June 2025. Best distillery tour I've ever done. We did the flavours tour (tour, mix your own drink, apres cocktail at the power bar). Very reasonably priced (25 euro) given what you get (tour + 2 drinks!). Andrew was our funny and informative guide - wish he would talk faster ;-). 20 minute tour of the distillery, 20 minute cocktail class and then a house cocktail at the powerhouse bar. Modern yet historical atmosphere. For those not yet familiar, Roe & Co is an up and coming Irish Whiskey brand made right in Dublin. It is well regarded by aficionados (the bar keeper at the Church highly recommended). I highly recommend their standard blended with some very nice light peach / citrus / christmas spice notes - my favorite Irish Whiskey blend, but they have a wide range of varieties.

Had a great tour and tasting here. Isaac was a witty and informative guide, telling us a little of the old George Roe & Co. distillery history, before taking us through the basics of mixology, flavours and tasting. We made some gorgeous cocktails then headed for a drink downstairs. Good fun and good value. Would recommend.

Roe & Co was so great on our first visit that we had to go back again later in the trip. Highly recommend doing the tour. We got to learn about how they make whiskey but also got to experience mixing drinks based on our personal likes. The bar and service there are excellent. Erin gives a great tour so be sure to watch for when she's running it.

Good place to stop for a drink. Pro tip: Don't get the whiskey taster but instead get a full pour of each of the 3 whiskeys in the sampler, and for the same price. The sampler pours are not full size.

What a lovely experience! This was my favorite of the distilleries. I felt like I learned the most here and also had the most fun. The staff is really welcoming and Isaac was really friendly during the tour and workshop! The tour was interesting and fun. We learned about different types of cocktails and at the end we got to make our own.

We’re so glad we stumbled upon Roe & Co on our stay in Dublin. It’s right around the corner from the Guinness storehouse and was the perfect spot for a couple drinks after our Guinness tour. We didn’t do the distillery tour (although wish we had after learning a bit more about the history and partnerships!) but had a whiskey flight and a few cocktails. Everything we tried was amazing, unique, and flavorful (especially after many days of drinks in pubs). The vibe is really cool and cozy and all the staff were so friendly and had great recs!

If you love cocktails, this is the place to go. Their menu is creative and incredibly delicious. I also enjoyed a whiskey flight. The bar itself is super chill, a great place to relax. The shop is extensive, and they wrapped my set of champagne glasses well enough that they survived 3 flights in a checked suitcase.

As part of Guinness Storehouse experience we added Roe and Co cocktail flavors class. I am so glad we did. I learned so much in such a short time. I’ve always loved umami flavors but never thought about doing a umami based cocktail. Loved it. The experience in the bar was made more enjoyable by all the cocktail bar and restaurant recommendations we got from the barmaid. If you are a novice at making cocktails this is a great way to learn. Oh, and the Roe Whiskey was wonderful.

Did a tour elsewhere because the tour description on their website isn't great (doesn't say you get to see the distillery or try the whiskeys neat outside a cocktail which you do as we learned from the knowledgeable and friendly bar staff). Went there after another tour to have a look around their store and have a flight at the bar and we're glad we did. The building is the old guiness powerhouse (which fits since roe and co is now owned by diageo which owns guiness as well) and you get a good look at both the distillery and the old powerhouse from the bar. Tried cocktails and a flights and liked the whiskey as well as the cocktails. They do not only offer whiskey, flights and cocktails but also boilermakers (whiskey + matching beer). So if you are in the liberties or the golden triangle go there for a tour or a quick drink at the bar at least.

Would definitely recommend if you're looking into food and drink culture in Ireland and in particular whiskey. Erin was a very approachable and interactive guide during my time with her as part of a training initiative group. It is worth paying the money to visit the distillery, considering it's less than 30 euros for a whiskey tasting along with being able to try another cocktail at the end of the tour. As this distillery is overlooked (possibly due to it being quite new), there is still plenty of availability to book tickets.

In 2024 we tacked this tour onto the Guinness tour. It was the end of the day, we were tired and kinda done, even considered not going. Holy crap am I glad we did, it ended up being our favorite tour of the two weeks across the country. Just an absolutely lovely time, great tour guide, the tasting and pairing was exquisite. I still go out of my way to find their whisky back home just because they gave us such a wonderful time. It was so good I am still thinking about a year and a half later. If you are in Dublin please make it a point to stop by and support these folks.

Truly one of the best distillery tours I’ve had! Tim, our guide, was incredibly informative and funny. Our group was very small with only three people, so the whole experience felt personal and genuine. The blending/pairing portion was the best part and unique from other tours I’ve done.

Wonderful whiskey tasting and cocktail experience for our group of 12. Luke was terrific, very knowledgeable and engaging. Would recommend this tour when visiting Dublin!

