The GOAT burger and crack tots were absolutely delectable. The chicken was incredibly succulent and the perfect coating. Gary was such a friendly and helpful waiter, and Emily couldn’t have been kinder. Honestly everything was quick, high standard and the perfect casual dining experience with friends just minutes walk from bustling city centre 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟
The food was amazing! The brownie is one of the best things I’ve ever had in my life. Had the burger and crack fries, so good too. Meng was a lovely waiter & explained the menu well to us. Can’t wait to come back here soon!
Incredible food! I had the Wild Thing bird (burger) and Chicken Salted tots. The tots were quite possibly the best I've ever had. The burger was just as good. Perfectly fried chicken and the sauce in the soft bun worked perfectly. It was all good I finished off with an order of "Love me my way" tenders, with Comeback Sauce and Jalapeño Hot Sauce. The Comeback Sauce is a mayonnaise based mild sauce, and the Jalapeño sauce a rich tomato based Jalapeño hot sauce, complementing each other perfectly. Highly recommend.
What can I say about this place other than wow ! We stumbled upon this place on our first visit to Dublin and so glad we did we come back a few weeks after to Dublin purely for mad egg ! Great selection on the menu to choose from with mains(burgers) tenders and sides plenty of choice . Both times we have been here we knew what to expect and was not disappointed food was so fresh full of flavour and portions were massive ! I don’t have a bad word to say about here my only regret is not trying the build your own cheesecake dessert but I sure will next time . I wish they had made egg in the uk ! A hidden gem off the Main Streets of Dublin City
First time here and I must admit it was so nice. The staff were lovely, service was quick the place looked great and clean and the important thing… the food was heavenly. So fresh and tasty. The tenders were the best ones I’ve ever eaten. Definitely will come back again and try more off the menu
Amanda and Andy were AMAZING. I have been going to madegg for the last 2-3 years and I have NEVER been disappointed. The goat and loaded fries are the best thing on the medium but the burger alone can make you full. The service was lovely, waiters have never been mean and only kind and happy to do their job. On the chef side, my food has never had anything wrong with it, always served hot and always served good.
Went in today with my sister and we had a fantastic meal served by Emily! The food was perfect. Nice, hot and flavourful giving us a satisfying meal. The overall atmosphere was great. Thank you Emily, Amanda and Catalina!
The food was really amazing!! The classic OG burger was a bit bland to me, not a lot of sauce or salt, but the GOAT was really tasty. The fries are truly amazing, both the regular or sweet potato ones were great, and the loaded fries were really worth it! Charred cob was also delicious, but I suggest to ask for salt. Although the garlic flavour was not so present. Also, great service :)
A great place I found while searching for supper. There's a lot of shitty places with the same menu's in Dublin and this place was a refreshing change. Food was some of the best chicken tenders I've ever had and the vibe was upbeat and staff were all very friendly. Go eat there and you'll be happy.
Delicious food, excellent friendly service. Chicken was super tender! Would recommend!
This is such a fantastic choice for Chicken lovers! Everything about their food is just too good. The chicken tenders we got were flavourful and tender. The dips were absolutely gorgeous and the potato( tator tots) is a must must try. It’s worth every penny you spend if you love chicken. They have dessert options as well if you have sweet tooth!
Everything was perfect and the food was delicious! I really recommend this place
Finding a great vegetarian burger can often be a challenge, but I have to say, this was hands down the best I’ve ever had! The flavors were absolutely spot on, and it truly exceeded my expectations as well my BF loved his GOAT chicken burger 🍔 A very special shout-out goes to Meng, who made our experience even more enjoyable. From the moment we walked in, he was incredibly attentive and kind, ensuring we had everything we needed. He not only treated us with the utmost care but also recommended some of the best items on the menu. His suggestions were perfect. Thanks again , will definitely visit soon !
The fried chicken here is super awesome. I have tried the Nashville hot and my partner the Nashville hot with waffles. Both are great. The chicken is so crunchy on the outside and juicy on the inside. I would recommend a side of tater tots with it.
Great find in Dublin for fried chicken and tater tots 😋
It was super jucy and delicious. The staff is super friendly and helpful. The portion sizes are generous and filling.
