the parking lot. I walk inside to avoid the lines and they all look bored 😴. No offense it's an observation. 🤌 love my coffee tho
I'll give this mcdonalds a great shout out even tho they had issues with intercom on drive thru the lady was nice enough to repeat everything to me before I paid. I even requested fresh batch of nuggets and they were perfectly made to order fresh and Hot. So thank you!. Will come back to this location as long as my orders are as asked I'm good. But fix the intercom for them McDonald's they do have issues both ways them on it and us ordering she couldn't hear either...
Always get my order right, sometimes they slip up but i see it as, well its a fast food place and if they miss something, they dont hesitate to get what was missing to you hot and fresh. I always check my bag before leaving, its a habit that saves me a trip at any fast food place.
This is a very well ran place. Orders are always correct, plenty of napkins in the bag and food is prepared with care without smashing the food. The only thing I can say negative is it’s always busy but they have plenty of staff always working anticipating the demands.
This MCDonalds is friendly and has the good McDonald's menu available. Excellent service ... trying hard to satisfy their customers. We go here often, and like it. Four stars
Restroom wasn't clean. I understand that it's not the employees fault, it's the people's lack of culture or principles; however, the employees or the manager should be checking regularly. Oh, and be careful with the entrance door. Other than that, the food was good.

I went to McDonald’s hoping to get my sauces for the amount of nuggets that I had ordered but the workers were telling me that they were out of Buffalo sauce and a truck would supposedly come on Monday since they were completely out, fine I’m fine with that but just to make sure I asked another worker and just as I l know it that kind fellow came back with the sauces I should’ve had much earlier tell these workers to quit with their tomfoolery and shenanigans but rather focus on the costumers satisfaction Instead of slacking off.
The worker in dtive thru needs to be more friendly...you go up n ur saying order n all you hear, "what else"...she should suggest. Made feel like I was rushed .. I think they need more training...
Worst experience at a McDonald's... 2 drive thru lanes open, I'm waiting to place my order and meanwhile 2 others from the other lane get helped first. Drove to the 1st window and explained what happened and was greeted with attitude and rude personnel. I placed my order and then it was incorrect. Again, attitude and rudeness. Once I received my correct order, the manager slams the window shut!! What kind of customer service is this?? 😡😡
I recently just attended this location (I live in town) and the staff advised me that I was not able to get a fountain drink because the machine was out of service (No big deal I chose chocolate milk for my Happy Meals) Then I come to see 5 minutes into my visit, that everyone was grabbing coke, and powerade from the same fountain machines that they claimed were out of service. I am pretty sure they lied to me because of my looks.
Order wrong the majority of the time. You would think-okay I’ll use the app so they can READ the order correctly. But no, even with the order information taped to the bag, they manage to get it wrong. When you call they give you attitude. Stating If you want your money back you have to bring it back today. This is probably one of the worst mcdonalds in the rio grand valley. Always give real little fries besides constantly getting orders wrong and dont offer anything even tho your foods gone cold.
Placed an online order at 10:14am for breakfast. I got there at 10:24am to pick it up but when I got to the voice box they said they cancelled the order because they stop serving breakfast at 10:30am even though they had already charged my card. I placed the order well before 10:30am so for them to cancel my order before 10:30am basically says they don't care enough about the customer even though I've been spending my money there for years. Horrible customer service. The point of an online order is so they can have it ready by the time you get there instead they decided they didn't want to make the food and cancelled it. Rude!
Never ever will I come to this location. Waited over 20 minutes for an iced coffee Not even letting us know that they are having difficulties with the machine just having us wait there outside while cars kept passing by. None of them know customers service. This is a fast food place. Even Starbucks makes there coffee faster than this.
Being a customer here, I was put in a uncomfortable feeling/situation today. This young boy was waiting sitting, when I’m guessing the manager (a man) was in another table and instead of approaching the young boy of his reason for being there, the man started talking loudly questioning the kid in front of all of us customers. The boy wanted an interview, and the man just simply did not show any professionalism or care for him and simply just cut him off. Really not necessary to be loud across the room for others to hear, and only put me as a customer in a bad space.

Went inside as another customer service complaint was being made from the first person in line. The shift manager puts his jelly in my bag. She needs to understand that items exposed to the countertop can't be reused. Then we both exit to the parking lot only to be blocked by the customers in the drive thru. Both vehicles couldn't exit parking lot. We ate in our vehicles to avoid loss of food temperature. Got out to talk to the General manager about traffic problem observed. He does not know what to do with problem, because he stated that every location had different ownership. Simply stated, avoid this conflict by not going back. Hope the actual owner can do his homework to fix what the Manager can't.(replacement).

