The service and drinks are fantastic and depending on the drink, the bartender will pick the ingredients fresh from the patio. I highly recommend stopping by when you get a chance. We always do when we're in PV.

I'm in love with the coco, wow, c'est mon cocktail préféré! Les drinks sont originaux et surtout très bons. Les prix moyens,pour les cocktails un peu plus exotiques, sont de 130 pesos . Au happy hour les margaritas sont à 35 pesos, et les margaritas aux cocombres en font partie. Le service était impeccable, on a été traité comme de la famille.

This is a great little bar with wonderful cocktails. I had a yummy Mexican mule and my husband had the Senorita..coconut water and vodka! Even their house margaritas and mojitos are great. Another fun thing to do is their mezcal tasting. Tasting choices of mezcal paired with different salts and grasshoppers. A true treat!

Love this little bar! Bar La Playa is such an authenticly friendly little bar located in the heart of the romantic zone in Puerto Vallarta. Staff is always friendly and often times you'll find the owner Alex working behind the bar. Great drinks and upbeat music. Very reasonable prices and plenty of friendly people to talk to. Probably the best bar is PV.

First off, I'm counting fruit margaritas as food. Second, this little gem is one of our favorites. Our son found it through his extensive preemptive research before arrival to PV. The bartenders make the margaritas with fruit they muddle for each drink. It's small, so you may or may not get a seat. We have been there when a food tour comes through, so that can put a temporary overload on the orders. The bartenders seem to take it in stride and manage to keep the drinks coming without losing quality. Props to the hard working crew. I try to honor the great people providing great service, so last year it was Eduardo and his sister. This year was David. Salud!

Alessis y su equipo te atienden de maravilla es un lugar pequeño con gran entusiasmo de servicio y atención, cócteles excelentes y super ambiente. Y claro por qué no? Puedes tener una playera con el logo del Bar la Playa.

Bar La Playa is a favorite of ours and we stop in at least once or twice every visit. We love their HH specials - fresh ingredient margs, fancy drinks (I LOVE the dolphin drink - Going Bananas) I have been coming here since 2018! The staff never changes. Everyone is fantastic and true mixologists!

What a delightful gem of a bar literally 2 minutes walk from the beach/ Malecon in Zona Romantica. Visited mid afternoon and they had Happy Hour on, tried 2 Maracuya (Passion Fruit) Margaritas and I couldn't fault them. Will be going back next time we are in the area, great for people watching too.

Great location of this little bar, and I’ve been multiple times and each time has been fantastic. Great walk right off the beach and still enjoy the sea breeze if you’re sitting outside. Great people watching, since it’s on the main thoroughfare to the beach and across from the tile plaza. Margaritas are great-and price was even better during happy hour. Small little place, with a few barstools inside and a few small tables outside. Super friendly and attentive staff. Will always be coming back here!!

Bar La Playa had a great vibe and friendly staff. Most impressive was their selection of non alcoholic drinks. Such treat to be able to enjoy a delicious fancy beverage. Seriously exceptional mocktails are a rare find. Priced at $60 pesos, all handmade with fresh ingredients. We will most definitely revisit Bar La Playa again and again. Cocktail prices were extremely fair compared to other restaurants we went to, ranging from 90-135 pesos. You have competition now. We ALWAYS come here every single time we travel here, but not happy they just increased the happy hour..:again. Next door is cheaper, and they look like they are trying to prove themselves. I will compare to see who has the best HH margs.

MUCHO CUIDADO con establecimiento. Yo fui testiga de que alguien se sentó cerca de la tienda del lado, donde venden souvenirs. Hay una pequeña pared donde ponen los imanes con souvenirs, se cayó con un solo tocar y le toco pagar al joven 600 pesos mexicanos. NADIE en el bar salió a asistir. Cuando fue a pagar por los objetos rotos, alguien le dijo que esto pasaba frequentemente. Terrible.