First off, hats off to both Isaac & Miguel, the humour, the depth of detail and overall passion to which they were speaking of was insane! As reps of Roe & Co? Golden! The agenda? Back to back tours, which also meant a lot of whiskey, no complaints. Really enjoyable, learned a lot about the history of Irish whiskey, how to make a cracker of a cocktail and how to enjoy barrel whiskey as someone who would rather jump infront of a bus than drink it before trying the tour! Everyone is so welcoming, very wholesome experience.

We came across a TikTok of this place and decided to give it a go on our trip to Dublin, and it only exceeded our expectations! All of the staff we dealt with were so polite, friendly and gave excellent service. The building was beautiful and full of character and the tour and cocktail making session we did, hosted by Oisín was fantastic! It was great value for money and we’d say it’s a must do on your trip to Dublin. Thanks again to all of the team for an excellent experience.

I've been to this distillery after visiting the Guinness Storehouse with the combined ticket "Beyond the Blend", that costs 75€ in total. We were just 3 people attending the tour so following our guide (I don't remember the name, maybe Andrew) was much easier. In the first part our guide explained us the history of the distillery and the details about the production process of the Whiskey. In the second part we made a hands-on workshop on how to create the perfect cocktail with three different types of Whiskeys and other ingredients. The experience was really pleasurable and a good value for money.

At the beginning of December, my husband, my son (who lives in Ireland), and I were there and participated in this wonderful experience of visiting the distillery. We were accompanied by Miguel, whose kindness and dedication made our experience even better. It was so interesting to learn about the history of Roe&Co, to be able to make our own drink, to taste another drink that was offered to us, and even to buy a souvenir to always remember this day. We loved it, if you go to Dublin, you can't miss it!

I visited Roe & Co Distillery in Dublin with my partner, and we were incredibly lucky to have Tim as our guide. He was absolutely fantastic—passionate, funny, and extremely knowledgeable. His love for the job shone through the entire tour, and he made the history of the distillery and the craft of whiskey-making genuinely exciting. My partner is the true whiskey fan between us, and this experience made him so happy—he was literally beaming the whole time. I’m not usually into whiskey, but thanks to Tim’s explanations and energy, I walked out with a real appreciation for the flavours and the process behind it. Tim also went above and beyond by taking an incredible movie-like shot of us, along with a beautiful photo we’ll definitely treasure. If you’re visiting Dublin and want a tour that’s fun, engaging, and full of amazing stories, I can’t recommend Roe & Co (and especially Tim!) enough. Thank you Tim from both me and my partner!

We popped in for a drink and a look around on Saturday and we where completely blown away. Wish we booked the tour! A beautiful building, with a stunning bar, the staff and barman where so friendly welcoming and helpful (thank you for the food recommendation at Arthurs bar nearby!) We had fantastic cocktails and a taste of the Roe and Co whiskey, which was also beautiful! It was a pleasent break from the busy streets and Guinness Storehouse! Will definitely be back!

We toured Jameson and Guinness before going to Roe and Co. The whole group agreed and couldn't stop talking about the "Beyond the Blend" tour we took with our guide/expert Tim. It was just our 4 person group during the tour and Tim really took care of us. The tasting, cocktail creation based on our flavor preference was really cool. I've toured distilleries in Louisville, KY and this was by far the best one I've done. I highly recommend going to Roe and Co.

We had a terrific experience doing some whiskey tasting at the distillery. Roe & Co is part of the Diageo/Guinness family and this location is right across the street from the Guinness Open Gate Brewery tasting room. The funny thing is, this distillery opens before the brewery, and it was because we were a little early, we ended up going to Roe & Co first. We are glad we did! They have a good and interesting range for tasting including not just Irish whiskey so you can make a comparison between styles around the world. Visit the washroom and the gift shop. Both are interesting and have unique items like a choose and fill your own bottle.

Had a great experience doing the tour & tasting, which was both informative and interesting, as well as an interactive experience. Tim's quick wits and his passionate storytelling really made this a great experience. Definitely also take the time to drink one of their signature cocktails in the adjacent bar!

Roe & Co Distillery was an unexpected find. It has a beautiful interior with a great view of the workings of the distillery. Great stop around the corner from The Guinness Museum. The Whiskey was very impressive as we took our time and enjoyed a few sample flights. Sit back, relax and enjoy.

What a fantastic experience at this distillery! We enjoyed our experience with Isaac who gave us a tour and did the cocktail making session. We had so much fun and highly recommend this experience! Even their whiskey is delicious.

We added this whiskey cocktail workshop to our Dublin weekend because my partner loves local whiskey and we wanted something beyond the usual Jameson stop. As a travel blogger, I’m always looking for unique, local experiences, and this was a great find. The cocktails were delicious and the experience felt fun and personal. Miguel our guide was fantastic! He took the time to really connect with everyone and made the class engaging but also personal. If you can choose your guide, I highly recommend him.