Great comfort food. I had the largest chicken sandwich I have ever seen. You get so much food you don’t need a side. I can definitely recommend the Nashville chicken sandwich if you like spice! Pretty fair prices for the city Center too:)
Can't fault my visit in any way. The food was great, very well prepared and tasty. We ordered a variety of burgers, chips and tenders within our group and all was perfect. I would particularly recommend the chicken burgers and sweet potato fries. Their cheesecake is like an urban legend by now but it is indeed worth the indulgence. The staff were friendly and accommodated some requests for switching ingredients.
Amazing food and people. The food was so goooooooood :). I highly recommend! Forgot to take a before photo but here is a after pic lol
I ordered chicken tenders and my friend ordered the goat burger, and might i say both orders were terrific. Great taste and the staff were friendly and accommodating. The ranch is €2 and not very good, so I wont purchase that again.
This place must have the best tasting chicken in Dublin for sure! Tummy filling food bursting with flavour. Revisited again for a dessert, loved the DIY cheesecake for a bit of creative fun. Always worth booking at this place as walk ins during busy times could take a while. If you enjoy top quality chicken then I'd recommend this restaurant for sure!
Amazing food highly recommend! Lovely staff very friendly and welcoming. Nice and clean Highly recommend trying the honey baby burger and the chicken salt fries
Our first time there- we were seated quickly. The waitress came over took our drink orders and explained the menu. They have an awesome chicken sandwich and wife enjoyed the chicken tenders. The chicken is fresh not frozen and lightly breaded and moist. The sauces taste home made- fresh, tasty and full of favor. The service was attentive and willing to change or modify your order. The tater tots are heavenly- lightly fried, airily and cooked perfectly. This place is a MUST try and will become hooked. It’s delicious and yummy. We will be back.
First time here after getting lots of recommendations. On a very rainy Wednesday in mid November, most tables were taken - always a good sign. I got the Nashville hot burger and chicken salt tater tots, and the special beer they do. Everything was delicious, served quickly and piping hot. Very messy burger, which I do enjoy, the kitchen roll on the table was definitely needed. Jenny and the rest of the team were friendly and welcoming and seem to enjoy their work. Will definitely be back
Had some really lovely food, 100% recommend the waffles and fried chicken, excellent flavours and very filling. Wonderful service from Meng, thank you for making my Dublin trip special!
Meng was the nicest server ever. He was really kind and always gave us attention when we needed something. And yeah it’s thanks to him that we had a wonderful experience at madegg.
I went to Mad Egg for lunch and had an amazing experience. I was served by a lovely girl called Amanda, who made the visit even better. She recommended the honey chicken wrap, and it did not disappoint! The atmosphere was calm, and the food was really good. I’ll definitely be back to try other options.
Absolutely Top Notch! The best sit down meal I've had in months, the chicken burger was unbelievably juicy and tasty. Crack Fries and Tator Tots were lovely as well. Plus we had a bottle of beer too top it off👌🏻l. And Gary our waiter was excellent Highly Recommended.
I’ve been here a few times and every time it just gets better! The chicken is so good, crispy on the outside and soft inside, you don’t even need a knife to cut it into pieces. The service was never bad, but Andy was absolutely amazing, outstanding customer service, always checking on us and making us feel as comfortable as possible. If you come here once, you’ll 100% be looking forward to coming back!
My friends and I were hungry after work so I recommended Mad Egg as a decent Friday feed. I had it two years ago and remembered it being really good and that was for takeaway. We decided to eat in and Jenny our waitress was nothing but eager to ensure we’d the best experience possible. There was a big order put in between the three of us and nothing was missed and was brought out fairly promptly. Portion size is huge and well worth the money. Will be back again!
Called in on a Monday lunchtime. Not very busy and atmosphere suffered as a result. The guy who welcomed us explained the menu very well and was friendly and helpful throughout. Ordered: Love me Sweetie Tenders Love me Raunchy Tenders Crack Tots Food came out promptly and we both enjoyed our food. It was the right amount for lunch. Tasty, reasonable and good service!