I do not like the new kiosks. Wait in line to order, wait in line to pay cash. Waited 10 minutes and approximately 10 people standing waiting for orders, not one order came out in that time for any customers inside. Drive through cars backed up to the street. Worst system ever. I cancelled my order, got my money back and left. I will NOT be going back for this kind of wait. There are other places to eat.
Came to my local Donna McDonald’s and as I placed my order I asked for a separate order Cashier give my attitude said they don’t do separate orders as I asked why she said cause her manager said so ! I was like what do u mean u can’t do. Separate orders why if I have done it many times . She advised they have a new manager he said no separate orders . They need to hire people that can read and follow simple orders. Multiple times missing food, miscommunication between employees, and employees fail to do simple tasks
Location was closed for dining in because of meeting. They didn’t offer alternative I told them I couldn’t go throw the drive thru because I’m a truck. I didn’t get a apology for the inconvenience. That would have made feel that they care about my business. Disappointed

My order was wrong after I told the drive thru lady taking my order twice to put only one patty than to have told the lady at the cashier about the problem she said she'll fix it. To have come all the way home and to find out that theres 2 meats plus seems like somone put tomatoes than took them off of the burger that was a big concerning. The Managers for that place should keep an eye out for that because thats very unsanitary. Really bad day of ordering mcdanalds.

We waited and waited at the drive thru with very minimal movement for over an hour. Staff should be more courteous and let their customers know there is a wait or that something is wrong before letting us order especially because its a fast food restaurant. To make matters worse we could get out of the line and go elsewhere we were literally stuck. Sad to say we left without food. So disappointed ☹️
So today I went to McDonald’s and went through the drive through and my cousin orders her food but the lady wasn’t even responding so I started to order and specifically asked if she had got her order and no response. So we kept asking helloo waited 2 mins for a response to say “is that it?” And even when I said my order. I pulled up to the window and asked if they had gotten my order and had two pull up two windows just to say what I wanted horrible service DONT COME HERE!!

Poor management was true three years, two years, a year ago and still true today. Doesn’t know “supply and demand” always out of stuff and their machines are always broken. Plus, you need to order in Spanish and keep it very simple.

Worst McDonalds in the entire valley -and it’s not even close. Crazy long wait times at night because management tries to cut labor costs by not hiring enough employees. Result is 1-2 hour wait in the drive thru. Go spend your hard-earned money at Whataburger across the street. McDonald’s doesn’t value your money or your time.

Again they can't seem to follow simple direction and I specifically heard the employee who took my order, verbally let the other employee who made my frappe know to add extra drizzle on bottom and top of cup!!!! I'm eating burger king right now and am remembering how sloppy McDonald Fry's are, they give them to you as if they where free Fry's. They're usually always soggy and reheated in this location, for the price I would at least like my Fry's to be fresh. The burger king Fry's come on top . They're tasting sooo good right now. And the burger is delicious. Also it's considered fake advertising when they're showing a picture of the strawberry cream pies on order screen and they never seem to have them. Which was the only reason I'd go to mcdonald in the first place.

This particular location is not worth the effort. The burgers all taste the same, there's no use in giving them individual names because they lack any distinctive flavor. They ask you for your choice in sauce, like they are actually going to grant your request and then when they take forever to bring you your order, they do not check to make sure its complete or that they DID indeed put in your sauce. Never again.
These restaurant sux big time been here several times .talked to management still no change ...I would closed it down,or fire all the workers and management and get new people...
Employees, amazing work at working under pressure. I visited during a rush to order a simple meal. The manager (or so I think he was) was being loud and rude to an elderly customer by telling him to hurry up and order. I was in disbelief. He then started yelling at his Employees, who were doing their best, and he was the only one stressing out. My respect for the people working there. Not so much for the boss.
They do not know the terminology to expedite orders. I was at curbside and I had to go in to get my own order after 35 min of waiting. The kids are on their phones and are just playing around. They do not clean up the drink station much less fill it with ice or syrup for the sodas. They’re like scratching their heads trying to figure out the orders that need to be processed. If you tell them, they look at you like you’re speaking some other language. Lol What happened to the term “fast food?” Seriously. Update July 2022: I tried it again bc I was nearby. Not a surprise, they forget some items from my order. Can these people be audited by the food chain company. I mean this happens often. It’s so frustrating bc we pay for food and only get partial orders.
Stopped on my way to the airport at 4:12am waited for 30 minutes, was told order was almost out. There was only one car ahead of us that ended up leaving without their order. After finally getting the manager to come to the window and cancel our order we left. Almost missed our flight by 5 minutes. Never again! If 2-3 employees can’t handle one order then they shouldn’t be open at that time, get extra help, or advise their customers of the wait time.