Where whiskey meets artistry—and hospitality shines Roe & Co Distillery is more than a stop on Dublin’s whiskey trail—it’s a spirited celebration of flavor, creativity, and connection. Nestled in the heart of the Liberties, this beautifully reimagined former Guinness power station pulses with energy, inviting guests into a world where tradition meets innovation. From the moment we arrived, the staff were phenomenal—welcoming, knowledgeable, and genuinely passionate about what they do. Their enthusiasm was infectious, and their ability to tailor the experience to each guest made the tour feel personal and memorable. The journey begins with a deep dive into the art of distilling and blending, where you learn not just how whiskey is made, but why each step matters. The storytelling is rich, the visuals are striking, and the pacing is perfect—never rushed, always engaging. But the real magic happens in the cocktail workshop, where expert bartenders guide you through a hands-on experience that’s equal parts education and indulgence. You explore the five flavor profiles—sweet, sour, bitter, salty, and umami—and craft a cocktail that suits your unique palate. It’s interactive, playful, and surprisingly enlightening. Whether you’re a cocktail connoisseur or a curious novice, you’ll leave with a newfound appreciation for balance and creativity in mixology. The setting itself is stunning—industrial chic meets Irish warmth. Every detail, from the copper stills to the ambient lighting, adds to the immersive feel. And the Power House Bar at the end? The perfect place to sip, savor, and reflect. Roe & Co isn’t just a distillery—it’s a masterclass in hospitality and flavor. If you’re in Dublin and want an experience that’s equal parts fun, flavorful, and expertly guided, this is the place to be.

Popped in for a cocktail in the middle of the afternoon. It was a pleasant and relaxing experience. The bar was beautifully decorated and the cocktail menu was very innovative. Service was excellent as well.

Very cool distillery with a story linked to the previous golden age of Irish ☘️ Whiskey 🥃 . Our tour guide Luke was very engaging and informative. We did the cocktail experience and Luke did an entertaining job of explaining. The facilities were clearly designed to facilitate a great tour experience. The bar in the building which is the former power plant for Guinness is very interesting and inviting, and the mixed drink and the end was excellent.

Whiskey is always a favoured tipple. Guided tasting gets the best out of the experience. The local history lesson , architectural information from the guide was spot on . The flavour profile of the whiskey and the interactive tasting and blending was great. I really like the Single grain expression of Roe & Co. A great tipple . Tasting with a great friend is even more fantastic

Great place to visit, whether it is for a tour of the distillery or a cocktail class or just drinking some cocktails. Everyone I interacted with was super friendly, knowledgeable and helpful. All the drinks were amazing, the shop has a great selection of bottles and glasses etc, and the decor is great too.

We visited Roe & Co for the first time to check out its Power House Bar, located within the main distillery building. The interior is elegantly designed with plenty of seating. The cocktails were expertly crafted and delicious, and the service was also great. The only downside is that they close fairly early on a Friday and Saturday night.

Absolutely phenomenal guide and experience; Billie (Billy?) did a great job giving us a short tour of Roe and Co before leading us in the Flavors Experience. Billie had high energy and made us all laugh pretty much all the time. The experience was excellent, and between the cocktail you make yourself, the tour, and the free drink you can at gorgeous Powerhouse bar after, it's well worth the money. To be honest, I found out about Roe and Co when booking my ticket for the Guinness Storehouse, but I would much rather have skipped Guinness Storehouse and just went to Roe and Co Distillery. Seriously, it's a much better value, and a much more personal experience. I highly recommend, and I only wish that I had space in my suitcase to take some of their 106 Blend Irish Whiskey home.

We didnt participate in the tour of the Distillery because we were already familiar and involved in the distilling process back home, but truly enjoyed the space and staff in the tasting room, where we had a flight of whiskey and even tried the non alcoholic option. Lovely space, will be back when we return to Dublin!

I had not heard of this distillery prior, but found it from the Hotel website for things to do. I came for the experience of Irish whiskey and blending sounded intriguing. Love the facility. Love the guided tour. Fun short blending lesson. Excellent old fashioned. Absolutely fun and worth the trip. Enjoyed the afterwards bar time just hanging out and sampling the whiskey flights. Loved the staff and great hospitality and service. I've been to the Kentucky Bourbon Trail and really enjoyed this experience.

We had a cocktail making class here held by Isabel. We had a great time and really learned a lot about whiskey and cocktail flavourings in general. Would recommend to anyone in the area.

I did 4 distillery tours and the Guinness tour on the same day. This was my favorite of the distilleries. I felt like I learned the most here and also had the most fun. Reese was an amazing tour guide and really amped us all up and made the time fly by. I would recommend this distillery over Jameson, Teeling, or Pearse Lyons if you only have time for one.

