OMG if you ever drive through our little big town of downieville you have got to stop and try their food! This place knows how to ruin anyone's appetite cuz guaranteed you come hungry and you'll be glad you did cuz they have great food. 100#

I don't particularly care for burgers, but this place serves really good ones! When we come to visit, I always have a burger here now .... really TASTY!! I have also enjoyed their salads and sandwiches. This is a wonderful place to stop after your adventures in the area. Give this small business all your support - they are outstanding!

Went to Downieville this week on business and once finished, we we're hungry and decided to take a chance on a very scenic restaurant for lunch. Wow we're we in for a surprise and wonderful time. Michelle Lozano-Sahan our server was great and fun. The salad and pizza, well, it's a far drive from home, but I'm sure we'll visit again. The chef, he was fun also.

The best burgers and chicken sandwiches around. the employees working there went out of their way to take care of us, even one day they had just closed and the Cook went back in to make us our burgers excellent service. One of the best places in Downeyville.

This place was amazing the food was amazing the service was amazing 😍 it's open for business I was there today I love it I plan on going back I highly recommend you take the trip and experience it you will not regret it ❤️

When you read this, please understand I love good food and service, and I am retired after 56 years with KFC, both corporate and 32 years as Director of Operations for a multi store franchisee with locations in 4 states. It was past lunchtime, and I saw the Two Rivers Cafe. Not real busy being middle of the week and some lunch people were leaving. The manager was the person duty and was really on top of things. Very pleasant, and I ordered the grilled chicken sandwich with fries and a drink. Even though he was also cooking, my food was almost instant. Tables were bussed immediately. The manager was a whirling dervish. The sandwich was the best chicken sandwich I've ever had. That is saying a lot. Bun was fresh, avocado ripe, lettuce and tomato, and onion fresh. The sandwich was so big I ended up asking for a knife and fork. Because of my profession, I notice things like the soda machine being properly adjusted and the excellent fries were cooked in clean oil. Great job and a 5 star stop for me.

Ordered a bacon Cheeseburger and fries and let me tell you that was one of the best burgers I’ve had in a long time. Service was fast and friendly. Restaurant was clean and plenty of room to sit inside or outside if you choose. And you really can’t pick better views. Will for sure be stopping here again, and you should too!

The back patio is tiny so try to beat the lunch rush to get this epic river view. I give this cafe 4/5 because although the food was very good, the menu is TINY. They serve burgers, beer, and pizza + 3 salads. Naturally I love all these so not a problem for me, but not sure they can accommodate all food allergies.

This place is too amazing to let it go the way it's going. I eat here often since it's local, but I hope the quality improves. Being served an expired beer makes me wonder what I'm eating. 🫤

Both my wife and I had the same reaction to our burgers: looked amazing, so had great expectations. But, for whatever reason, they looked far better than they tasted. They were not bad, just lacking in flavor, period.

This place is always closed. Unfortunately the people who bought it also bought the store and the gas station. They have completely destroyed Downeyville. The poor people of Downeyville have no place to buy groceries because now the grocery store is a gas station filled with candy bars and shelfstable drink drinks. And now one of the only restaurants is forever closed, bringing tourism further from Downeyville. I truly hope that you read this and move from Downeyville and never return.