If I could give them zero stars, i would. Worst. Take-out. Experience. Ever. We placed a mobile order and waited an hour just to receive 3/4 of our burgers messed up. We asked for 3 plain burgers with mayo online and it was like that on the receipt too. We take the bag back (had an order of nuggets in the bag too) and told them what was messed up for the order. We then wait another nearly 30 minutes for them to fix the burgers. The bag was missing the order of 20 nuggets so we had to wait even longer for them to give it back to us. You thought I was done? On top of that, they didn't give us a coke we ordered and also forgot an order of 4 nuggets. This isn't rocket science, it's mcdonalds but somehow this location can't figure out how to put an order together if the world depended on it. By the time this nightmare was over, the food was cold.
If I could I’d give a 0 star. They ALWAYS take longer than they should. Had ordered takeout for a large ice coffee.. took more than thirty mins. Ordered at 6:46 didn’t get it til 7:16. It’s ridiculous at this point.

I guess. It's just my luck that Everytime i come here they forget something. Fries, ketchup for the fries along with napkins. Even when I thought I'd treat myself with an ice coffee from your Rewards program you didn't have ice. Ice I tell you. Some reward. I guess it was free. They have no ice cream no frappe’s no caramel macchiato. They could at least put a sign outside so people don’t waste their time waiting in a slow drive through line to order things that are out of stock!

Today is a Friday why would I be in a line for 45min to 1hr before even getting my order placed, I call and she says there is 2 people working tonight. Multi billion company . Cars are just driving off while in line. Horrible horrible service experience. & I feel like it’s all purposely so cx can leave the line.
Once again I got proved that McDonald's is always in a rush and never gets your order correct! They gave me everything wrong in my order the McGriddles didn't even come with egg and cheese just the sausage my steak and egg bagel ended up being 2 biscuits with bacon egg and cheese which was not in my order... idk who runs this place but they all need training because apparently they get everything wrong!!
went in this morning for a breakfast order i placed at 6:30, i wanted to pick up curbside. when i arrived at the parking their mobile app glitched and didn’t let me input the curbside number in. i waited around 15 minutes then decided to call to let them know and the girl over the phone sounded rude about my experience. i didn’t catch a name but a girl with braces then came out to hand me my order but still continued to be rude, she even mentioned to help me check the app but stayed quiet when she saw i was right. VERY BAD CUSTOMER SERVICE!!!! they should be more understanding about THEIR damn app.
I would give this place zero stars they take for ever in the drive thru they don’t even greet you when you get to the speaker you literally have to say hello they hire a bunch of lazy kids that have an attitude and don’t pay attention to what you are ordering I hate coming to this McDonald’s all the time but my daughter loves McDonald’s so every time I go I have to take a deep breath cause I already know it’s going to be a problem with them Donna McDonald’s needs to get on the ball
Unfortunately, order is always incorrect. Missing items from order and they never add your sauce. Seems to be done purposely but this goes for all locations. 40 piece nuggets, no sauce is crazy. And basket of fries missing. It’s always something wrong with the order and it’s hard to get ahold of anyone for it to get fixed.
For one McDonald's u need to hire ppl who know how too count money, don't put a cashier ther thst cant count money, it's like putting a cook that doesnt know how too cook but then again ur McDonald's it's possible u all are capable of doing that. Your alls customer service has gone down the toilet.
The food was good but the drink I ordered was a sprite and I took a drink out of it and the sprite tasted wack like really bad and I told them and they said they can’t do anything about it and this lady isn’t the first time they’ve done this
There was only one drive thru attendant being petty and only attending to the right lane. We waited as three cars passed us in the line and once we were finally attended it was a lazy worker. You could hear it in her voice, she did not want to be there. It wasn’t out of exhaustion, it was direct boredom.She kept making us repeat our order and once we got the food there were things missing. I understand it might be a faculty issue but it seems to be a reoccurring problem.
We waited for 35 min in the drive thru around 1130pm on a Sunday for 2 drinks. They got my drinks wrong...We went back and i knocked on the window so I didn't have to wait for another 35 min..and was ignored by the manager, not once, but twice. We had to get in line again and wait 20 min..for my money back...When the manager saw me at the drive thru, he walked away and I had to ask for him. Never again . They need to improve on accuracy and customer service . Awful..
Made a mobile order at the time I usually do and when I arrived do pick it up Jasmine and Michael who claimed to be the manager said it didn't show up on their screen because it was down. And to come back later to pick it up. And the refund would be automatic. This location is one of the worst location always something with them. It was 2 am. Breakfast doesn't switch over at that time. Now I have to wait 3-7 business days. I will be complaining to corporate. They were just too lazy to make the order. I say this because we sat at the drive-thru and had to call because they let us and another car just sit hoping we'd drive away.
Very disappointed and bothered about this mcdonalds. Ordered a McMuffin thru drive thru and it took them a good 15 minutes . Had to go inside to argue about my sandwich and there response was they were waiting on the egg. Really it takes 15 minutes and then they give me attitude I work in retail too and believe me if i cant find or do what they need im polite about it.