Super recommended! When we purchased the Guinness tour we were suggested to buy also the Roe & Co tour tickets and we said “why not?” Such a good decision! Our tour guide Brianna was great! The tour includes a quick visit to the distillery followed by a cocktail making class. This last one was the gem of the tour! Not only we tasted their whiskey but we learned the basic of cocktail making and we prepared our own cocktail, that we sipped at the bar. The cocktails were amazing (thanks to Brianna)! At the bar on the ground floor we were also presented with another cocktail, this time prepared by the bartender. The experience was totally worth it!

What a lovely experience! Guest reception was warm and inviting, Andrew, our experienced host, was informative and made it fun! Grace our waitress was great! All around a 10/10.. if your on the fence, book it and you won't be disappointed!

When in doubt, head to Roe & Co. I’ve been a fan for years and eagerly anticipate their flagship store. The moment I stepped inside, I was blown away. It may not be as spacious as some other stores, but their branding and stores are clean and inviting, making it a delightful place to explore.

My brother stumbled upon this distillery and arranged a tour for us. It turned out to be an absolutely delightful experience! Apart from the charming ambiance, we had the opportunity to craft our own cocktails, which was a fantastic touch. The bar exuded a cozy and quaint vibe, and the staff members were incredibly friendly and knowledgeable. I'm already looking forward to returning in September for another tour!

Gorgeous facilities. Amazing tour! We actually got to make a cocktail, which was so fun! This was in addition to the cocktail of your choice that you recwive at the end of the tour. Our tour guide was Shane and he was simply wonderful. Clearly extremely knowledgeable as well as engaging and helpful. We loved this tour and can't wait to do it again. Would recommend!

EXCELLENT our tour guide was amazing Karl certainly knew his stuff and could answer all the questions, and the cocktail making class was excellent, really enjoyed it and put an extra twist on the tour to top it off you got another drink in the beautiful atmosphere and decorated bar. Fully recommend AMAZING LOVED IT😍😋

Booked the whiskey blending workshop on the recommendation of a friend. For 30 euros you get a short, informative tour of the distillery followed by a whiskey tasting. The tasting includes 3 shots, an "Old Fashioned" that you put together yourself and a small cocktail at the end in the bar, which invites you to linger afterwards. The interior was tasteful and fancy. Our guide Marc did a great job, thank you for that. Overall, highly recommended!

Had a chance to visit this distillery as part of a package purchased from the official Guinness Storehouse website. Well worth the ticket add on to visit Roe & Co. Excellent tour with a very knowledgable guide. The experience took us through the history of the distillery, an understanding of how the whiskey is made and ended with a tasting & cocktail creation session (3 samples and a cocktail followed by one last sample at the end). The location is perfect and steps away from the Storehouse. The tasting was brilliant. Learn from a true knowledge keeper as to how to best taste and drink your whiskey. While you have options to purchase product at the end of the tour, I made the mistake of not having done in the moment - I did however manage to purchase a bottle of the Flor (single grain) at Dublin Airport Duty free on my way home.

This place is simply amazing. Forget the Guinness tour across the street. We did the "Beyond the blend" tour and we were not disappointed! There were a total of 6 people on our tour, very private. Started going through the brewhouse to a tasting room on the second floor where we tried several different whiskeys, including some straight from the distilling room that are not bottled. We then were able to make our own whiskey blend and create a cocktail out of it. Just when we thought the tour was over, we were directed down to their bar for another pour of one of their whiskeys. This tour was 100% worth the money and we will be doing this again when in Ireland. Do not miss out on this one of a kind experience!

1 word! WOW Not only is this experience tour very beginner friendly, it also allows for some amazing immersive experience for the more seasoned whiskey enthusiasts. I really chanced my arm coming here for a business tour, but they delivered everything expected and more. Amazing bar staff, GREAT tour guide, perfect amount of general information and a really niche experience blending ourselves, for a VERY affordable price. Will be taking everyone who hasn’t been here before to this distillery from now on when visiting the city. THANKYOU roe & co 😃

Enjoyed our tour here. The blending experience was great getting to try the whiskeys with some sweets pairing and make our own cocktails. Our tour guide Tim was fabulous; very enthusiastic and funny. The bar has fantastic cocktails and would definitely recommend at least stopping in for that

Beautiful distillery & bar. Their merch is all very tempting. The tour was OK. While the guide had knowledge, it felt like he was going through the motions and he's reciting the same words he's said dozens or hundreds of times. I've visited a few distilleries and this tour didn't feel any different or more interesting than others. The cocktail making session looked really nice but felt rushed (the guide mentioned how another group is due in so we had a time schedule). All the equipment looked new and clean. The bar was very nice and the tour ended with another cocktail. I think it was good value but the tour could do with some spicing up.
