Are the best donuts definitely my favorite in Encinitas. It's hard to pick just one. Sarah is sweet and friendly best donuts in Encinitas. Even got extra donut when I was there. She even has weekend donuts for the little ones. Ones look like elmo and cookie monster.

I have been going here for years. The donuts are fresh & delicious. I usually get the ham, cheese and jalapeño crossaint, which is huge & fulfilling. Also the owner is very welcoming and kind.

Stopped in here while while running errands on a Sunday and was pleasantly surprised with the selection they had at 12PM on a Sunday! The woman who helped us was very nice, and the maple bar we split was delish. Would recommend and return :)

Amazing cruellers. The prices are good and the owner Sarah always throws in a donut hole or two. Doesn't look like much in the shop but she makes great donuts. Insider tip: pick your favorite donut and ask for fresh whip cream or Bavarian cream in it.

Really nice selection the donuts are very large. The owner recognizes me when I come in. Whenever I'm in the area I have to stop there! My family would never forgive me if I didn't. Love the owners!

Just FYI, they are open Christmas Eve, but closed Christmas Day & on the 26th. **There's a review from 4 weeks ago (5/22) saying Super Donuts #2 is closed, which is not accurate. I was just there and can confirm that it is still in business.

Best donuts in north county I have yet to find. The lady that runs the shop is so sweet she is half the reason I go.

There donuts are big yummy and fluffy. The staff was friendly funny and super helpful. Had the flavored coffee it was super good.

This place is famous and well known among the locals for making great Donuts on the weekends for kids generally with an artistic Flair and kid themed Donuts in addition to that they also have baked donuts and rolls and bagels so I would describe it as a very kid friendly donut place with high quality products in a very friendly service staff there is a few tears there to sit and they sell coffee in other drinks they do a very brisk business to go with the moms that have little kids.

Owner is super sweet, delicious donuts, and owner slides a few freebies sometime too. My go to donut place.

The only place to go. I had to look up the name because it was introduced to me as “Sara’s” the owner/ operators name by friends. . Coffee is really good as well. We have found that quality comes with independently owned places where the owners are artisans who make their donuts themselves and whose livelihood depends on their reliable product. Super donuts #2 is just such a place and our favorite donut shop in San Diego. Not fancy on the outside or inside, cash only. Just great donuts.

I couldn’t believe the level of service I received at this donut shop. I was on the way to a meeting and dying for some coffee and a little snack. I was actually dizzy because I hadn’t eaten in 24 hours and quickly googled a donut shop because I was so hungry. I walked in and saw a cash only sign and devastated because I knew I had no cash. The woman was so sweet and said it’s okay you can pay me later ??? I was so in shock and she served me the most delicious coffee and jalapeño croissant. I almost hesitated to post this because I don’t want anyone walking in thinking they’ll get something free (or take advantage) but I was so profoundly touched by her generosity (of course I returned and paid). Who knew an $8 coffee and croissant would be so meaningful but I was literally so touched by that and thought about it all day. I will say they have a customer for life after that! I’m only five minutes away so will make sure to get my morning coffee from them as much as possible. Amazing food and service 10/10. My new favorite donut shop and I will brag to everyone I know about their jalapeño ham and cheese croissants! The coffee is better than Starbucks and the croissant is the best I have ever had! Can’t believe I barely discovered this hidden gem!

They are still so much cheaper than they should be. I know the donut shops off of the 101 are where out of towners are referred to, but this little unassuming mom and pop happiness palace will complete you. I bought a custard filled chocolate bar, a custard filled maple bar, an apple fritter, a glazed donut, and an old fashioned donut from Super Donuts this morning for my family and I. Each and every donut was delicious! I cannot speak highly enough of the service and food from this establishment! Please stop by the atm before you go: they do not take card!! The donuts are 100% worth it.

Yet, here I am, running to the ATM again, because when my family wants donuts, they want Super Donuts. My kids love the bear claws and colorful super sweet donuts aimed at them. My wife loves the crullers. And I love their prices and the owner's generous approach to counting donut holes. Absolutely always a winner.

It's a donut shop... the donuts are always fresh, soft and delicious worth a good selection. The prices are average for a donut shop.

Croissants were way too greasy and were soggy.

Two kids liked the donuts as much as our usual place, one did not…so 4 stars on the actual donuts. But the place is very dirty and cluttered…so one star on that. This was my second time here and it was the same then too.

I am so disappointed. I came in for two dozen and they taste like they are day old donuts...will not be returning
