We stopped on our way to Moab from Denver mostly because of the high Google rating. The food and service was excellent. We had the Chicken Pesto Panini and the Empire breakfast with a side pancake. Such delicious food. Good quality Chicken with crunchy bacon and oozing cheese. Tasty sausage, potatoes and a delicious large pancake. We will stop on the return trip!

Absolute gem of a find on our way into Denver from Breckenridge. Super friendly atmosphere from the moment we walked in- extra points for Sugi the beautiful husky mix puppy (also the mascot of Empire’s Edge). Great recommendations on what to order by the cook, the Breakfast Burrito and Breakfast Sandwich. The Breakfast Burrito not only fills the hungriest of stomachs but the potatoes, eggs and choice of meat accompanied by the verde chile sauce was out of this world. The Breakfast Sandwhich was very carefully created and the chipotle aioli was the perfect sauce for the sandwich. Will definitely stop in again on our next Breckenridge trip!!

This cozy coffee shop has been my go to stop after skiing all day. Staff has been very friendly and service is fast. My go to has been a lavender chai and I’m very happy that they offer something other than dairy. Love my little pit stop!

Tucked away in a cosy little town, this café was a pleasant surprise! We tried the chicken panini, quesadilla, and tacos, and everything tasted freshly made. The chicken panini had a nice crisp on the bread with juicy, flavorful chicken inside. The quesadilla was cheesy and well-seasoned, and the tacos had a great balance of spice and freshness. The place has a cozy, laid-back vibe — perfect for a casual lunch or quick bite. Service was friendly and the food came out fairly quickly. It’s definitely one of those hidden gems that deserves a little more attention.

Did you hike and find yourself hungry? Come here. The portions were large. The hamburger with fries was great, the super nachos were excellent (great bites) and the quesadilla was surprisingly good. Surprising because I don’t usually get a quesadilla outside of a Mexican restaurant and it hit. Kiddo ate up grilled cheese. Service was great too!

Excellent place! We just had the best breakfast tacos. I have a hard time finding GF options in small towns and this place had lots to choose from. They made everything to order from scratch and had DELICIOUS coffee. I normally don’t like sweet coffee but the iced honey vanilla latte was epic. Not too sweet and really perfect. Super friendly staff and quick service. Definitely worth the few minute detour from I-70.

You MUST stop on your way to Grand lake!! Small but mighty. Amazing coffee, breakfast burritos was great, but I LOVED the breakfast sandwich. The chef was great. The lady the took our order was super sweet. A lot of people were taking the burritos to go. We ate inside. Great place!

Stopped today on our way home from grand lake. I had pretty low expectations if I’m being honest but WOW. one of the best breakfast burritos I’ve ever had(I got the chorizo). Looking forward to making this my regular stop on the way up and back. My kids also loved the croissants they got. Can’t wait to come back!

I had the Chicken quesadillas and they were great (there are 4 pieces, I ate two of them before I took the picture. Kinda small interior but cozy. Burger looked fantastic and so did the burrito. I didn't have them but coworkers seemed to enjoy them. Good little stop and prices are reasonable too

Just wow! Honestly, the place doesn't look like much, but damn, the food is absolutely amazing! Staff was super friendly, too. We tried BLT, chicken tacos, and Reuben, with a side of fries. Everything looked and tasted absolutely great. The tacos had fresh ingredients and a ton of flavor. We'll definitely be back after some hiking, it's a hidden gem. Gluten free options are clearly marked! Just what GF people love <3

This cafe is a fantastic find for coffee lovers. The coffee is delicious and reasonably priced. They also make excellent sandwiches, perfect for a light meal. The ambience is cozy. It's a great place to relax or catch up with friends. Highly recommended for anyone looking for good coffee and a nice atmosphere!

Fantastic food and extremely nice people. The sign on the building isn't quite up yet, so trust the GPS navigation and the signs on the road. The chicken quesadilla caught me by surprise with how AMAZING it is. The chicken is very generously portioned. The black beans and red onions really added a punch of flavor, and we enjoyed the chipotle aioli (which we got on the side.) The quesadilla was so good that I had to try some of the other menu items. The Reese's Peace shake was phenomenal, and I thoroughly enjoyed the chicken pesto panini. It had an entire chicken breast slathered in a very tasty, mild pesto on good ciabatta.

Very quite coffee shop with some rustic vibes. Breakfast and lunch options were pretty general. We decided to stop here while driving to the mountains to get something warm as temperatures were Going down. Service was fast and friendly and our food was cook to order. My hot cappuccino was perfect. My tacos were good but had too much extra thing like giant pieces of tomatoes and avocados. The chicken quesadilla was pretty big and was tasty. Overall a good spot to stop for a quick bite or coffee break.

Local to Empire. Thought I’d treat myself to lunch out today before work. Was pretty excited about it not only cause I love food but also because I genuinely enjoy the opportunity to support my local businesses. So I took a nice little walk down the hill with my dog. I tied my dog up outside went in and was greeted kindly by a man behind a register. He got my name and after a few seconds said with confidence and with your locals discount it’ll be $37.50! Shocked! I literally choked and replied those are$20 sandwich! I payed the $40 and started my walk back up the hill! Kicking myself every step of the way. Finding a small sliver of hope to the thought of this sandwich being the best damn sandwich I’d ever eaten, and we’re crossing both my fingers and toes open the box to find… boohoo