Good evening guys welcome back to another restaurant food and service review. I appreciate you reading this as I rate my experience . I do give this place 1 star this evening, there back up on orders and very unorganized . No one has attended me since I got to the 2nd window, and do not have my order ready. Been in line waiting for the past 20mins very unsatisfactory service. Hope this message finds confronting to those who wish to visit this restaurant in the future.
Even when you make sure you tell them when ordering to give you ketchup packets and napkins they always forget. They dont even ask you if you need any condiments when picking up at drive thru window. They just hand bag and close window right away.
We had gone for breakfast and ordered the big breakfast with hotcakes. They forgot the hotcakes. When we went back to ask for it they said it wasn't breakfast anymore (it was 10:35, breakfast ends at 11). After mentioning that it it ends at 11, they said there was no more. But when we asked for something else they suddely had some. After getting our pancakes, we open the box and there's literally pepper packets spread out all over, gross ew.
Horrible service, got home just to find no meat but bread. Called and was told I would be given 2meals free, just for them to want to charge again and give horrible attitude.

Soooo slow here, 8/17/25 I came back here, and the employee who served me was almost completely mute, or hungry, and didn't even want to talk.. and with her bitter face. I wanted to give a second opportunity, but is impossible, everything was cold too. Don’t come here please.
Went to this location about 5 minutes ago and waited 10 minutes in drive thru and they told me they were closed due to maintenance. They are supposed to be open 24/7 absolute disgrace they should fire the manager in charge, will call corporate to complain!!!!!
Literately the worst McDonald's experience ever. Waited in drive thru for five minutes. Then went inside to ask why no one was working lane. Ordered inside just to wait another seven minutes. Didn't even have my order correct because everyone working there is either horse playing or socializing. Left empty handed. Will never return there even though it's literally two blocks from My house.
I ordered food & they refused to give Me my food for having a $100 bill 💵.... I am a highly disappointed customer Me being from Donna, Tx. I will Never Ever come back to this McDonald's branch again. It's not my fault banks refuse to only give me $100s. Money 💰 is money, I can't complain to banks when they don't have change 🤷🏽♀️ For this reason I got Jack In the Box today
I'm not a person to complain, but i just came home from this restaurant. I ordered in drive thru, and i told the lady i wanted to get the deal for the McValue choices for a double cheeseburger with no onion/pickles/ and mustard and for the 2nd item for $1 i wanted the fries. She asked what size of fries i told her the size it comes for the $1 deal. I repeated myself 3 times, i go to pay and i excuse myself because i had to yell fries 3 times so she could know what my 2nd choice was. I pull up to pick my order, i look at my receipt and see i got charged $3.09 for the fries. I asked the lady at the window to verify first by showing my receipt, if the 1st lady took my order right. I explained the Mcvalue meal deal and she says that the deal is over. I tell her that the signs are literally there where you pull up in the drive thru and on the phone app, i show my phone to her and says that i have to buy 2 burgers to get 3rd item. I tell her no, that ive ordered before at the app and you get to choose from the options on the Mcvalue menu. She still is confused, i tell her that its fine to go ahead and give me my order. I was keeping the line up, and both girls didn't even know what deal they have going on, its not about the money since its just a few dollars, but its about being able to get the deal.
If I could leave a 0 star review right now I would 😐 I love going to this McDonald’s cause it’s close and the workers have always been nice and quick. Today I went for a quick meal which I placed online and when I get to the drive thru I see they added new pies so wanted to try them but the employee gave me an attitude over the speaker cs I had ordered online which I clearly then said separate order . When I get my food the sauces were wrong and they only gave me 1 pie when I had ordered 2!
Ordered thru mobile order and asked for a double quarter there was no people, it was not packed at all and yet they manage to mess up order and make it a single smh and then we take it back and they wanted to just add the missing patties lol 😂 so they remake and what do they do they make it messy as hell smh !! so advice to customers , dont complain because they will do it worse
