Quick, cheap, and very tasty. The menu has a lot to offer, but it's hard to pass up on the 3 dollar hamburgers. The double meat and bacon cheeseburger was fantastic - juicy, fresh, and full of flavor. It's cash only, but worth every dollar.

We live in El Paso, Texas and our son lives about 1 mile from Whimpy's. The lady at the counter said they have been there 78 years. I understand why. The double cheeseburger was one of the best I have ever had. Cash only.

Excellent cheeseburger with fast, friendly service. The cheeseburger was cooked just right, the bun was toasted and the vegetables were nice and fresh. Definitely worth another visit!

They tell burger has mayo & mustard plus, l, t, pickles & onions. I said no mayo but got it anyway. Despite that it was excellent and so were Onion Rings. They also give you napkins, ketchup, salt & pepper. (Which is a bonus for me-since no one else does). Order was quick and hot and served in non styrofoam containers if dig the environmental stuff. I took a gamble & came from Arlington on a Monday even though internet said they were closed and no one answered phones. Luckily they were open and building says open 7 days a week. They had some awesome looking cakes for sale & some fruit smoothies on menu too. Cash only or Zelle for $3 extra. (I don’t know why but I can guess…haha)

Stopped in hopes of having a burger close to a home style burger. 20 years ago this spot was the bomb. Today the burger was a dud 😢. The bun is still toasted but for whatever reason that is all I tasted.

I finally ate here and, It's decent. I had the shrimp, oyster, and fillet combo also had a cheese burger with fries and I also had the shrimp basket, all of it was ok, I've had better burgers this wasn't it.

The patties are the generic patties that you would find at a swap meet grocery store and the woman that served us was very disrespectful and unhelpful I would never eat at this place again

First time customer. Bad experience! Horrible customer service, and it's sad the way they treat customers. They talk bad to this guy in front of me who has placed his order first. Walked up to order and try for the first time. Was greeted by a RUDE woman who refused our service because we weren’t wearing a mask. Mind you ordering takes place OUTSIDE. To top it off the rude woman that told me I needed to wear a mask had her mask not even over her face so…. I hope business like this get shut down and their business licenses taken wouldn’t give them a bucket of water if they were on fire.

2026 I'lI dont know what changed but burger patty doesnt taste freshly grilled. The fries aren't crunchy anymore. Soggy fries. Go back to old receipt. 2020 5 star review. Great cheeseburger with bacon. Backyard grill style!

I ordered a cheeseburger that was incredibly soggy. Seems like they dipped the bun in water and gave it to me. Secondly, the fries weren’t even fully cooked all the way. And finally, there were two older ladies that were incredibly rude the minute I approached their window to order. Really nasty place with horrible customer service. I know getting your order wrong is somewhat expected when ordering at a food place but what made it worse was their horrible customer service. Very rude ladies.

Unless sitting in your cars ac counts. The fish was nasty mystery fish fried. Could be cod. I suggest they post it. Know who you serve people😳. Links grilled and over cooked.