I recently had lunch at The Mad Egg and had a pleasant experience. The staff were friendly and attentive, adding to the overall enjoyment of the meal. I tried the Sweet Stack meal. Chicken crispy, bacon tasty, honey butter interesting .The waffles were a bit too sweet on their own, but they paired well with the chicken and honey butter. The loaded fries were good, and my friend had the OG burger, which was generously portioned. Drinks arrived in about 5 minutes. While the prices were a bit high, the quality of the food was good. Our meals took around 15-20 minutes to be served. I appreciated that each table had a roll of paper towels, which was a nice touch. Overall, I had a decent dining experience and would recommend The Mad Egg.
It’s a bit pricey for fast food, but definitely worth trying. The place has a fancy vibe, and the food is excellent. The waitstaff are friendly and helpful, which adds to the experience. However, it’s a bit disappointing that there are no set menus, and the fries are expensive for such a small portion. That said, the quality makes it a worthwhile treat!
Mad Egg has a fantastic menu. They have waffles, burgers and chicken tenders. I enjoyed the Nashville chicken & waffles….they were sublime. They have cheesecakes for desserts which are really delicious as well. The staff is really sweet and the service is fairly quick. You have seating both indoors and outdoors but the restaurant is usually quite busy. Interiors are interesting too!
Unfortunately, our experience was a bit mixed. The Tator Tots Chicken Salted tasted great, and the Love Me Sweetie tenders were delicious. The Nashville tenders, however, lacked flavor, and the Crack Fries were quite disappointing. Not sure we’d return. The service was lovely, though.
We were the hungriest girls alive and couldn’t wait to eat, the tenders and the burger were enjoyable, the fries were less than average , but we had the world’s worst dips : the barbecue sauce tasted like vinegar, there was no taste of cheese in the dripping cheese dip , the only good one was the garlic mayo sauce. It’s worth a try that’s what we’ll say.
Dropped in for a bite to eat when in town, we were greeted by a lovely, friendly staff member who was very accommodating to us and our baby. We got a few bits to try but it’s not an overly in dept menu. The burger was average, the mac n cheese was nice, the loaded fries were very punchy on the garlic and the chicken tenders tasted watery when eating which also lacked flavour. Overall it’s a bit pricey for what it is but it was OK. Not sure if I’d hurry back.
Turn around for a table was quick. They are very fast in cleaning / clearing a table, but does not rush you to finish. The food takes a long time to come out. From ordering to getting the food, the total wait time was 25 minutes. It is not a quick bite restaurant. The chicken is flavorful but was a bit dry. The buns were very greasy. We ordered the Nashville chicken and the flavor was overall good. The right level of spiciness.cant go wrong with fried potatoes!
The chips are really generic and for the price I would expect a bit of salt the children tender is not that. Good especially for the price in my opinion overpriced for the food they give out wouldn’t come here again the burger really saved the meal it was great
Okay first of all I will say the food was great, it tasted so good, I was excited thinking about going back. The service was okay, one of our dishes were forgotten and we had to ask for it and we were not asked how the food was or anything. Unfortunately I ended up with food poisoning, this was the only time in the day I ate anything so it couldn’t have been anything else. The chicken looked cooked also so I’m not sure what exactly it was from Mad Egg that gave me the food poisoning. I reached out on Instagram and got no response (likely unseen rather than ignored) big massive let down as I was so excited.
I GOT LOADED FRIES AND IT LOOKED LIKE SOMEONE BUSTED ON IT. I COULD NOT EAT IT THE GARLIC MAYO GLOUPY AND CHEWY AND THE PARMESAN WITH MOLD AND HAIR ( SEE IMAGE BELOW) Menu is extremely inappropriate and makes me feel very uncomfortable. For example , one option was called “side chick” which really undermines woman and how far they have come over the years . I did not get any feminine energy in here. Food was greasy and unhealthy. Not suitable for family’s.
Ate here for the first time. Probably my last. The burger was nice, yeah, but the pricing is absolutely insane lmao. The portion of chips is tiny as well. EDIT: Actually, changed my mind and switched to a single star because I remembered they encourage tipping even though they charge extortionate prices and staff are paid at least minimum wage.
