First time ordering from here. The crispy chicken had no flavor. The mixed rice was delicious once I found leftover soy sauce. The egg rolls were good too. I will order from here again. Just not the chicken. Will go to the restaurant instead of delivery, everything was cold.

I had been driving past this place for the past year, and decided the time to try it would be now. During a pandemic, hahaha. I was pleased to see the staff and cooks in the back wearing masks and gloves as the food was prepared and packaged. The food: I was excited to try it, but it was lack luster to me. My Honey Sesame chicken had too much thick sauce on it, and I expected it to be a bit sweeter than it was, hence the word 'honey'. The fried rice was average.  The combo Low mein was decent. I did like the Chicken fried rice, it had vegetables and onion in it. There wasn't anything I tried that would warrant a return visit from me unfortunately. Just my opinion

The quick of it... it is good. Not great... not bad. A step above Panda Express. Good portions of ok food. Location is basic, but clean. The help seemed constantly confused with orders. I would come back if convenient, but wouldn’t seek it out.

I ordered shrimp fried rice. I paid $10 for 5 shrimp and a bowl of fried rice. Fried rice was decent but not worth $10. I asked about the shrimp egg roll and versus the spring roll. I got ripped off and got charged for both egg rolls when I clearly stated that I only wanted the Shrimp Egg Roll (really good). Overpriced and not worth it. Perhaps other Rice Pots are good. But avoid this one at all costs.

Ordered the Sesame Chicken with white rice and an order of dumplings. This chicken is just not good. I kept spitting every other bite out, due to the 60 seconds of just pure chewing I had to do. It's mostly grissle. The crust is thick, to make you think you're getting a good bit of chicken, but you are not. The rice was ok, the dumplings tasted like frozen dumplings from a bag. Overall just not fresh. Not impressed with this place. I've been in a few times, just trying to give them a chance to get it right, but I've reached my disappointment limit, and so has my wallet.

When it’s done right it’s delicious and affordable, extra plus is that it’s near by where I live. Tonight got a dinner plate of sesame chicken and fried rice. The sesame chicken tasted old and most of the “meat” was just crust as the chicken was extra crispy and almost rock hard. Business doesn’t seem as busy as it was the first couple of times I’ve come here and now I see why. The way the economy is why would you give someone old food when they’re spending their hard earned money with your business. Waste of $15 😡

Nothing about their egg rolls is an egg roll. It’s more like shrimp tempura and it’s disgusting. The shell and tail was deep fried in the panko crusted batter. I called and asked what they have in their fried rice that comes with the entree and was told eggs, onions and scallions. It was a lie! It’s got nothing but hard tinted not fried rice. I ordered online and there was an option for items to add to your rice and they put my peas and carrots in my orange chicken but not in my fried rice. Orange chicken and vegetable lo main was good but I’m mostly disappointed at the customer service. When I called there was no apology or suggestion on how they could fix the issues.

I don’t mean to be petty and I am great at following rules and guidelines, but…, When you patronize a Local community business for years, You would think that you get a little local consideration. I just walked into the restaurant at 3:01 PM. Lunch stops at 3 PM. I tried to get the lunch special, even though I was one minute late, but, the young girl said, no more lunches and she could not serve me off the lunch menu. Again, I am good with rules, I just figured being one minute late would still afford me the community courtesy to get served. That’s OK, I just went up the street to the other local Chinese Restaurant and gave them my money instead. So unfortunate!

Placed an order of Sesame chicken and what I thought was chicken was just a ball of crust with sauce on it disgusted as chunks of chicken. Very disappointed, explains why the place was empty as it should be if that’s how you do your customers

You’re better off spending your money at Panda Express. The guy with the mustache is very rude. The rice is not cooked all the way. This is the first time I’ve came here and it will be the last.

This meal was horrible. I ordered beef and broccoli. The beef was extremely poor quality. My daughter ordered orange peel chicken. The chicken was just layers and layers of breading with almost no chicken. The "fried rice" was just seasoned white rice with nothing else too it. The rice was also very sticky and soggy. I will not return.

I decided to stay home and give this place a try tonight. Unfortunately, I will not be ordering from Rice Pot again. The Egg drop soup was greasy and a bit on the Orange color side for my liking as well as salty ($2.75 or so for this portion). The combination Fried rice was on the salty side as well and only 3 shrimp decided to tag along, the plate is extremely small for two people to share (you definitely will still be hungry @ $9.99). Last but not least we ordered Spring Rolls (5x. $5.99) WAY TO SALTY AND BURNT!! So far Jimmy's Great China on Main St has definitely beat this places price, serving portions and taste!
